This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher professional competence and work motivation on teacher performance. This study employed survey method with Likert scale questionnaire as the data collection technique. The data was analyzed by using multiple regressions. The results show that professional competence and work motivation have significant positive effects on teacher performance. Thus, professional competence and work motivation can be improved through teacher performance improvement.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi professional dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian kompetensi professional dan motivasi kerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kinerja guru.

The purpose of this study was to analyze influence school leadership and work motivation to teacher performance. This research used explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used question model on likert scale. Respondents are teacher of Vocational High School in Cimahi. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the study revealed school leadership and work motivation both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward teacher performance. Thus the teacher's performance can be improved through increased by school leadership and work motivation.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model likert scale. Responden adalah guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah  dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan peran  kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja.

The problem raised in this study is less optimum of student’s learning achievement in facility and infrastructure administration subject of class XI Administration office. This research was conducted to find out how teacher’s teaching creativity and interactional communication influence student’s learning achievement in facility and infrastructure administration of class XI office administration 2017/2018.This research uses explanatory survey method, and the data collection technique used is a questionnare with Likert scale model. The sample of the study are 102 students from 136 students of the total population of class XI office administration 207/2018  The data for analysis technique used is multiple regresion analysis.The result of hypothesis analysis testing obtained the conclusion that there is an influence between theacher’s creativity and interactional communication to student’s learning achievement that simultaneously have a strong influence in facility and infrastructure subject of class XI office administration.ABSTRAKPermasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Sarana dan Prasarana kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMKN 11 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari kreativitas mengajar guru dan komunikasi interaksional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Sarana dan Prasarana kelas XI Administrasi Pekantoran 2017/2018.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei eksplanatory dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dengan model Skala Likert. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 102 siswa dari jumlah populasi 136 siswa dari kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Untuk teknik analsis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi ganda.Hasil dari analisis dan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kreativitas mengajar guru dan komunikasi interaksional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Sarana dan Prasarana kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran yang secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang kuat.

Abstract The success of the national education system can be seen from the performance of teachers. Teacher performance is expected to boost the quality and relevance of education, in its implementation depends on many factors that influence it and interrelated, such factors competence, motivation and discipline. This research is aimed to analyze the effect simultaneously (together) or partially (individually) between teacher professional competence, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of explanatory research and a sample of 120 teachers taken using proportional random sampling techniques. The results showed the teacher's professional competence, work motivation, and work discipline simultaneously had effect on teacher performance. Teacher professional competence has effect on teacher performance. Work motivation has effect on teacher performance. Work discipline has effect on teacher performance.

Employees’ performance are influenced by many factors, there are competence and work discipline. This article discusses the result of research on the impacts of competence and work discipline on employees’ performance in one of Department at Kabupaten Garut. This study used explanatory survey method with questionnaire as the data collection technique. The population of this study consists of 42 respondents who are the secretariat employees’. The result of this study shows that the competence and work discipline has positive effects on employees’ performance, both partially and simultaneously. Because of that, employees’ performance can be improved by increased the competence and work discipline.ABSTRAKKinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya adalah kompetensi dan disiplin kerja. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh kompetensi dan disiplin kerja pada kinerja pegawai pada salah satu Dinas di Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Ukuran populasi sebanyak 42 responden. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai sekretariat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kompetensi dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan kompetensi dan disiplin kerja.

Study aims to determine managerial influence of principals and work motivation toward teacher performance. Type of research was quantitative study using t-test and F-test. Sample was hundred of teachers. Data collection technique used questionnaire. Data analysis technique used SPSS program. Results of study (1) Principal managerial had significant influence toward teacher performance. This was evidenced by the t-count 13.998 and t-table 1.660; (2) Work motivation had significant influence toward teacher performance according to t-count 2.206 and t-table 1.660; (3) Principal managerial and work motivation had a significant influence toward teacher performance, based on the test results obtained F-count value 4.653 and F-table 3.09. There was a significant influence between principal managerial and work motivation towards teacher performance.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the transformational leadership head of school  on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, and the influence of transformational leadership head of school and work motivation in multiple ways on teacher performance. This research was conducted at the State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research through correlation . The number of samples in this study was 144 respondents. The data collection technique was by giving a questionnaire to the teachers. The data analysis test used validity, reliability, classic assumption tests and multiple linear tests which were processed using IBM SPSS 24. The results showed the following: (1) Transformational leadership head of school  (X1) was proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. (2) Work motivation (X2) is proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. (3) Transformational leadership head of school and work motivation and compensation simultaneously proved to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency of 77,6%.

