The purpose of this study is to answer: how is the implementation of guidance and counseling in Class XI Santa Monika Vocational High School, Kubu Raya Regency? What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in an effort to motivate students to learn in Class XI at Santa Monika Vocational High School, Kubu Raya Regency? How are the efforts made by the Guidance and Counseling teacher in providing student motivation in Class XI at the Santa Monika Vocational High School, Kubu Raya Regency? The results showed that the implementation of guidance and counseling in increasing the motivation of class XI students at SMK Santa Monika was carried out in orientation services, information services, distribution placement services, content mastery services, individual counseling services, group guidance services, group counseling services, consulting services, mediation, and advocacy services. The guidance and counseling service program is still not optimal. Supporting factors from the implementation of guidance and counseling by the school and supporting teachers by making guidance and counseling service programs. Inhibiting factors are the shortage of teachers or counselors, limited time, and teachers who teach are not used to teaching in class. Efforts made by guidance and counseling teachers in increasing learning motivation are recording children by filling in student identities, experiencing or approaching students, making individual or group programs and providing suggestions to class XI students at SMK Santa Monika, Kubu Raya Regency.

The implementation of guidance and counseling services cannot be separated from various factors that can influence. The purpose of this study is to study what factors can affect the implementation of guidance and counseling program services in high school. This study uses descriptive research with survey methods. Data collection techniques used through the instrument contained a questionnaire. The results of the study show that the guidance and counseling program has been well prepared. But the implementation of guidance and counseling is still not good, and this is characterized by high factors that influence the implementation of guidance and counseling service programs. The following are the percentages obtained, among others: personal factors consisting of the competence of the counselor get a percentage of 73% according to the high category; 71% depending on the high category; homeroom teacher obtained a percentage of 79% in the high category; subject teachers earn a percentage of 75%. Non-personal factors consisting of the BK program obtained a percentage of 70 with a high category; Facilities and infrastructure have a percentage of 77% in the high category.

Gifted children in life need service programs to develop their own talents. Gifted children are those who are identified by professionals possessing extraordinary abilities and high achievers. Educational services for gifted children in Indonesia are only limited to discourse or only implemented in some schools only. Until finally the potential of gifted children do not develop, or the development of gifted children is not optimal. Gifted children need to attend special education. Gifted children's education should be distinguished from other children. Because gifted children need different learning processes. On the basis of that, gifted children need to be given guidance and counseling services , with the aim that gifted children can increase their potential and develop their talents.

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk memindai penerapan bimbingan dan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural di SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini yaitu, guru BK, Kepala sekolah, para guru, siswa, pengurus OSIS, dan komite sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Palangkaraya. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan pengamatan partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan empat tahap penelitian kualitatif dari Miles dan Hubermann, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, klasifikasi data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) tujuan  layanan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural adalah memberikan bantuan kepada siswa multikultur untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dengan baik, 2) jenis-jenis layanan konseling antara lain membantu klien mengembangkan perilaku santun, membantu mengatasi kecemasan, menggali dan potensi siswa, 3) karakteristik khusus yang diterapkan yaitu dengan memberikan layanan konseling individual, 4) layanan konseling dengan pendekatan multikultural telah memanfaatkan secara maksimal berbagai media konseling yang ada. Kata kunci: bimbingan konseling, multikultural, pemindaian, layanan  AbstractThe general objective of this study is to scan the application of guidance and counseling through multicultural approachin senior high school. The study used a qualitative approach. The informants of this study is counseling teacher, school principal, teachers, students,students’ organization at school (OSIS), and school committee of SMA Negeri 1 Palangkaraya. Data were collected using participatory observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using four qualitative research phases of Miles and Hubermann, namely data collection, data reduction, data classification, and making conclusions. Based on the research results, in general it can be concluded that: 1) the purpose of counseling services through multicultural approach is providing assistance to students multicultural to overcome the problems encountered well, 2) the types of counseling services include helping clients develop polite behavior, helping to overcome anxiety , exploring students’ talent, 3) special characteristics that are applied by giving individual counseling services, 4) counselingservice through multicultural approach has been maximally utilizing some existing media counseling.Keywords: counseling, multicultural, scanning, service

Binuang Vocational High School 1 often found students lacking in concentration in class when the lesson took place. Based on the identification of the problem, due to lack of understanding of students in dealing with emotional students faced in the implementation of learning. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on the effect of personal counseling services in improving intellectual and emotional intelligence. The aim is to find out how much influence personal counseling services have on intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence. This research was carried out on 11 August to September 2017 with a location in Binuang 1 Vocational High School. The data is collected through interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. The study sample was taken through three stages, the school level was appointed, the class determination (two classes) was appointed, and then continued with a simple random to determine 30 respondents. Data analysis using regression results of the study shows that X against Y1 F count (18,380) is greater than F table α 0,05 df 1/28 (4.20), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. X against (Y2), the calculated F value (22,413) is greater than F table (4.20) so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Personal counseling services affect intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence. It was concluded that the variable personal counseling service (X) can be used as a recommended variable in estimating the variables Y1 and Y2.

