Incompleteness and Unpredictability of Networked Communications in Use

This chapter explores the use practices of networked communications, or more speci?cally, the use practices of a Web-based information system in large distributed pharmaceutical development projects. The analysis highlights the process in which the system in question is held together, extended and transformed into a working system for pharmaceutical projects. Assemblage is proposed as a productive concept in making visible the particularities of networked communications, their malleability, and the way in which they evolve in use through extensions, interferences, and unpredictable circumstances. The views presented here enhance an understanding of networked communications in use and consequently draw implications to further development strategies for such technologies.

Background One of the aims of the Young Talent Group (YTG) is to make United European Gastroenterology (UEG) more attractive to young fellows interested in gastroenterology (GI), and to actively involve them in UEG activities and the activities of their respective national societies. In 2017, we conducted a survey among the Friends of the UEG YTG with the aim of identifying the state of organization and needs of Young GI Sections (YGISs) throughout Europe, highlighting areas for further development and improvement. Aims The aim of the current web-based survey was to assess the progress of YGISs over 1 year, and persisting hurdles in forming and running a YGIS. Results Overall, 38 of 42 Friends answered the survey (91%). The number of YGISs has increased significantly from 12 in 2017 to 25 in 2019. Young gastroenterologists remained supported, but not influenced, by national societies. Results of the survey suggest that a lack of dedicated and motivated fellows has replaced a lack of funding as the most prevalent hurdle in forming these types of sections. Conclusion Our survey shows that the development of YGISs has improved markedly within the last 2 years. However, several limitations, like underrepresentation in subcommittees of national societies, remain and need to be addressed in order to involve young gastroenterologists in their respective national societies and within UEG, to pave the way for future research, education and excellent quality of care, and reduce health inequalities across Europe.

Coordination report complete information system of the council is one of the supporting tools in reporting the council's activities to the Riau Islands Province DPRD. Every matter concerning official organizational activities is always realized in the form of a coordinating report on the completeness of the board. The Office of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of the Riau Islands Province also faces obstacles in the coordinating report on the completeness of the board, where the coordinating report on the completeness of the council requires physical evidence and is recorded in a structured manner. This research builds a management information system for coordinating reports on the completeness of the DPRD Kepri council that can be accessed through an internet connection and is built using a web-based computer programming language. This research was conducted in 2016, the research design used was applied research. From the results of the achievement of research conducted that the complete co-ordination information system of the board can be used as an alternative to the management of archiving letter data involving many types and functions of a letter. Ease of access and operations that can be used on various devices is a priority and functionality of an application by using a web-based application. The application of information technology and the demands of work efficiency in agencies requires the ideas and creativity of users at a government agency to innovate in handling performance issues, especially the management and management of letters. Background: Off-label use is frequent in paediatrics but that does not necessarily mean that the risk-benefit ratio is negative. Nevertheless, evidence-based data is essential for safe drug therapy. In Germany, there is no publicly available compendium providing transparent, evidence-based information for paediatric pharmacotherapy to date. This work describes the development of a web-based paediatric drug information system (PDIS) for Germany and its evaluation by health care professionals (HCP). Methods: Since 2012, a PDIS is being developed by the authors and is supported by the Federal Ministry of Health since 2016. Dosing recommendations were established based on systematic literature reviews and subsequent evaluation by clinical experts. The prototype was evaluated by HCP. Based on the results, the further development was concluded. Results: 92% of HCP believed that the PDIS could improve the quality of prescribing, as currently available information is deficient. Besides the license and formulations, dosing recommendations were the most relevant modules. A dosage calculator was the most wanted improvement. To facilitate sustainability of future development, a collaboration with the Dutch Kinderformularium was established. As of 2021, the database will be available to German HCP. Conclusion: The fundamentals for a German PDIS were established, and vital steps were taken towards successful continuation.

