High-quality sowing is not only a uniform distribution of seeds along the length of the row, but also their seeding at a given depth, which allows getting a high-quality crop of grains. This is achieved by using an ordinary method of grain crops sowing using double-disc coulters, which place seeds in the furrow allowing direct contact of the seeds with the soil. Seeders with such working bodies are used in both traditional and minimal technologies for the cultivation of grain crops. The article presents the results of theoretical studies of an experimental coulter with a seed deflector, a closed-type soil cultivator and a furrow press wheel with a rubber mass tire. The dependences for finding the impact coefficient of sliding friction, as well as the dependence of the speed of the wheel center and seed after impact are determined. The article is devoted to the task of improving the quality indicators of sowing seeds of grain crops by a seeder with the experimental coulter and contains the results of a theoretical study of the design and operating parameters of the coulter with a seed deflector, a closed-type soil disrupturer and a furrow press wheel with a rubber mass tire.

The article discusses the features of the process of interaction of the blades of the teeth of the disk working body with the cultivated soil. If we take into account the fact that the parameters of the intensity of the impact exerted on the soil by the toothed working body will depend on the speed of movement, it will be possible to determine the values of the speed of an arbitrary point of the blade of the teeth. As a result of mathematical transformations and the application of the method of differentiation of the equation of their displacement, a formula was obtained for calculating the cutting speed for an arbitrary point of the blade of the teeth of a disk working body. Also, the acceleration of the points under consideration is determined and the dependences obtained as a result of theoretical studies are analyzed. The dependences demonstrate that the parameters of the impact speed and the trajectory of the blade movement directly depend on the shape of the cutting edge. They are also influenced by the angle of attack, the value of the inclination in relation to the vertical, as well as the speed of the planter movement. After analyzing the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a noticeable decrease in the throwing of the upper soil layer to the side and the removal of the lower layer to the open surface of the field when exposed to a disk working body with teeth around the perimeter.

Abstract. The author proves that organic fertilizers, unlike the mineral ones, are capable of increasing yields over several years; they do not harm the environment and do not pollute the melon crop fields with nitrates. It has been clarified that their introduction is one of the most effective methods of humus conservation and soil fertility enhancement, which means obtaining fuller yields of high-quality melons and gourds. The NIIMESH researchers have developed a combined unit for local application of organic fertilizers for melons and gourds. (Research purpose) Conducting theoretical studies on the substantiation of the configuration of the working tools of a combined unit for local application of organic fertilizers. (Materials and methods) The author has conducted theoretical studies using methods of analytical geometry and theoretical mechanics. (Results and discussion) Analytical dependences have been obtained to determine transverse distances between furrow shapers used for applying organic fertilizers and making an irrigation groove, as well as longitudinal distances between the tractor's rear wheels and the furrow shapers applying organic fertilizers, between the furrow shapers and the fertilizer spreader, and between the fertilizer spreader and the furrow shaper making an irrigation furrow. (Conclusions) It has been determined that transverse distance between the working tools that make furrows for applying organic fertilizers should range between 0.9 and 1.3 metre, transverse distance between the working tools making an irrigation furrow and a furrow for the application of organic fertilizers is 0.45-0.65 metre. The optimal values of longitudinal distances have been found as well: between the tractor's rear wheels and the working tools making furrows for applying fertilizers – no less than 0.21 metre, between the tip of working tools and the fertilizer spreader – no less than 1.5 metre, and between the fertilizer spreader center and the tip of working tools making an irrigation furrow – at least 0.74 metre.

The work presents a tillage machine with vibrational electronic elements mounted on the working bodies, which allow reciprocal oscillating movements of the chisel bit and duckfoot shovels. Theoretical studies of the dependence of traction resistance reduction of a tillage machine on the influence of oscillations of the working bodies on the soil and on the unit’s speed. The oscillating movements of the working bodies will improve the quality of the main processing of heavy soils in gardens, reduce the energy intensity of a given process and increase productivity by increasing the unit’s speed.

This paper briefly and through theoretical studies will discuss simply the problems formulated, the impact of globalization on Character education in Indonesia, as well as the paradigm of PKN learning and Character education challenges for the younger generation. It is on the ground by the declining awareness and moral values, as well as to increase the values of the characters seen in the young generations. Civic education in Indonesia has been running throughout the history of Indonesian independence, and has gone through various stages and arms, it certainly demands greater hard work of teachers to be able to increase the values of Pancasila and love of the homeland, and practice the character values which is based on the noble values of Indonesian culture into Indonesian youth.

