Schools had a great influence on children in developing their potential, but most only focus on the development of cognition even though the interaction of students with the environment was needed. This became important to apply active and interactive learning methods, but errors in the selection of learning methods often occur so that the ability of student interaction with the environment was hampered. The delay of this interaction had an impact on the development of empathy, so this study had been conducted to determine the role of cooperative learning in developing empathy in 6th grade elementary school. The study had been conducted on 6th grade students who had applied the cooperative learning method in class 5 with different intensities. The study design used quasi-experimental, to prove the causal relationship between independent variable and dependent variable through a projective measuring tool that contains 9 scenarios, used Posttest-Only Design with Nonequivalent Groups. The results indicated the role of cooperative learning in the development of empathy based on comparative testing in each class using Kruskal-Wallis at 34,673 (P-value = 0,000). The intensity of the implementation of cooperative learning was very influential on the development of student empathy. The data also showed the differences in the development of empathy in each category of distress situations due to the implementation of cooperative learning. Thus, cooperative learning could be one of the stimulations to develop children's empathy, especially the condition of peer interaction could be a trigger for children in developing empathy skills in their environment.

Kejadian Pneumonia pada balita masih menjadi permasalahan di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Banyak faktor yang melatarbelakangi kejadian penyakit ini, baik faktor lingkungan maupun perilaku manusia. Salah satu uapaya yang dilakukan untuk pencegahan penyakit ini adalah dengan peningkatan peran kader posyandu untuk kegiatan promotif dan preventif termasuk mempromosikan perilaku pencarian pertolongan kesehatan dan perawatan balita di rumah, sehingga setiap kader dituntut mengetahui tentang pencegahan pneumonia tersebut. Secara umu penelitian ini ingin melihat efektivitas penyuluhan kesehatan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kader posyandu tentang pencegahan penyakit pneumonia pada balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Darul Kamal Tahun 2017. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest design. Jumlah sampel penelitian 30 orang. Uji statistic yang digunakan paired t-tes tingkat kemaknaan (α) 0,05 (5%). Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai pengetahuan kader sebelum dan sesudah intervensi adalah 27,17:29,00 dengan p-value 0,003 (< 0,05). Many factors caused the incidence of this disease, both environmental factors, and human behavior. One of the efforts undertaken for the prevention of this disease is by increasing the role of Health Post cadres for promotive and preventive activities including promoting health-seeking behavior and home toddler care so that each cadre is required to know about the prevention of pneumonia. In general, this research would like to see the effectiveness of health counseling in increasing the knowledge of health pos cadres on prevention of pneumonia disease in under-five children in the work area of Puskesmas Darul Kamal 2017. The study used quasi-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample size is 30 people. Test statistic used paired t-test significance level (α) 0.05 (5%). This study yields cadre knowledge value before and after intervention is 27,17: 29,00 with p-value 0,003 (<0,05). Background: The role of the learning methods is changing from teacher centered learning to student centered learning (SCL). One of the SCL methods is collaborative and cooperative learning. The past twenty years have seen an increase in collaborative and cooperative learning based pedagogies in colleges, but not in community based health education. The aim of this study is to identify the efectivity of collaborative and cooperative learning in community based health educationMethod: This research used quasi experimental non-randomized control group post test design. Respondent of the research are 111 geriatric cadres of Kecamatan Kepanjen and 72 geriatric cadres of Kecamatan Singosari.Results: Data shows that cadre’s knowledge in first training, 30 and 90 days after first training increased in both groups (p<0,001). There is no relationship between individual characteristic (age, education, occupation, time to work as a cadre, training) and increase of knowledge (p>0,05).Conclusion: Collaborative and cooperative method can increase cadre’s knowledge of stroke effectively and maintain memory retention longer than conventional method.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of biology teaching through inquiry integrated with cooperative towards the critical thinking ability. This research addresses the role of inquiry and cooperative learning strategy as well as these interactions towards the increase of the critical thinking ability. Quasi experimental research of Pretest-postest nonequivalent control group design with factorial design 2x2x2 were implemented on the odd semester in academic years of 2006/2007  on X grade student of the state SMA in Metro City Lampung. The  research sample consists of 96 students, comprising of student from high and low academic abilities. To examine hypothesis, it is used Ancova technique and continued by LSD test. There was a difference on the critical thinking ability  between students who learn by inquiry level 1 with student who learn by inquiry level 2, between students, who have high academic ability and students who have low academic ability, and there was not difference on the critical thinking ability  between students who learn by STAD cooperative  with student who learn by TPS. There is no effect of interaction between inquiry with cooperative, inquiry with student’s academic ability, cooperative with student’s academic ability, inquiry with cooperative and student’s academic ability towards the cognitive achievement Kata kunci: cooperative learning, inquiry, berpikir kritis

The ideas generated by his investigations laid the foundations for countless subsequent studies and have had a direct bearing on the understanding of diabetes. His lifelong enthusiasm for good research has had a great influence on all who worked with him.

