ABSTRACTThe study investigates the effect of leadership style on employee’s work stress in ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. The data were collected from 92 employees and obtained using a questionnaire consisted of 29 items with 6 point Likert scale. Desciptive analysis used to illustratedthe leadership style and work stress level inside the organization. Simple regression analysis was used to analyze the data and to measure the relation between independent and dependent variables. Employee perceives that the leadership style implemented in the organization was already appropriate and in line with their expectation regarding how their leader should engage the work relation. Meanwihle, the work stress level among employees were low. The regression analysis revealed the negative relation between leadership style and work stress level. When employeesperceived that their leader was act accordance to what their expectaion then the stress level will lessen. The coefficient of determination was 0.321. This mean the leadership style can only explain 32.1% of work stress, then the organization need to identify other factors which also affect the work stress. The comparison with the previous literatures also discussed.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap tingkat stres kerja karyawan di Divisi ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. Data penelitian diperoleh daripenyebaran kuesioner terhadap 92 orang responden. Kuesioner yang digunakan memiliki 29 pertanyaan dengan skala Likert 6 poin. Teknik analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menjelaskan tingkat gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara dua ariabel tersebut digunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karyawan merasa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan sudahsesuai dengan apa yang mereka harapkan. Mereka menilai bahwa pemimpin sudah menerapkan gaya yang tepat dalam setiap kondisi yang terkait pekerjaan. Tingkat stres karyawan di perusahaan ini relatif rendah. Selanjutnya, analisis regresi memperlihatkan hubungan signifikan negatif antara gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres. Karyawan yang merasa sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan atasan akan memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih rendah. Koefisien determinasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah 0.321. ini berarti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan hanya dapat menjelaskan tingkat stres sebesar 32.1% of work stress. Hasil ini menjadi masukan bagi perusahaan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor lain penyebab stres. Pembahasan di dalam penelitian ini akan menyajikan pula hasil riset terdahulu dari berbagai latar belakang budaya

<p>The aim of this study is to investigate and examine the effect of leadership style on employee productivity, identify and examine the effect of organizational climate on employee productivity, to identify and examine the effect of the work ethic on employee productivity, in order to know and examine the variables that have the most impact level dominant on employee productivity PT. HP Metals Indonesia part Powder Coating.</p><p>This research is an explanatory research or study the explanation, the research describes causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing. The numbers of sample in this study are 98 respondents. The independent variables consist of: Leadership styles (X1), Organizational Climate (X2), Work Ethics (X3). The dependent variable in this study is Productivity employee (Y). While, the technique of analysis using multiple linear regression analysis</p>Based on the analysis in this study showed that the variables of leadership style, organizational climate, work ethic on employee productivity responded well by employees. Aspects of leadership style that followed targeted Climate employee srated the organization has also been rated as good, especially on the cooperation between employees and management, while at the work ethic of employee srated very high, especially on adherence to regulations, adherence to labor standards and work ethics. And employee productivity is also very positive response from almost all three elements, namely timeliness, quality of work and quantity of work.

INTISARI    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Produktivitas Karyawan PT. ITRASAL yang dimediasi oleh Motivasi Kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian metode asosiatif dengan jenis penelitian  survey  yang akan mengungkapkan hubungan dua variabel, yaitu Gaya Kepemimpinan sebagai variabel bebas dan Produktivitas sebagai variabel terikat. Data primer berasal dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada karyawan bagian Liquid Departemen Produksi PT ITRASAL, dan hasil diskusi dengan karyawan bagian tersebut. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode korelasi dan regresi linear. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai r untuk variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Produktivitas adalah 0,557 dan nilai t adalah 8.951. Nilai r untuk variabel Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Motivasi adalah 0,278 dan nilai t adalah 5,022. Terdapat hubungan positif antara Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Produktivitas dan Gaya Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap Motivasi. Nilai r untuk variabel Motivasi terhadap Produktivitas adalah 0,377 dan nilai t adalah 6,251. Terdapat hubungan positif antara Motivasi terhadap Produktivitas. ITRASAL is mediated by work motivation. This research uses the research design of associative method with the type of survey research that will reveal the relationship of two variables, namely Leadership Style as independent variable and productivity as dependent variable. Primary data comes from a questionnaire distributed to employees of the Liquid Department of Production Department of PT ITRASAL, and the results of discussions with employees of that section. Further data obtained were analyzed using correlation and linear regression method. From this research, the result that r value for leadership style variable to productivity is 0,557 and t value is 8,951. The r value for the leadership style variable for motivation is 0.278 and the t value is 5.022. There is a positive relationship between leadership style on productivity and leadership style have a positive effect on motivation. The r value for the Motivation variable on productivity is 0.377 and the t value is 6.251. There is a positive relationship between motivation to productivity. The purpose of this research is to analyze and prove the role of  leadership style against employee productivity in local government.The research was carried out at the Bandung Local Government.  The number of respondent was 4 persons each from 27entity from West Bandung Local Government. The entity which are used as sample in this research are finance office. Regression is used to analyze the data from the respondent.The research shows that leadership style does affect positive significantly the employee productivity of local government.   Keyword:Leadership Style, Employee Productivity, Local Government.