One of efficiency indicators of grain grinders is grain granulometric composition. The basis of mixed fodder is crushed grain, the particles of which must have a leveled granulometric composition for subsequent mixing and obtaining a high-quality feed mixture. In agricultural production, hammer crushers are widely used, in which the destruction of grain occurs due to the impact of a hinged hammer. The main disadvantage of these crushers is that not the entire surface of the hammers is involved in grinding, thus reduces grinding process efficiency. A slightly different principle of material destruction is laid down in the basis of the proposed design of the shock-centrifugal grinder. Main work is performed by flat impact elements located on the rotor, which serve to accelerate crushed particles with subsequent impact of them on the bump elements. An important step in the design of new constructions of shock-centrifugal grinders is to determine size and location of the impact elements on the rotor, without which the grinding process is not possible. In the calculation method presented, the dependencies for determining the velocities and angles of a single particle flight from the surface of a flat impact element for its specified dimensions are proposed. Two variants of an impact element location on the rotor are considered and analyzed: radial and at an angle in the direction of rotor rotation. As a result of research carried out, it is noted that in the case of inclined position of an impact element on the rotor an increase in flight speed and flight angles change in crushed particles, which gives the opportunity to have a positive effect on grinding process.

In this paper we consider the structural and technological process of the combine used in the process of separate harvesting of grain crops, as well as a number of its parameters. Among the main units of the combine, we allocate a conveyor and devices for removing beveled stems from under the wheels of the vehicle. The principle of operation of the conveyor at different phases of the Reaper and especially the removal of cut stems from under the wheels of the vehicle during operation of the Reaper. The results of theoretical studies on the establishment of the optimal design of the parameters of the belt conveyor are presented, the ranges of their optimal values are considered and determined. Studies on the establishment of optimal parameters of the screw divider in the Reaper, which is the main component of the device for removal of beveled stems, are presented. Taking into account the optimal design and mode of operation of the screw divider, the correct work is provided to remove the cut stems from under the wheels of the harvester.

Abstract: Scholarly publishing and access to high-quality information may in fact be threatened, rather than improved, by the revolution in communications, particularly in a fully commercial Internet. The effects of the political revolution in Eastern Europe on scholarship and quality publishing are used as a touchstone of the dangers that occur when naïve revolutionaries make swift changes without fully recognizing the impact upon delicately balanced social institutions such as non-profit organizations.

SUMMARY We insert an automated high-quality (HQ) auditor into established experimental audit markets to test the impact of high-quality competition on other auditors' supply of and managers' demand for audit quality. Theory predicts that managers will demand high levels of audit quality to avoid investors' price-protecting behavior. This demand should result in the HQ auditor dominating the market and increase other auditors' audit quality provision to compete with the HQ auditor. However, we find that the HQ auditor does not dominate the market—despite holding audit costs constant and investors placing a premium on HQ auditor reports. We also find that adding an HQ auditor results in other auditors lowering audit quality. Additional analyses indicate some managers demand lower audit quality to avoid negative audit reports, consistent with loss aversion as a potential explanation. Our findings indicate a need to develop a more comprehensive theory of the demand for auditing. Quality of plum jerkum is significantly associated to the profile of volatile compounds. Therefore, we decided to assess the impact of various fermentation types on selected properties of plum jerkums, especially compounds which contribute to the aroma of the finished product. We used the following yeast strains: S. cerevisiae S1, H. uvarum H2, and Ethanol RED (S. cerevisiae). Moreover, we considered spontaneous fermentation. S. cerevisiae and H. uvarum strains were isolated during the fermentation of Čačanska Lepotica or Węgierka Dąbrowicka (plum cultivars), respectively. As for fermentation type, spontaneous fermentation of H. uvarum H2 provided the best results. It could be associated to the fact that plum juices fermented with H. uvarum H2 presented the highest concentration of terpenoids, esters, or some higher alcohols. In the current paper, application of indigenous strains of yeasts resulted in the required oenological characteristics, e.g., highest fermentation efficiency and concentration of ethanol was determined in juices fermented with Ethanol RED (S. cerevisiae) and also with S. cerevisiae S1. Our results suggested that indigenous strains of yeasts present in plums demonstrate great potential for the production of plum jerkums of high quality.
