The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of teacher discipline and efficacy on teacher performance moderated by the supervision of the principal at SMA Kabupaten Jepara. The population of high school teachers is approximately 709 more with accidental sampling. The sample is homogeneous as many as 95 teachers. The method used in data collection is using a questionnaire. The data collection technique was through the distribution of questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The method of data analysis was to describe the characteristics of the respondents including gender, age, education, class, and years of service. While the model analysis uses absolute difference moderation, namely the analysis of moderating variables by regressing the absolute difference. In the results 1) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance 2) Teacher efficacy has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, 3) Principal supervision does not moderate the effect of discipline on teacher performance, and 4) Principal supervision does not moderate teacher efficacy on teacher performance. . Thus, similar research is still needed with different populations and samples.

This study was aimed at finding if integrity affects the performance of High School Teachers in Pekanbaru. So the hypothesis of this study is that if the integrity has an influence on the performance of high school teachers in Pekanbaru. The method used in this study was a survey with correlational techniques. This technique was carried out to analyze the influence of two independent variables X with dependent variables Y. The population in this study were all high school teachers (178 teachers) and the samples were teachers who had received teacher certification at the SMAN Kecamatan 121 Tenayan Raya. Data were analysed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential analysis to test hypotheses. The requirements for analyzing the data are: normality test, homogeneity test, and linearity test. The results showed that integrity had a significant effect with a positive direction on teacher performance in the Tenayan Raya High School in Pekanbaru. This is indicated by the regression coefficient of integrity against teacher performance of 0.083. The point is that if the integrity variable rises by one unit, an increase in teacher performance is 0.083. Furthermore, the effect of the variable integrity on teacher performance resulted in a value of 0.69%. This means that integrity contributes significantly to teacher performance by 0.69%. This contribution is in the very low category. Therefore, it can be concluded that integrity has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance in Tenayan Raya High School.

The aim of this study is to identify high school teachers’ commitment to school development, colleagues, the teaching profession and sense of duty. The population of this descriptive survey comprised 2,805 teachers working at 47 high schools in Elazığ during the 2016-2017 school year. The study sample was selected through stratified sampling, which aims to identify subgroups in a population and ensure that their size in the sample represents their proportion in the population. The data collection tool was then distributed to 461 teachers working in 12 schools selected randomly from these strata. The data collection tool had two sections. The first had conceptual questions and the second had questions about organizational commitment behaviors. The results showed that high school teachers felt full commitment only to the teaching profession, while they “often” felt committed in other subdimensions and the entire scale. More precisely, the commitment level of science teachers to school development was higher than that of social sciences teachers. Teachers working in the city center had higher commitment to colleagues and school development than those in small towns. Teacher candidates had higher commitment to sense of duty than teachers and specialist teachers. Teachers working at vocational and technical high schools had lower commitment to school development than teachers working at Anatolian high schools, social sciences and science high schools. There was a moderate, negative and meaningful relationship between teachers’ age, professional seniority, professional title and marital status. There was a high, positive and meaningful relationship between the subdimensions and the entire scale. Among the subdimensions, too, there was a moderate, positive and meaningful relationship.
