According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, the scientific approach is a model for student-based learning to be motivated to be more active. The scientific approach is actually not much different from contextual-based learning activities. The knowledge and skills acquired by students are not expected to be the result of remembering a set of facts but are the result of discovering themselves. The scientific approach provides opportunities for students broadly to explore and elaborate on the material they are learning and provides opportunities for students to actualize their abilities through learning activities designed by the teacher. Learning outcomes are conditions that are achieved through learning. In general, everyone can define learning as an effort to improve the behavior of students from knowing to knowing, from not being able to being capable and not being able to be able and so on. From the results of learning can change the behavior and way of thinking of students better and will be stored, attached and not lost in the long term in the lives of students.

This study serves to determine the extent of the use of scientific approaches inlearning Islamic religious education. The method used in this research is to uselibrary research or library research. Where research uses reference books, articles, and journals related to the research title. The 2013 curriculum is a development ofthe Competency Based Curriculum which was first released in 2004 whichincludes competency attitudes, knowledge, and skills by using a scientificapproach in learning. Learning by using a scientific approach is a learning processthat is designed so that students are actively involved in contradicting principles, concepts, or laws by going through several stages of learning activities. The workprocess of this approach is to prioritize the logic of inductive thinking rather thandeductive. Learning with a scientific approach is a learning process that isdesigned so that students are actively involved in understanding the materialwithout relying on information conveyed by the teacher. The learning step with ascientific approach includes observing, asking, trying, reasoning (associating),concluding, and communicating (forming networks). The use of the scientificapproach is intended so that the material delivered by the teacher or educator canbe understood by students. Before carrying out learning activities using ascientific approach, the teacher must make some preparations by preparinglearning instruments such as lesson plans. Basically, all learning activities are leftto each teacher to be able to develop innovation and creativity. although thepreparation is not the same as the example, but it can provide a reference for theuse of a scientific approach

This study aims to determined whether there was an increase in student cognitive learning outcomes through the use of a Moodle-based Learning Management System in mathematics and physics learning.. This type of research uses a pre experimental design. The population in this study were students of Babussalam SMKS, while the sample was class XI students of the Babussalam North Aceh Islamic Boarding School. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of research data, The percentage of the number of students who met the completeness criteria in the physics class was 67% while in the mathematics class it was 91%. The average N-gain of cognitive learning outcomes for mathematics class was 0.6, higher than the N-gain average for Physics subjects, 0.475. This is because physics learning is not sufficiently taught through the delivery of material through Moodle, but must involve students in learning with a scientific approach. In this study, Moodle has not optimally integrated learning activities with a scientific approach so that cognitive learning outcomes have not reached the expected targets in physics subjects and  learning is not sufficiently taught through the delivery of material through Moodle, but must involve students in learning with a scientific approach. This study aims to analyze the intended learning outcomes (ILOs) and learning activities in Action Pack textbooks for Jordan in light of the EFL curriculum objectives. in Jordan (delete “in Jordan”, because it is redundant). The sample of the study consisted of Action Pack textbooks for three grade levels students ( delete “students” because it does not seem necessary to the meaning of the sentence) (grade 6, 10, 12) during the academic year 2014/2015. A specially prepared coding sheet was developed by the researcher to analyze the collected data based on a five- point Likert scale. Validity and inter-rater reliability were ensured prior to data analysis. Means and standard deviations in addition to One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to answer the questions of the study. The results showed that the outcomes and activities in Action Pack textbooks reflect the curriculum objectives to a certain extent. It was recommended that curricula expert, textbook authors and the Ministry of Education (MoE) in Jordan work more closely, so that a higher degree of match between curriculum objectives, textbooks outcomes and learning activities can be achieved.
