In this research, there are two main problems, namely: the service pattern of BMT Ar-Rahmah Rappang as the quality of the community's economic improvement and the level of economic change concerning Rappang in the financing of BMT Ar-Rahmah to assess the point of satisfaction of its customers. This research describes the pattern or form of service implemented by BMT Ar-Rahmah Rappang with the quality of improvement and economic change in the ummah; its purpose is to assess the point of customer satisfaction. In data collection, used library research methods and field research using interview observation techniques and documentation. The collected data were processed using the descriptive and inductive methods. The results showed that BMT Ar-Rahmah Rappang is a sharia microeconomic financial business institution that is trusted by the public. In an effort to maintain and maintain its existence in such a tight competition, BMT always tries to carry out its service functions properly through professional service patterns and Islamic ethics, with various forms of services including the provision of facilities and infrastructure, innovative financial products, and employee performance. So that customers are always satisfied, and its existence as an institution for economic empowerment of the people, especially the middle to the lower class, so that it grows and develops.

This study aims to explain the gold mining in Gunong Ujeun, Aceh jaya by using the theories of Thomas Homer-Dixon of  the environmental scarcity, whether  in Gunong Ujeun mining can be categorized as a blessing or a disaster with a view of reality and phenomena  that exist  in  the field.  The  data  in  this  research was  obtained  through  literature  (library  research)  and  field research. The  results  showed  that  small-scale  gold mining  in  the  region Gunong Ujeun has many benefits, it is a blessing bestowed by the Almighty to the people, especially for people who do the mining. Since 2008 has been a lot of things are changing in the region District of Krueng Sabee, ranging from forests to watersheds in the river. The destruction of the forest will be an impact on other natural  resources  such as  soil cycles are no  longer  fertile, discoloration and quality of water, as well as damage to the fish that were in the river will die, and as a result of toxic mercury wastes are poured into the river. This caused conflict among the community. It is is a horizontal conflict   between migrant and  local communities. The cause of it, namely (1) frequent flooding aftermath of the mining (2) more difficult to get fresh fish and   the water has been  contaminated with mercury  and  cyanide.  (3)  government  agency  that  is  less  concerned with the environment (4) Control of natural resources by immigrant communities.  Keywords: Peoples Mining, conflict, environmental degradation.

O objetivo deste artigo é descrever a experiência de uma pesquisa de campo qualitativa em Geografia, com uma abordagem humanista. A pesquisa de campo foi feita no município de Itacaré, sul do estado da Bahia, com o propósito compreender como os sujeitos de Itacaré percebem o rio das Contas, qual é o significado do rio para eles. Como método de pesquisa de campo, optamos pela história oral e pelas técnicas da entrevista, da observação e, ainda, pelo registro de paisagens através de fotografias. A nossa presença em Itacaré foi importante para o êxito da pesquisa porque pudemos conhecer melhor as pessoas e o seu cotidiano, fato que contribuiu para a qualidade das informações contidas nas 41 entrevistas feitas. Também, essa convivência com as pessoas do lugar foi uma grande experiência vivida na perspectiva da Geografia Humanista. Abstract QUALITATIVE FIELD RESEARCH: EXPERIENCE IN HUMANISTIC GEOGRAPHY This paper aims at describing the experience of a qualitative field research in Geography under a humanistic approach. The field research was carried out in Itacaré, located in the south of Bahia state, aiming at understanding how the individuals from Itacaré perceive Rio das Contas, what the river means to them. We have chosen oral history as field research method and the techniques of oral interview, observation and the record of landscapes through photography. Our presence in Itacaré was critical for the field research’s success as we could get to know better the people and their everyday life, which contributed for the quality of the information contained in the 41 oral interviews collected. Also, staying with these people was a valuable experience under the Humanistic Geography perspective.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this art creation is to transform the values of Rumah Gadang into painting. Rumah Gadang (Big House) is a traditional house of Minangkabau ethnic in West Sumatera Province of Indonesia. Rumah Gadang is built on the pillars made from the wood. It has a high and big hollow on the ground, and its taper roof is a special characteristic that makes it different from other ethnic houses in the areas across the equator. Rumah Gadang has various types and names based on its shape and size, which depend on the community or ethnic group that builds the house. Rumah Gadang Batingkek (a big attic house) accommodates the system of Koto Piliang group, while Gajah Maharam (Incubated Elephants) is an identity of Rumah Gadang of Bodi Caniago community. Both models of the traditional houses above have been known as the identity of a Minangkabau traditional house. Methods used for this artwork are exploration, planning, and implementation of the artwork. Before practising these methods, the