<p>Abstract<br />This article would like to examine the values of the characters of students Asshodiqiyah islamic Boarding School Semarang. Character education is a very strategic issue today. This can be seen from the many cases of moral decadence that has entered the world of education. Starting from the persecution of students even to murder. Of course this causes anxiety for all of us.<br />From that, it is necessary to be disclosed as one prototype model of character value education conducted in islamic boarding school as an indigenous institution that has proven to be the front guard in carrying out character education because the students of this islamic boarding school live for 24 hours under the watch of the kiai. <br />The issues raised in this article are: 1) How is the activity of the students in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang, 2) What are the character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research in which the researcher presents various data obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. <br />From the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) students’ activity in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang can be classified in the form of routine and incidental activity, whereas 2) The character values developed in Asshodiqiyah islamic boarding school Semarang are religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationalism, love of the homeland, appreciate achievement, communicative, love peace, love reading, caring environment, social care, responsibility. <br /><br />Abstrak<br />Artikel ini ingin mengkaji tentang Nilai-nilai karakter dalam komunitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Pendidikan karakter menjadi isu yang sangat strategis dewasa ini. Hal tersebut bisa kita lihat dari banyaknya kasus dekadensi moral yang sudah masuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Mulai dari penganiayaan yang dilakukan siswa bahkan sampai pembunuhan. Tentu saja hal ini menyebabkan kegelisahan bagi kita semua. <br />Dari itulah perlu kiranya untuk diungkap sebagai salah satu prototype model pendidikan nilai karakter yang dilakukan di pesantren sebagai lembaga indigenous yang telah terbukti menjadi garda terdepan dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter karena memang para santri bermukim selama 24 jam di bawah pantauan sang kiai.<br />Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam artikel ini adalah : 1) Bagaimana aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang, 2) Apakah nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mana peneliti menyajikan berbagai macam data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. <br />Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa: 1) Aktifitas mahasantri di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang dapat diklasifikasikan berupa kegiatan rutin dan insidental, sedangkan 2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di Pondok Pesantren Asshodiqiyah Semarang diantaranya berupa nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan atau nasionalisme, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab.<br /><br /></p>

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

This research is motivated by problems in the world of education, that the values of character education get less attention because more directed to the mastery of academic or cognitive aspects. While the actual nonakademik aspect becomes the main foundation in character education less attention, so less embedded in learners. Therefore, this study aims to instill the values of character education contained in the novel Rantau Satu Muara by Ahmad Fuadi. This novel is chosen because it is closely related to the values of character education. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis method. This research also uses the approach of literary sociology. The data collection is done by the researchers themselves. The researcher recorded and analyzed the data during the research to collect the data taken in the novel text then the researchers themselves processed and analyzed the data in detail. The results of this study are the values of character education in the novel Rantau Satu Muara by Ahmad Fuadi which contains the values of character education, as follows. (1) Educational values of religious characters with indicators of sincerity, diligent worship / prayer, prayer, thanksgiving, and put your trust in. (2) The values of hard work character education with indicators of earnest, unyielding, aspiring and creative. (3) The values of education of the love character of the homeland with nationalist indicators and respect for diversity. (4) Educational values of the character communicative / friendly with indicators of cooperation, social care, love out, affection, kindness and respect the achievements of others. (5) The educational values of the characters love to read with the indicators of love science and diligent reading. (6) Values of character education responsibilities with independent indicators.

