This thesis discusses the relationship between the ability of memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim and the easeness of Arabic learning for female students at STIBA Makassar. The main objectives of this research were threefolds: 1. To understand the female students’ ability in memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim at STIBA Makassar, 2. To understand the processes of the Arabic learning and the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization activities of female students at STIBA Makassar, 3. To investigate the relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization ability and the easiness of Arabic learning for female students at STIBA Makassar. The researcher completed this study by using a qualitative descriptive method with a semi-quantitative approach. The data collection methods used in this research were personal interviews and accurate observations on the students’ learning process. The data of students’ academic assessments who were successful in one semester were collected and analysed. The quantitative data were also collected in this research from the answers of students through compatibility approach.  From this research, it was apparent that the methods used by the teachers and students in memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim was considered to be very good. In terms of the relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization and Arabic learning, 100% of teachers and 97.9% of female students at STIBA Makassar were in agreement that there is a strong and close relationship between the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization and Arabic learning. In this case, the Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorization could assist students to understand the Arabic language and context and to pronounce the Arabic words and letters contained in the verses of the Al-Qur'an al-kariim. Besides, the non-Arabic Al-Qur'an al-kariim memorizers are able to learn Arabic easily because by memorizing the Al-Qur'an al-kariim, a memorizer applies and practices various aspects that could better their Arabic such as the four language skills, the Arabic elements, and the contexts of religious lessons and understandings.

AbstractTo uncover the causes that give rise to a lack of student interest in participating in language activities. To uncover strategies to increase student interest in participating in language activities in Arabic Language Study Program Faculty of Education and Teaching in IAIN Bengkul5.In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods for this study by observation, interviews and documents. Language activities include teaching and learning activities every Wednesday, Weekly Arabic activities, vocabulary sharing activities, lectures, dramas. Lack of a clear curriculum led to the failure to achieve the objectives of this activity, the lack of relationship between teachers and students, the relationship between students and the students because many students does not make affect other students, the lack of discipline in the MLA, no media to learn.Key Word: Enthusiasm of students; Language activity; Teaching Arabic

In essence, the success of female students in the learning  in Gontor not only with intelligence possessed, but there are other factors that will influence this, that factor was the ability to speak Arabic. Arabic language skills is the ability of a person to has the ability to speak include: the ability of hearing, speech, reading, and writing skills are good and right. One of the parties responsible and plays an important role in instilling the ability to speak Arabic in ITTC Darussalam Gontor is master of class, because master of class is as representative headmaster and Director of KMI. Moreover, a new student class 1 KMI much needed next grade level This research is a qualitative descriptive field research, data collection techniques used are: 1) Interview, 2) Observation, and 3) Documentation. And to analyze the data, researchers use Miles and Huberman, namely: 1) Data Reduction, 2) Presentation of Data, and 3) Withdrawal Conclusion and Verivikasi Data. Therefore, the role and efforts master of class 1 in imparting language skills is required. From the analysis conducted, the researcher concludes that: 1) The role of the homeroom teacher in instilling the ability of the language is very important, and the role is: a) Motivate and teach students to be able to have language skills, b) Teaching Arabic with props and requires students to bring dictionary, c) Provide new vocabulary, d) Provide good example, e) Guarding to participate in the following language activities.

Indonesia is a country that has many regional languages. The diversity of regional languages is a characteristic of Indonesia. One of them is the Javanese language which is used by the Javanese people and has a variety of dialects. Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting research on the characteristics of the Javanese dialect of Blora in accordance with sociolinguistic studies that examines the relationship between language and its speaking community. This is similar to the writer aim to analysis the differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. The writer also analyzes the use of Javanese speech level used by the people of Blora. This is because there are still many people who do not know the geographical location of Blora City. In this study, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method and the data collection methods needed to analysis the data are simak method and cakap method. The analysis results showed that there are characteristics of the Blora dialect and there are differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. It can be concluded that the variations of the three dialects have different morphology, phonology, lexical and semantics. This is due to the diversity of dialect differences from the results of regional observations.

Dindang (nyanyian atau lagu) Unggat-Unggat Apung etnik Banjar adalah dindang yang mengiringi sebuah permainan tradisional anak-anak yang berfungsi sebagai hiburan di waktu berkumpul orang tua dengan anak-anaknya di rumah. Sastra lisan khususnya dindang anak Unggat-Unggat Apung etnik Banjar merupakan dindang yang mulai kehilangan penuturnya. Hal ini disebabkan minimnya pelestarian dindang ini dalam bentuk dokumentasi tertulis, serta sudah tidak dikenalnya dindang ini di kalangan anak-anak etnik Banjar. Dindang sebagai salah satu bagian dari representasi kehidupan manusia seringkali memuat unsur budaya dan lingkungan manusia. Adanya penuangan unsur ekologi dalam sastra lisan khususnya dindang anak Unggat-Unggat Apung etnik Banjar semakin memperkuat adanya hubungan yang erat antara etnik Banjar dengan alam. Metode deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini akan memberikan gambaran dalam bentuk kata-kata dan gambar yang mengacu pada tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 33 larik dindang anak Unggat-Unggat Apung etnik Banjar ditemukan unsur ekologi flora 3 kata, unsur ekologi fauna 4 kata, dan unsur ekologi budaya yang tergolong peralatan dan perlengkapan hidup etnik Banjar terdiri atas 4 kata. Kajian ekologi sastra dalam penelitian ini diterapkan sebagai upaya menggali hubungan antara sastra dan ekologi etnik Banjar sebagaimana tertuang dalam dindang anak Unggat-Unggat Apung etnik Banjar.Dindang (song) Unggat-Unggat Apung of the Banjar ethnic group is a song that accompany a traditional children's game that functions as entertainment when parents gather with their children at home. Oral literature, especially the Dindang children of Banjar ethnics, Banjar ethnic is a song that has lost its speakers, this is due to the lack of preservation of this song in the form of written documentation, and this song is unknown among the Banjar ethnic children. Dindang as one part of the representation of human life often includes elements of human culture and environment. The existence of the pouring of ecological elements in oral literature, especially the existence of a close relationship between ethnic Banjar with its nature which is reflected in the song. The qualitative descriptive method used in this study will provide an overview in the form of words and images that refer to the purpose of the study. The results of the study found that from 33 lines of Dindang Unggat-Unggit Apung, found three ecological elements of flora, four ecological elements of fauna, and cultural ecological elements belonging to Banjar ethnic equipment and life equipment consisting of 4 words. The study of literary ecology in this study was applied as an effort to explore the relationship between literature and ecology of the Banjar ethnicity as set in the song of Dindang Unggat-Unggit Apung.

