Background: The success of breastfeeding among post-cesarean-section mothers requires strong willingness and commitment, self-confidence, support from various professionals, and internal support (especially from their husband) and the belief and value of their family. Exclusive breastfeeding remains low in some cities such as in West Java, especially in post-cesarean-section mothers, who are influenced by certain factors. The purpose of this study is to identify husbands’ role and their support for post-cesarean-section mothers in exclusive breastfeeding.Design and Methods: This study used a qualitative phenomenological approach. with a combination of different data collection techniques: focus group discussion and in-depth interviews. Twelve husbands of post-cesarean-section mothers participated in this study. Data were analyzed by thematic content analysis.Results: Four themes were identified namely knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, the role of the father during breastfeeding, the experience of the husband and the family in supporting breastfeeding, and Women’s lack of knowledge, inconvenience due to pain as the most impending factors of exclusive breastfeeding.Conclusion: Most fathers seem eager to be involved and assist their partners to give breastfeeding to their baby.  Furthermore, adequate support from family members, health care professionals, and employers can enable fathers to encourage and help their partners initiate and maintain exclusive breastfeeding. Fathers’ emotional, practical, and physical supports are also important factors that promote successful breastfeeding and enrich the experience of mothers.

<em>The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of technology in the production situation for competitiveness in small embroidery industries. It also relates to the analysis of choices for the use of technology and changes in the workforce situation. The study was conducted at the small embroidery industrial center in Bangil, Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. Data collection through in-depth interviews with informants business owners and workers. A qualitative phenomenological approach was used in this study. Data is processed and analyzed inductively. The findings are obtained that the technological needs in the production process cannot be avoided due to efforts to improve product competitiveness. The impact of these efforts forced business owners to rethink and manage their technology and workforce needs. The provision of technology is the main skill for workers so that workers also make efforts to improve the quality of embroidery with computer machines and complete orders on time. The implication of this research is expected to be able to provide enrichment in understanding the concept of sustainability of small businesses which is focused on the issue of choice of technology use and labor use.</em>

This study aims to analyze the effect of professionalism and the existence of inspectorate on the quality of health center financial statements in Situbondo Regency. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach because it deals with social phenomena as well as their interactions with certain environments and conditions. Informants are selected from health center’s accounting personnel. The method of collecting data is focus group discussion. The results show that professionalism has an effect on the quality of financial statements because professional employees are skilled employees in the field and will carry out their tasks seriously and responsibly, understand the rules, be objective and be oriented to quality results. The existence of inspectorates encourages the health center to conduct financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards because of the aspects of supervision and coaching.

One of the tasks of human development is to discover its identity. There are many ways a person can find that identity. One of them is through the identification of the idol figure. This study aims to understand the process of identity formation through the identification of shadow puppet figures in the context of Javanese culture. A qualitative phenomenological approach was used to understand the process retrospectively. Three main participants were involved in the study. The process of collecting data was done through in-depth interview methods to both the main participants and their significant others. FGD (focused group discussion) is also conducted to explore participants' understanding of their process of identity formation. Data analysis was done by phenomenological method. This study found three main themes, namely interested in shadow puppet figures, matching self-image with puppet characters, and the use of feeling as a bridge between self and the puppet. This study concluded that shadow puppets can be used as a means to find identity among their fans.

Introduction: Children with intellectual disability have the same sexual needs as the average children. Parents are their children’s primary sex educators, but many parents are afraid of talking to their children about sex. The purpose of this study to explore the perception of parents in providing sex education to children with intellectual disability. Methods: A qualitative study using phenomenological approach. Focus group discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews (face-to-face) with ten parents having children with mild or moderate intellectual disability, aged nine-eighteen years registered at SLB Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. Colaizzi method was used to identify core themes and patterns. Results: Four themes were found: the importance of sex education for children with intellectual disability, the mother has the most important role in providing sex education, the distinction of sex education for children with intellectual disability, religion is important in sex education. Conclusions: Perception of parents in providing sex education to children with intellectual disability is different from parents with normal children. Parents should be earlier deliver sex education to protect them from sex abuse and the method of giving sex education with practice. The role of parents, especially mother is very important to provide sex education than father.

