Perkembangan TIK, Globalisasi dan Peranan Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Pengembangan Pendidikan Karakter

This paper briefly and through theoretical studies will discuss simply the problems formulated, the impact of globalization on Character education in Indonesia, as well as the paradigm of PKN learning and Character education challenges for the younger generation. It is on the ground by the declining awareness and moral values, as well as to increase the values of the characters seen in the young generations. Civic education in Indonesia has been running throughout the history of Indonesian independence, and has gone through various stages and arms, it certainly demands greater hard work of teachers to be able to increase the values of Pancasila and love of the homeland, and practice the character values which is based on the noble values of Indonesian culture into Indonesian youth.

Important hard work characters are taught for the younger generation today so that researchers are interested in describing and explaining the values of character education in hard work in Ulid's novel by Mahfud Ikhwan. This novel tells the story of the struggle of poor families to send their eldest children from kindergarten to high school with various struggles and hard work in his life. The actions that the characters to bring out the character values of hard work that are proven through the attitude and every dialogue of the characters. This study included descriptive qualitative with note-taking techniques and literature studies. The results of data analysis of hard work character values are known to 9 frequencies, including unyielding characters, passionate characters, active working characters, earnest characters, the full character of confidence in acting, the full character of the struggle for life, independent practice character, cooperative character, and characters fight together.

Folklore is a story that originated in society and developed in society in the past which played an important role in the development of children's character learning in the form of moral values. The purpose of this study was to explain the moral values contained in folklore to improve character education. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design. Where all the data collected is based on books and other supporting document data. From the discussion of the Timun Mas folklore, there are eight prominent moral values, namely religious values, independent values, curiosity values, hard work values, responsibility values, honesty values, creativity, the value of the spirit of hard work. And from the research results, it can be concluded that the folklore of Timun Mas has many moral values that can be applied in the world of Education to shape character.

ABSTRACTThis research is to create an animation as a vehicle for relief from animal stories, especially goats and elephants in Sojiwan Temple to be applied as character education for children. The animation model based on the reliefs of animal stories at Sojiwan Temple is useful for reviving story reliefs that are not recognized by children as local wisdom of the nation's culture. By transforming animal story reliefs into animation, it is hoped that the message of character education can be disseminated to the younger generation.Methods of creation and presentation: (1) exploration of ideas and ideas for creating animated creations based on relief of animal stories; (2) designing a model to find an animation design with a transfer approach; and (3) presenting the results of creating animated characters to facilitate the delivery of character education messages for children to strengthen the character of the younger generation. The results of this study indicate that 1) the reliefs of Sojiwan Temple are mostly in the form of potential animals to be used as references for animation creations and are loaded with good moral values for children's education; 2) the design of the animated characters of Gaga and Bingo, which originates from the form of an elephant and a goat, looks its uniqueness. Keywords: vehicle transfer, animal relief, animation, character, Sojiwan.  ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk menciptakan animasi sebagai alih wahana dari relief cerita binatang khususnya kambing dan gajah di Candi Sojiwan untuk diterapkan sebagai pendidikan budi pekerti bagi anak. Model animasi berbasis relief cerita binatang di Candi Sojiwan bermanfaat untuk menghidupkan kembali relief cerita yang sudah tidak dikenali oleh anak-anak sebagai kearifan lokal budaya bangsa. Dengan mengalihwahanakan relief cerita binatang ke dalam bentuk animasi maka pesan pendidikan budi pekerti diharapkan dapat didesiminasikan kepada generasi muda.Metode penciptaan dan penyajian: (1) eksplorasi ide dan gagasan untuk penciptaan kreasi animasi berbasis relief cerita binatang; (2) perancangan model untuk menemukan desain animasi dengan pendekatan alihwahana; dan (3) penyajian hasil penciptaan karakter animasi guna mempermudah penyampaian pesan pendidikan budi pekerti bagi anak untuk memperkuat karakter generasi muda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) relief Candi Sojiwan yang mayoritas berbentuk binatang potensial untuk dijadikan referensi bagi kreasi animasi dan sarat dengan nilai moral yang bagus untuk edukasi anak-anak; 2) desain karakter animasi tokoh Gaga dan Bingo yang bersumber dari bentuk gajah dan kambing tampak kekhasannya. Kata kunci: alih wahana, relief binatang, animasi, budi pekerti, Sojiwan.

Tujuan tulisan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam meminimalisir terjadinya bencana sosial. Dalam perjalanan panjang sejarah bangsa Indonesia, diuraikan secara jelas bahwa negara Indonesia dibangun atas adanya perbedaan suku bangsa, budaya, adat istiadat dan agama. Keberagaman ini rentan untuk terjadinya bencana sosial. Ketegangan sosial dan konflik horisontal serta teror masih acapkali terjadi. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan nilai dan karakter Pancasila menyiapkan generasi muda menjadi warga negara Pancasilais yang cinta tanah air, mempunyai sikap untuk membela negara dan siap berkorban demi keutuhan bangsa dan negara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif terhadap realitas yang ada dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan kebenaran ilmiah yang alamiah dengan melakukan penafsiran terhadap fenomena sosial dalam bentuk studi literatur. Dari hasil kajian literatur didapat bahwa revitalisasi epistemologis Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dapat menguatkan karakter bangsa untuk meminimalisir terjadinya bencana sosial.This paper is intended to find out how is the role of Civic Education in minimizing the social disasters. In the history of Indonesia’s struggle, it is clearly explained that the state of Indonesia is built on the differences in ethnicity, culture, customs and religion. This diversity is vulnerable to social disasters. Terror, social tensions and horizontal conflicts among groups or communities still occur frequently. Civic Education as character education based on Pancasila values prepares young generation to become Pancasilais citizens who love the motherland, have attitudes to defend the country and are ready to sacrifice for the integrity of the nation and state of Indonesia. The research method used is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive towards the existing reality with the purpose of obtaining natural scientific truths by interpreting social phenomenon in the form of literature review. From the results of the literature study it was found that the epistemological revitalization of Civic Education can strengthen the nation's character in order to minimize the social disasters.

