Bandung is one of the creative cities in Java, especially West Java. Proven Bandung has a lot of local wisdom dug up from legendary stories, animal fable stories, culinary riches, and many more which later became interesting ideas into the concept of creating art. This local wealth is an important claim by artists who actively work. This research will reveal the expression of artists in paintings. They express their expression by bringing up the fable story of the archipelago. Archipelago fable story is processed, dug up and used as a source of inspiration to create works of art. The problems in this study are (1) What is the concept of a painting that was conceived from the fable story of the archipelago. (2) What is the visualization of the archipelago fable painting created by female artists ?. This research method is descriptive qualitative by examining the aesthetic aspects which include elements of the object, composition, color, harmonization. The media used in this painting is fabric. Samples of paintings, taken from works created by women from an exhibition held in Bandung. The coloring process with the colet technique. The color used is the dye for the fabric. The findings in the research are the concept of the work carried by artists visualizing animal stories that can be used as good moral examples. This exhibition is important because in addition to visual narration there is also a message delivered to the public. Whereas visually, many female artists use realistic objects, center composition, contrasting and attractive colors. The results of this study the concept of fable stories are brought back into an attractive visual narrative with colors that are presented in contrast with many techniques in coloring.

West Java is the province with the largest number of local television. The existence of broadcasting institutions should be submitted to the public by KPID West Java to fulfill the public's right. The media literacy socialization using Twitter to West Java people is done to to strengthen the existence of broadcasting institutions. The author uses a case study research method. The author has made a direct observation and recording systematically on the socialization of media literacy, the process of field observation during socialization, the programs undertaken to encourage media literacy movement during the research conducted the whole program which distributed to the community in KPID West Java Twitter. The function of Twitter's is to realize the media literacy program by aligning communication, transparency, KPID West Java activities information that have the ultimate goal to strengthen the public relations of viewers / listeners with KPID West Java. Keywords: KPID West Java, Media Literacy, Twitter

DPK Gunungkidul offers local content services in the form of Karst Rocks. Information about the topography of karst rocks needs to be preserved because it represents the Gunung Kidul Region. This study aims to determine how the Karst Rock services and how the information dissemination carried out by the Gunung Kidul DPK to the community. This research method uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The results showed that the Karst Rocks in the Gunung Kidul DPK were served closed and placed on special racks. The provision of Karst rocks is compiled from research studies in collaboration with external parties. DPK Gunung Kidul provides information to the public about Karst Rocks through information dissemination activities. The process of disseminating information begins with collecting information from the results of research (scientists/researchers) and channeled through the media directly or indirectly so that it can be accepted by users. This activity is carried out to improve the scientific repertoire for the community and form of preservation of karst rock information.

Pesan dakwah dapat disampaikan melalui media termasuk instagram. Trend  tersebut memiliki dua sisi seperti pisau bermata ganda (tantangan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyajian pesan dakwah dalam media sosial instagram. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui bentuk penyajian pesan dakwah dalam instagram dan mencari tahu kelebihan dan kekurangan penyajian pesan dakwah dalam media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya, melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari dua puluh unggahan yang diteliti, terdapat tiga unggahan yang termasuk bentuk penyajian pesan dakwah informatif, empatbelas unggahan yang termasuk persuasif, dan tiga unggahan yang termasuk koersif. Kelebihan penyajian pesan dakwah pada akun instagram ini ialah menyampaikan pesan dalam bahasa singkat dan mudah dipahami pembaca. Dan kekurangannya, yaitu penjelasan yang kurang lengkap dan singkat. Kelebihan dan kekurangannya ini juga memberikan dampak pada pemahaman  pembacanya. Da'wah messages can be conveyed through the media including Instagram. The trend has two sides like a double-edged knife (a challenge). This study aims to determine the presentation of preaching messages on social media Instagram. The purpose of this study is to find out the form of preaching messages on Instagram and find out the advantages and disadvantages of preaching messages in social media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques, through observation and documentation. The results showed that of the twenty uploads examined, there were three uploads that included informative preaching messages, fourteen uploads that were persuasive, and three uploads which were coercive. The advantage of presenting da'wah messages on this Instagram account is that it conveys messages in short and easily understood language. And the shortcomings, namely an incomplete and concise explanation. These strengths and weaknesses also have an impact on the reader's understanding.

Libraries have used media development as part of the culture to influence people to use the library. An example of the use of media as a means of mediation is the PerpuSeru program. Previously, this program partnered with 34 libraries, but currently, the PerpuSeru program has partnered with more than 400 libraries and reading parks in Indonesia. One of the media used in transferring information is Instagram; PerpuSeru has an Instagram account namely @perpuseru in which various information about the PerpuSeru program is available and the extent to which the program is running. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the followers’ perceptions in receiving information provided on the @ perpuseru Instagram by decoding-encoding theory, to examine the extent this theory developed in a media in the present era, and the role the theory played in the media. This study used the descriptive qualitative research method by interviewing some followers of the @perpuseru account. The result found two different views from followers, namely followers with a hegemonic dominant point of view who accepted all the content of information conveyed, and others with a negative perspective who had other considerations in receiving information on the posts of @perpuseru account. However, there were no followers with optional viewpoints. It can be concluded that the two perspectives of @perpuseru Instagram followers are the hegemonic and negative perspective.