One crucial factor in determining the successes of learning in schools is the teachers’ performances. Teacher’s performance not only determines the learning successes but also the achievements of the organizational goals. This study aims to determine the effects of the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture on the teachers’ performance in the XYZ School. The number of subjects in this study was 82 teachers who taught at the XYZ, both the Primary and Secondary levels. A quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method, in which the Smart PLS application was implemented to process the data, was used in this study. For the data collection, a survey technique using a questionnaire was selected as a research instrument. The results of the data analysis have shown that the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture have positive effects on performance.

This research is motivated, among others, by the work motivation of the aqidah akhlak teacher who has not met the expectations of all parties, the teacher is still limited in the ability to master the subject matter in the field of aqidah morals and the teacher's performance is still not optimal in the learning process for students.This study aims to determine, analyze and formulate the correlation between work motivation and the ability to master the material together with the performance of teachers in the field of study aqidah morals. The location of this research is at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Pandeglang, Banten.This study used a survey method with correlational data analysis. The research sample consisted of 35 teachers, while data collection used observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests.The findings of this study are that there is a positive and significant correlation between work motivation and the ability to master the material together with teacher performance with a multiple correlation coefficient of 0.882. This means that work motivation and mastery of material have provided positive and significant support to teacher performance.The conclusion is that the higher the work motivation which includes; responsibility, achievement, self-development and independence and the ability to master the material which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor, the higher the teacher's performance which includes; planning in teaching, classroom management, learning and evaluation. Keywords: Work Motivation, Material Mastery Ability, Teacher Performance

This research aimed to analyze the effects of knowledge, training, and competency on the performance, which local public agricultural mentors/officers in the Yapen Islands Regency are the unit analysis. Of 100 respondents were used as the saturated sample in this research. The research applied a survey method and used a five-point Likert scale as the instrument and the statistics program SPSS to analyze data. The analysis methods included descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption test, and regression analysis. The research results show that the variables knowledge, training, and competency had significant positive effects on local public agricultural mentors' performance at the Yapen Islands Regency.

This study aims to prove the relationship between leadership and teacher motivation on performance. . This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach that explains causal relationships or correlations commonly called path analysis. The survey was conducted from February to May 2019 involving 124 Ambon State Vocational School teachers. The sample in this study used the Slovin formula with an instrument trial of 60 teachers. The sampling technique is determined randomly or simple random sampling. The findings of the research results are as follows (1) The influence of leadership style has a positive direct effect on teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.262 and a path coefficient of 0.233. A good leadership style will have a positive influence on improving teacher performance. (2) Work motivation has a positive direct effect on teacher performance, the correlation coefficient value is 0.179 and the path coefficient value is 0.124. This means that the higher the work motivation that a teacher has will improve his performance. (3) The influence of leadership style has a direct positive effect on work motivation with a correlation value of 0.233 and a path coefficient value of 0.233. This means that a principal's leadership style that is positively constructive will have an impact on increasing the motivation of the work of the teachers. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan hubungan antara kepemimpinan dan motivasi guru terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menjelaskan hubungan atau korelasional kausal yang biasa disebut analisis jalur. Survey dilakukan sejak Februari sampai Mei 2019 dengan melibatkan 124 orang guru SMK Negeri Ambon. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan uji coba instrument sebanyak 60 guru. Teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara acak atau simple random sampling. Temuan dari hasil penelitan sebagai berikut (1) Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,262 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,233. Gaya kepemimpinan yang baik akan memberi pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. (2) Motivasi kerja pengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja guru, nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,179 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,124. Hal ini berarti semakin tingginya motivasi kerja yang dimiliki seorang guru akan meningkatkan kinerja. (3) Pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap motivasi kerja dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,233 dan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,233. Hal ini memberi arti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah yang positif membangun akan memberi dampak kepada peningkatan motivasi kerja para guru.