This research is motivated by the presence of the covid-19 outbreak, which causes many activities that cannot be done by gathering and meeting face to face. This impact is not only in the world of business or education, but also has an impact on worship activities and other religious activities such as congregational prayer at the mosque, weekly recitation at the mosque, including listening to dakwah directly from the ulama.  With the covid-19 outbreak as a pandemic that has spread to various countries, another step is needed in religious activities to prevent and break the covid-19 chain so that it does not spread widely. So staying at home and maintaining a distance is the choice of muslims when circumstances are felt to be detrimental to themselves and other.  In respone to this, it is necessary to conduct a study of some of the impact that occur in dakwah activities in the middle of a pandemic, which aims to find out whether due to the many obstacles, dakwah activities are still being carried out or not. To achieve this goal, this study used a qualitative-descriptive research method with litelature study techniques. The result of this study obtained data and the fact that there are many problems in dakwah in a pandemic situation like this. However, the data shows that the problems that occur are not a barrier to the existence of dakwah amid the covid-19 pandemic. ***Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hadirnya wabah covid-19, yang menyebabkan banyaknya aktivitas dan kegiatan yang tidak bisa dilakukan dengan berkumpul dan bertatap muka secara langsung. Dampak tersebut bukan hanya dalam dunia usaha ataupun pendidikan saja, tetapi juga berdampak pada kegiatan beribadah dan kegiatan keagamaan lainnya seperti salat fardhu berjama’ah di masjid, pengajian mingguan di masjid, termasuk mendengarkan dakwah dari para ulama secara langsung pun terhenti. Dengan adanya wabah covid-19 sebagai pandemi yang telah tersebar ke berbagai negara, diperlukan suatu langkah lain dalam kegiatan keagamaan untuk pencegahan dan memutus rantai covid-19 agar tidak tersebar dan tidak meluas. Maka tetaplah di rumah dan tetap menjaga jarak merupakan pilihan umat Islam saat keadaan sekitar dirasa dapat merugikan diri sendiri dan orang lain. Menyikapi hal tersebut perlu kiranya dilakukan kajian terhadap beberapa dampak yang terjadi pada kegiatan berdakwah di tengah pandemi, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan banyaknya kendala, kegiatan berdakwah tetap terlaksana atau tidak. Untuk mencapai tujuan tesebut, dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh data dan fakta bahwa banyak sekali problematika dalam dakwah di dalam situasi pandemi seperti ini, tetapi di dalam data tersebut menunjukan bahwa problematika yang terjadi tidak menjadi penghalang dalam keeksistensian dakwah di tengah pandemi covid-19.

This study aims to describe the values of character education contained in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the research is the speech or dialogue that comes from the actors in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir which was quoted from the Kompas newspaper published on March 2012. The data that was the target of the study were obtained using listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the study show that the values of character education include honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, curiosity, friendly/communicative, social care, responsibility, and religion. This is evidenced by the speech or dialogue that describes the figure of a man named Upta who grows and develops in living his freedom in living together with other people. It is illustrated that Upta respects differences in religion, ethnicity, ethnicity, opinions, attitudes and actions of people who are different from himself. Upta is described as a man who works hard and is responsible for his family

Character education is increasingly considered important in today's era because of the spread of technology that contains less educational sites and behaviors that can blind the minds of teenagers and school children. Through the activities of the Movement for Artists to Enter School, character education will be cultivated for elementary school students to become moral and cultured individuals.This study aims to identify the application of student character education through the Artists Entrance Movement for students of SD Negeri 5 Namlea. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data sources in this study were 24 students who joined the GSMS at SD Negeri 5 Namlea. Data were collected using observation methods with participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentary studies, literature studies. The results showed that there were fifteen forms of character education that were applied in the activities of the Artist Movement for Schools at SD Negeri 5 Namlea, namely 1) loving the country; 2) care for the environment; 3) social care; 4) fond of reading; 5) honest; 6) tolerance; 7) discipline; 8) democratic; 9) friendly; 10) peace-loving; 11) reward achievement; 12) independent; 13) creative; 14) love culture attitude; 15) hard work.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education for Drama course. It is a qualitative descriptive  study.  The  data  were obtained from the play entitled Opera Kecoa¸ written by N.Riantiarno. by looking at the settings, the characters, the plots and some relevant documents. The technique used to collect the data was by document analysis technique. As one form of literary work, Opera Kecoa drama script contains character education values. The values of character education in this drama script are shown through characterizations and events in each chapter. Based on the results of the analysis found ten character education values contained in the drama  Opera Kecoa, these values include: social care, tolerance, hard work, discipline, peace,patriotism, friendly, independent, creative, and responsibility. By reason of the values of these characters, the Opera Kecoa drama script can be used as a medium of learning in the college literature.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada sebuah naskah drama. Penelitian  ini menggunakan metode deskriptif  kualitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah naskah drama Opera Kecoa karya N.Riantiarno. Sumber data diperoleh dari tempat dan peristiwa, informan, naskah drama, dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Sebagai salah satu bentuk karya sastra, naskah drama Opera Kecoa memuat nilai-nilai  pendidikan  karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah drama  ini ditampilkan melalui penokohan dan alur peristiwa pada setiap babaknya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka ditemukan sepuluh nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Opera Kecoa, nilai-nilai tersebut antara lain: peduli sosial, toleransi, kerja keras, disiplin, cinta damai, cinta tanah air, bersahabat, mandiri, kreatif, dan tanggung jawab. Dengan alasan adanya nilai-nilai karakter tersebut maka naskah drama Opera Kecoa dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran sastra di perguruan tinggi.

