Between 2015 and 2020, USAID invested in 17 country-focused and regional youth assessments to investigate young people’s priorities and needs. This article analyzes the results of those assessments and their implications for youth programming and policy in low- and middle-income countries. Primary data collection, document review, and secondary data analysis form the basis for the findings presented in the article. Our analysis across all assessments focused on identifying the most marginalized and vulnerable youth within each country of focus and understanding youth’s priorities and the barriers and facilitators for achieving them across the sectors. Securing a decent livelihood was the top priority cited by youth in each of the 17 assessments. The youth saw education as a step towards self-reliance and a better future. Older youth recognized the importance of gaining tangible work-related skills and wanted more opportunities to learn and apply these skills. Health priorities related to mental health, substance abuse prevention, and reproductive health, specifically early pregnancy. Young people expressed frustration that adults and society writ large do not hear their voices and acknowledged limited opportunities to develop leadership roles. Youth in conflict or unstable contexts expressed a strong desire to engage in their society. Common implications focus on sectoral programming, research, and policy using a positive youth development framework, acknowledging the importance of any program to foster cross-sectoral collaboration. Building awareness, improving coordination, and increasing the skills of actors supporting youth development—and ensuring youth are at the center of these efforts—increase the effectiveness and consistency of youth programming and policies as part of the enabling environment.

This research aims to find out, describe and analyze the performance of educational instructors and skills training at the youth community Development of Majar Tabela City Palangka Raya. While the research method used is qualitative. Researchers want to describe and analyze the performance of educational instructors and skill training at the Majar Tabela Youth Development Community in the six (6) Aspects of quality, quantity, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, need for supervision and Interpersonal impact. Data sources consist of primary data sources, which are interviews with 4 (four) instructors, 2 (two) Students/clients, and the head of Sub administration representing the head of Youth Development (PSBR) Majar Tabela, while the secondary data source is Official document of the Youth Development Community (PSBR) Majar Tabela. The results showed that the instructor's performance was still less than optimal. This can be seen from the quantity aspect is still a lack of instructors there are at least 6 (six) to 8 (eight) people, while the one is now only 4 (four) instructors. Then, from the need for supervision aspect, there are still less independent instructors, especially with regards to the creation of reports and learning evaluations. This is because the instructor is newly recruited so that it is still less experienced in making reports and evaluation activities. Thus causing the timeliness aspect is also impacted by delays in making activity reports. Therefore, the head of Youth Development Social Orphanage (PSBR) Majar Tabela City Palangka Raya is 1) increasing the number of instructors who are experienced in their field, both in the field of automotive and sewing, 2) provide technical guidance to the new instructor So that it can be independent (need for supervision) and timeliness in making final reports as well as evaluation of activities, and 3) reviewing the honor of the instructor to improve the instructor's commitment to improve the performance of instructors.

Meanwhile, the level of MSDscomplaints was low (score 28-49) 11.1%, moderate complaints (score 50-70) were 44.4% and high complaints (score 71-91) were 44.4%. The results of the analysis test showed that there was a relationship between the level of ergonomics risk of working postures at 6 stages of activity, namely pre sampling, side preparation, climbing stairs, raising equipment, lowering equipment, and descending stairs (p-value < 0.05). Conclusion: Based on the other 4 stages of activity, namely sampling with a probe, sampling with a gas analyzer, measuring water content, and measuring particulate levels, there is no relationship between the level of ergonomics in work posture and complaints of MSDs, to reduce the risk of M.S.D.s complaints, efforts can be made through redesigning work stations that are not ergonomic with the use of tools to reduce workload.

ABSTRACT Background: Hospital Pharmacy Installation (IFRS) was one of 5 revenue centres as well as being the primary support for the hospital which has full authority in managing various pharmaceutical preparations. Therefore, pharmaceutical supplies require careful and precise management through a one-door system. This study aimed to determine the management system and identify the various problems that exist in the pharmacy installation at Kambang Jambi Hospital. Subjects and Method: This study was a qualitative study conducted on IFRS at Kambang Jambi Hospital from August to September 2020. The data were obtained from primary data in the form of in-depth interviews with stakeholders related to IFRS and field observations, as well as secondary data in the form of document review. The data were collected by in-depth interview guide. The data was reported by 5 Whys Analysis diagram. Results: Based on field observations at IFRS Kambang Jambi Hospital, it was found that there were still many problems at almost every stage of pharmaceutical supply management starting from planning, procurement, receiving, storage, distribution, control, deletion, recording and reporting, as well as monitoring and evaluation. When the problem is identified more deeply using 5 Whys Analysis, the roots of these various problems are obtained, namely: 1) There has not been an adequate Pharmacy and Therapy Committee (KFT) in the management of the pharmaceutical installation at Kambang Jambi Hospital, 2) The majority of KFT members have assumed structural positions at Kambang Jambi Hospital so that it does not focus on KFT duties, 3) KFT does not regularly hold monthly meetings and evaluations, 4) The ineffective role of SPI at Kambang Jambi Hospital in monitoring and evaluating IFRS performance, 5) SIMRS still depends on outsiders not always standby at the hospital when there are problems. Conclusion: Re-organized the pharmacy and therapy committee to carry out a continuous review of the hospital formularies to be more effective and minimize medication errors. Naturally occurring events such as earthquakes, volcanoes, floods etc. cast great impact on physiography of land and lives of the people. Floods are the most common of all the natural hazards. Physical, social, economic and environmental vulnerabilities make the developing countries more susceptible to disasters as compared to the developed countries which have great sources and resources to cope with any disastrous situation. Pakistan is one of the most flood prone countries of South Asia and a number of floods have caused significant damage and loss both physically and economically particularly during the floods of 1950, 1992, 1998, 2010, 2011 and 2014.Theses floods are primarily caused by the heavy monsoon rainfalls accompanied by snow melting in the northern mountainous areas of the country. Among all the provinces, Punjab is most prone to floods and faces great damage and loss because it is the home of more than half of the country’s population. As it is densely populated, so the destruction here is more than other provinces. Besides, Punjab’s geographic location and climatic conditions make it more vulnerable to monsoon floods. Primary data from a field survey of the case study area through a questionnaire was obtained while the related secondary data was derived from different published government’s reports, journals and already done work related to the topic. For graphical representation of work done, simple statistical techniques attributed with descriptive research were followed. This research is aimed to have an inner look into the structures and functions of the institutes which are working to combat the effects of floods in Pakistan. The main purpose of this study is to find out the plans and strategies of different institutions to combat the effects of floods.
