This study aimed to describe the farmers' community's solidarity and both inhibiting and it's supporting factors. The next goal is to reveal the positive values contained in solidarity that is carried out by the farmers' community in the Village of Wanareja. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, and the data analysis was carried out by conducting a reduction, presentation, and verification of the data. The conclusion is drawn after the data presentation. Solidarity among farmers is based on humanity and a sense of responsibility for the interests of living together, mutual cooperation, and helping each other as an implementation of solidarity. The solidarity becomes a social unit to form of unity because of the social bond among peasants. The gotong royong and help each other is becoming a tool to measure the success of farming, it means that the more mutual cooperation and help each other run optimally among farmers, the more yields of the farmer will get. The kinship, culture, and religion are the supporting factors of the peasant solidarity, on the other side, the modernization and economic conditions are the inhibiting factors for the development of the solidarity attitude among the farmers' community.

This study aimed to describe the social capital of the community in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 State Petapahan Jaya, Kampar District. With the reality of a heterogeneous population inhabited by self-employed trans-migrants consisting of Sundanese, Batak, Minang, Malay, and Javanese. Economically the village had developed significantly, especially since the opening of the Palm Oil plantation. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews and document use. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there were three elements of community social capital in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 Petapahan Jaya, Kampar Regency: (1) Social Networking, in the form of community participation and solidarity (2) Trust in the form of honesty and cooperation (3) The existence of norms that jointly owned.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk pendampingan sosial bagi orang yang lanjut usia di Desa Sidoluhur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Sidoluhur yang memiliki orang yang lanjut usia di lingkungan keluarganya dan lansia yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan. Tempat penelitian ini di Desa Sidoluhur. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendampingan sosial lanjut usia di Desa Sidoluhur yaitu pendampingan lanjut usia pada aspek sosial, kesehatan, ekonomi, dan spiritual. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masyarakat yang terdapat dalam proses pendampingan sosial lanjut usia yaitu saling menghormati dan menghargai; saling menjaga kerukunan; dan menjaga budaya gotong royong. Kata kunci : pendampingan, sosial, lanjut usia   AbstractThis study aims to describe the forms of social assistance for elderly people in Sidoluhur Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The informants in this study were the Sidoluhur Village community who had elderly people in their families and elderly who actively participated in the activities. The place of this research is in the village of Sidoluhur. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the elderly social assistance program in Sidoluhur Village was mentoring elderly people on social, health, economic, and spiritual aspects. The values of community local wisdom contained in the process of elderly social assistance are mutual respect and respect; maintain harmony; and maintain a mutual cooperation culture. Keywords : mentoring, social, elderly

Muslim-oriented tourism has raised international interest, leading to the need to deepen and expand current research into the long-defeated relationship between Islam and geographic tourism. Indonesia was among Muslim-dominated countries encouraging tourism and improving its capacity to host mainly Western visitors. This study explores the feasibility of developing ecological tourism in rural areas – one of Indonesia's leading destinations – about the possibility of building a tourism industry closer to the needs of Muslim customers and more compatible with Islamic beliefs. The study employed qualitative approach. Data analysis performed using an interactive approach which consist of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing. This study shows four potentialities for religious education visits: pilgrimage simulation route, Muslim swimming pools, prayer building, and archery venue. Meanwhile the inhibiting factors include accessibility, distance, alliances, and formal structures.  SWOT analysis resulted into four strategies that might be useful guideline for the local government in promoting the halal eco-tourism in the rural areas.

Aquaculture of Cage Culture is one of the main activities carried out by the community in the village of Haranggaol to fulfill their economic needs. This cultivation business establishes a relationship between traders and cages in terms of marketing their crops. There are 3 egocentric actors in the Haranggaol area. They are collectors (entrepreneurs/farmers who own capital), namely the Rohakinian group, the Siharo group, and the Paimaham group. Through these three egocentric actors, a social network is formed with several alters. Based on the qualitative approach with use Ucinet software, the mapping of their social networks can be seen as follows: alter actors connected to the Rohakinian group are 12 farmers in the group and 2 farmers outside the group with a density of 0.033. There are 27 alter actors connected to the Siharo group, 21 from the group and 6 from outside the group with a density of 0.014. There are 27 alter actors connected to the Paimaham group, namely 36 farmers from their groups and 10 farmers outside the group with a density of 0.005. The social networks that occur between these actors are intertwined due to the existence of kinship relationships, family or close friends who know each other among them. The relationship between family, family or close friends built with mutual trust make this network integrated.

