Collaboration is an important element when generating innovation. In the variety of constraints faced when producing innovations, collaboration can help facilitate the process. However, what is the common form of collaboration forged by innovative teachers in schools when producing innovations? This question is interesting to explore. This study was conducted using qualitative method with case study design. Data were collected through interviews of eight study participants from eight different schools in three states. Study participants were selected using purposive sampling method. Four criteria were set, namely; 1) produce instructional innovations, 2) win innovation competitions at least in the state level, 3) not stingy in sharing information about collaboration when producing innovations, and 4) approachable and can collabore. Data were analyzed using the Nvivo 12 Plus application. Comparisons between the data of one study participant with other study participants were made in order to form an accurate theme. The findings show that there are seven forms of collaboration established by the study participants, namely collaboration with students, teacher colleagues, administrators, HEIs, spouses, companies and wages. These findings show that the collaboration of innovative teachers is not limited to fellow teachers in the committee members only, but also includes various parties who have the expertise, knowledge and tools needed when producing innovations. These findings can have an impact on school administrators in designing collaboration programs between teachers in their schools and other schools and also open space for collaboration with agencies outside of education field so that the innovations produced achieve higher standards and quality. In addition, collaboration with students should also be encouraged because students are the users who will receive a direct impact from the teaching innovations produced.

In this work, we undertake the task of laying out some basic considerations towards straightening out the foundations of an abstract logical system. We venture to explain what theory is as well as what is not theory, to discriminate between the roles of truth in theory and in reality, as well as to open the road towards clarifying the relationship between theory and the real world. Etymological, cultural and conceptual analyses of truth are brought forth in order to reveal problems in modern approaches and to set the stage for more consistent solutions. One such problem addressed here is related to negation per se, to its asymmetry towards affirmative statements and to the essential ramifications of this duality with respect to the common perceptual and linguistic aspects of words indicating concepts akin to truth in various languages and to attitudes reflected and perpetuated in them and to their consequent use in attempted informal or formal logic and its understanding. Finally, a case study invoking the causes or “causes” of gravity both clarifies and reinforces the points made in this paper.

Memorizing is a way of preserving the sanctity and purity of the holy verses of the Quran. Based on observations, in Malaysia especially many people who memorize the Quran consist of a typical community, even there is no specific method for the disabled community especially the deaf community for memorizing Quran. Hence, this article aims to study the effectiveness of Tahfiz Akhyar method in order to increase the level of Quran memorization for deaf youths through the Deaf Youth Huffaz Camp which lasted for 5 days 4 nights at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and involving 19 deaf youths as a study participant. This study uses a mixed approach through observation method and final test as instrument tool. The findings of the study show that the Tahfiz Akhyar method can help improve the memorization level of some of the common surah. The achievements of the study participants varied according to their tendency, ability and level of hearing. The implication is that the Deaf Youth Huffaz Camp will continue in the future with the support of various parties. Keywords: Tahfiz Akhyar, Level of mastery, Memorization, Quran, Deaf Abstrak Hafazan merupakan cara untuk menjaga kesucian dan ketulenan ayat suci al-Quran.
Building Life cycle is composed of several stages, however, the longest one is the use. At this stage there are activities related to maintenance and operation of the building and their respective costs, also known as running costs. This article was carried out on this subject, having a vertical residential building as a case study. It shows the historical survey of current costs incurred in the common areas of a building. After choosing the case study, visits and observations were made in loco, with the purpose of characterizing the place. . Subsequently, the data necessary for the study were collected. These data, covering the period of six years, formed the study database. All analyses were conducted using statistical software. The results show that the largest amounts spent in the building are related to general costs, including utility costs, administrative and personnel expenses. Constructive maintenance costs are not representative in total local expenditures.

For centuries, naturalists were aware that soon after hatching the common cuckoo (Cuculus canorus) chick became the sole occupant of the fosterer's nest. Most naturalists thought the adult cuckoo returned to the nest and removed or ate the fosterer's eggs and young, or the cuckoo chick crowded its nest mates out of the nest. Edward Jenner published the first description of cuckoo chicks evicting eggs and young over the side of the nest. Jenner's observations, made in England in 1786 and 1787, were published by the Royal Society of London in 1788. Four years before Jenner's observations, in 1782, Antoine Joseph Lottinger recorded eviction behaviour in France and published his observations in Histoire du coucou d'Europe, in 1795. The importance of Lottinger's and Jenner's observations is considered together.

This paper discusses the challenges of records management that arise from the use of adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, despite the advantages of using such buildings. A qualitative research approach was used as well as a case study research design. Data were collected from seven officers of the Gweru Records Centre through semi-structured interviews. Personal observation was used to triangulate findings from interviews. It was found that the use of adapted buildings as records centres was a cheaper and quicker way of establishing records centres throughout the country. However, a number of preservation, security and management challenges cropped up as the conditions of the buildings and the environment of the adapted buildings were not conducive to the proper and professional management of records. This study is important in that it explores the prospects and challenges of using adapted buildings as records centres in Zimbabwe, an area that has not been researched by many authors. This provokes archival authorities and the government to seriously consider establishing purpose-built records and archival centres.

Abstract Schottky diodes are semiconductor switching devices with low forward voltage drops and very fast switching speeds. This paper provides an overview of the common failure modes in Schottky diodes and corresponding failure mechanisms associated with each failure mode. Results of material level evaluation on diodes and packages as well as manufacturing and assembly processes are analyzed to identify a set of possible failure sites with associated failure modes, mechanisms, and causes. A case study is then presented to illustrate the application of a systematic FMMEA methodology to the analysis of a specific failure in a Schottky diode package.
