The development of technology has changed the lives of the world as well as counseling. Counseling is not only face to face (FTF) in a confined space, but it can be done through distance format in assistive technology that online counseling. Counseling is an integral part of e-counseling services. Various applications have been developed to support the implementation of BK in Indonesia, as well as with use of other technologies that can support the implementation of guidance and counseling services. E-counseling services in general and in particular online counseling are an alternative attempt to do by counselors in an effort to prevent, reduce and eliminate the problem. Counselors should have a mastery of the technology and has a minimum competency in the administration of e-counseling services, at least insights about e-counseling services. This article will present a variety of things with regard to e-counseling service specifically about online counseling

<p class="Abstrak">Organizing online counseling is very helpful and possible to be developed in the world of guidance and counseling, especially in Indonesia. Although now specifically in Indonesia, there is no ethic that regulates but the existence of this media can support the implementation of guidance and counseling widely to improve the competence and efficiency of service for alleviating the problems faced by clients. Use and utilize information and communication technology.  The availability of formal institutions that will train these skills. And also specifically can be included in a special curriculum with regard to Information and communication Technology in guidance and counseling. And also hopefully in the future there will be the establishment of specialized counseling institutions that deal with specific issues online counseling and e-counseling services in general.</p><p class="Abstrak"> </p>

Guidance and counseling service is an integral part of the educational process in the education unit. During the Covid-19 pandemic, strategies and solutions are needed so it can be carried out online. Whatsapp is a social media that has been widely known and used by many people in Indonesia.  The features found on Whatsapp support the implementation of online guidance and counseling service including its supporting activities such as classical formats, group formats, and individual formats.  Classical format and group format services can be carried out through one of Whatsapp features known as Whatsapp Messenger Group, while individual format services can be conducted through Whatsapp Chat. However, there are some obstacles faced in using Whatsapp as a medium for online guidance and counseling services.  Some of the obstacles that often arise are unstable signal, insufficient memory on cellphone due to many files received, lack of interaction between teachers and students, difficulty to check the seriousness of students, lack of student motivation, lack of supporting devices, and difficulty to understand the material given.  However, despite all the obstacles that may occur, as a user friendly platform and very popular in Indonesia and even in the world, Whatsapp can still be used as a strategic media and solution for guidance and counseling service during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

During in COVID-19 pandemic, counselors switched the face-to-face counseling process to online counseling or in terms of guidance and counseling, namely cyber counseling. The application of cyber counseling services can be the right solution when psychological problems require immediate resolution. This cyber counseling service can also be applied by education counselors. This research was conducted to determine the application of cyber counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the counseling process and media used by counselors. The method used in this research a literature study. The results show that the cyber counseling process is almost the same as the face-to-face counseling process, but several things need to be considered, such as the preparation stage which includes the availability of supporting and adequate hardware and software. Furthermore, the media used by cyber counseling can be in the form of applications, websites, telephones, chat what apps and video conferencing, and other social media. The advantages of cyber counseling can be accessed anywhere and in an adjustable time, the counselor can reach a wider range of counselees. Counselees and counselors can carry out the counseling process when and where by mutual agreement, although in the counseling process it is sometimes without signs and physical the counselee is easier to express thoughts and feelings. The weakness is that the diagnosis is less accurate and the intervention is less effective because the instructions and directions are given are less specific and non-verbal information becomes difficult to provide. This study aims to explain the code of ethics for online counseling by integrating information technology in guidance and counseling services. This research method is a literature study using secondary data sources collected through textbooks, e-books, scientific articles, websites, and other sources relevant to the research problem which are then analyzed descriptively. The result of this study is the rapid development of technology in various fields, which has an impact on the integration of the counseling process in the technology. Through technological intermediaries, counseling no longer has to be done face-to-face. Among the advantages and disadvantages of online counseling, the professional code of ethics for counselors still needs to be maintained. One form of supervision is supervision. Counselors, both online and face-to-face counseling, are required to improve their ability to deal with counselee problems in accordance with the provisions of Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014.