ABSTRACT Background: Stress is unavoidable on workplaces, employees who feel stress are more likely to be less motivated, less satisfied, show poor performance, and less productivity. The purpose of this study was to examine factors affecting the performance of health workers at the community health centers in Klaten, Central Java. Subjects and Method: A cross sectional study was conducted at community health centers in Klaten, Central Java, from November to December 2019. A sample of 200 health workers was selected by stratified random sampling. The dependent variable was work performance. The independent variables were work stress, education, tenure, leadership style, and type of work. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by a multiple logistic regression run on Stata 13. Results: Health workers performance increased with democratic leadership style (b= 1.40; 95% CI= 0.44 to 2.36; p= 0.004), education (undergraduate and magister) (b= 1.58; 95% CI= 0.65 to 2.52; p= 0.001), tenure ≥6 years (b= 1.72; 95% CI= 0.73 to 2.70; p= 0.001), single job (b= 2.05; 95% CI= 1.07 to 3.03; p<0.001). Health workers performance decreased with high work stress (b= -1.65; 95% CI= -2.58 to -0.72; p= 0.001). Conclusion: Health workers performance increases with democratic leadership style, education, tenure ≥6 years, and single job. Health workers performance decreases with high work stress. Job satisfaction can improve durability individuals to stress and impacts of stress and on the other hand, stress that perceived by an individual can be a source of discontent. This research aims to know the influence of work stress of job satisfaction of nurses in internist room of Krakatau Medika Hospital Cilegon. Research method the used is the descriptive method to 215 nurses who have experienced nurses' room of Krakatau Medika Hospital Cilegon. While to test the research hypothesis, the authorize a simple regresion analysis method with the help of software SPSS 20. The results showed job stress in nurses in the inpatient unit Krakatau Medika Hospital in the moderate category is 2.88 and the job satisfaction of nurses are in a high category. Work stress experienced by nurses at Krakatau Medika Hospital has a positive effect on job satisfaction, so the impact of positive stress is used as a motivational well as improved performance. The results of correlation calculations, the independent variables on satisfaction positive relationships with low classification, the amount of work stress on job satisfaction, which is 12.4% and the remaining 87.6% influenced by other factors not described in this study, other factors such as remuneration, staffing, work environment, leadership style, and so on.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, work environment, and work stress on employee performance at PT. NT Indonesia. This type of research uses quantitative research. The sample in this study amounted to 74 respondents. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the SPSS program. The analysis used includes the analysis of the coefficient of determination, F Test, and Multiple Linear Regression Test. The results showed that leadership style affected employee performance, work environment affected employee performance, job stress affected employee performance.

Purpose – This paper aims to explore the influences of leadership and work stress on employee behavior, and the moderating effects of transactional and transformational leadership on the relationship between work stress and employee negative behavior. Design/methodology/approach – Using convenience sampling method, the authors investigated employees from 20 firms in different places and industries, and 347 valid questionnaires were collected. SPSS18.0 statistical analysis software was used for reliability and validity analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis to test the hypothesis. Findings – The empirical results show that there is a positive correlation between work stress and employee negative behavior. Transformational leadership has negative impacts on work stress and employee negative behavior, whereas transactional leadership has positive influences. Moreover, transactional leadership strengthens the influence of work stress on employee negative behavior, whereas transformational leadership has no moderating effect. Practical implications – First, enterprises should take employees’ stress tolerance into account in selection and recruitment, and enhance stress management. Second, by demonstrating inspirational vision and personal charisma, open leadership style, rather than short-term transactional behavior, will motivate subordinates more effectively. Finally, distribution system should be improved to achieve principle and procedural justice. Originality/value – The paper extends the research on employee behavior by investigating the impacts of leadership and work stress. According to Chinese social, economic and cultural characteristics, this research examines the influence of contemporary Chinese mindset and pluralistic values on employee behavior. Open leadership is proposed as a new leadership style, which contributes to improving leadership behavior and preventing negative behavior in workplace.

The research method is an associative method that uses questionnaires as a data collection tool that is distributed throughout the respondents. The population in the study were all employees. The number of samples taken was 35 respondents. As for analyzing and calculating the overall effect of the independent variable Situational Leadership Style on the dependent variable Employee Productivity that is processed using a computer program SPSS for Window. The results of Simple Linear Regression analysis show that the hypothesis testing proves that the Situational Leadership Style variable has a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity in PDAM Kota Kupang, it means  the higher the Situational Leadership Style, the higher Employee Productivity.   Keywords: Situational Leadership Style, Employee Productivity

<p>Employee productivity sizes commonly used in providing employee assessment consists of the<br />quantity that results achieved in carrying out the task. A third indicator is the quality. The quality of<br />this dimension where quality shows how a task can be completed seen from the aspect of skill,<br />precision and cleanliness. Other sizes are punctuality which includes attendance or absenteeism of<br />employees and timeliness in completing the work. Some qualitative measures can be used as a tool to<br />determine how well an employee is working, especially that the government agency is in the form of<br />an agency that should be a model, of course, the quality of service becomes essential as the initial<br />measure of success. The better performance of a government agency it is expected to transmit to<br />agencies in other government to miningkatkan service quality. Likewise if an agency is not good will<br />be transmitted to other agencies to no good.<br />Analysis is conducted quantitative analysis using linear regression to answer the problem formulation<br />and determine the influence of the variables that have been determined. The results of this study are<br />very influential leadership style on employee performance. Besides the work attitude of employees is<br />also crucial to performance.</p>