The purpose of this study to determine: the effect of cooperative learning type of STAD to improve problem solving ability mathematics between students who were given cooperative learning type STAD with students and who were given direct learning. The type of this research is a quasi-experimental research by taking samples from the existing population. The variable of this research consist of independent variable that is cooperative learning type STAD while the dependent variable is problem solving mathematics ability of student. This research was conducted at SMP Swasta Al-Maksum Percut Sei Tuan. This research will be conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The population in this study is all students  of SMP Swasta Al-Maksum Percut Sei Tuanand the sample in this study are students of grade eight by taking two classes that are VIII-4as experimental class and VII1-1as control class by random. Technique of collecting data in this research by using test. Test used is the problem solving mathematics ability test (pre test and post test). Data that have been collected then analyzed and performed hypothesis testing by using regression test. Based on the results of the analysis is obtained: there are effects of cooperative learning type STAD to improve student problem solving mathematics ability. Therefore, it is suggested that cooperative learning type STAD be used as an alternative for teachers to improve student problem solving mathematics ability.

This study aims to determine the effect of the educational game of balanced nutrition ladder snakes on changes in knowledge and attitudes and actions in elementary school children in Muhammadyah school, Tanjung Morawa district. This type of research is a Quasi-Experimental study (quasi-experimental design) with the design of One Group Pretest- Posttest. The sample in this study was 75 elementary school children Muhammadiyah Kec. Tanjung Morawa. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was filled in by the respondent himself. If the data is normally distributed then the type of test used is the dependent T-test (in pairs). If the data is not normally distributed then the test used is the ranking test. The statistical test results obtained p-value = 0,000 < 0.05, which shows that the influence of snake ladder education game balanced nutrition to changes in knowledge and attitudes in school children. The conclusion in this study is the influence of the educational game of balanced nutrition ladder snakes on changes in knowledge and attitudes in school children.

Introduction: Family perceptions on the role of parents and the growth of infants must be seriously considered by healthcare workers since they can affect the role of family development in taking care of the babies. A family that has optimally understood the role of their development as a parent will be able to give the appropriate care for the babies.Methods: The study aimed to find out the effects of a family-based Maternal Sensitivity Models (MSM) strategy for family perception optimization on the role of parents and the growth of infants. It used a quasi-experimental design with the samples of 50 families. The samples were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using dependent t-test.Results: It confirmed that the Family-Based Maternal Sensitivity Models (MSM) strategy significantly affects family perceptions on the role of parents with t-value 5.915 and p-value 0.000. MSM also significantly affects family perceptions on the growth infants with the t-value -11.257 and p-value 0.000.Conclusions: Maternal Sensitivity Models (MSM) can be well applied as one of the health models provided by healthcare workers to optimize parents’ perceptions and infants’ growth as well as to develop a competent family in giving care for their babies.

Adolescence is a period where their seems to be separated from the role of  their parents and more independent in making their own decisions. But this time, the family plays a role in the behavior of adolescents in the decision making process, one of which is related to education in the selection of majors degree in university  that will determine the future of their children. This research aims to determine the role of family support  In adolescent  for career decision making in major degree a in university. Causal comparative study was used and a sample 301 college student in grade one was selected through nonprobability sampling.  This research was used two research tolls such as the role family was used Family Asessment Device (FAD) and decision making was used Career Decision-Making Profile. The result in this research found that score of the role of family based on mean hipotetic is lower than mean empiric. It means that, the role of family low category. In this research also showed the result  used simple regression ,  F value 0.790 and p value 0.099 > 0.05. it means there is no significant the role of family support in adolescent for decision making in major degree in university.

Background: The imaging for vein vessels or Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV) has own role and advantages on MRI examinations, specifically for evaluating intracranial blood vein circulation. MRV generally uses Phase Contrast (PC) method and  PC-MRV imaging, there is an  important parameter to be considered, its velocity encoding or VENC. VENC is selected before the examination and has to be adjusted  the anticipated blood flow velocity in the examined organs. The right selection of VENC will result in optimum intracranial vessels images and accurate diagnose. The aim of this study is to figure out if there is significant effect of VENC on anatomical information of brain MRV and to find out which VENC the best  intracranial veins demonstrates.Methods: This research was a quantitative study with quasi – experimental approach. Data were obtained from five healthy volunteers who were scanned by using a 3 Tesla MRI device in Radiology Department Siloam Lippo Village Hospitals. Each volunteer was scanned with five VENC variations: 10 cm/s, 15 cm/s, 20 cm/s, 25 cm/s, and 30 cm/s. The MRV images were assessed by two radiologist as the respondent. The Data were analyzed by simple linear regression test and Friedman test.Result: The results showed that there was significant effect of VENC on anatomical information of brain MRV, with significant value below 0,001 (p value 0,05). Mean rank on Friedman test showed that the best VENC to demonstrate intracranial veins was 25 cm/s.Conclution: There was a significant effect of VENC on anatomical information of brain MRV with the VENC of 25 cm/s gave the best image of intracranial veins in general.

The background of the problem in this study originated from students' mathematical critical thinking skills that are still low. One way to overcome these problems is to use Jigsaw cooperative learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of jigsaw cooperative learning on the ability to think critically mathematically elementary school students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent groups pretest-posttets design. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Andir Kidul 1, Bandung Municipality. The instrument used was a test item to measure students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Based on the results of data analysis using the t test at a significance level of 0.05, from the t test results obtained 0.192 results. So it can be concluded that Jigsaw cooperative learning has a significant influence on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.