Measles is a contagious disease that poses a health problem in infants and children in Indonesia and is a disease that can be prevented by immunization, measles immunization managed to lose 15.6 million (75%) of measles deaths worldwide .In Puskesmas Labuhan Deli immunization against measles in 2014 has almost reached the target of 89.6% whereas in 2015 measles immunization rates of 98.6%, the incidence of measles in 2014 does not exist, but in 2015 the measles of 4 people. Goals : The purpose of research To analyze the Behavior Mothers Against Measles disease events in Puskesmas Kecamatan Labuhan Deli Serdang 2016. Methods : The method used qualitative phenomenological approach. Subject of research that mothers of children with measles who are domiciled in the District Labuhan Deli 2016 with data collection snowball sampling. Data were collected through interviews and documentation study. Data analysis Colaizzi approach. Result : The results showed maternal knowledge about measles is still low. Mother's attitude toward the incidence of measles 2 positive outlook and 2 negative view .Action mother in the incidence of measles is not in accordance with the handling of measles. Conclution : Based on the research, suggested to the family to provide support to mothers in order to pay more attention to their children's health, and the health professionals in order to provide education on immunization against measles and measles.

Carrying out the role of a mother is not easy, especially for a teenage girl. Pregnant, giving birth and caring for a baby has its challenges for adolescent girls. The purpose of this study is to explore deeply the experiences of adolescent girls in carrying out their roles as mothers. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out by using in-depth interviews with seven informants. Data analysis was performed using the Moustakas content analysis thematic approach. This study produced three broad themes. The first theme is that young women do not give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies. The second theme is that adolescent girls cannot do basic baby care. The third theme is teenage girls not knowing the process of pregnancy. The young age and growth and development are not optimal making adolescent girls have difficulty in carrying out the role of motherhood. Lack of knowledge and experience causes adolescent girls are not optimal in providing the best for their children. Nurses especially maternity nurses can provide health education to adolescent girls in caring for newborns. Nurses can also educate adolescent girls to prepare themselves before deciding to become a mother.Keywords: Teenage mother; Maternity nurse; Newborn baby; Exclusive breastfeeding

Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the personal experiences of the teacher-participants in the teaching of Technology and Livelihood Education. It also ascertained and met the following objectives: 1) determine the teaching experiences of the TLE teachers; 2) to identify the training needs of TLE teachers; 3) ascertain the challenges faced by the TLE teachers; 3) discover the pedagogy and strategies used by the TLE teachers; and 4) find out the recommendations of the TLE teachers to improve the delivery of the course. Study Design: Qualitative-phenomenological approach. Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted in Sta Cruz National High School, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. The study was conducted for 6 months. Methodology: The researchers purposely chose all the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers. The information were gathered through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Results: Six themes emerged from the data analysis. Generally, the teacher-participants found teaching of TLE subject was challenging because the activities were focused on exploration. Moreover, they felt satisfied because they were able to share their knowledge and skills to their students. It implies that the TLE teachers were committed and dedicated to their jobs despite the difficulties they encountered. However, the teacher-participants revealed that generally, they were not sent outside of the school to attend training-seminar for skills enhancement. It is an indication that the school heads lack concern for their teachers’ professional development. In addressing the challenges of the teachers, they collaborate with each other by sharing their resources. Despite the challenges they encountered, they were still optimistic to be globally competitive.  It implies that the TLE teachers do not give up easily. They suggested that the school administration needed to develop the participants’ personal character so that their teaching goals were met. Conclusion: The TLE teachers loved and enjoyed their teaching jobs despite the challenges they faced. However, they clamored to the Department of Education (DepEd) to address their needs such as sending them to trainings and seminar-workshop to enhance their skills and capabilities. To show their dedication to their jobs, they brought their own tools and shared the same to other teachers. Notably, the participants only used three teaching strategies. It shows that TLE teachers lack the knowledge of other teaching strategies. The participants were optimistic that sooner or later their TLE programs are accredited and recognized locally and internationally. This implies that the participants were committed to their jobs. Ironically, they suggested that improvement of the teachers’ self was better than improving the TLE implementation. This shows that the teachers believed that materials can be easily acquired but not the attitude.

