Menstruation is a sign of reproductive period in women’s life. But for some women are not like that, there are various kinds of disorders and discomfort when menstruation, such as premenstrual syndrome, dismenorhoe. Based on preliminary studies in midwifery Academy Aifa Husada Madura on Maret 20th 2016 from 107 female students of semester 4 to 59 female students (55,1%) experienced dismenorhoe, and 48 female students (44,9%) did not experience dismenorhoe. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ginger therapy toward the decreasing of dismenorhoe pain. The research methods are experiment (Experiment Research). The study design used One Group Pre-Post Test Design model and the sampling technique used accidental. Independent variable in this study was giving of ginger therapy and the dependent used variable in this study was reduction of pain scale dismenorhoe. The instrument used rating scale through observations of respondents before and after given ginger therapy. The samples were taken mostly the female students who experienced dismenorhoe in Midwifery Academy Aifa Husada Madura were 51 respondents. And the results were analyzed using wilconox test (α = 0,05). The result showed that some respondents befor giving ginger therapy were almost experiencing pain dismenorhoe were 47,1 %. While almost all respondents after given ginger therapy was experiencing of lowing pain dismenorhoe were 78,4%. Based on wicoxon statistic test found the significant value 0,00 and α = 0,05. Because of significant value < α values (0,00 < 0,05) means that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. So, there is the effect of ginger therapy toward the decreasing of dismenorhoe pain at Midwifery Academy Aifa Husada Madura The research should be used as a reference material as a herbal medicine to decrease dismenorhoe pain.

ABSTRACT Background: Dysmenorrhea is a gynaecological complaint due to an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood, which causes pain. Dysmenorrhea can be treated with non-pharmacological methods, namely by herbal therapy of macaranga (Macaranga triloba) leaves because macaranga leaves contain anti-oxidants which have the effect of reducing dysmenorrhea pain. This study aimed to examine the effect of macaranga leave capsule as on dysmenorrhea as a complementary therapy Subjects and Method: This was an experimental study with pre and posttest study without a control group design. Total of 60 female students were taken by accidental sampling. The dependent variable was dysmenorrhea. The independent variable was macaranga leave capsule. The study instrument used was Sclae Numeric Rating Scale by measuring the dysmenorrhea pain scale before and after being given mcaranga leaf capsule therapy. After 15 minutes, the dysmenorrhea pain scale was measured again. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test. Results: The results showed that on the first and second day, 57 respondents experienced a decrease in dysmenorrhea pain and 3 respondents did not experience a decrease in dysmenorrhea pain, and it was statistically significant (p<0.001). Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual disorder caused by an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood. The incidence of dysmenorrhea 45-95% among women of childbearing age, occurs in adolescents who lack sports. The impact of dysmenorrhea is the percentage of attendance at college and not participating in learning. One way to deal with pain is yoga. This study aims to analyze the effect of yoga on dysmenorrhea. The study design was a quasi-experimental one-group pre-post test design. The sample in this study was 33 female students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure the scale of pain during menstruation uses the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The collected data tested for normality data, and the data is normal, then the statistical test is done using repeated Anova test. The analysis showed that there were differences in pain scale before and after months 1 and 2 interventions with mean (sb) pain scale (5.8 (1.6) vs. 4.0 (1.7) vs. 2.7 (1.3) and P <0.05). The study concludes that yoga affects the decrease in pain scale during dysmenorrhea.

Reproductive health problems are dysmenorrhea is a problem related with menstruation. research show the highest prevalence of menstrual pain in adolescent women, adolescent who experience dysmenorrhea report pain that interferes with daily activities. Handling to reduce pain during menstruation, one of which is using the olive oil aroma therapy aroma method. This research to determine the effect of aroma therapy olive oil massage pain dysmenorrhea on midwifery student level I and II Stikes Tri Mandiri Sakti Bengkulu.This study used a pre experiment in one group (one group pre-post test design) the dependent variable of pain before and after treatment. Sampling was done by accidental sampling technique using the criteria totaling 41 student who experience dysmenorrhea. The study was conducted from May to June 2017. Retrievel of data using the observatioan sheet and analyzed using compared mean paired T-test. The Result of the research: (1) At 41 people in the first and second grade obstetric students who had dysmenorrhea before the massive olive oil odor therapy aroma got the average pain scale 5,73 with the standard deviation 1,450. (2) In 41 subjects who had dysmenorrhea after the massage of olive oil odor therapy, the average pain scale was 5,00 with a standard deviation of 1,414. (3) There is massive effect of olive oil odor therapy to dysmenorrhea pain in female students of Level I and II Prodi DIII Midwifery Tri Mandiri Sakti Institute of Health Sciences Bengkulu. Keywords : aroma therapy, dysmenorrhea, massage

Sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling. The independent variable is Bonapace Method, the instrument used is a checklist. Dependent variable is the reduction of labor pain in the active phase I, an instrument used to measure the level of pre and post pain with an observation sheet with a pain scale between 0 to 10 and an interview using the Verbal Descriptive Scale (VDS), rating scale, value 0 = no pain , 1-3 = mild pain, 4-6 = moderate pain, 7-9 = severe pain, 10 = very severe pain. Analysis of data using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank. The results of the data analysis stated sig (p) = 0,000 where α = 0.05, p <α, it means that there is an effect of the Bonapace Method on the reduction of labor pain in the active phase of the First Maternity where the Correlation or effect using the Wilcoxon Correlation = -0,382

