This chapter first provides an overview as to the history and factors that have contributed to a marked decrease in the number of Chamorro language speakers in Guam. Although recent efforts by the Government of Guam as well as community groups have sought to reverse this decrease, there continues to be a decline in the number of Chamorro speakers, especially amongst the youngest generations. In a contemporary context, the chapter will focus on the acquisition, maintenance, and the attitudes toward the Chamorro language among the young generation in Guam. Data collected from 582 participants was statistically analyzed. The results show that 80.4% of participants claimed that they understand the Chamorro language, more or less. However, only 4.5% of them evaluated their speaking ability as very good. Among the participants in our study, only 2.6% acquired Chamorro as their mother language, and 9.8% regularly use the Chamorro language. These results show that the extent of the shift on Guam among the youngest generation to the use of English is statistically large.

The circulation of narcotics is one of the problems that should get more attention in Indonesia, especially in the city of Medan. This study uses the juridical-normative method in explaining research questions. In reinforcing arguments and explanations, researchers used primary data through direct interviews with the North Sumatra National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and secondary through scientific writings, news and official government publications. This paper explains that the government must be able to enforce the law related to the crime of narcotics trafficking, this is due to the large impact that can arise from the destruction of Indonesia's young generation.

The discussion room for the Work Creation Bill is officially located at the DPR RI Building. The discussion, which involved various interest groups, was deemed insufficient to accommodate the “rejecting” aspirations expressed by various community groups. Several community groups who are members of various civil society movements, held demonstrations outside the DPR RI Building as a venue for discussion of the Job Creation Bill. Demonstrations that also took place in these areas have caused damage to public facilities. According to Habermas's opinion, this condition is the result of structural domination, where the ruling group directs various forms of policy with instrumental communication that will not create understanding. In agreement with Gramsci, in this case, there is a political hegemony between one group against another. The government, which has an interest in immediately completing the deliberation of the Job Creation Bill, through the power of political domination, seeks to exercise hegemony against the civil society movement, causing violent conflict. Conflict resolution in the discussion of the Work Creation Bill is structurally carried out by using the state law approach in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations. In accordance with the mandate of the constitution, all matters relating to regulations, a judicial review can be carried out at the Constitutional Court.

The topic of this paper could be irrelevant to well-developed and developing countries, however, it is quite challenging to educate students in privileged income developing countries in which all primary needs of education, health, shelter and basic needs (the base for Maslow’s hierarchy of needs) are taken care of by the government. This leaves little room for the young generation to aspire to. Insufficient internal drive to work hard or to prove oneself since all basic needs are taken care of and most of these students are coming from well-off families. This created a real dilemma for educators in how to motivate and encourage this generation to take education seriously and work hard towards their degree and appreciate this educational journey. This paper would discuss some of these motivational tools and a set of recommendations for the government on this issue.

The link between education and politics is understood by the community in two ways. First there are community groups who say that education is education and politics is political or between the two is separate. Secondly there are groups of people who argue that the two are interrelated. in a narrow sense, it needs to be remembered that politics in the narrow sense is interpreted as part of society as a politics of national life in which there is competition between certain groups or groups to fight for a desired position or position by justifying any means. Politics in education actually exists, an example; a vocational school principal who decides the policy of apprenticeship patterns for his students, whether that decision cannot be considered a political decision. Another example is the regulations concerning education that the government decides in the form of policies or guidelines are actually political decisions as well

Significance The National Liberation Front (FLN) and Democratic National Rally (RND) received the most seats, as expected, amid widespread voter apathy. Impacts The government will continue its austerity strategy in response to the low oil price, and face more social tension and protests. The young generation will lose even more trust in the political system and opt for protest, resignation and emigration. The supporters of security and economic cooperation with the United States within the regime were strengthened.

Corruption is a problem and is a big challenge faced by the people of Indonesia and the world. Corruption has been around for a long time since humans have known administrative governance. Corruption is often related to problems or political policies in the government environment. Corruption is included as criminal behavior, corruption is not just stealing, but there is an element of abuse of authority or power in it, it gives moral content to corruption. Corruption does not only affect one aspect of life but also has a domino effect on other aspects of life. One of the best ways to break the chain of corruption in this country is by providing anti-corruption education to the next generation of its people. Because the next generation of the nation will be the generation that replaces the old state officials, to build a beloved country so that it can triumph in the eyes of the world. This young generation is the key to the success of the country's development which must avoid corruption. So, it is easier for us to educate and influence the younger generation so that they do not commit criminal acts of corruption before they are first influenced by the "culture" of corruption from their predecessor generation. Students are supported by the basic competencies they have, namely: intelligence, creative ideas, critical thinking skills, and the courage to express the truth. With their competence, students are expected to be able to become agents of change for themselves, their families, and the surrounding community, they are able to voice people's interests, are able to criticize corrupt policies, and are able to become supervisors of state institutions and law enforcement.

This paper is aimed at discussing the strategic role of school (madrasah) in the country. Madrasah is one of the Islamic educational institutions that have an important role for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Madrasah is a place to galvanize the mental, moral, and spiritual of the young generation to educate students to be useful beings for the religion, state, and nation. Private Madrasahs as one of the Islamic Education Institutions in Indonesia have a strategic role in the participation of the nation's intellectuals. In the next developments, private madrasahs face complex issues. In one hand, there is a demand to improve the quality in order to compete with state Islamic education institutions and public schools, but on the other hand, the attention of the government, both central and local, to Islamic educational institutions is still low, even they are still placed not as the main class, but the second class of education institutions. The Ministry of Religious Affairs, which became the central policy, began to formulate serious efforts to improve the quality of madrasahs, such as through the Ministry's Strategic Plan.