Character education was one of the focuses in the system of national education. Therefore, educators must not neglect this. A school counselor, as one of the educators, has to play a role in character education. Referring to guidance and counseling responsibilities in relation to students’ personal, social, academic, and career aspects, a school counselor must not escape from the main duties. Considering that character education is the responsibility of all parties, a school counselor can, independently and in collaboration with all school components, play a role in character education. Individually, a school counselor can provide services, such as individual services, individual planning services, and responsive services. In collaboration with other parties, a school counselor can make a synergy in character education programs. While guidance and counseling services are one of the service programs that contribute to the implementation of the program in schools. So that it is expected that the implementation of strengthening of character education through guidance and counseling services in schools can be implemented and implemented effectively and efficiently, so that it can achieve more optimal goals for the development of character values that exist in students.Keywords: School Counselors; Character Education; Counseling Guidance Services

In spite of the legal basis for implementing guidance and counseling in higher education is not as complete and detailed as counseling services in primary and secondary education units, a number of regulations indicate that guidance and counseling services are an important element in the organization of college. This research aims to formulate a program of counseling services based on appropriate qur’ani values ​​according to the expert and describe the frequency of usage of the counseling service program to resolve student problems. This developmental research is carried out using the steps of the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of research trial consist of 3 experts and 3 product users (counselors), taken using the purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and Kendall concordance coefficient tests. The results indicate that: (1) a counseling service program based on qur’ani values ​​is considered appropriate to be given to students; (2) the usability level of qur'ani values-based counseling service programs is considered highly usable to be used as a reference in counseling services.

This research is a research action (action Research) where students are given the form of guidance and counseling services which is a combination of group guidance services, information services and PKO services in order to increase the student self-reliance in decision making in the career assignment plan after graduating high school. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative to describe the students ' state to analyze the effectiveness of students ' guidance and counseling services. The results of the study gained that students desperately needed information about continued education and employment after graduating high school, 84.46% of students expressed a very concur and 14.90% expressed concur. The effectiveness of group tutoring was described that effective service activities for students of 81.03% expressed very concur, 17.82% agreed and 1.15% were less agreed.
Students are also self-reliant and confident in the application of a career renceration decision after graduating high school which is 83.49% of students expressed a very concur, 16.83% expressed consent, 2.89% of students disagree, 0.98% disagree. From the results of observations to students during the Research counseling action implemented 83.65% of students ' interest in good category, 89.42% of students ' attention is good, 94.23% of student enthusiasm is good category, confident students both reach 85.58%, and the social relationship of students is also good i.e. reaching 83.65%. Action Research (Action Research) is effective and suitable to students ' needs and make students more steady in planning a career to be selected after graduating from high school that is based on the observation recap of 87.31% activity in the category good, this proves that the service is implemented according to the needs of students especially class XII students to increase self-reliance in deciding the future plan (career) after graduating.

This research is based on phenomena that occur in the Bhakti Bangsa Vocational School which shows that many students commit violations and school rules. The purpose of this research is to overcome school undisciplined behavior through counseling with contractual engineering behavioral approaches.The type of research used is handling cases. Research focus is behavior that often violates discipline. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data review and description. Research subjects are students who have undisciplined behavior problems.The results showed that the fourth counseling before counseling had undisciplined behavior in school. There are students caught storing indecent videos so that they are embarrassed and do not want to go to school for a few days, often do not go to class without explanation, often skip school because they like to play online games at the cafe, often go home sooner before the school bell rings. After being given counseling services with behavioral contractual behavioral approach, counselees begin to understand the importance of school.Overall counseling conclusions on counselees who have undisciplined behavior can be overcome through individual counseling with a contractual behavioral approach. It is proven that there are behavioral changes that are not disciplined to be more disciplined. School counselors are expected to be able to overcome the problem of students through counseling and guidance services, especially counseling with a contractual behavioral approach to address undisciplined behavior, accompanying, motivating and always monitoring the counselee's progress in order to continue to commit to no more school discipline violations. This research aims to determine the management of counseling services in MAN 4 Kediri including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervision. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive of phenomenology in the application of management guidance and counseling services. The results of the study showed the planning of counseling guidance program based on the results of student and environmental needs analysis, organizing officers conducted counseling guidance coordinator based on the agreement between teachers and Counseling. Implementation of activities refers to the unit of service activity: 1) Orientation service is the introduction of new students to the school order and the character of each teacher of study field; 2) Individual counseling services The teachers try to open counseling for the problematic students to devote their hearts to the counseling teachers; 3) Group counseling Services i.e. teacher Counseling Tutoring creates personal and group accounts on social media Facebook; 4) Mediation services in conducting problematic student mediation, counseling teachers collaborate with the class and parents to overcome a problematic student. Here teachers counseling guidance tries to mediate by calling the students and their parents to resolve the problem; 5) Supporting activities: a) home visits; b) instead of case. In addition to that also in the implementation of counseling guidance services There is equipment that supports the governance of counseling guidance. Like the case book for students who are stuck in problems such as smoking is discovered in the middle of the school, caught fouling and others. Outside school counseling teachers also conduct observations at the student's home through visits and observations to obtain detailed student information.

It is important for students’ self-acceptance to be improved, and for guidance and counseling services in formal education to be provided according to needs, such as self-acceptance. This study aimed to determine whether group guidance can help to increase students’ self-acceptance. Data were collected through a Likert scale and through interviews with guidance and counseling teachers. The research subjects were eleventh-grade students of State Senior High School 11 in Yogyakarta. A quantitative approach was taken and data were analyzed through Wilcoxon tests. The results showed that there were differences before and after students were given group guidance services and this was statistically significant (0.028 < 0.05). We conclude that student self-acceptance can be increased through group guidance services. Keywords: self-acceptance, group guidance, students