data has been explored through library research, empirical research, and field research. Idioms of the traditional houses expressed in the language of painting as an expression of the Painters in communicating their concern of changing the functions and values of Rumah Gadang in Minangkabau society today. By expressing through painting, it is hoped it can give awareness to the people to preserve the traditional values of Rumah Gadang, and also the continuity of appreciation to the house.Keywords: Rumah Gadang, art painting, traditional values, expression of the artABSTRAKPenelitian dalam penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai Rumah Gadang ke dalam karya seni lukis. Rumah Gadang dibangun di atas tiang (panggung), mempunyai kolong yang tinggi, serta atapnya yang lancip, merupakan arsitektur yang khas yang berbeda dengan bangunan suku bangsa lain di daerah garis khatulistiwa. Rumah Gadang mempunyai nama dan jenis yang beraneka ragam menurut bentuk dan ukurannya, sesuai kaum atau suku yang membuatnya. Rumah Gadang Batingkek (rumah besar bertingkat) mengakomodasi sistem kelarasan Koto piliang, yang Rumah Gadangnya beranjuang, Gajah Maharam (gajah mengeram) mengidentitaskan Rumah Gadang kelarasan Bodi Caniago. Kedua model Rumah Gadang tersebut merupakan identitas bangunan etnis Minangkabau. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan eksplorasi, perancangan, dan eksekusi dari perwujudan karya seni. Pada tahap sebelumnya, dilakukan beberapa tahapan, yaitu studi pustaka, studi empirik dan studi lapangan. Dari penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Idiom-idiom tradisi Rumah Gadang yang diungkapkan dengan bahasa seni lukis merupakan media ekspresi pencipta untuk mengomunikasikan kegelisahannya mengenai perubahan dan pengikisan nilai yang terjadi di Rumah Gadang sesuai perubahan zaman. Dengan media ungkap bahasa visual ini diharapkan dapat memberi penyadaran akan pentingnya nilai tradisi dalam konteks Rumah Gadang, serta terus diapresiasi. This study aimed to identify the process and purpose of the grave pilgrimage tradition after marriage in Manisa village, Baranti subdisctrict, Sidrap district, South Sulawesi, and also to examine the law of the custom in the view of Islamic law. This research employed a qualitative approach with the field study method (Field Research) and library research. The study shows that: 1. People ini Manisa village after celebrating their wedding they make grave pilgrimage in forms of such as: Determining a certain time according to the agreement of the bride and groom, preparing the necessary preparations such as water, kettles, and pandanus leaves, making ablution before going to the graveyard, praying before entering the cemetery, watering the grave with water mixed with pandanus leaves, holding the gravestone, praying for the late by reciting certain chapters finalized by surah Al-Fatihah. 2. Grave pilgrimage is one of the prescribed acts of worship but it should be in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet. As for what is found in the people of Manisa Urban Village, there are still a number of differences between what they do and what had been exemplified by the Messenger of Allah such as the determination of a special time for the grave pilgrimage, watering the grave, and seeking for blessing from the graves visited.

ABSTRAK Tindak pidana korupsi di Indonesia sudah sangat meluas dan telah masuk sampai keseluruh lapisan masyarakat. Perkembangannya terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, dalam jumlah kasus yang terjadi dan jumlah kerugian keuangan negara serta dari segi kualitas tindak pidana korupsi yang dilakukan semakin sistematis yang telah memasuki seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Dalam upaya pemberantasannya tidak lagi dapat dilakukan secara biasa, tetapi dituntut cara-cara yang luar biasa pula. Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam pencegahan dan pemberantasan tindak pidana korupsi yaitu dengan peran justice collaborator. Peran Justice Collaborator yaitu seseorang sebagai tersangka namun bukan pelaku utama dan dapat membongkar orang yang terlibat diatasnya sekalipun ia telah korupsi namun ia juga mendapat keringanan karena telah membantu dalam suatu proses pembongkaran fakta dan keadilan.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observational research dengan cara Normatif yaitu metode penelitian kepustakaan yakni penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji dan meneliti bahan-bahan pustaka berupa bahan hukum primer dan bahan hukum sekunder. Sedangkan sifat penelitian ini adalah deskriftif, karena penulis bermaksud memberikan gambaran tentang permasalahan yang menjadi pokok penelitian. Analisis data disajikan secara deskriftif. Kemudian penulis menarik kesimpulan penelitian ini secara deduktif.Dari hasil penelitian Dapat disimpulkan Kedudukan Justice Collaborator Dalam Tindak Pidana Korupsi Dalam Sistem Peradilan Pidana Di Indonesia. Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Acara Pidana yang masih berlaku saat ini pada kenyataannya sama sekali belum memberikan ruang bagi seorang pelaku tindak pidana yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai seorang saksi, karena tidak adanya pengaturan mengenai mekanisme maupun bentuk-bentuk perlindungan serta pemberian reward kepada seorang saksi pelaku yang bekerjasama (Justice Collaborator). Perlindungan hukum terhadap Justice Collaborator dalam Undang-Undang Tindak Pidana Korupsi Indonesia diatur dalam ketentuan Pasal 31 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 31 tahun 1999 jo Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2001.Kata kunci: korupsi; perkara pidana; perlindungan saksiABSTRACTCorruption in Indonesia has been very widespread and has entered into all levels of society. Its development continues to increase from year to year, in the number of cases that occur and the number of losses of state finances and in terms of the quality of criminal acts of corruption committed more systematically that has entered all aspects of people's lives. In an effort to eradicate it can no longer be done as usual, but demands extraordinary ways as well. One of the government's efforts in the prevention and eradication of corruption is the role of justice collaborator. The role of the Justice Collaborator is that a person is a suspect but is not the main actor and can dismantle the people involved above him even though he has been corrupt but he also gets relief because it has helped in a process of dismantling facts and justice.The type of research used is observationaresearch by Normative method, namely library research method, namely legal research conducted by studying and examining library materials in the form of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. While the nature of this study is descriptive, because the authors intend to provide an overview of the problems that are the subject of research. Data analysis is presented descriptive. Then the authors draw the conclusions of this study deductively.From the research results it can be concluded that the position of Justice Collaborator in Corruption in the Criminal Justice System in Indonesia. The Criminal Procedure Code that is still in effect today in fact does not provide space for a criminal offender who is then used as a witness, because there are no regulations regarding the mechanism or forms of protection and the provision of rewards to a witnesses whose perpetrators in collaboration (Justice Collaborator). The legal protection of Justice Collaborators in the Indonesian Corruption Act is regulated in the provisions of Article 31 paragraph (1) of Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001.

The swine stands out in some regions of Brazil and more specifically, in Santa Catarina, mainly by having national leadership in the slaughter of these animals. This study constitutes a very important tool, since the identification of the main consumed cuts and analysis of what it means meat with high quality for the consumer Xanxerense, will identify the user profile and contribute to the production system products meat. Field research with primary data collection using forms applied to pork consumers Xanxerê was used. Of the interviewed, 93.3% reported consuming pork meat. Moreover, it was observed that most of the people receive a personal or family income 2-5 the minimum wage in real. The rib was the main cutting preference. Further, it was found that the clear appearance and visible fa t are features that influence the high degree of quality of pork meat for men and women, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to invest in actions that demonstrate the socio-economic factors involved in the consumption of pork, as well as studies that analyze the quality of the product and the real environmental impact with its production.

Taboo is something forbidden to do which is still believed and practiced within the community even though people already live in the modern world and face globalization. Belief on taboo has long since existed from one generation to another. This study aimed to describe taboos in the community life of the people in Ingin Jaya Sub-district, Aceh Besar District. The study used field research approach with the qualitative method. The primary source of data came from interview, observation, and documentation. Library research was also carried out to support the data. The findings showed that the people of Ingin Jaya still believe various types of taboos. There are taboos involving hard and sharp objects such as prohibition in buying nails, needles, any hard/metal objects, and salt at night, prohibition in sitting under the stairs or at the door, and prohibition in sleeping under the open sky or no roof. The belief on taboos occurs due to two factors. The internal factors include family, education, and religious knowledge, while the external factor includes the socio-culture of the community which exists over generations. The community’s belief on taboos affects the people’ religious experiences in which the people tend to feel comfortable, safe, and secure whenever they follow the social rules by not violating those taboos.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini tentang karakter pemimpin dan hubungannya dengan kinerja karyawan PDAM Tirta Daroy Cabang Sultan Iskandar Muda Kota Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua metode yaitu studi kepustakaan (library research) dan studi lapangan (field research. Melalui studi lapangan Peneliti melaksanakan melalui dua teknik yaitu; pengamatan (observasi), yaitu cara pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan melihat dan terjun langsung pada rutinitas yang terjadi pada PDAM Tirta Daroy Cabang Sultan Iskandar Muda Kota Banda Aceh dan melalui wawancara (interview), yaitu dengan mengadakan wawancara dengan staff-staff PDAM Tirta Daroy Cabang Sultan Iskandar Muda Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian didapati karakter pemimpin PDAM Tirta Daroy Cabang Sultan Iskandar Muda termasuk ke dalam pemimpin yang kurang ideal. Masihnya kurangnya kedisiplinan yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin karena pada saat mengamati keadaan kantor, masih terdapat