In the presented study, the authors raise the question of the need to include in the educational process of a preschool institution to familiarize children with some philosophical categories. The educational system in which the child is included, starting from preschool childhood, provides him with the opportunity to gradually and continuously enter the knowledge of the world around him. It is in preschool childhood that the child is exposed to various relationships, values of culture and health, diverse patterns in the field of different knowledge. This contributes to a broader interaction of the preschooler with the world around him, which, in turn, ensures the assimilation not of disparate ideas about objects and phenomena, but their natural integration and interpenetration, which means understanding the integrity of the picture of the world. The authors prove the idea that the assimilation of philosophical categories by children contributes to the understanding of the structure of the surrounding world. The analysis of research is presented, proving that children's fiction in an understandable and accessible language, life examples and vivid images is able to explain to children the laws of the functioning of nature and society, as well as to reveal the world of human relations and feelings. Fiction surrounds the child from the first years of his life. It is she who contributes to the development of thinking and imagination, enriches the sensory world, provides role models and teaches you to find a way out in different situations. Philosophical categories such as "love and friendship", "beautiful and ugly", "good and evil" are represented in children's literature very widely, and the efficiency of mastering philosophical categories depends on the skill of an adult in conveying the content of a work, on correctly placed accents.

COVID-19 Pandemic has brought the world underwaters. All over the world, people were affected. The focus during this period was mostly on patients and frontline workers, with some attention also towards working adults. One cohort that has not gained much light during this pandemic is of housewives. Housewives had to manage household chores along with managing family relations – especially in India, where societal expectations lie on the female to provide family members with care and manage the household. Dealing with uncertainty, decreased availability of personal space, increased presence of and interaction with people in the household due to work from home scenarios, shifting to the online world and adapting to the change, economic disturbances, absence of domestic help, managing parental responsibility, increased stress about one’s own and family members’ health and lack of social interaction have contributed to their inconvenience. Existing evidence supports that housewives have been experiencing burnout in their homes. This qualitative study was conducted to see how the added pressure of COVID – 19 and social isolation has affected housewives mentally, leading to burnout. This narrative study includes participants of Indian origin, between the ages of 34 to 50 years. Participants were shortlisted on the basis of their scores obtained on the COVID-19 Burnout Scale, designed by Murat Yıldırım and Fatma Solmaz. The themes generated through this research study are related to understanding the impact of burnout on the mental health of housewives along the areas of physical health, financial well-being, digitization, uncertainty regarding COVID-19, parental responsibilities, social & emotional health, relationship management, and coping mechanisms. The findings of this study suggest that the mental health of housewives has significantly worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic due to constant exposure to certain stressors.

Today, in the era of globalization of modern society, it is important to create a favorable environment for the younger generation. The presence of fears in children at preschool age prevents favorable mental development. This paper reflects the results of a study to identify the prevailing fears in children in preschool age. According to the results of the conducted empirical research, it was revealed that there is a tendency to increase fears in children, due to individual characteristics and the present stresses, neuroticism in preschool children. The results show that preschool childhood is one of the most difficult periods, which is characterized by neurotic fears that cause a general deterioration of the child’s psychoemotional state. It is very important to register the emotional changes of a preschooler, since the lack of information about the occurrence and development of fears in children causes complex barriers in the child’s further development.

The development of coherent dialogical speech is most effectively carried out in preschool age, since this period is favorable for the development of the ability to master oral speech. However, this problem is not always given due attention within the framework of the educational process of preschool institutions, the work is carried out mainly in special classes on speech development. Besides, in various types of organized educational activities, there are great opportunities for teaching dialogue to children, one of which may be a workshop. The empirical part of the work was carried out on a sample of 50 children from the pre-primary education group, at the age of 6-7 years attending the preschool educational institution "Kindergarten No. 26" in the city of Kirov (Kirov region, Russian Federation). For diagnosing their level of dialogic speech development, the methodology for identifying the level of development of dialogical communication skills by M.M. Alekseeva, V.I. Yashina; diagnostics of dialogical speech development in preschool children by A.V. Chulkova. The statistical analysis was carried out through mathematical statistics – Pearson’s test. On the basis of the data obtained, it was concluded that productive activity is an effective means of developing the dialogical speech of senior preschool children; speech skills and abilities include the ability to make contact; the ability to make a request for information; replication; possession of speech etiquette; communication emotionality; the ability to compose a dialogue. The effectiveness of workshops as a means of developing the dialogical speech of 6-7-year-old children can be ensured by creating the following conditions: providing children with the opportunity to conduct dialogues at all technological stages of the workshop; implementation of various forms of organizing children’s joint activities; providing children with the opportunity to organize exhibitions, presentations and playing around hand-made crafts. In the process of applying the technology, the possibilities of each stage of developing children’s speech skills should be taken into account. According to the results of the experimental group χ2emp=31.922, which exceeds the critical value, therefore, the discrepancies between the distributions are statistically valid. The prospect of the study is to study the development of children’s communication skills during the workshop.

The current ecological state of the environment determines the relevance of environmental education for the younger generation. The problem of ecological upbringing of children of preschool age is considered in the researches of many scholars and teachers. Based on the study of scientific works, we identified three structural components of the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children: cognitive, activity and value-motivational. American scientists, studying the problem of children's attitude to nature, offer the concept of «biofilia» and «biophobia». The scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «pedagogical technology» are generalized and formulated as the creation of an optimally organized educational process, developed on the basis of a systematic approach and aimed at the planned result. It is proved that for the formation of natural and ecological competence of preschool children, it is necessary to use traditional and non-traditional pedagogical technologies in order to implement systematic and targeted educational impact on children, using current methods. Studying the peculiarities of the formation of the ecological and natural competence of preschool children, the necessity of creation and proper use of developing ecological environment in pre-school establishments, organization of children's activities in nature, as well as systematic work with children was clarified. The experience of using pedagogical technologies for the ecological upbringing of preschool children, in particular the creation of an ecological footprint, the technology of regional studies and tourism activities, the experimental research activity of preschoolers in nature and the technology of using the author's fairy tale, which allows raising the level of ecological upbringing of preschoolers and forming the natural and ecological competence of a preschool child, is briefly highlighted. The analysis of the experience of using environmental technologies from different countries proves that the main task of preschool education is to promote environmental education and awareness of preschool children.
