The homestay business has contributed to the development of the tourism industry, and it has revitalized tourism resources and boosted the tourism economy. This article takes the Mogan Mountain homestay agglomeration of Yangtze River Delta, the most developed and actively invested in business in the industry, as a research site focus to discuss the recent trends in the Chinese homestay business. Standard deviational ellipse analysis, spatial analysis of nearest-neighbor, and density are empirically tested with the data from the inn/homestay channel of Qunar.com, which is a widely acclaimed website with high page views. Based on the above researches, this paper uses the standard deviation ellipse analysis, the nearest neighbor analysis, and the kernel density estimation analysis method to explore the development characteristics of the Mogan Mountain homestay agglomeration. Combined with the Butler tourist destination life cycle model, it can be concluded that the Mogan Mountain homestay agglomeration area experienced a stage of initial development (2007–2011) and rapid development (2012–2015) and now is in a mature development stage (2016 up to now). This study proposes five actors: physical geographical conditions, traffic location conditions, tourism self-organization mechanism, policy influence, and community residents’ willingness to develop and significantly drive the evolution of Mogan Mountain homestay agglomeration. The formation and evolution of the Mogan Mountain homestay agglomeration are the results of the accumulation of resource-driven effect, scale effect, and differentiation effect at different stages. The unique organization and incentive mechanism promote regional sustainable development.

<em>With the rapid development of globalization, the trans-cultural communication has become more and more frequent. Tourism has become more popular with people as one of the ways in trans-cultural communication. In travelling, people cannot only spread their own culture, but also study other cultures. However, it is the transnational tourism that makes all kinds of languages encounter and gives rise to the differences among these languages. Thus, translation is one important way to solve this problem. As one of the ways in trans-cultural communication, tourism translation has its vital function. Therefore, a number of researches have been done by many famous experts and scholars. However, my literature search indicates that the researches about tourism translation abroad are relatively few, even though there are many at home. As far as China as a whole is concerned, Hubei Province boasts rich and abundant cultural relics. The cultural resources of Hubei Province are heterogeneous yet diversified, including Chu culture, Three Kingdoms culture, “Red Culture” related to the revolution under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and so on. Most cities, towns and villages in Hubei Province are endowed with these cultural resources among which the Three Kingdoms culture is one of the main cultural resources in the province. The Three Kingdoms cultural tourism is concentrated in the cities of Jingzhou and Xiangyang where there are currently many problems with the translations of the scenic areas or spots. This paper firstly discusses the significant role of the Three Kingdoms culture in the construction and development of cultural tourism in Hubei Province. Then, referring to the present translation situation in the Three Kingdoms cultural attractions in Jingzhou City and Xiangyang City, it analyzes the problems existing in the Three Kingdoms cultural tourism translation in Hubei Province. According to the analysis, it puts forward the countermeasures, strategies, methods and principles to solve the problems.</em>

This article highlights the dynamics of geothermal energy in the Kamojang nature reserve in Indonesia. A nature reserve is a conservation area that must be protected and preserved, because it has unique flora and fauna, and rare ecosystems whose existence is threatened with extinction. After going through a long study process by an integrated team, the government finally made a policy to change the function of the nature reserve into a Nature Tourism Park. Changes in policy changes to the function of nature reserves cause pros and cons in the community, and cause conflicts between government and environmental activists. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that cause changes in the function of nature reserves into natural tourism parks in the Kamojang conservation area of Indonesia, as well as to identify appropriate communication models in the management of geothermal energy through communication and environmentally sustainable approaches. Research findings show that the factors that cause changes in the function of nature reserves into tourist parks include; the interests of geothermal energy to meet national energy needs and electricity infrastructure, accommodate the needs of surrounding communities that utilize water resources in conservation areas, and restore ecosystems. The communication model for geothermal energy management that we propose at the same time is also a novelty namely; ecopopulism approach, negotiation approach, collaboration, and equating meaning and orientation to environmental sustainability. Type of Paper: Empirical Keywords: Geothermal Energy, Nature Reserves, Conservation Policies, Communication Models and Sustainable Development.

With the impact of global internationalization, tourism economy has also been a rapid development. The increasing interest aroused by more advanced forecasting methods leads us to innovate forecasting methods. In this paper, the seasonal trend autoregressive integrated moving averages with dendritic neural network model (SA-D model) is proposed to perform the tourism demand forecasting. First, we use the seasonal trend autoregressive integrated moving averages model (SARIMA model) to exclude the long-term linear trend and then train the residual data by the dendritic neural network model and make a short-term prediction. As the result showed in this paper, the SA-D model can achieve considerably better predictive performances. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the SA-D model, we also use the data that other authors used in the other models and compare the results. It also proved that the SA-D model achieved good predictive performances in terms of the normalized mean square error, absolute percentage of error, and correlation coefficient.