The implementation of character education in Ma'had which is full of noble values in its existence has succeeded in shaping the attitudes and behavior of santriwan and santriwati which are expected to have good character, through the application of a distinctive teacher strategy capable of realizing religious human resources. Ma'had Tahfidz Kampung Qur'an is a non-formal institution that pays attention to strengthening character education, especially religious values, honesty, discipline, and hard work. It is hoped that this value will become an icon that can become a foothold for value transfer so that the vision and mission which is expected to be able to create religious human resources and always interact with the Koran towards the person of Insan Kamil. This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach and descriptive methods. Data collected through observation, interviews, and document study. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, examination of conclusions and verification. The results of this study are (1) the teacher's strategy in integrating character values for students and students in ma'had (2) the impact of character values for students and students in ma'had through religious, honesty, discipline, and working, (3) Supporting factors and inhibiting Character values for santriwan and santriwati through religion, honesty, discipline, and hard work.

Character education is the action and attitude of a person who reflects anything with good value. These values can be identified in his daily activities. Therefore, character education is considered very important as an effort to help someone to perceive or to understand and to act based on ethical or moral values. This purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of character education in senior high schools (SMA) in Ujungbatu, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province based on sex (male and female) differences. In order to answer the problems in the study, descriptive qualitative approach study is designed by using several methods namely interview, observation and documentation. The samples of the study were 339 students from three different high schools; they are SMA 1, SMA 2 and SMA Muhammadiyah. Finding of the study revealed that the four character education value, namely devotion, hard work, discipline, and honesty could be applied to both male and female Muslim and Christian students, and this is to indicate that these character values can be applied to the students. Finally, this character education method applies to students, especially in high school.

The article provides an analysis of various studies conducted in the sphere of Yakut mentality within the framework of psychology and related sciences. The history of the study of Yakut mentality is divided into three periods, i.e. pre-revolutionary, Soviet, and Russian, which demonstrate a strong historical continuity. The first pre-revolutionary studies of Yakut mentality were purely ethnographic and benefited from numerous political exiles. The ethnographic essays of that period featured the structure and characteristics of the Yakut family and the attitude to the surrounding social and natural world, as well as spiritual and moral values. During the Soviet period, sociological studies of migration processes and interethnic perception became more relevant. Pre-revolutionary and soviet studies became the basis for further research in philosophy, pedagogy, and psychology after the collapse of the USSR. Modern studies revealed a change in Yakut mentality under the impact of historical and social events. In spite of these changes, the following features of traditional Yakut mentality have survived: respect for nature, an expanded understanding of the family concept, gender-role features, and inter-ethnic tolerance. However, the ethnic identity of the Chukchi, the Evens and the Evenks has changed.

The designof research studies are exploratif with data sources in the form of documents such as books andexpert opinions about character education, civic education content standards in 2006 about SKand KD Civics SD. The instrument used to collect the data that is documentation. Based on theanalysis results of the study showed that (1) values corresponding characters integrated into theelementary civics subjects, namely: social Caring, intelligent, patriotic, democratic, disciplined,honest, hard work, reward achievement, caring environment, curiosity, national spirit,responsibility, and tolerance, (2) integration of the device into the character value ofelementary civics lesson is done by understanding the substance of SK and KD. Cognitively,the concept of what is in SK and KD. Understand the concept and expected behavior in SK andKD to be key in the development of indicators. Of these indicators will become a reference indeveloping evaluation tools and teaching materials. Of teaching materials will guide inchoosing learning methods.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalampembelajaran PKn di SD, secara khusus bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi nilai-nilaikarakter yang sesuai diintegrasikan kedalam mata pelajaran PKn SD (2) mengintegrasikan nilaikarakter ke dalam pembelajaran PKn SD. Instrumen yangdigunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkanhasil penelitian yaitu (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang sesuai diintegrasikan ke dalam matapelajaran PKn SD, yaitu: Peduli sosial, cerdas, cinta tanah air, demokratis, disiplin, jujur, kerjakeras, menghargai prestasi, peduli lingkungan, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, tanggungjawab, dan toleransi; (2) Pengintegrasian nilai karakter kedalam perangkat pembelajaran PKnSD dilakukan dengan cara memahami substansi SK dan KD.Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, pendidikan kewarganegaraan di sekolah dasar

<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>This research aims to analyze the values and character building in “The Theory of Everything,” to identify the morality of the main character of “The Theory of Everything” 3) the method of value formation, and 4) the implications of using this film in character building and morality in children. This research is done by using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature-based approach. This research uses content analysis, which analyzes the content of dialogue, scene, and character according to the value of character education and morality of the main character. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that this film contains 1) the values and character building, such as religious, honesty, tolerance, hard work, creativity, independently, curiosity, nationalism, loving the country, respect for achievement, friendly or communicative, peaceful love, fond of reading, caring society dan responsibility. 2) the moral value of the main character, which is dominant, is as honest, independent, and hard work. 3) the method of value formation through dialogue and very inspirational scenes through the main characters; and 4) the implications of using this film in character building and morality in children is to build self-confidence and self-actualization.</p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong>character education; film analysis; moral values</p>
