This study aims to find out information related to the needs of interactive multimedia with a contextual approach as a science learning media. This research is a research and development that refers to the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations, and interviews and relevant literature studies. The population in this study is SMP Negeri 1 Jember. The samples in this study were 80 students of class VII and teachers of natural science subjects. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study were obtained that the learning media used are still limited to textbooks and worksheets and there is no use of interactive multimedia so it is necessary to do interactive multimedia development on natural science materials especially environmental pollution materials that are appropriate to the needs of students in order to achieve learning objectives. Based on this it can be concluded that interactive multimedia with a contextual approach is needed to be developed in natural science subjects.

Research and development of interactive multimedia development model is adapted from Lee & Owens;the steps were analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of learningmaterials proportion analysis based curriculum: tissues: organs: totipotensi was 40%: 40%: 20%. Theresults of need analysis of science process skills indicated that students are lack of ability in terms ofgrouping and concluding skill. The analysis also reveals that students need multimedia, which isinteresting and aesthetics. In the design phase, developers create a storyboard based on the results of theanalysis. In development stage, we input all information in storyboard to the media. According to mediaexperts, the product is scored well and very well. Trials phase is conducted in a small groups and largegroups. The results of tests shows that the skills of students increased from 69.34 to 89.30, and knowledgeof students also increased from 75.7 to 91.9. The effectiveness of interactive multimedia structure andfunction of plant tissue seen by the changes in knowledge, performance, and the positive response ofstudents using interactive multimedia and facilitate students doing science process skills.

In phonology, students will be familiar with phonetics which is specifically emphasize phonetics’ articulation and the sound. This study used Research and Development method. Researchers developed Interactive Multimedia Power Point Presentation (IMPPT) which can be used to teach phonetics. There are some stages done to develop IMPPT. Those stages are need analysis, data collection, product design and validation, and product testing. Product testing was also carried out as a consideration for the next steps. If the result was not satisfied, the researcher revised the design to obtain the final product. There were three aspects concerned as criteria of IMPPT, namely visual aspect, audio aspect, and material aspect. Those three aspects were validated based on assessment rubrics made by researcher. The range in the rubric is 1-5. The visual aspect showed the highest percentage, in which it was 35%. The second highest percentage was audio aspect. In material aspect, the total score was 23 (32%).

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of physics teachers in Lampung regarding interactive multimedia. Because many studies have proven the importance of using media in learning, it is necessary to conduct studies to reveal what media are needed to support static fluid learning according to the perceptions of physics teachers in Lampung. The analysis was carried out by providing a needs analysis questionnaire regarding learning media for static fluid material to 32 physics teachers in Lampung. Respondents were physics teachers with educational qualifications for Strata 1 and Strata 2, with 12 male respondents and 20 female respondents. Data presented in descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that 88% of physics teachers need learning media that contains writing, pictures, animation, video, and audio to facilitate various learning styles and can train students’ creative thinking skills during online learning. Based on these findings, it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia to train creative thinking skill on static fluid topic.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the verb conjugation process of German, Bahasa, and English. This study used a contrastive analysis which is one of approaches in applied linguistics. Data consisted of words and sentences in German, Bahasa, and English, and were analyzed descriptively. This article is a preliminary study which aims to do need analysis in developing German grammar book based contrastive analysis approach. Finding shows that there are 4 factors causing verb of a sentence should be conjugated: 1) Verb Conjugation Adjusted with Person as Subject,  2) Verb Conjugation Adjusted with active-passive voice sentence, 3) Verb Conjugation Adjusted with tenses of sentence, 4) Verb Conjugation Adjusted with quantifier factor of sentence subject.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan laboratorium virtual dan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran pada praktikum titrasi asam basa. Diharapkan produk yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan berbasis produk Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari tiga fase yaitu fase analisis kebutuhan, fase desain, dan fase pengembangan/implementasi. Subjek uji coba produk pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA3 SMA Negeri 6 Takalar dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk semua item dan aspek yang diukur, penilaian kevalidan media memperoleh kriteria valid, penilaian kepraktisan media berada pada kategori praktis dan keefektifan dengan N-gain = 0.785 dengan kategori tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut menujukkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori valid, praktis dan efektif, sehingga dapat disimpulkan media laboratorium virtual berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci  : Laboratorium Virtual, Multimedia Interaktif, Titrasi Asam-basa. ABSTRACTThis research aims to develop virtual laboratory in order to find its validity, practicality, and effectiveness of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment. It is expected that the product developed can improve learning outcomes. This developing research uses a developing model based on Hannafin and Peck  product. It contains three phases which are need analysis phase, design phase, and developing or implementing phase. The subjects of this developing product are 28 students of SMA Negeri 6 Takalar class XI MIA3. In collecting the data, the researcher applies questionnaire using Likert Scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics analysis. The findings of this research show valid of all aspects and items that have been measured for its validity and pratical for its media practicality and effective with the pretest-posttest show gain = 0.785 high category. It is concluded that the developing of virtual laboratory interactive multimedia based in acids bases titration experiment proves as valid, practical, and effective which can be properly applied as the learning media. Keywords: Virtual Laboratory, Interactive Multimedia, Acids Bases Tiration

