Recently, the titania photocatalyst has been widely used in the environmental fields. However, because the past titania photocatalyst used only the range of ultraviolet rays, the usage has been limited. We attempted to develop a new type of titania photocatalyst that activates to respond not only in the ultraviolet rays region but also in the visible radiation region. The titania photocatalyst fine particles that zirconium oxide was uniformly added in the titania fine particles, and introduced simultaneously nitrogen into the crystal lattice in addition were synthesized. It was showed the high photo-absorption ability of the titania photocatalyst added the zirconium compared with not done by the absorption spectrum. Furthermore, it was found that the titania fine particles that introduced nitrogen colored to yellow, had also the high photo-absorption ability in the visible range of 600nm to 400nm in addition to the range of ultraviolet rays. It was thought that this depended on the reason based on the difference of the amount of the nitrogen introduction in the titania that originated in the zirconium. Moreover, it was compared the stability maintenance for the titania introduced nitrogen with it not done by the bleaching test of heating. As a result, the stability of the titania added the zirconium was higher than not added.

The stability of a steady-state front (kink) subject to a time-delayed feedback control (TDFC) is examined in detail. TDFC is based on the use of the difference between system variables at the current moment of time and their values at some time in the past. We first show that there exists a bifurcation to a moving front. We then investigate the limit of large delays but weak feedback and obtain a global bifurcation diagram for the propagation speed. Finally, we examine the case of a two-dimensional front with radial symmetry and determine the critical radius above which propagation is possible.

The interaction between impeller and volute produces a complex and unsteady water flow. It involves the interference of the non-uniform flow (such as the impeller’s jet wake and a secondary flow). In this paper, the transient flow in a new type of dishwasher pump is investigated numerically. In addition, pressure measurements are used to validate the numerical method, and the simulation results agree well with the experiment. Three schemes, 0 rpm (revolutions per minute)/30 rpm/60 rpm, of volute speeds are investigated. Multiple monitoring points are set at different positions of the new dishwasher pump to record pressure-pulse signals. In addition, frequency signals are obtained using a Fast Fourier Transform, which is then used to analyze the effect of the volute tongue and the outflow of the impeller. The radial force on the principal axis is recorded, and the schemes with different rotation speeds of volute are compared. The results show that the volute speed has only a small effect on the pump performance. In addition, the speed of the volute mainly affects the flow field in the transition section located between impeller and volute. The difference of the flow field in the impeller depends on the relative position between the impeller and the volute. The time domain curve for the pressure pulse is periodic, and there is a deviation between the peak for the schemes in the outflow region. In the frequency domain, the characteristic frequency equals the blade passing frequency. In the outflow region, the effect of the volute speeds increases with increasing volute speed. For the radial force, the rotating volute strengthens the fluctuation of the radial force, which affects the operational stability of the pump. The shape of the vector distribution is most regular for the 30 rpm scheme, which indicates that the stability of the pump is the highest. This paper can be used to improve both the control and selection of volute speeds.

SummaryIn 4 collaborative trials, involving a varying number of hospital laboratories in the Stockholm area, the coagulation activity of different test materials was estimated with the one-stage prothrombin tests routinely used in the laboratories, viz. Normotest, Simplastin-A and Thrombotest. The test materials included different batches of a lyophilized reference plasma, deep-frozen specimens of diluted and undiluted normal plasmas, and fresh and deep-frozen specimens from patients on long-term oral anticoagulant therapy.Although a close relationship was found between different methods, Simplastin-A gave consistently lower values than Normotest, the difference being proportional to the estimated activity. The discrepancy was of about the same magnitude on all the test materials, and was probably due to a divergence between the manufacturers’ procedures used to set “normal percentage activity”, as well as to a varying ratio of measured activity to plasma concentration. The extent of discrepancy may vary with the batch-to-batch variation of thromboplastin reagents. The close agreement between results obtained on different test materials suggests that the investigated reference plasma could be used to calibrate the examined thromboplastin reagents, and to compare the degree of hypocoagulability estimated by the examined PIVKA-insensitive thromboplastin reagents. The assigned coagulation activity of different batches of the reference plasma agreed closely with experimentally obtained values. The stability of supplied batches was satisfactory as judged from the reproducibility of repeated measurements. The variability of test procedures was approximately the same on different test materials.

We cannot be sure exactly what will happen, we can only estimate by using a particular method, where each method must have the formula to create a regression equation and a formula to calculate the confidence level of the estimated value. This paper conveys a method of estimating the future values, in which the formula for creating a regression equation is based on the assumption that the future value will depend on the difference of the past values divided by a weight factor which corresponding to the time span to the present, and the formula for calculating the level of confidence is to use "the Haryadi Index". The advantage of this method is to remain accurate regardless of the sample size and may ignore the past value that is considered irrelevant.

