In Indonesia, technology development in the agribusiness sector needs to be improved, because the majority of Indonesia’s population works in the agricultural sector. The problem faced by farmers today is a lack of information related to the management of the agricultural products industry. They only take care of the fields and irrigate, and fertilize until harvest and then sell it in the form of grain. Even though the big advantage that farmers get is when managing the grain into rice. Likewise, the provision of agricultural facilities or tools for postharvest activities, is of particular concern from the local government. For this reason, a method is needed so that their agricultural products can be valued on the market. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through case studies on assisted farmer groups in Sumberejo Purwosari Village, Pasuruan Regency. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation and interviews where sampling in interviews uses purposive sampling techniques, while the data analysis technique is done by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The economic empowerment of farmers is provided regarding counseling and training on agricultural product management, assistance to selling products to the market. The potential of natural resources in Sumberejo village is very varied, such as durian, brown rice, coffee beans which are later processed into ground coffee, and cassava which will be processed into cassava chips which are processed by the village farmers’ mothers. The results showed that the village self-reliance program consisted of: a. Prosperity of farm families, where each farmer family is encouraged to have plants in their yard, at least to fulfill kitchen needs, b.) Increase production by processing SDA equipped with skills and knowledge about procedures for making to marketing, c.) Meeting capital requirements by establishing savings and loan cooperatives for members of farmer groups. The development of agricultural products from upstream to downstream makes farmers able to enjoy the fruits of their labor without selling their produce to middlemen who often play with prices to small farmers.

There is no doubt that Agricultural Policy is the main responsible for the degrading in Agricultural sector in Iraq during the period 2003-2013, and that was very clear from magnitude of indicators because of little sharing of each of agricultural product in GDP  because it was (9.38%) in average during the study period and the annual changing of it was negative (-5.82%), and there is increasing in deficit of trade balance in Agriculture during the study period about (4185.73) million US$, and the percentage of agricultural exports from total exports was (0.14%) in average only. The foreign trade policy in Agricultural products also cannot determine map of Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) of Agricultural products and crops. The study showed that there is continuous deficit in agricultural price policy because the agricultural producer is still receive prices for strategically crops less than world prices and that was showed by Net Nominal Protection Coefficients (NNPC) and although of the improvement than before 2003 but it is not paralleled with importance of Agricultural sector.

The Beninese agricultural sector suffers mainly from a lack of financing. This study, conducted on a random sample of 150 households in Parakou commune, shows that participatory financing with a counterpart in agricultural product is an alternative to financing the production of local farms. Food among the population of Parakou consists mainly of cereals, particularly maize (according to 75% of households surveyed). Non-agricultural households purchase agricultural products according to their purchasing power and the economic situation. This study confirms that people are suffering from social injustice caused by an increase in product prices caused by the agricultural financing activity of loan sharks. It should be noted that 75% of households are willing to adopt the participatory financing proposed in this article. Households are ready to buy at an average price of 12.172 XOF/Kg.

Climate change is a phenomenon of erratic weather changes caused by conditions of temperature and rainfall. Based on this phenomenon, agriculture is the sector that has the most impact on climate change due to decreased productivity of food crops. This can be seen from the increasing number of pests and plant diseases being planted. If this problem continues, the economic income of the farmers will decline and tend to experience a food crisis. Therefore, Pertamina MOR VIII entered the community by overcoming problems that occurred through the CSR program.
