This research aimed to know the elements in the folklore of Maybrat Regency and value of character education contained in the folklore of Maybrat Regency. The data obtained in this study were three stories from Maybrat Regency which were obtained through the results of interviews with informants who came and were in Maybrat Regency. The research method used is descriptive research method with procedures: conducted interviews, record the interview process, rewrite the results of interviews in this case folklore, analyzed elements in folklore, and analyzing the value of character education in folklore. The results in this research include three stories of Maybrat Regency entitled: (1) The origin of Arus Village, (2) The Origin of Way Clan, and (3) the Origin of Howay Clan. Here the result of analyze elements: (1) the theme of love and hard work, (2) the location of the story in the Maybrat Regency, (3) the characters that appear in family life (husband, wife, siblings, and a group of village people) their life character respects one another, (4) contains a degeneration plot, and (5) contains a positive message to work hard and maintain harmony in life. Furthermore, the value of character education is also contained in this story, namely: discipline, hard work, independence, caring for the environment, responsibility, tolerance and caring for others.

Tahlilan is one of the ancestral traditions of the Indonesian nation which is rich in social values. Apart from functioning as a religious ritual, it is also meaningful as a medium for character education. Through the field research method, this research seeks to reveal the values of character education contained in the tahlilan tradition, especially tahlilan carried out by the people of Losari Village, Losari District, Cirebon Regency. The results of this study found that there are so many values of character education contained in the tahlilan tradition in Losari Village, namely; diversity, social concern, hard work, and discipline. Thus, it can be said that the tahlilan tradition can function as the basis for character education for the Indonesian nation, especially among the Indonesian Muslim community.

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

The purpose of this research is to determine the welfare of employees at the Nurul Hayat Foundation, which is viewed from the perspective of the maqashid sharia, which is about religion, soul, intelligence, generation, and wealth. The research method used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative descriptive is researching a group of people, an object, a condition, or something in the present. The purpose of this descriptive research is to make an accurate description of the facts, traits and relationships between events that occur in real life. This study uses the interview process in primary data collection. The interview process was conducted with 7 employees of the Nurul Hayat Foundation. The results of this research are the Nurul Hayat Foundation as a sharia institution that always prioritizes religious values. Nurul Hayat Institution is the welfare of its employees by implementing policies for its employees. Through these policies all employees feel prosperous and fulfilled their needs as measured by the five indicators of maqashid sharia, namely maintaining religion, maintaining the soul, maintaining intelligence, maintaining generation, and maintaining wealth.Keywords: Employment, Employee Welfare, Islamic Welfare, Maqashid Sharia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa tradisional Nawung Sekar di SDN Rejodani dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter dan bentuk penanaman pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa Nawung Sekar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dan uji keabsahan data dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni tari Jawa tradisional Nawung Sekar di SDN Rejodani Sleman dilakukan dengan cara intervensi dan habituasi baik dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pengarahan, bimbingan, pembiasaan dan keteladanan, dan penciptaan kondisi selama tahap persiapan, pendahuluan, inti dan kegiatan penutup. Dalam ragam gerak yang terkandung dalam setiap ragam gerak tari Nawung Sekar pun disisipi penanaman karakter. Bentuk penanaman pendidikan karakter meliputi bentuk penanaman nilai karakter religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, cinta damai, mandiri, kreatif, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab.THE IMPLEMENTING OF CHARACTER EDUCATION THROUGH NAWUNG SEKAR DANCE AS EXTRACULICULAR ACTIVITYThis study was aimed at determining the implementation of the traditional Javanese dance Nawung Sekar as an extracurricular activity at Rejodani primary school in instilling character education and forming characters. The research method used in this study was a qualitative method. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model, while the data validity was tested by triangulation. The results of this study show that, for instilling character education in the extracurricular activity of traditional Javanese dance, Nawung Sekar at Rejodani primary school was done through intervention and habituation both in the learning process (through direction, guidance, habituation and example) and the creation of conditions during the preparation, introduction, core, and closing activities. In the range of movements contained in each of the Nawung Sekar, the implementation of character education was inserted. The forms of character education implemented in this activity are religious character values, tolerance, discipline, hard work, curiosity, patriotism, love of peace, independence, creativity, and social care and responsibility.

This article aims to determine how to anticipate attitudes of intolerance and disintegration that occur in Indonesia. This article uses a descriptive research method. The data was collected by conducting a literature study with information from respondents. In the process, the writer uses a qualitative approach. The author found an effort to anticipate attitudes of intolerance and disintegration by planting Islamic character education with the habituation method in all spheres of life. The results obtained from this study are that intolerance and disintegration can be anticipated by planting Islamic character education with the method of habituation in all spheres of life, both family, school, and society.