This study aims to determine the implementation of boarding school programs in the formation of student characters in State Senior High School of Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School Pandeglang Banten. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The research data was collected with several techniques, such as observation, interview, and documentation. Triangulation technique is done by means of triangulation method, that is by checking the information result of interview with documentation and observation. The results of the discussion of the implementation of boarding school programs in the formation of student characters include: There is guidance of character education that appear in State Senior High School of Cahaya Madani Banten Boarding School Pandeglang Banten include: 1) Religious, attitude, and behavior; 2) Discipline, actions that demonstrate orderly conduct and abide by various rules and regulations. 3) Honest behavior based on an attempt to make himself or herself a person who can always be trusted in words, actions, and work. 4) Mandiri, 5) Responsibility of the attitude and behavior of a person to carry out his duties and obligations, which he should do, to oneself, society, environment (nature, social and culture), state, and god almighty. The Gospel of Matthew is a part of the new covenant the presents the great commission of the Jesus. The great commission is the command of the Lord Jesus to the disciples and to all believers in all ages. The great commission becomes the foundation in carrying out educational actions for the world in which Jesus has provided instructions, methods and ways of implementing them. The great commission becomes the foundation of education especially Christian religious education. This paper aims to analyze theologically the objectives of Christian religious education based on Matthew 28: 19-20. In an effort to trace the intention used qualitative-descriptive research methods. The results obtained that the purpose of PAK based on Matthew 28: 19-20's exposure is to make disciples of all nations, baptize and teach them to do all the commands of the Jesus. Injl Matius merupakan salah satu bagian kitab perjanjian baru yang menyajikan amanat agung Tuhan Yesus. Amanat agung ialah perintah Tuhan Yesus bagi para murid dan kepada semua orang percaya di segala zaman. Amanat agung menjadi landasan dalam melaksanakan tindakan pendidikan bagi dunia yang di dalamnya Yesus telah memberikan petunjuk, metode dan cara pelaksanaannya. Amanat agung menjadi landasan  pendidikan khususnya pendidikan agama Kristen (PAK). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalasis secara teologis tujuan pendidikan agama kristen (PAK) berdasarkan Matius 28:19-20. Dalam upaya menelusuri maksud tersebut digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa tujuan PAK berdasarkan paparan Matius 28:19-20 ialah memuridkan segala bangsa, membaptis dan mengajar mereka melakukan segala perintah Tuhan Yesus.

<p><em>This research is a qualitative descriptive research aims to (1) describe and explain the structure of folklore of Purbalingga District, (2) to describe and explain the social care values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) describe and explain the relevance of folklore as the character buildingand teaching material in Junior High School. Data and information are collected through informants and documents. Data collection is done through observation, recording, interview, and document analysis. Research sample is determined by purposive sampling technique. Validation of data is done by triangulation. The results of this research are:</em></p><em>(1) the structure of folklore Purbalingga District, (2) social caring values contained in Purbalingga District folklore, (3) relevance of folklore as the character building and teaching material in Junior High School.</em>
