Educational Expectations of Refugee Mothers for Their Children

The aim of this study is to determine refugee mothers' educational expectations for their children. It is a qualitative research designed with phenomenological approach, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Twenty volunteer mothers coming from Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan were participated in the study. An interview form, including open-ended questions, was used as a data collection tool. The data was collected by face to face meetings with each participant. Content analysis was applied to the data gathered. Findings indicate that the refugee mothers' expectations from the schools are guidance and counseling services for refugee students, more social activities at schools, more intensive Maths and language courses, effective communication and interaction between students, parents and schools. Most of the refugee mothers would like to settle down in a more developed country and they don't want their children continue their education in Turkey.

Abstract: Implementation of guidance and counseling services should be based on the needs and problems of students, so the effectiveness of the service will be achieved to the fullest. But the reality is a lot of implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools, do not notice it. So that the completion of the problems experienced by students sama.Berangkat always use the services of this, the research level of effectiveness of guidance and counseling that implementation has been using the application activity instrumentation and data sets as the basis for an implementation of the service. The method used is a qualitative research subjects that teachers BK and Students at SMA Negeri 1 Metro. Data collection technique through interview, observation and documentation. Research results show that by utilizing activity instrumentation applications and data sets, the counseling services have a high level of effectiveness. In carrying out the service, BK teachers can identify problems and needs experienced by students, so that the efforts of the assistance provided to be more precise, and problem students can terentaskan optimally.Keyword: Guidance and Counseling, Instrumentation Applications, Data Association

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk memindai penerapan bimbingan dan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural di SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini yaitu, guru BK, Kepala sekolah, para guru, siswa, pengurus OSIS, dan komite sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Palangkaraya. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan pengamatan partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan empat tahap penelitian kualitatif dari Miles dan Hubermann, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, klasifikasi data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) tujuan  layanan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural adalah memberikan bantuan kepada siswa multikultur untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dengan baik, 2) jenis-jenis layanan konseling antara lain membantu klien mengembangkan perilaku santun, membantu mengatasi kecemasan, menggali dan potensi siswa, 3) karakteristik khusus yang diterapkan yaitu dengan memberikan layanan konseling individual, 4) layanan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural telah memanfaatkan secara maksimal berbagai media konseling yang ada. Kata kunci: bimbingan konseling, multikultural, pemindaian, layanan  AbstractThe general objective of this study is to scan the application of guidance and counseling through multicultural approachin senior high school. The study used a qualitative approach. The informants of this study is counseling teacher, school principal, teachers, students,students’ organization at school (OSIS), and school committee of SMA Negeri 1 Palangkaraya. Data were collected using participatory observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using four qualitative research phases of Miles and Hubermann, namely data collection, data reduction, data classification, and making conclusions. Based on the research results, in general it can be concluded that: 1) the purpose of counseling services through multicultural approach is providing assistance to students multicultural to overcome the problems encountered well, 2) the types of counseling services include helping clients develop polite behavior, helping to overcome anxiety , exploring students’ talent, 3) special characteristics that are applied by giving individual counseling services, 4) counselingservice through multicultural approach has been maximally utilizing some existing media counseling.Keywords: counseling, multicultural, scanning, service

This scientific work aims to provide creative innovations in guidance and counseling services using the BK media to explore student careers. Entering the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, students today must have the ability and skills to predict a rapidly changing future, especially concerning career problems. Guidance and Counseling Teachers here play an essential role in developing students' potential, and one way is to optimize the role of Guidance and Counseling in schools by optimizing services about career exploration. For support services on career exploration,  BK (Guidance and Counseling) media needed to improve students' understanding of the services provided. One of them uses DEAR (Digital Exploration Career) based media as an alternative and innovation that can use to explore students' careers. DEAR (Digital Exploration Career) is a hypermedia-based BK media. Each use of this media in service delivery also pays attention to students' needs, materials, entertainment, and evaluations so that the media is effective in service delivery even though sometimes without face to face. So that this media provides a new atmosphere and innovation in the provision of BK services so that they can run dynamically by the times. Then DEAR (Digital Exploration Career) Hypermedia-Based Bk Media Innovation is one solution that can use to explore students' careers in the industrial revolution era 4.0