The purpose of this study is to find the values of character education by using material of the Struggle of K.H Gholib in defending Indonesian Independence at the Lampung Residency. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method with library research. The results of this study are briefly elaborated on the biography and struggle of K.H Gholib as a local figure who fought to defend Indonesia's independence at the Lampung Residency. Then the values of character education contained in the material include: religious attitudes, hard work, curiosity, love for the country, nationalism and communicative. These character values can be actualized by students in learning local history in high school. The hope is that students can emulate the figure of a figure from K.H Gholib, especially for those who live in the area of Lampung and apply it to their lives both now and in the future.

<p>Abstract<br />This article would like to examine the values of the characters of students Asshodiqiyah islamic Boarding School Semarang. Character education is a very strategic issue today. This can be seen from the many cases of moral decadence that has entered the world of education. Starting from the persecution of students even to murder. Of course this causes anxiety for all of us.<br />From that, it is necessary to be disclosed as one prototype model of character value education conducted in islamic boarding school as an indigenous institution that has proven to be the front guard in carrying out character education because the students of this islamic boarding school live for 24 hours under the watch of the kiai. <br />The issues raised in this article are: 1) How is the activity of the students in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang, 2) What are the character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research in which the researcher presents various data obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. <br />From the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) students’ activity in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang can be classified in the form of routine and incidental activity, whereas 2) The character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang are religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationalism, love of the homeland, appreciate achievement, communicative, love peace, love reading, caring environment, social care, responsibility. <br /><br />Abstrak<br />Artikel ini ingin mengkaji tentang Nilai-nilai karakter dalam komunitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Pendidikan karakter menjadi isu yang sangat strategis dewasa ini. Hal tersebut bisa kita lihat dari banyaknya kasus dekadensi moral yang sudah masuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Mulai dari penganiayaan yang dilakukan siswa bahkan sampai pembunuhan. Tentu saja hal ini menyebabkan kegelisahan bagi kita semua. <br />Dari itulah perlu kiranya untuk diungkap sebagai salah satu prototype model pendidikan nilai karakter yang dilakukan di pesantren sebagai lembaga indigenous yang telah terbukti menjadi garda terdepan dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter karena memang para santri bermukim selama 24 jam di bawah pantauan sang kiai.<br />Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam artikel ini adalah : 1) Bagaimana aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang, 2) Apakah nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mana peneliti menyajikan berbagai macam data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. <br />Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa: 1) Aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang dapat diklasifikasikan berupa kegiatan rutin dan insidental, sedangkan 2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang diantaranya berupa nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan atau nasionalisme, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab.<br /><br /></p>

<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Program matrikulasi penting dilakukan sebagai persiapan bagi mahasiswa baru dalam menerima pembelajaran pada saat perkuliahan berlangsung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripkan respons mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan TIK IKIP PGRI Pontianak tentang kegiatan matrikulasi yang dilaksanakan. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Responden penelitian yaitu seluruh mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan matrikulasi tahun akademik 2019/2020 sebanyak 112 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif-kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 74,11% responden “Sangat Setuju” matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Pendidikan Karakter; 77,68% responden “Sangat Setuju” matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Multimedia; 66,96% responden “Sangat Setuju” matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak; dan 63,39% responden “Sangat Setuju” matrikulasi diadakan untuk topik Jaringan Komputer.</p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The matriculation program is important as a preparation for new students to receive learning during lectures. The research aims to describe the response of ICT Education Teachers' Training Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak about matriculation activities carried out. The research method is descriptive. Research respondents were all students who participated in the matriculation activities of the 2019/2020 academic year as many as 112 people. The research instrument used a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that: 74.11% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Character Education; 77.68% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Multimedia; 66.96% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Software Engineering; and 63.39% of respondents "Strongly Agree" matriculation was held for the topic of Computer Networks.</em></p><p align="center"> </p>

Character education is a process of transformation of life values to be developed in the personality of a person or student so it becomes one in the person's life behavior. Character education is not only about teaching what is right and what is wrong, more than that character education inculcate habits about good so students become the wrong idea which one is right, and able to feel good value so students will be able to do good things. This study is aimed to teach the characters values and analyze the obstacles and supporting factors of the character education of students through Islamic Education learning in SMP PGRI I Bojonegoro. Qualitative research method is used in this study, a research method that does not use the count (statistics) but through data collection, analysis and then interpretation. The qualitative descriptive research attempts to describe the situation or events, does not seek or explain the relationship but describes the situation. The research results show that the values taught to students of SMP PGRI 1 Bojonegoro are religious, honesty, democratic, social interest, environmental interest, discipline. The supporting factors of the implementation of character education are the availability of facilities, and proper classroom infrastructure, good student learning interests, comfortable class atmosphere, and clean classroom. Keywords: Character Education, Islamic Education Subject