Menstruation is an ordinary physiological marvel for ladies showing her capacity for reproduction. Monthly cycle is an intricate cycle, including the conceptive and endocrine framework. It has to be a regular cycle. Anyway, this ordinary wonder isn't a simple one; it is regularly connected with some level of sufferings and shame. The pain during the menstrual cycle is known as Dysmenorrhea. The present study aims to determine the effectiveness of dietary mint and fenugreek paste for the reduction of dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls. A quantitative experimental research was conducted among 60 adolescent girls. A convenient sampling technique was used to select the samples. Self-administered structured questionnaires were used to collect demographic data, and pain scale was assessed. After the Pretest, an intervention was given to the study participants, i.e. administration of 6 grams of mint fenugreek paste prepared from 2 grams of mint powder, 2 grams of fenugreek powder mix with 2 grams of honey. It was given orally twice a day (i.e. 2 days before and 3 days during the cycle). On 5th day after intervention, post-test was conducted by a numeric pain rating scale. The study results shows mint and fenugreek paste had a significant reduction in the dysmenorrhea, p<0.001. Thereby, this indicates that the mint and fenugreek paste is effective in reducing the pain during menstruation.

Background: Dysmenorrhea is a result of menstruation. Dysmenorrhea can cause a variety of complaints in young women such as irregular pain, severe pain and cramps in the lower abdomen that will spread to the back of the back, legs, groin. Cat Stretch Exercise is one of the interventions that is considered to reduce dysmenorrhea pain. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in pain levels in Pondok Imam Bukhari students who were given Cat Stretch Exercise. Methods: The study design used a quasi-two-group pre-test and post-test without control method. Pain measurement with a Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) to assess the level of pain before and after the Cat Stretch Exercise exercise. Respondents in the community service were 31 students who experienced dismenore. Results: Obtained decreased respondents' pain scale from moderate to mild pain. Conclusion: CSE interventions are recommended as one of the non-pharmacological steps to deal with the pain of dysmenorrhea.

Chest pain is a major complaint that is often felt by people with coronary heart disease. Chest pain occurs because of a decreased supply of oxygen to the myocardium. Murottal Al-Qur' therapy is a religious therapy where someone will be heard verses of Al-Qur’an for a few minutes so it will have a positive impact on one’s body, one of them is to reduce pain. This study aims to find out the difference between chest pain level before and after murottal Al-Qur'an therapy. This research design used a pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test. The sampling method was accidental sampling, the number of sampling were 17 respondents. The research instrument used the Numeric Rating Scale to measure pain scale before and after murottal Al-Qur'an therapy, giving it once for 20 minutes. The test statistic used is the paired sample T-test. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in chest pain levels before and after murottal Al-Qur'an therapy with a p-value of 0.004 (p <α (0.05)).Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy can reduce the scale of a patient's chest pain. Pain is an unpalatable sensory and emotional in contact with actual or potential tissue damage. Approximately 70% to 90% of people with cancer suffer with severe pain while undergoing treatment. Cancer pain can result due to poor blood circulation, a bone fracture that occurs due to metastasis, infection or inflammation in the affected part and side effects from cancer treatments. Hence the present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of foot massage on reduction of cancer pain among palliative care patients. The quasi-experimental design was employed with40 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected by non-probability convenience sampling technique. The researcher collected the demographic variables and done pre-test to assess the pain score by using a numerical pain scale for both the experimental group and the control group. For the experimental group, foot massage was given twice a day for five days. Control group received routine care. At the end of the fifth-day, post-test was done for both the experimental group and the control group. The data analysis was done by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The calculated ‘t’ value is reveals that the experimental group seems to be highly significant than the control group. So foot massage is effective among cancer patients on the reduction of pain.

Abstract Dysmenorrhea is a pain occurred before or during menstruation which is usually in the lower abdomen forcing the sufferers to rest. The research problem was the high incidence of dysmenorrhea that disrupts activity. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of cutaneous stimulation on decreasing dysmenorrhea in young women. Pre-experimental study with an approach (One Group Pre-Post Test Design) was used with population of all young women who live in the complex of SMK Al-Futuh Tikung, Lamongan who experienced dysmenorrhea in 2017/2018 and the sample were 30 young women. The independent variable was giving cutaneous stimulation and the dependent variable was the decreasing in dysminorrhoea. Concecutive sampling technique was used using VAS scale measurement tool. It was analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test with a significant level of p <0.05. The results showed that the majority of young women experienced dysmenorrhea before the application of cutaneous stimulation and the a lot of them did not experience dysmenorrhea after cutaneous stimulation was given. There were differences in the level of dysmenorrhea before and after applying cutaneous stimulation, with t = 45,639 and p = 0,000. Looking at the results of this study, cutaneous stimulation can be effectively used to reduce dysmenorrhea. Kata Kunci : Dysmenorrhea, stimulation, cutaneous

This research uses quasi experiment post test only design. The study used consecutive sampling. The independent variable Method (Stimulation Endorphin,Oxytosin and Sugestive), dependent variable Smoothness of breast milk and Uteric Involution. data collection using observation sheets. The study population and sample were 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study of 30 respondents, 15 respondents were not given speos method therapy almost all respondents, namely 13 respondents not producing smooth milk (86.6%) and 10 respondents were abnormal Uterus (66.67%), while 15 respondents were given Method (Stimulation endorphin, oxytocin and suggestive) almost All respondents, 14 respondents, were producing breast milk smoothly (93.3%). T-test results obtained pvalue = 0,000 ≤ α = (0.05), so that Ha is accepted. There is an influence of Method (Stimulation endorphin, oxytocin and suggestive) to increase milk production and involution of the uterus in post partum
