This research specifically observes the correlation between self actualization level and life meaning of homosexual men in a Bandung association. This research has been done because condition of society who has not been able to accept the existing of homosexual men in the association, many probles must be faced by them which enables to disturb their actualization with assumption that it relates to their life meaning. The design used in this research is non experimental design and correlation method. The research data are taken from the measurement tool encompassing self actualization data based on theory concept said by Maslow (1984). Whereas, the measurement tool used to get the date of the life meaning composed by James Crumbaugh dan Leonard Maholick  (Frankl, 1984) named The Purpose in Life Test. The result of analysis shows that correlative coefficient of both variables is 0.685 with Pv = 0,000 on significant standard α= 0,05 by two side tests. Basing on the result of significant test, it is known that thitung = 4,98. The result of data analysis shows that correlative coefficient of both variables is 0.685 with Pv = 0,000 on significant standard α= 0,05 by two side tests.basing on the result of significant test, it is known that thitung = 4,98. With standard significance α=0,05 and (dkn-2) =28 for two side test, it is know that ttabel = 2.048. These results show that there is significant positive correlation between self actualization and life meaning.

Shiftwork, including work that takes place at night (nightshift) and/or rotates between day and nightshifts, plays an important role in our society, but is associated with decreased health, including reproductive dysfunction. One key factor in shiftwork, exposure to light at night, has been identified as a likely contributor to the underlying health risks associated with shiftwork. Light at night disrupts the behavioral and molecular circadian timekeeping system, which is important for coordinated timing of physiological processes, causing mistimed hormone release and impaired physiological functions. This review focuses on the impact of shiftwork on reproductive function and pregnancy in women and laboratory rodents and potential underlying molecular mechanisms. We summarize the negative impact of shiftwork on female fertility and compare these findings to studies in rodent models of light shifts. Light-shift rodent models recapitulate several aspects of reproductive dysfunction found in shift workers, and their comparison with human studies can enable a deeper understanding of physiological and hormonal responses to light shifts and the underlying molecular mechanisms that may lead to reproductive disruption in human shift workers. The contributions of human and rodent studies are essential to identify the origins of impaired fertility in women employed in shiftwork.

The objective of the work was to make a comparative analysis of the result of external genital endometriosis treatment with the use of traditional surgical intervention and hormone therapy together with the use of low-molecular-weight metabolic immune response modifier 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazine-1,4-dione of sodium salt. Materials and methods: the experimental part of the study was previously conducted on 50 female rats which consisted of studying the influence of the immune response modifier on the course of experimentally induced endometriosis in experimental animals, in particular on changes in the estrous cycle. Injection of the immune response modifier caused retrogression of endometrioid heterotopias and normalization of the estrous cycle in the animals. The comparative analysis of the results of external genital endometriosis treatment in 66 women was conducted on the basis of experimental research. 34 women, apart from surgical intervention and hormone therapy, were injected with the immune response modifier 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazine-1,4-dione of sodium salt during the post surgical period. Cellular immunity, T- and B-lymphocytes, and equipment and instrumental methods, such as medical ultrasound of the organs of the lower pelvis and laparoscopy, were used to assess the results of treatment. As a result of the treatment with the use of the immune response modifier the indicators of cells immunity changed, pain severity decreased, menstrual function normalized, relapse frequency reduced, and the overall quality of life for patients improved. Socially significant effect of treatment of external genital endometriosis using metabolic immune response modifier is manifested in implementation of reproductive function ‒ elimination of infertility in 50 % of women during the first year of observation.

The article reveals the relevance of studying the creative abilities of employees of operational divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the manifestations of these abilities. Based on theoretical approaches, the author's definition of the creative abilities of employees is given. A comparative analysis of the creative abilities of operational employees and students of the graduation course (students in the specialization of operational search activity) is given, according to which the creative abilities of employees are wide and complex, while students of the graduation course are characterized by a deficit of creative abilities. As a result of the application of mathematical and statistical processing, the factors that are included in the structure of the creative potential of listeners (personal creativity, intellectual and personal potential, adaptability, self-actualization, resilience, existential fulfillment) have been identified and disclosed. The types of personality of listeners differing in their creative potential (strategic, tactical, sensitive), as well as their description are presented. It is concluded that the creative abilities of employees of operational units are integrated and individualized in the process of solving complex operational and service tasks (individual and collective) due to the coordinated manifestation of logic, subtle sensitivity and intuition in extreme conditions and situations of uncertainty.

Objective To investigate the role of the medial preoptic area (MPOA) of the hypothalamus in electroacupuncture (EA) treatment of reproductive dysfunction in ovariectomised (OVX) rats and to examine the underlying mechanisms of action. Methods 62 female Sprague-Dawley rats (200–220 g) underwent bilateral ovariectomy (OVX). Three weeks later, 32 rats assigned to experiment 1 were randomly divided into four groups: two groups underwent MPOA lesioning (n=16) followed by EA at CV4, CV3, SP6 and bilateral Zigong (30 min per day) for 3 days (OVX+MPOA+EA group, n=8) or no treatment (OVX+MPOA group, n=8); and two groups underwent sham (S) surgery (n=16) followed by EA (OVX+SMPOA+EA group, n=8) or no treatment (OVX+SMPOA group, n=8). Plasma oestradiol and luteinising hormone (LH) were measured by radioimmunoassay and mature vaginal epithelial cells stained and quantified post-treatment. 30 rats assigned to experiment 2 were randomised to receive EA (OVX+EA group, n=15) or remain untreated (OVX group, n=15), following which push-pull perfusion in combination with high pressure liquid chromatography/electrochemical (HPLC-EC) detection was used to measure neurotransmitter release in the MPOA. Results EA significantly increased the percentage of mature vaginal epithelial cells and plasma oestradiol levels in sham MPOA-lesioned rats compared with MPOA-lesioned OVX rats (p<0.05). In sham MPOA-lesioned OVX rats, EA significantly decreased plasma LH levels compared with no treatment (p<0.01). HPLC-EC results showed that γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and β-endorphin levels in the MPAO were significantly increased in OVX rats following EA (p<0.01). Conclusions The present study suggests that the MPOA plays a crucial role in EA treatment of abnormal reproductive function in OVX rats.

The data about hierarchical structure of working values were obtained from 112 pupils in job oriented schools and 164 pupils in non-job oriented schools. The investigation was conducted at the beginning and at the end of their professional training. Comparative analysis of the working values lists showed that pupils from job oriented school« gave relatively more significance (the first things on the list) to those values which defined their utilitaristic orientations. The pupils from non-job oriented schools gave more significance to the self-actualization values and orientation. Significance correspondence in the hierarchy of values can be found only at the beginning but not at the end of their schooling. The results obtained indicate a possible influence of purposeful education on the hierarchical rank of working values in high school education.
