        Jasaboga in producing food must pay attention to the quality of food to improve food quality need to process food that is in accordance with the requirements of food sanitation hygiene. So the purpose of this study is to assess the application of food processing to catering in Simokerto Subdistrict where the components of food processing such as food processing, food processing, food equipment, and food handlers are then analyzed using SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats). The results of the SWOT analysis will produce a Food Processing Development Strategy for Catering.          This research is descriptive with research design using evaluation design with the aim of the results of this study used for improvement or improvement of activities / programs in catering. The location of the study was carried out in 3 catering in Surabaya Simokerto sub-district, using sampling techniques Total Sampling Technique. The research activity used an observation sheet to obtain data on the application of food processing at the catering district of Simokerto Surabaya.          Based on the results of the study, Food Processing catering in Simokerto Surabaya District in general is good and according to existing regulations such as Food Processing Places has a Good category of 78%, Food Processing has a Good category of 67%, Food Handlers have a Good category of 72% while Cookware has a sufficient category of 64% so that repairs need to be done. In improving catering food processing can be done by utilizing the strengths and opportunities that exist among them by conducting routine monitoring of the health center, counseling on food safety and food processing methods that are good and right, and for catering in Simokerto sub-district can implement the recommended development strategy to innovate on a variety of menus to increase consumer purchasing power, take advantage of technological advance as a media for promotion and register catering to health services to obtain Jasaboga sanitary hygiene certificates.Keywords: Food processing, SWOT Analysis and Food Processing development strategy

The pepper auction market in Sleman Regency was formed in 2017. This market is becoming the main marketing line for all pepper traders in Sleman Regency because it is serving appropriate prices for the farmer. Some problems also appeared during the implementation of the pepper auction market. This study aimed to arrange an effective strategy in developing a pepper auction market in Sleman Regency. This study conducted from January to February 2020 involving 23 major traders who chosen by the census method and 6 stakeholders who chosen by purposive sampling technique. SWOT analysis was applied to arrange an effective strategy in developing the pepper auction market. The result showed that the most effective strategy used in developing the pepper auction market was the SO-Strategy, such as: improving product quantity and quality, improving the quality of services and creating good relationships with the assembly point management party and auction participants, and building an online product and price database system. The auction market management parties and some stakeholders are required to regularly monitor and assure the market system in conducting a market auction process appropriately. We also suggested to use modern technology devices to assure the auction transparency.

Sumenep is one of the salt producers in Indonesia. The problem experienced by farmers is the production of salt using evaporation by solar energy that depends on the weather and the low price, caused by worse business management. Salt is a potential commodity, because its market is still wide open. This research aims to develop the salt production method and development strategy of salt business in Sumenep Regency by using SWOT analysis. The result of the analysis concludes that the priority of salt development business strategy in Sumenep Regency are: i) Geoisolator technology application strategy to produce good quality of salt; ii) cooperation strategy in group mechanism to build power and increasing the bargaining value of the farmers; iii) capital strengthening strategy through partner cooperatives; iv) broader marketing management management strategies to industrial salt user sectors.

The world market demand for fishery products is increasing even frequently not fulfilled. It required an effort to overcome the problems in fulfilling the demand for fishery products. Types of freshwater fish cultivated for balita fish at UD Suhada is a type of tilapia and goldfish. The purpose of this study is to examine the feasibility of balita fish agribusiness investment in UD Suhada; identify the internal and external factors that influence the development of agribusiness balita fish at UD Suhada; formulate and recommend appropriate alternative development strategies to be applied to agribusiness balita fish at UD Suhada in business development. Methods of data collection using purposive sampling method, is by deliberately selecting the sample to be studied as a respondent. Respondents were selected from the management and the workers UD Suhada. Financial analysis at 14 percent of interest rate and 5 years of project lifetime resulted in feasible decision with Rp1,105,005,110 of NPV; 4.85 of net B/C Ratio; 38.95 percent of IRR, 3 years and 5 month of PBP; and Rp1,522,035,876 or 32.725 kg of BEP. The combination of value IFE EFE values for 2.688 and 2.651 in the IE matrix shows that the position of the business in V (five) cells, that cell growth. Based on the SWOT analysis and QSPM analysis the strategic priorities is to create a diverse variety of products while maintaining the quality of balita fish, extending the range of distribution and marketing, in collaboration with researchers in developing the quality of balta fish products to face competition.Key words: balita fish, business feasibility, agribusiness, business development strategy

The purpose of the study is to: (1). Analyzing the attractiveness of Pasut Beach as one of the tourist destinations in Tabanan Regency. (2). Analyze the strategy of developing Pasut Beach as a tourist destination in Tabanan Regency. The research location was determined by purposive sampling Pasut Beach, located in Tibubiu Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan on the basis of having a very suitable potential to be developed into a tourist destination. The sample of the study was taken by 49 people consisting of elements from the Government, community leaders and tourism actors. This study uses qualitative qualitative analysis method (giving more detailed reviews and interpretations of the data obtained and SWOT analysis. Furthermore, in the SWOT method the External Strategy Factor Matrix (EFAS) model and the Internal Strategy Factor Matrix Model (IFAS) are used, followed by IFE matrix and EFE matrix to determine the weight, rating and score and to determine the strategy and position of the quadrant I - E matrix, Beach Pas po is in the position in quadrant I, with the S-O strategy where the values ​​of strength and opportunity are equally high ( use the power to get opportunities) by improving the quality of human resources, especially in the field of mastering technology, communication and information.