The study consists of two parts. In the first one, the author outlines a methodological concept of researching the quality of compositional and artistic spatial systems that are created, for example, in the urban environment with the participation of, inter alia, architectural objects and works of art. The subject of this type of research was called a ‘compositional situation’. In the second part, the author uses the proposed research method to analyze specific cases. These are two situations existing in the public spaces of Mexico City, in which sculptures of famous Mexican sculptor Sebastian were located.

This study aims to reveal the role of the media in disseminating information regarding the cancellation of the departure of pilgrims from the critical discourse dimensions. Therefore, this research method uses Critical Discourse Analysis from Norman Fairclough. The results of this study indicate that the role of the media in the cancellation policy of Hajj pilgrims in 2021 consists of three essential things. First, the media sided with the news content about the cancellation of the hajj based on norms by the law and various derivative regulations. Second, the mainstream media group has its concept in understanding how to disseminate the information so that it can become a public discourse and understand the public after being back on the mainstream media stage. Third, the media behaves like a ‘pendulum’ that can go back and forth to contribute to "orchestrating" the public discourse in this context regarding the cancellation of the departure of the pilgrims.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peranan media dalam menyebarluaskan informasi mengenai pembatalan keberangkatan jamaah haji dilihat dari dimensi-dimensi wacana kritis. Oleh karena itu metode penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Wacana Kritis dari Norman Fairclough. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan media dalam kebijakan pembatalan jemaah haji tahun 2021 terdiri dari tiga hal penting. Pertama, media berpihak pada konten pemberitaan tentang pembatalan haji berdasarkan pada norma yang sesuai dengan undang-undang dan berbagai peraturan turunannya. Kedua, kelompok media arus utama memiliki konsep tersendiri dalam memahami cara menyebarluaskan informasi sehingga dapat menjadi wacana publik, namun sekaligus dapat memahamkan publik setelah kembali dimainkan di panggung media arus utama. Ketiga, media berperilaku sebagai bandul pendulum yang dapat bolak-balik berkontribusi dalam “mengorkestrakan” wacana publik dalam konteks ini tentang pembatalan pemberangkatan jemaah haji.

<p>This study aims to determine the methods and materials in delivering da'wah</p><p>used by da'i in Central Aceh Regency during the corona period. The pandemic</p><p>period has been running for approximately two years, which has changed all</p><p>lines of life from normal life. This makes the da'i must have the skills and</p><p>abilities in choosing the media and materials to be delivered to their mad'u.</p><p>Da'wah still has to be carried out but with a different method compared to</p><p>normal times. The key informants in this research are preachers who are in the</p><p>Central Aceh region. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative</p><p>method and the findings of this study are that the material presented by a</p><p>preacher must cover the fields of economics, psychology, and encourage the</p><p>public to always comply with government recommendations to always maintain</p><p>health protocols to prevent the spread of the corona virus.</p>

This study aims to introduce Ony Pottery to consumers with a brand campaign and the use of social media as a promotional media. Ony Pottery is a ceramic brand based in Surabaya. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were consumers and followers of Ony Pottery on social media. The use of social media as a promotional medium is the right thing in this Covid19 pandemic. Ony Pottery's brand value is still conveyed to consumers through social media. Modernism is a design style raised by Ony Pottery in terms of products, social media to promotional strategies. Digital da'wah is a new demand and trend currently, because public especially the younger generation search religious knowledge through new media. Podcasts are one of the most popular new media because flexible and can be accessed on various platforms. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges, and Podcast strategy model as an effective digital da'wah media. The research method is library research to analyze various literature with in-depth analysis to answer the research problems. The results showed that Podcast is an effective digital da'wah media because it can transform religious knowledge to the public; can be collaborated with other media; alternative media to disseminate audio content individually or institutionally; can be accessed safely and comfortably. The strategies to manage digital da'wah through Podcasts are identify characteristics of the da'wah object, create an interesting message of preaching, use the appropriate da'wah methods, and use the media according to the target.

The business competition faced by companies today is getting tighter, so it requires company management to be attentive in determining its competitive strategy. Advertising is tot only to promote a product, but also included a lot of social messages in it. Advertisements often use symbols or signs in describing their products. The messages in advertisements are in the form of text and visuals. This study aims to analyze the Sign, Object, Interpretant as well as the message and meaning in the Gojek advertisement version of “Pesan dari Rumah Buat Kita yang di Jalan”. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach; this study uses the semiotic analysis method of the Charles Sander Pierce model. The results of the study show that the Gojek advertisement version of "Pesan dari Rumah Buat Kita yang di Jalan" invites the public to become people who continue to comply with health and savety protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This advertisement is also a branding for Gojek as a safe community travel partner and always adheres to the health protocol recommendations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