Kebutuhan akan manfaat pelayanan BK kian dirasakan masyarakat secara luas. Keberadaan BK di Indonesia memang berawal dari dunia pendidikan. Seiring perkembangannya, organisasi biro penyedia jasa layanan BK mulai bermunculan di tengah masyarakat. Namun tidak semuanya asli berlatar belakang lulusan BK, melainkan dari jurusan Psikologi. Keadaan ini mendorong berdirinya organisasi atau yayasan biro penyedia jasa layanan konseling yaitu Edupotensia Foundation. Edupotensia Foundation memberikan layanan Konseling yang dilakukan langsung oleh konselor profesional dan lulusan BK sendiri. Kegiatan konseling berbasis biro bagi perkembangan dunia konseling di Indonesia menjadi hal baru yang harus terus dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam guna mendapatkan informasi secara rinci. Hasil yang didapat melalui penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan konseling oleh Edupotensia Foundation dilakukan sesuai dengan prinsip, fungsi dan asaz konseling, berfokus pada pendekatan CBT, SFBT dan Life-Choaching. Selain itu, Edupotensia Foundation juga memberikan workshop pengembangan kompetensi konseling dan beragam pelatihan yang sesuai._______________________________________________________________ The need for benefits from Guidance and Counseling services is increasingly felt by the community at large. The existence of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia does start from the world of education. Along with its development, the bureau organization of Guidance and Counseling service providers began to appear in the community. However, not all of them are from Guidance and Counseling background, but from the Department of Psychology. This situation encourages the establishment of a bureaus organization or foundation for counseling service providers namely Edupotensia Foundation. Edupotensia Foundation provides Counseling services conducted directly by professional counselors and Guidance and Counseling graduates themselves. Bureau-based counseling activities for the development of the world of counseling in Indonesia are new things that must continue to be developed. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection tools with in-depth interviews to obtain detailed information. The results obtained through this study are that the implementation of counseling by the Edupotensia Foundation is carried out in accordance with the principles, functions and counseling, focusing on the CBT, SFBT and Life-Choaching approaches. In addition, the Edupotensia Foundation also provides counseling competency development workshops and a variety of appropriate training.

Technology and the use of internet has taken counseling service beyond the face-to-face to online counseling services. Online counseling has been available and widely used as more people are going online. Therefore this research aims to examine the perceptions of University of Jordan students toward online counseling. A sample of 210 respondents were selected to complete online questionnaire that contains two aspects of knowledge about and attitude toward online Counseling. The results of the study indicated that respondents have adequate information about the field of online counseling. However, face to face counseling was not the first preferences for most of the respondents. They have a positive attitude and a high level of preferring toward online counseling, and they believe that online counseling is an essential part of their way to deal with daily life problems. The results also indicated that social media is most effective way that help respondents to get online counseling, and it has tremendous effect on respondent's life.

The implementation of guidance and counseling services cannot be separated from various factors that can influence. The purpose of this study is to study what factors can affect the implementation of guidance and counseling program services in high school. This study uses descriptive research with survey methods. Data collection techniques used through the instrument contained a questionnaire. The results of the study show that the guidance and counseling program has been well prepared. But the implementation of guidance and counseling is still not good, and this is characterized by high factors that influence the implementation of guidance and counseling service programs. The following are the percentages obtained, among others: personal factors consisting of the competence of the counselor get a percentage of 73% according to the high category; 71% depending on the high category; homeroom teacher obtained a percentage of 79% in the high category; subject teachers earn a percentage of 75%. Non-personal factors consisting of the BK program obtained a percentage of 70 with a high category; Facilities and infrastructure have a percentage of 77% in the high category.

Gifted children in life need service programs to develop their own talents. Gifted children are those who are identified by professionals possessing extraordinary abilities and high achievers. Educational services for gifted children in Indonesia are only limited to discourse or only implemented in some schools only. Until finally the potential of gifted children do not develop, or the development of gifted children is not optimal. Gifted children need to attend special education. Gifted children's education should be distinguished from other children. Because gifted children need different learning processes. On the basis of that, gifted children need to be given guidance and counseling services , with the aim that gifted children can increase their potential and develop their talents.

The problem of cheating for learners is not something new in the world of school. When school programs begin to enter the stage of assessment, then there are also various behavior patterns of learners to prepare themselves to face a test or test. In fact, in schools such as SMA Negeri 11 Ambon there are some students of class X IPS do cheat behavior at the time of replication take place. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 11 Ambon, the result of the research showed that there were differences of learners behavior, before and after the students got guidance and counseling service. Of the 40 respondents who originally cheated, after being given guidance almost all declared no and have abandoned the attitude of cheating.

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do so, the researchers adopted an online survey method and cross-sectional technique to analyze the data of 350 student's parents in Semarang Regency as the respondents of this study. Generally, the findings indicated that parents with high level of understanding tend to provide great support for the online counseling services given to their children.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0952/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
