According to the data on total output value and load amount of coal per day of Shanxi province, this paper uses grey correlation analysis model to calculate the correlation degree of the development of coal logistics and economic growth of Shanxi province. The results show that the development of coal logistics and economic growth of Shanxi province have a positive correlation relationship and the coal logistics industry will promote the economic development of Shanxi province.Based on the results, the paper makes three suggestions.First, government should provide some preferential policies for coal logistics industry.Second, the modern coal logistics system should be established.Third, the economic development model of Shanxi province should be upgraded.

The modern logistics industry has opened new strategic perspectives in establishing its interrelation with economic growth. In recent years, understanding such an overlap has become a policy issue considering ever-increasing factors and their influence on this relation. Most existing studies have explored this interaction from a general perspective, or for developed countries. This paper explores time-series analysis of the dynamic variables and their inter-related influence in both the short and long run on the relationship between modern logistic industry and economic growth—a more specific perspective, particularly for developing countries. Accordingly, we exemplify our analysis by employing the vector autoregression (VAR) model to the most updated time series data of investment in the logistics industry and the economic growth of Pakistan from 1990 to 2018. The empirical findings endorse the previous studies’ outcomes and recognize the importance of sustainable economic development concerning continuously improving the logistics industry. However, a unidirectional relation is observed that economic growth leads to developing the logistics industry—economic growth exerts a significant demand-pull effect on Pakistan’s logistics. It implies that logistic industrial development is comparatively quicker in the geographical areas where economic growth is higher than those areas where economic growth is low. To conclude this study’s findings, logistics industry reforms should prioritize the selected geographical areas in improving the economy that would lead to the modern logistics industry’s development. As the model adopts Pakistan’s context, the overall statistical analysis can be generalized to other developing economies. These results would be of particular interest to strategy makers working in developing countries and help them design and develop modern transportation and logistics, coupled with interlinked technological factors, which would attract investment in the logistics industry for sustainable economic development.

In this article we justified the priority directions for the regulatory mechanism’s development, considering the importance to foster economic growth to increase the fiscal efficiency. We evaluated the level of taxation in Ukraine and the European Union. We found out that the tax structure has a significant impact on economic growth. Corporate tax is particularly harmful for economic growth, because affects the investment behavior of corporations that are making a significant contribution to total output. Taxes on labor have a greater negative effect on growth than the taxes on consumption because they are in progressive to a large degree, as well as they tax income from savings and investments. Our investigation showed that advanced economies more actively used the regulatory mechanisms of tax policy to stimulate new research and development, to increase investment in science-intensive production sectors. We propose the statements for introducing an investment tax credit on R&D, which is given at the initial stage of the innovation process and is calculated based on the amount of investment in the creation of qualified tangible and intangible assets, reducing the amount of actually accrued tax, which would stimulate capital investments in science-intensive sectors of the economy; an investment deduction of expenditures on R&D, which is calculated as a percentage from the sum of the actual or estimated costs for the creation, acquisition, or reconstruction of certain qualified types of tangible and intangible assets. In the survey a balanced approach to the tax policy in order to create financial conditions to counteract import expansion and to stimulate domestic export-oriented manufacturers is presented. Moreover, we proposed the tax incentives for the institutional motivational mechanism to stimulate economic development based on the innovative-investment approach, which would comply with the basic principles and guidelines of the advanced economic development.

The logistics industry is the integration of transport, warehousing, freight forwarding and information industries, such as a composite service industry, is an important part of the national economy, involving wide areas, absorbing large employment, promoting production and consumption, it is always playing a positive role. Logistics has played an important role in promoting the industry structural adjustment, which can change the mode of economic development and enhance the competitiveness of the national economy. Logistics industry is relying on the industries, through the study of industrial supply chain logistics system architecture model, and submits the corresponding industry-based supply chain logistics network planning model, and propose relevant countermeasures and proposals based on the logistics industry in Yunnan Province as empirical Measure. The study of logistics can be start with three basic levels that is the enterprise logistics, trade logistics, and social logistics, finally to build a highly efficient, integrated logistics system of society. Construction of industrial supply chain logistics system, through the construction of industrial supply chain logistics system so that to integrate the social logistics resources of industry as a whole, to achieve large scale, efficiency, integration, can play a role in promoting socio-economic development .

Economic growth of the country is part of economic development, as development is the phenomenon which follows growth and involves not only an increase in the total output but also a change in the structural and institutional factors that operate in economy and a welfare quotient. India has been observing an economic phenomenon called the stagflation, which has slowed economic growth in country and thus economic development The objective of this paper is on growth witnessed in India and reasons why growth rate after displaying great momentum has reduced in past two years which has also reduced the level of development. Paper has also explored various measures of the economic development in an economy. The paper tries to estimate the reasons for stagflation in the economy and probable solutions to it. KEYWORDS: economic development, economic growth, stagflation,

The Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai areas are important areas for my country’s economic development. Its logistics industry is showing a trend of great development, but economic development has also caused considerable pressure on the environment. The paper uses the energy coefficient method to estimate the carbon emissions of the logistics industry in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai from 2003 to 2016, and quantitatively analyzes the five factors of energy structure, energy efficiency, industrial structure, economic growth and population. The research results show that the energy structure factors and industrial structure factors in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions have a restraining effect on the increase in carbon emissions of the logistics industry, while energy efficiency factors, demographic factors and economic growth factors have an effect on the carbon emissions of the logistics industry. The increase in emissions has a boosting effect. Finally, from the aspects of improving energy efficiency, energy structure, industrial structure, etc., it puts forward specific suggestions and countermeasures for the development of green logistics in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.

This paper introduced the stepwise regression analysis principle, grey correlation analysis and Kalman filter. Aiming at the situation of more impact factors on a certain dam deformation, a new algorithm for Kalman filter based on grey correlation analysis is given. It takes the horizontal deformation of a certain dam for example, through the grey correlation analysis to discuss the correlation degree of various impact factors and establish grey correlation Kalman filter model, and carry out comparison analysis of stepwise regression model. The results show that both two kinds of models have a better precision, but the grey relational Kalman filter presents higher synthesis accuracy and can provide more accurate prediction results.

In this analytical review the author describes the main trends in the modern heterodox political economy as an alternative to mainstream economics. Historical specificity as well as the contradictory and uneven character of economic development are examined in detail. The author also discusses problems of class, gender and ethnic discrimination and their influence on economic growth. It is shown that there are tendencies to convergence of different theoretical perspectives and schools, common themes, topics of research and conceptual apparatus are being formed. The forces of integration and differentiation help establish new ideas and receive interesting scientific results in such fields as development economics, macroeconomics and international economics.