Thisdstudy originated from the resultsiofiprevious studies where there were problems regarding the process of managing the procurement of perishable goods that did not have written procedures, the quality requirements of the material written and standardized in the hotel. To continue the problem where there are still problems related to food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This study aims to analyze food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This type of studyiisiquantitativepdescriptive. The population in this study were guests who stayed and breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The totaliofisamplesiin this study amounted to 91 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) using the Liker scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Thenitheidata wereianalysisithrough data tabulation and descriptive data using percentages. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained that the quality of food at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang is in the category of enough with a percentage of 45.05%. Padang Bai tourist attraction has great potential in the field of marine tourism attractions, one of which is snorkeling and diving which are well known in foreign countries. In its development there are still various complaints from tourists that reduce the level of tourist satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of tourist satisfaction with Padang Bai tourist attraction from the dimensions of tourist attraction consisting of attractions, accessibility, facilities, ancillary service and the community. This research used quantitative method. Data collection used questionnaire with 21 indicators. 210 samples in this study were taken using a porpusive sampling technique. Data were tested using validity and reliability before being analyzed using the suitability level analysis. The results showed that the level of tourist satisfaction with the tourist attraction of Padang Bai based on the analysis of the suitability level that compares the overall score of expectations indicators with the reality of obtaining results with a suitability level score of 90% obtained the satisfaction category with a gap score (of -80). The indicator that must obtain priority improvement is the cleanliness of the Padang Bai coastal area with a gap value (gap of-365). Cleanliness of the accommodation (gap-210), condition of the facility (gap-163), beautiful underwater scenery such as coral and ornamental fish (gap-151). Overnight accommodation services with a gap value (of-134), diving tourism attractions with a gap (of - 126) and the last of the quality of food restaurants in Padang Bai with a gap value or a gap (of -119). It can be concluded that tourists are satisfied to be in Padang Bai, but the satisfaction is still not maximal and there are still improvements that must be done to improve the satisfaction of Bai Bai's attraction. The advice that can be conveyed is to always maintain the quality of the tourist attraction of Padang Bai, especially environmental cleanliness, as well as the services provided to tourists. The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. This work reviewed the state of the art concerning solar cookers and dryers used in food processing. The general description of solar cookers and dryers was presented, with a specific attention to the equipment where the cooking takes place with the contribution of the direct sunlight. Some insight about the history of design and development of devices that use solar light to process food were provided. The possibility to store the heat produced by solar light using Phase Change Materials was analyzed. Moreover, some “case-studies” were revised and discussed, in which solar light is efficiently used to dry or cook food, focusing on the quality of the food in terms of nutraceuticals content. The analyzed literature points out the necessity for further research about the effects produced by direct solar rays on different foods. The reliable data on this aspect will allow assessment of the quality of food transformation by solar cookers and dryers, adding a strong incentive to the development of such devices, up to now primarily motivated by energy-saving and environmental issues.

The coffee shop culinary services industry is now growing rapidly in urban areas such as Jakarta.  The purpose of this study is to determine the priority strategy for the development of the coffee shop business. The study was designed using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method which is also supported by IE Matrix and SWOT Analysis method. The data retrieval used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving customers, management, and staff as respondents. The results of this study, matrix IE shows that the company is in Quadrant II growing and developing which means J.CO Donuts &Coffee needs to focus on carrying out intensive strategies such as market penetration, market development, and product development. The result of QSPM is a strategy to improve the quality of human resources services, to correct the shortcomings of workers' skills. This strategy can be realized in the form of training or refreshment to take employees to more advanced coffee shops.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that play a role in the development of pempek quality favored by consumers and to study internal and external factors that influence the development of pempek processing industry and its implications for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as formulate alternative development strategies for Pempek industry.The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling with a sample area of 95 respondents consisting of 10 pempek processors (producers) and 85 consumers. Data processing is done by using factor analysis to know the dominant factor of pempek industry development. SWOT analysis is used to determine the development strategy of the pempek industry.The results showed that the factors that play an important role in the development of pempek industry are organoleptic factors consisting of taste, color, softness and aroma; Consumer prices, food hygiene and safety with regard to physical quality, chemical quality, shelf life and strategic location. Pempek industrial development strategy that must be done is by the application of practical and efficient technology, excellent products, hygiene and security, extension of marketing network through cooperation with marketing agents both at homeland and foreign countries, cooperation, restaurant, retail and supermarket, promotional strategy improved through Advertising, leaflets, radio, television, internet and publicity.
