In the last few years, gambling and betting opportunities have been increasing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, leading to an increase in  pathological gambling. Pathological gambling is considered by experts to be an instinct control disorder, i.e. the inability to refrain from an instinct that at the same time causes pleasure to a person, but is also dangerous for them and the people around them as it seriously disrupts not only the physical, emotional, mental and material state of the individual, but affects their families and friends also. In order to examine the most common forms of gambling and betting as well as socio-demographic aspects and their characteristics among Bosniaks in BiH, in the period April-May 2019, on a sample of N = 1520 respondents, a survey was conducted in 62 municipalities in BiH. Respondents ranged from 18-77 years old, of whom 568 were women and 927 were men. While defining the sample for the purposes of this research, a two-stage stratification was performed, namely: stratification at the administrative level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the type of settlement, respecting the principle of proportional representation of municipalities within entity/cantons. Data was collected via a structured face-to-face interviews with closed questions to which handwritten answers were given. The data collection was done through the Network of Youth and Directorate for Religious Affairs of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The results suggest persisting differences in the perception of the most common forms of gambling and betting, where bingo, disposable lottery tickets/scrapers, lotto and sports betting are perceived to be the most common. The most widespread types of gambling are influenced by the socio-demographic variables such as gender, place of residence, level of education, age and monthly household income.

Technology-rich environments are assuming a key role in the individual learning processes. Still, one of the major IT challenges identified in the education field is to establish e-learning as a credible and viable complement to face-to-face education. This represents a paradigm shift in the way of learning, which is driving changes at individual, process, institutional, and societal levels. However, despite last-decade advances in the application of usability principles in system design, there is still a need to better understand the people-technology fit in learning contexts. Current results, gaps, and issues define the challenges that dictate new requirements. Among these new requirements, minimizing the impact of the distance factor on communication and learning effectiveness calls for alternatives approaches. Due to the importance of communication among instructor and students in learning, the scope of this work focuses on exploring the role of emotions within the user and learning-support technology fit.

This article analyzes the willingness to pay of Costa Rican consumers for three environmental certifications in the coffee market, namely, Carbon Neutral, Fairtrade, and ISO 14001. A face-to-face survey was applied to 1191 Costa Rican inhabitants. The results show that Costa Rican consumers are willing to pay price premiums around 30% for all the considered environmental certifications. In addition, a Cragg’s hurdle model shows that household income, the level of education, and environmental or community activism increase the likelihood of consumers paying price premiums for environmental certifications, while men are less likely to pay than women. It was also found that the size of the price premiums that respondents are willing to pay are positively related to income, gender (female), and education, and negatively related to age. Once the effect of socioeconomic variables has been controlled for, we conclude that consumers are more willing to pay for the CN certification than for the other two. The results can be useful for participants in the coffee value chain; coffee producers can use environmental certifications both to enhance their participation in green markets, particularly in developing countries, and to improve their environmental performance.

This study is aimed to examine variables that determine mobile banking resistance among banking customer in Mataram. The study included independent variables to a logistic regression model to predict mobile banking adoption or non-adoption. Referring Theory of Innovation Resistance that proposed by Ram and Sheth’s (1989), the study examined the effect of resistance barriers variables i.e. usage barrier, value barrier, risk barrier, tradition barrier and image barrier on mobile banking resistance. In addition, the study examined demographic factors i.e. gender, age, level of education and household income. Total respondents were 234, who were of customers of BRI, BCA and Mandiri in Mataram who use mobile devices (cellular phones, smartphones, tablets). Data were analyzed using Binary Logistic Regression because the dependent variable i.e. mobile banking resistance is measured by a binary scale, 0 for “user” and 1 for “non-user”. The results showed that usage barrier, value barrier, and risk barrier had a positive significant effect on mobile banking resistance. Among demographic variables, only gender and age had a significant effect on mobile banking resistance, while household income and level of education had a non-significant effect. Keywords: mobile banking, resistance barriers, innovation resistance, logistic regression