Ketapang is a village in Limau sub-district, Tanggamus district, Lampung province, Indonesia, inhabited by Sundanese speakers. This condition contributes to the variation of Arabic pronunciation, causing irregularities or difficulties known as disturbances. Linguistic phenomenon as a form of language development, something important happens in Arabic. This research was to study phonological interference forms in Sundanese. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection methods through interviews, observations and hearing that comes to the speech of the Ketapang community. The results showed several changes in the phonological change phenomenon, namely phoneme changes and word changes. This study contributes to the knowledge of language development that occurs from phonological disorders in Sundanese to Arabic, thus providing a great deal of knowledge about Arabic linguistic studies.

Language reflects human conceptualization, human interpretation of the world. This paper aims to observe the relationship between the alay language and the alay speaker’s conceptualization/interpretation of the world. The data are taken from the written verbal interactions of  STAIN Kendari students, who are active on facebook. By using Sapir’s and Whorf’s hypothesis and qualitative descriptive method,  it  is  found that the alay language has close relationship with the alay speaker’s conceptualization/interpretation of the world. alay language style of writing which is randomized, does not have a system, is always abbreviated, and is only known by certain people, reflects the culture of indiscipline, instant, and short-sightedness.

Virtual photoshoot is a photography trend nowadays. Where virtual photoshoots are an alternative business activity for photographers in the midst of a social distancing policy due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method, and then a phenomenological study approach was carried out. The research sampling was carried out through purposive sampling method, namely the virtual photoshoot actors in the city of Bandung. The results in this study indicate the creative aspects of the virtual photoshoot which consist of methods, creative processes and obstacles. Meanwhile, the aspect of consumer trust consists of establishing a portfolio, educating the virtual photoshoot stage and targeting new potential markets. Whereas the virtual media photoshoots used consisted of social media references, media technology and the relationship between technology and photography media in order to improve business activities amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. However, along with the times, pesantren have not only opened religious-based schools, but also public schools that provide general knowledge (natural, social, and language) to their students. Educational formalities in pesantren were also proposed so that pesantren alumni could continue their education to public schools. There are three main problems in this paper by reconstructing the pesantren education system, as follows; (1) the relationship between pesantren and the outside world, (2) the relationship between pesantren and science and technology, and (3) the epistemology of Islamic Science in Pesantren Sains (Trensains).�The qualitative�descriptive method is the choice in this study. This research is a qualitative field study with case studies. In order to obtain comprehensive data and pay attention to the relationship between the data and the focus and objectives of the research, data collection in this study used three techniques, namely (1) interviews, (2) participant observation: (3) research documentation. Research activities in data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this research, it can be found that the interaction of science and technology with science cannot be denied. So pesantren must be prepared to deal with it. There are several Islamic boarding schools that have interacted with science and technology, both of which have greatly influenced the style of education, one of which is the Tebuireng Science Boarding School (Trensains). Santri are invited to study religion (Qur'an) as well as to study the verses of Kauniyah contained in it.Keywords: Interaction, Pesantren, Science, Technology

The purpose of this research is to explore the perception, that is understanding based on awareness, knowledge and experiences, of teachers and students of the relationship between utilizing Authentic Audio Visual Materials (AAVMs) in the EFL classroom and pronunciation development. The total number of participants in this study is 26. The study employs the qualitative method of research and targets teachers and students who delivered/passed two specific courses, Phonetics I, II and Language Skills I, II ,III. These two courses are concerned with pronunciation teaching and development at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University. While Phonetics targets pronunciation through linguistic knowledge, Language Skills are supposed to achieve that through listening and speaking activities. One-on-one detailed interviews, focus group interviews, open-ended questionnaires and observation sessions were the data collection instruments employed for this study. The findings of this study revealed that teachers and students have distinct perceptions of the relationship between utilizing AAVMs in the EFL classroom and pronunciation development. It was additionally attested that the lack of feedback and correction of pronunciation mistakes can have negative consequences on pronunciation development in the EFL classroom whereas providing students with feedback can have positive impacts on the pronunciation improvement process.