INTISARISistem informasi perpustakaan  berbasis web yang digunakan sekarang, hanya bisa melihat daftar koleksi dan stock koleksi yang ada diperpustakaan, belum bisa melihat data peminjaman yang dilakukan mahasiswa maupun dosen dan jumlah denda jika mahasiswa terlambat mengembalikan buku maupun cd toturial, sehingga mahasiswa dan dosen yang lupa judul buku apa aja yang telah dipinjam diperpustakaan harus datang langsung keperpustakaan untuk melihat daftar buku atau cd yang dipinjam. Maka dari itu diperlukan pengembangan sistem informasi perpustakaan yang menerapkan web service dengan tujuan dapat menampilkan data sirkulasi bagian data peminjama  yang ada diaplikasi smart library, sehingga data yang tampil real time, metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah SDLC dan perancangan sistem menggunakan UML yaitu usecase, activity dan class diagram. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sistem informasi perpustakaan bagian data peminjaman koleksi baik buku maupun cd toturial yang berbasis website yang dimana mahasiswa dan dosen dapat melihat daftar buku yang telah dipinjam, dan total denda peminjaman jika mahasiswa terlambat mengembalikan buku, dan juga dengan menerapkan webservice dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi perpustakaan.Kata Kunci — Data Peminjaman, Perpustakaan,Webservice, UML ABSTRACTThe information system web-based library in use now, only to see the list of collections and stock collections that exist in the library, can not see the data of borrowing done by the students and faculty and the amount of the fine if students are late returning the book and cd toturial, so that students and faculty who forget any kind of titles that have been borrowed in the library must come directly library to see a list of books or cd borrowed. This the necessary development of library information systems that implement web service with the aim to show the data circulation data portion of borrowing that is applied smart library, so the data that appear in real time, System development method used is SDLC and system design using UML usecase, activity and class diagrams. The presence of technology and science has evolved in the world of work and its development, in this Globalization Era, it requires people to participate in these developments. This method uses processing in the field of work which was initially managed manually by recording orders written in a ledger, now managed using modern technology. From the results of this study it can be seen that in recording existing orders on the CV. Boganesia Jaya has not implemented the system or is still using manual methods. In that case some suggestions can be given to the company for further development by means of an information system designed using an application with the web-based PHP and MySQL programming language to solve this problem in CV. Boganesia Jaya which is more effective and accurate.

The sales process is the most important part of the product manufacturer or the company being ditributor. Conventional sales system by the way telephone or consumer come directly to know the available or not the product needed to make consumers should take the time to do that. Such conditions can also lead to consumer dissatisfaction especially if the desired item is unavailable. Dissatisfaction with customer service can affect the indication of declining sales turnover. For that, the company needs a website-based sales information system that can be accessed by consumers anytime and anywhere so that it can expand its marketing area, and can facilitate salespeople to conduct promotions to Community. This research produces the sales information system by implementing a sales Force Automation (SFA) method which is expected to maximize the sales and focus of services to customers.

The article highlights the aspects of risk management in the information system. According to the analysis of the work of Russian and foreign scientists and world practices in the field of risk management, it is stated that there is a need to improve the effectiveness of risk management of information system and to develop a method for managing the risks of the information system. As a solution to the problem of effective risk management of the information system, there has been proposed a formalized procedure for managing the risks of the information system. The scientific novelty of this solution is the use of decision space and optimization space to reduce risks. This procedure allows to assess the damage, risk and effectiveness of risk management of the information system. The risks of the information system are determined and analyzed; a pyramidal risk diagram is developed. This diagram allows you to describe the relationship of risks with the components of the information system. The negative consequences to which these risks can lead are given. The analysis of methods and approaches to risk management has been carried out. Based on the results of the analysis, the methods GRAMM, CORAS, GOST R ISO / IEC scored to the maximum. The weak points of these methods and the difficulty of applying these methods in practice are described. The developed formalized risk management procedure to control the risks of information system can be used as management system’s element of the information security quality that complies with the recommendations of GOST R ISO / IEC 27003-2012. The prospect of further development of the research results is the development of management systems of risk of information system.

The purpose of this research is to know the geographic information system of tourism that is in Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency and develop it Research methods used by doing observationin Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency, then proceed with the system development method. the research method used is by the method of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). By using the Software Notepad ++ to build tourism Geographical Information System web-based. PHP as a programming language, MySQL as the database server and the design of the map using the Google Maps API. The object-oriented approach that is used UML (Unified Modeling Language) can explain the flow of the existing system. Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga dan Pariwisata Kebumen Regency has been doing promotion through mass media such as newspapers and brochures in the delivery of information. But the way is not enough to inform tourism and places of attractions. It is therefore through the design of Geographical information system of tourism was able to resolve the issue. After the results of the study of geographic information systems is expected delivery of tourism information becomes more widespread, and the tourists could be quick and precise in finding information a tourist want to visit.