beberapa karyawan yang datang terlambat. Upaya–upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh pemimpin PDAM Tirta Daroy Cabang Sultan Iskandar Muda untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan adalah pemberian kompensasi kepada karyawan, program pembinaan karyawan, melaksanakan pengawasan langsung dan pengembangan serta peremajaan karyawan.Kata kunci: Karakter Pemimpin, Kinerja Karyawan. Abstract. The aim of this research is to know the charismatic figure of kyai (Dr. KH Ahmad Musthofa Kamal) and his development strategy of visionary pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah Pasuruan East Java that has competitive value, both in national and international level. Therefore, this research is a qualitative research in the form of field research by using interview, observation and documentation in data collection, and using interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman in analyzing the findings which consist of data reduction, display data and conclusion. The results of this research concluded: Dr. KH Ahmad Musthofa Kamal is a kyai who since his youth has had a high charisma value around the people in pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah Pasuruan which is characterized by the adherence and high commitment of them on him, including in the implementation of his pesantren education policy; And the strategy of developing visionary pesantren which undertaken by Dr.KH. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal at Pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah includes several things: (a). Improving the quality of education process at Pesantren Bidayatul Hidayah through developing the competence of educator with the scholarship inside and outside country, the provision of competence enrichment such as training of Islamic astronomy and pesantren curriculum, developing education facilities of special boarding’s (language, qiroah al-kutub, huffadz lil Qur'an, al-kutub at-turast), and developing visiting teacher program from Middle East-Europe. (b) Improving the quality of pesantren education outcomes in a number of programs, including: strengthening the competence of graduates through entrepreneurship training, and community service, strengthening the network of pesantren graduates as well as strengthening cooperation network among pesantren and world Islamic organization.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini berutujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menguraikan sejarah, proses dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam banti-banti pada masyarakat di Kelurahan Mandati I Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari (1) heuristik yakni mencari sumber melalui wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan penelitian lapangan, (2) kritik sumber terdiri atas kritik eksternal dan kritik internal guna mendapat data yang akurat, dan (3) historiografi yang dimaksudkan dalam bentuk tulisan secara sistematis dan kronologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: latar belakang pelaksanaan banti-banti pada masyarakat di Kelurahan Mandati I Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi, tidak diketahui secara pasti, namun dapat di perkirakan banti-banti dan Pobanti lahir sebelum masuknya Islam di Pulau Wangi-Wangi yakni sebelum abad ke-13. Sedangkan proses pelaksanaan banti-banti tersebut masuk dalam aktivitas masyarakat masyarakat Mandati seperti hembula’a gandu (penanaman jagung), kegiatan gotong royong, serta digunakan sebagai pengantar tidur. Disamping itu, banti-banti juga digunakan sebagai nyanyian yang mengiringi tari-tarian tradisional seperti, tari Lariangi, tari Badenda dan tari Pajogi. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam banti-banti yakni nilai agama, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, serta nilai bersahabat/komunikatif yang akan tampak dalam sikap dan perilaku masyarakat di Kelurahan Mandati I Kecamatan Wangi-Wangi Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi. Kata Kunci:Latarbelakang, proses, dan nilai-nilai, banti-banti Description Alternative: ABSTRACT: This study aims to describe and describe the history, process and values contained in banti-banti in the community in Mandati I Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency. This research uses a historical method consisting of (1) heuristics that is looking for sources through interviews, library research, and field research, (2) source criticism consists of external criticism and internal criticism in order to obtain accurate data, and (3) historiography intended in writing systematically and chronologically. The results of the study show that: the background of the implementation of the bantis to the community in Mandati I Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District Wakatobi Regency is not known, but it can be predicted that Banti and Pobanti were born before the entry of Islam on Wangi-Wangi Island before 13th century. While the implementation of the banti-banti included in the Mandati community activities such as hembula'a gandu (planting corn), mutual cooperation activities, and used as a lullaby. Besides that, banti-banti is also used as a song that accompanies traditional dances such as Lariangi dance, Badenda dance and Pajogi dance. The values contained in the banti-banti namely religious values, honesty, responsibility, and friendly / communicative values that will appear in the attitudes and behavior of the people in Mandati I Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi District. Keywords: Background, process, and values, banti-banti