Abstract The pandemic that has not ended has an impact on changing the educational paradigm. Existing conditions demand to continue to use virtual learning. During the epidemic, this study will examine students’ demand for interactive multimedia in virtual learning. The interviews reveal that the media that teachers provide in virtual learning during this pandemic has limits. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires given to teachers and students. The student requirements questionnaire reveals that interactive multimedia is the most effective instructional medium for pupils. This study is part of a larger investigation of the evolution of multimedia learning during a pandemic.

<p><em>The cadets need to master Maritime English skills to communicate between ship and shore, between crew members, between crew and captain, between crew and passangers. So, the cadets’ efficiency in English is highly expected. Therefore, the purpose of this research are to find out the the needs of maritime cadets in English for Specific Purposes class and problem/s faced by Nautical cadets in Maritime English class</em><em>. Population sampling for this research is</em> <em>Nautical cadets of </em>STIMART "AMNI" Semarang on <em>English for Specific Purpose</em> <em>in Maritime English class.</em> <em>This research uses need analysis approach to interpret the data and using qualitative approach to describe the data. The results of this research are the language abilities that the maritime cadets mostly needed is speaking with 75%. And current problems that faced by cadets toward Maritime English course is</em> <em>cadets find difficulties to master in pronunciation and speaking skill because of their anxiety to make a mistake also lack of time allocation in Maritime English course</em><em>.</em> <em>Need analysis is important thing in teaching learning process, especially in English for Specific Purposes. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan taruna akademi maritim akan <em>English for Specific Purposes</em> di kelas  Bahasa Inggris Maritim. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah taruna Program Studi D3 Nautika STIMART "AMNI" Semarang di kelas <em>English for Specific Purpose</em> Bahasa Inggris Maritim. Penelitian ini menggunakan <em>Need Analysis Approach</em> untuk menginterpretasikan data dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menjelaskan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan bahasa yang paling dibutuhkan oleh taruna akademi maritim yaitu berbicara dengan 75%. Dan masalah yang dihadapi taruna dalam kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di kelas Bahasa Inggris Maritim yaitu menemukan kesulitan untuk menguasai keterampilan pengucapan dan berbicara karena kecemasan untuk membuat kesalahan juga kurangnya alokasi waktu dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Maritim. Analisis kebutuhan adalah hal yang penting dalam proses belajar mengajar, terutama dalam <em>English for Specific Purposes</em>. The purpose of this research is to collect initial information to develop interactive multimedia based on Adobe Flash. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The method used to collect data was done through interviews with biology teachers and distributing observation questionnaires to students of class XI MIPA. In addition, the results of daily tests obtained by students are also used as data in this study. The results of the study revealed that students had difficulty in understanding the material on Cells and Cell Bioprocess, this is because this material has many submaterials and is abstract. In addition, the media used by the teacher is also not effective in overcoming the learning difficulties of students, as well as the varied learning styles of students. This makes students look less active and causes the low value of student learning outcomes or is still under the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Therefore, interactive multimedia based on Adobe Flash is needed on Cells and Cell Bioprocess materials for class XI SMA/MA.