This study aims to determine: 1). Implementation of paguponliteracy at Muhammadiyah Bantul City Elementary School; 2) To what extent Pagupon literacy can increase reading interest in students; 3). The role of schools in empowering literacy pagupons as an effort to increase student interest in reading at SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. Sources of data are teachers, principals, librarians, data collection techniques by observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research results are as follows: 1). Muhammadiyah Bantul City Elementary School has empowered literacy through literacy pagupon effectively and optimally. It is proven that many students like to visit the pagupon which is in the front yard of the school library, the students are diligent in reading the books placed on the pagupon, the students are enthusiastic and interested in continuing to take books from the pagupon to be studied in turn; learning is not only done in the classroom but also in front of the pagupon (Pagupon literacy camp); 2) The existence of the pagupon can attract students to read the books provided in the paguponliteracy. 3) The role of teachers, school principals and librarians is very optimal in providing exemplary, improving facilities and books in the pagupon, the teacher invites students to always analyze books read together, and motivates students to always visit pagupons to increase knowledge.

During adolescence or many students experience a period of ambivalence (ambivalence). On the one hand, they still want to be comfortable living under the protection and love of their parents, but on the other hand they want to develop independently or independently. It is in these situations and conditions that often rebel teenagers and want to impose their will. This is the situation that happened in the Nahdlatul Ulama Juntinyuat High School (SMA NU Juntinyuat) in Indramayu district, finding students who consumed addictive substances. So that it causes behavior that is not appropriate for students in general. Based on the above background, the authors conducted research with the aim of revealing how the role of Islamic religious education teachers in the implementation of the anti-drug movement program as an effort to prevent the use of addictive substances in students at SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu with research objectives: (1) To determine the implementation of the movement program anti drugs at SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu. (2) To determine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in efforts to prevent the use of addictive substances in students at SMA NU Juntinyuat. (3) This is to determine the relationship between the anti-drug movement program and efforts to prevent the use of addictive substances by students at SMA NU Juntinyuat. The author in this research uses qualitative research methods. The type of qualitative research that the author uses is a case study. Data collection is carried out by observation, documentation, interview techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research information. The conclusion of this study is that the results of the anti-drug movement program implemented in SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu succeeded in regaining students' self-confidence. This is known from the decrease in students who are addictive substances. Abstak Pada masa remaja atau siswa banyak mengalami masa ambivalensi (sikap mendua). Di satu sisi meraka masih ingin mendapat kenyamanan hidup di bawah perlindungan dan kasih sayang orang tua, tetapi di sisi lain mereka ingin pula berkembang secara independen atau mandiri.[1] Dalam situasi dan kondisi yang membimbangkan inilah remaja sering memberontak dan ingin memaksakan kehendaknya. Inilah situasi yang terjadi di Sekolah Menengah Atas Nahdlatul Ulama Juntinyuat (SMA NU Juntinyuat)kabupaten Indramayu, menemukan siswa yang mengkonsumsi zat adiktif. Sehingga menimbulkan perilaku yang tidak sewajarnya selayaknya pelajar pada umumnya. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana peran guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam implementasi program gerakan anti narkoba sebagai upaya pencegahan penggunaan zat adiktif pada siswa di SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu dengan tujuan penelitian: (1) Untuk mengetahui implementasi program gerakan anti narkoba di SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu. (2) Untuk mengetahui peran guru pendidikan agama Islamdalam upaya  mencegah penggunaan zat adiktif pada siswa di SMA NU Juntinyuat. (3) Untuk mengetahui keterkaitan program gerakan anti narkoba dengan upaya mencegah penggunaan zat adiktif oleh siswa di SMA NU Juntinyuat. Penulis dalam riset ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif. Jenis penelitian Kualitatif yang penulis gunakan adalah Studi Kasus.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dpkumentasi, wawancara.Teknik analisis data meliputi meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Informan penelitian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Hasil Program gerakan anti narkoba yang diterapkan di SMA NU Juntinyuat Indramayu ini berhasil menumbuhkan kembali rasa percaya diri siswa. Hal ini diketahui dari berkurangnya siswa yang ketergantungan zat adiktif..