The problem of obtaining a homogeneous composition of the coatings is reduced to the proper selection of film-forming agents, and diluent and, if appropriate, diluents and additives. On the basis of the theory of solubility, we have carried out the assessment of the compatibility of the components and stability of such systems. The evaluation criteria were adopted the parameters of the solubility and thermodynamic interaction. Researched the compatibility with alkyd varnishes aminoformaldehyde resin in butanol, and the results of these studies are presented in the triangular phase diagram. To evaluate the compatibility of the resins according to the results of calculation of thermodynamic parameters of interaction were built spinodal for ternary systems. As the analysis of the results of the studies, even when the difference ??|?12 – ?13| = 0,2 there is a small area of incompatibility. With the decrease of the difference ? ? region incompatibility narrows. When ?23> ?с region incompatibility extends to ?? = 0,2, and for ?? = 0.1 and ?? = 0. Thus, for such systems, compatibility of components, primarily, affects their interaction with each other – the further away it is, the better they are compatible. Studies have shown that the partial solubility parameters, which take into account the nature of cohesive forces, more objectively characterize the solubility of film-forming resins in organic solvents than their total solubility parameter. The solubility and film-forming aminoformaldehyde esterified alkyd resins in organic solvents due to thermodynamic interaction of molecular forces of different nature. Тhe stability of the mixture and aminoformaldehyde esterified alkyd resin in butanol is generated largely by thermodynamic forces of molecular interaction; the degree of butanolate melamine-formaldehyde resin has the greatest effect on the stability of the system. Conducted research on the stability of the paint mixtures of various film-forming resins on the basis of the evaluation criteria can be used to improve the technology of protective and decorative wood finish.

Aims: The aim of our study is to understand the biophysical traits that govern the stability and folding of Synechocystis hemoglobin, a unique cyanobacterial globin that displays unusual traits not observed in any of the other globins discovered so far. Background: For the past few decades, classical hemoglobins such as vertebrate hemoglobin and myoglobin have been extensively studied to unravel the stability and folding mechanisms of hemoglobins. However, the expanding wealth of hemoglobins identified in all life forms with novel properties, like heme coordination chemistry and globin fold, have added complexity and challenges to the understanding of hemoglobin stability, which has not been adequately addressed. Here, we explored the unique truncated and hexacoordinate hemoglobin from the freshwater cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 known as “Synechocystis hemoglobin (SynHb)”. The “three histidines” linkages to heme are novel to this cyanobacterial hemoglobin. Objective: Mutational studies were employed to decipher the residues within the heme pocket that dictate the stability and folding of SynHb. Methods: Site-directed mutants of SynHb were generated and analyzed using a repertoire of spectroscopic and calorimetric tools. Result: The results revealed that the heme was stably associated to the protein under all denaturing conditions with His117 playing the anchoring role. The studies also highlighted the possibility of existence of a “molten globule” like intermediate at acidic pH in this exceptionally thermostable globin. His117 and other key residues in the heme pocket play an indispensable role in imparting significant polypeptide stability. Conclusion: Synechocystis hemoglobin presents an important model system for investigations of protein folding and stability in general. The heme pocket residues influenced the folding and stability of SynHb in a very subtle and specific manner and may have been optimized to make this Hb the most stable known as of date. Other: The knowledge gained hereby about the influence of heme pocket amino acid side chains on stability and expression is currently being utilized to improve the stability of recombinant human Hbs for efficient use as oxygen delivery vehicles.

The purpose of this study is to explore the stability and interaction between parental pressure and social research report, as well as the role of employment status and family income levels in this process. This study used a special study on Korean children (PSKC) 2–4 waves. Use t-test, correlation and autoregressive cross-delay modeling to analyze the data. The main findings of this study are: First, over time, parental pressure and mother’s social research report are consistent. Secondly, the pressure of motherhood and childcare has an obvious lagging effect on upbringing, and vice versa. Third, there is no significant difference between working mothers and non-working mothers in terms of the stability of working parents' pressure, social research report and social research report for children's pressure channels. However, parental pressure can only predict the social research report of working mothers. Fourth, there is no significant difference between the stability and interaction of these two structures in household income levels. In short, the results show that, over time, parental pressure is consistent with mother’s social research report. The results also show that there is a significant cross-lag effect between the mothers’ perceptions of mutual pressure analysis. In the process from parental pressure to social research report, I found the difference between working and non-working mothers. The advantage of this study is that the expected longitudinal design was adopted during infancy and the priority between the two structures can be considered. The results of this study can be used as a source of intervention plans to help parents withstand severe parenting pressure and lack of social research report.