Peningkatan Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia membuat perubahan kebijakan pendidikan. Menanggapi itu, pemerintah membuat kebijakan tentang kurikulum darurat sebagai bentuk konsep dasar yang dapat dijalankan pada saat kondisi tertentu. Konseptualisasi dasar pendidikan dengan kurikulum 2013 tidaklah bisa berjalan dengan baik, sehingga pemerintah mengambil keputusan bagi pendidikan yang terdampak Covid-19 dapat menerapkan kurikulum darurat. Pemerintah menekankan bahwa pendidikan di Indonesia harus tetap mementingkan tujuan utama yang terkandung dalam kurikulum. Dengan begitu penelitian ini melihat konsep pendidikan dengan M-Learning dari perspektif layanan konseling. Program penting bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah menjadi peran utama untuk mendapatkan evaluasi yang baik. Tujuan penelitan ini untuk mengevaluasi sistem pembelajaran M-Learning dengan memberikan layanan kepada peserta didik dengan membandingkan pembelajaran C-Learning. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode evaluasi dengan dasar penelitian kualitatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem pembelajaran M-Learning inefisiensi dalam konsep pendidikan yang didasari pedoman kurikulum di Indonesia. The increase in the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has led to changes in education policy. In response to that, the government making a policy on the emergency curriculum as a form of the basic concept that can be implemented under certain conditions. The basic conceptualization of education with the 2013 curriculum could not work well, so the government decided for education affected by Covid-19 to apply an emergency curriculum. The government emphasizes that education in Indonesia must continue to prioritize the main objectives contained in the curriculum. Thus, this study looks at the concept of education with M-Learning from the perspective of counseling services. An important program of guidance and counseling in schools becomes the main role to get a good evaluation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the M-Learning learning system by providing services to students by comparing C-Learning learning. This study using an evaluation method based on qualitative research. The evaluation results show that the M-Learning learning system is inefficient in the concept of education based on curriculum guidelines in Indonesia.

Cyber counseling is divided into various shapes, one form is the use of facebook. Guidance and counseling teacher in schools can implement the cyber counseling assited with facebook to reduce online game addiction the students who are more likely to prefer to communicate by text relationship, and students who do not feel comfortable with counseling services by face to face. Problems of children who are addicted Online Games at school require a relief to effort with Group Counseling assited with facebook services for addressing and alleviating the problems experienced, both personal and social through cyber counseling. An educational institution is an institution that carries a person into an orderly and systematic flow of thought. In this sense, education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills that are treated by the people of the nation and state. Guidance and counseling management is a student service starting from the acceptance of new students, the development of student coaching both personal, social, learning and career services. Researchers used qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The researcher attended the school through observation, conducting interviews and documentation in order to analyze the application of guidance and counseling service management to improve student self-efficacy and learning motivation at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman during the covid 19 pandemic. The data obtained were then analyzed and concluded. The results showed that the implementation of guidance and counseling service management to improve student self-efficacy and learning motivation at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Taman during the covid 19 pandemic was carried out through several stages, namely planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating. Then the results of the researchers are that with guidance and counseling services students experience an increase in self-efficacy and learning motivation after the service and guidance process is carried out.

Qualitative as the "art of understanding" is passed on as the expertise of the researcher to understand the object of research with the sophisticated efforts done through the art of speaking, the art of writing and the art of presenting what has been studied, as we can find in artists that produce fine art. Understanding qualitative research methods in guidance and counseling is viewed as an art. The term understand in qualitative research is the process of grasping the meaning of a phenomenon that is the target of interpretation in a study. In the implementation of guidance and counseling services, counselor seeks to understand the meaning of the problems of the counselee with the effort to capture the meaning or meaning of problematic faced by the counselee. The art of understanding qualitative research in guidance and counseling is a deep understanding of research methods that describe the object of research through procedures and data that are non numerical to the object of research, such as verbal data, text data, content analysis techniques, conversion analysis techniques, focus groups, analysis Discourse, and phenomenology to interpret the object of service phenomenon Guidance and Counseling.

During in COVID-19 pandemic, counselors switched the face-to-face counseling process to online counseling or in terms of guidance and counseling, namely cyber counseling. The application of cyber counseling services can be the right solution when psychological problems require immediate resolution. This cyber counseling service can also be applied by education counselors. This research was conducted to determine the application of cyber counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the counseling process and media used by counselors. The method used in this research a literature study. The results show that the cyber counseling process is almost the same as the face-to-face counseling process, but several things need to be considered, such as the preparation stage which includes the availability of supporting and adequate hardware and software. Furthermore, the media used by cyber counseling can be in the form of applications, websites, telephones, chat what apps and video conferencing, and other social media. The advantages of cyber counseling can be accessed anywhere and in an adjustable time, the counselor can reach a wider range of counselees. Counselees and counselors can carry out the counseling process when and where by mutual agreement, although in the counseling process it is sometimes without signs and physical the counselee is easier to express thoughts and feelings. The weakness is that the diagnosis is less accurate and the intervention is less effective because the instructions and directions are given are less specific and non-verbal information becomes difficult to provide. The development of technology has changed the lives of the world as well as counseling. Counseling is not only face to face (FTF) in a confined space, but it can be done through distance format in assistive technology that online counseling. Counseling is an integral part of e-counseling services. Various applications have been developed to support the implementation of BK in Indonesia, as well as with use of other technologies that can support the implementation of guidance and counseling services. E-counseling services in general and in particular online counseling are an alternative attempt to do by counselors in an effort to prevent, reduce and eliminate the problem. Counselors should have a mastery of the technology and has a minimum competency in the administration of e-counseling services, at least insights about e-counseling services. This article will present a variety of things with regard to e-counseling service specifically about online counseling