Social Advertisements is an influential device for social change. Social advertising is a process of changes in the behaviour is to be positive for promoting social issues through marketing and advertising principles From Social advertising change in behaviour to the individual targeted groups, make them to accept with a behaviour of new-fangled, discard a old behaviour, amend a present behaviour. Social advertising intends to confines targeted customers who wants to change, mutate or reject certain practices such as smoking, drinking, etc. and stimulate them to carry out socially desirable actions. We can see that organizations like UNICEF, UNESCO have used Social advertising for various purposes and with various degrees of success all across the world. Actions are based on thoughts, Practices are based on Attitudes, The people who are having favourable attitudes and they are having favourable practices. The consequences of both primary & secondary data are related to each other which determine that the attitude and practices are interweaved to each other. Therefore the study deduces that there is association between the attitude and practices of health and hygiene. A sample size of 275 was considered and stratified random sampling technique was adopted for this uni-dimensional study which has been carried out with emphasis upon three major demographic variablesDistrict, Area and Gender. Considering these variables as strata, a sample was collected from the respondents belonging to the different established strata in the form of questionnaires. Questionnaires were developed in consultation with experts which are having high reliability scores. After the collection of data, the data was subjected to both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis based on the hypotheses formulated using SPSS (version 22.0). The inference of the study was that people who were regularly exposed to social advertisements gained a high level of awareness about health &hygiene, and developed favourable attitude and practices through attitude and practices.

Abstract Leadership being a process of social influence, it is imperative to train true leaders, emotionally intelligent, able to motivate and mobilize people in the organizations they lead, in order to achieve beneficial results for all parties involved: organizations, leaders, disciples. Within the military organization, the military leader must fulfill his mission in theaters of operations, not in the context of the “the end justifies the means”, not by minimizing the human component “ stepping over bodies”, but by exercising effective servant leadership from a multicultural perspective. The leader-subordinate relationship is reciprocal and influences both the performance of the individual and the organizational one. Leadership can be based on a personality trait or can be seen as a behavioral category, being related to motivation, interpersonal behavior and the communication process. Good leadership involves the actual process of delegation, but not before leaders form and train other leaders, as real leadership is exercised “face to face” and trough interaction. The fundamental premise from which we start our approach is that the leader matters, that the people at the top of the hierarchy certainly influence the efficiency of any organization. By setting standards, goals and priorities a leader can bring about changes in daily performance. It can permanently influence the meaning of the evolution of the organization by establishing a strategic vision and formulating long-term objectives.

Starting from the cry of the seraphim in Isaiahʹ s prophecy, this article aims to follow the rhythm of the sacred harmony, transcending the symbols of the angelic world and of the divine names, to get to the face to face meeting between man and God, just as the seraphim, reflecting their existence, stand face to face. The finality of the sacred harmony is that, during the search for God inside the human being, He reveals Himself, which is the reason for the affirmation of “I Am that I Am.” Through its hypnotic cyclicality, the profane temporality has its own musicality. Its purpose is to incubate the unsuspected potencies of the beings “caught” in the material world. Due to the fact that it belongs to the aeonic time, the divine music will exceed in harmony the mechanical musicality of profane time, dilating and temporarily cancelling it. Isaiah is witness to such revelation offering access to the heavenly concert. He is witness to divine harmonies produced by two divine singers, whose musical history is presented in our article. The seraphim accompanied the chosen people after their exodus from Egypt. The cultic use of the trumpet is related to the characteristics and behaviour of the seraphim. The seraphic music does not belong to the Creator, but its lyrics speak about the presence of the Creator in two realities, a spiritual and a material one. Only the transcendence of the divine names that are sung/cried affirms a unique reality: God. The chant-cry is a divine invocation with a double aim. On the one hand, the angels and the people affirm God’s presence and call His name and, on the other, the Creator affirms His presence through the angels or in man, the one who is His image and His likeness. The divine music does not only create, it is also a means of communion, implementing the relation of man to God and, thus, God’s connection with man. It is a relation in which both filiation and paternity disappear inside the harmony of the mutual recognition produced by music, a reality much older than Adam’s language.

Abstract: The longstanding effort to develop a people-based regionalism in Southeast Asia has been shaped by an inherent tension between the liberal inclination to privilege the individual and the community under formation, on the one hand, and the realist insistence on the primacy of the state, on the other. This article explores the conditions and constraints affecting ASEAN’s progress in remaking Southeast Asia into a people-focused and caring community in three areas: disaster management, development, and democratization (understood here as human rights). Arguably, the persistent gap in Southeast Asia between aspiration and expectation is determined less by political ideology than by the pragmatic responses of ASEAN member states to the forces of nationalism and protectionism, as well as their respective sense of local and regional responsibility.