The village Bokonusan is the location on the Semau Island and the district of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Norma and refers to the contructual obligations between members of society in accordance with the rules of the costums, trust that refer to expectation and goals together in building in accordance with the values of mutual cooperation of solidarity of the community. As for the porpouse of research to, give me a description of application of the local Dale Esa in the life together in the village Bokonusan, as well as explain the elements of what is contained in the wisdom of Dale Esa as social capital in communities Bokonusan village. The method used is a qualitatve and approach to the contructivism oh the research descriptive aksplanative. Interwoven ily tradition, a marriege, birth, death, a new garden work (teh management of the land) and conflic resolution. The application of valeu to keep in daily life as from of social interaction. In the wisdom of Dale Esa the cooperation between the community refers to social relationships between societies so that, the social network, the obligation, prohibition, the rigth have, between members of the community to help each other as a from social norm, the emergance of the hope and goals together to build together as result the trust.

This study aims to determine efforts to foster school dropouts at the Takalar District Social Service Office. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Indicators used as benchmarks in this study are accountability, transparency, participation, and the rule of law of the bureaucratic apparatus. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the application of the principles of Good Governance in the effort of developing school dropouts at the Takalar District Social Service Office show that governance at the Social Service Office is good enough

AbstrakNgarot merupakan upacara yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan masalah pertanian.Upacara ini terdapat di Desa Lelea, Kecamatan Lelea, Kabupaten Indramayu.Upacara ngarot diikuti oleh generasi muda dan berlangsung dari tahun ke tahun tanpa putus. Keikutsertaan generasi muda serta keberlangsungan upacara ini memunculkan pertanyaan apa yang menjadi tujuan upacara, seperti apa bentuk dari upacara ngarot, dan apa sesungguhnya fungsi dari upacara ngarot itu untuk generasi muda khususnya dan masyarakat Lelea pada umumnya. Sehubungan dengan pertanyaan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tujuan upacara, bentuk dari upacara ngarot, dan fungsi upacara itu bagi generasi muda khususnya dan masyarakat Lelea pada umumnya. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upacara ngarot menjadi wadah untuk mempersatukan pemuda Lelea, menjadi wadah untuk melekatkan rasa gotong royong antarpemuda Lelea, dan mengajarkan pemuda untuk hidup mandiri dengan mendayagunakan potensi desanya. Simpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian adalah bahwa upacara ini tidak lain sebagai sarana sosialisasi kepada generasi muda Lelea, agar mereka senantiasa dapat mencintai desanya. AbstractNgarot is a ritual that has been linked to farming problems. This ritual occurs in Lelea village, District of Lelea, Indramayu. Ngarot ceremony followed by the younger generation and continuosly lasts from a year to a year. The participation of the younger generation as well as the sustainability of this ceremony raises the question on what the purpose of the ceremony is, what Ngarot is, and what the real function of the Ngarot ceremony is for the younger generation in particular and Lelea society in general. In connection with these questions, this study aims to determine the purpose of the ceremony, the form and ritual of ngarot ceremony is for the younger generation, in particular and Lelea society, in general. It is descriptive study with the qualitative approach. The results showed that Ngarot ceremony of Lelea is a means to unite the Lelea youth, become a means to attach a sense of mutual cooperation among the Lelea youth, and teaches youth to be independent by empowering the potential of the village. The conclusion that can be drawn from the research is this ceremony was seen as a means of socialization to the younger generation of Lelea, so they can always love the village.

This study aims to determine the potential conflict between Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru after conflict resolution. The research was conducted in the village of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru, Sijunjung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to reveal how the existence of potential conflicts between the two regions today. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discusion) and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman which consisted of three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources. The results of the study showed: The potential for conflict is still stored in the nagari community of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru villages after conflict resolution.  Community leaders to the two parties in conflict have not shown their sincerity together to obey the revolution.   The resolution is only an agreement but to comply with it is far from the expectations of those in conflict.

ABSTRACTResearch about the Policy on the Use of Village Funds in Community Empowerment in Rantaupandan village, Rantaupandan district, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province, are aimed to find out how the implementation of village funds policy in community empowerment, inhibiting factors and efforts can be made so that the use of Village Funds in Rantaupandan village can reach aim. This Research uses the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn with qualitative descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study using triangulation techniques to test the validity of the data and perform data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This Research shows that the implementation of the Village Fund policy in community empowerment has not run optimally due to the problem of human resource competencies, the lack of community participation, and the lack of information delivery to the community regarding the implementation of the Village Fund policy.Keywords: policy, village fund, community empowerment

This study aims to determine the social and economic conditions in the Village Pandu Bunaken District Manado city. This research was carried out in Pandu Village, Bunaken District, Manado city for 3 months starting from Juny until August 2017 starting from preparation, taking data to preparing research report. Data collection methods in this study using primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained directly from the source by using questionnaires to 30 farmers respondents who domiciled the research area, while secondary data was obtained from institutions related to the research of the village government Pandu. The results showed that the socio-economic conditions and welfare of farmers in refugee housing belong to category of low level of welfare.
