The article presents the author's view on the new training course "Personnel Management" for masterdegree builders aimed at forming leadership competencies. It is necessary to change the paradigm of training an engineer and include in the process of the formation such subjects that are aimed at forming his or her organizational competencies, leadership, responsibility for making decisions in the field of team management. As a part of the new training approach, it is proposed to build the leadership skills with the help of active teaching methods: business games, project teams, case studies, training. Basing on work experience and curriculum development, it is known that the main difficulty for compilers of curricula is a selection of those subjects that will help to implement these competencies. Therefore, we propose the subject (module) "Personnel management" that has the deep basis of knowledge of many personal issues and is made up of a set of interdisciplinary themes with a set of new activity tools. The condition for the training of civil engineers is to increase the activity component: application of project management, work in small groups (teams), CDIO initiative, interdisciplinary approaches, practice-oriented training.

The constant need to improve the educational process during the vocational training of students by means of a foreign language, challenges scientists and teachers to explore the most effective approaches to teaching. The aim of the paper is to analyses active teaching methods in the process of forming the professional language competence of students. To study the problem, theoretical methods of pedagogical research have been used by the authors of the article. It has been researched that active teaching methods contribute to the development of thinking skills of student. On the basis of the above examples of active teaching methods, it has been proposed to use the following active methods as Case study, «brainstorming», role play, debates, analysis of specific situations, that encourage students to active mental activity in the process of mastering the educational material. Active teaching methods increase interest and motivation in learning English for specific purposes, develop their independence, contribute to the development of thinking abilities, the ability to express their thoughts in the target language. In parallel with teaching and upbringing, the use of active teaching methods in the educational process ensures the formation and development of so-called universal skills of students. These usually include the ability to make decisions and the ability to solve problems, communication skills and qualities, the ability to formulate messages clearly and set tasks, the ability to listen to and take into account the different points of view and opinions of others, leadership skills and qualities, and the ability to work in a team. The main components of the professionally oriented system are the content of the educational process, the educational activities of the teacher and the activities of students. As a result of interaction of these components there are other elements of system (means, methods and forms, technical means, etc.).

This article states the need to change the approach, as well as the forms and methods of teaching in the process of developing students' speech within the subject "The Russian language and Culture of speech". The purpose of the study is to describe the ways of active teaching methods application in order to improve students' speech culture. The author notes that modern teaching methods have ceased to respond to the needs of society and do not contribute to successful socialization of university graduates. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the author proposes that the work on a text (in the broad sense of the term) should become the main one in the teaching process. . The author proposes an updated process model of trainingenumerates those teaching forms and methods that contribute to the successful implementation of the model, describes the conditions of using these methods in the educational process. According to the author, the modeling of problem-based situations, the use of active teaching forms and methods reveal new opportunities to the teacher, help to develop students' communicative competence, and will largely determine further successful socialization of graduates.

The purpose of this research is to study the need for the students' communication activity component at the Pharmaceutical faculty of VSMU. Dual feature of the levels indicators dynamics in the need for communication is revealed. On the one hand, there is a tendency to reduce the average level in the need for communication and to increase its high level at the expense of girls. On the other hand, there is a fairly significant increase in the average level in the need for communication among young men against the background of an obvious predominance of the average level in the need for communication among the students of the entire sampling. The study allows us to state obvious influence of the informational educational environment at VSMU on the personal growth of students at the Pharmaceutical faculty, on the formation of their communicative competence as the most important component of the professional competence of future pharmacists. The results of the study can be used in the educational process of VSMU, in the activities of the social and pedagogical and psychological service, in the work of educators in academic groups and for tutors.

This paper discusses findings of a research project comparing skills of business-related advanced GNVQ/GCE students in the UK, together with perceptions as to how skills develop through undergraduate experience into employment. Expectations of employers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are also indicated. GNVQ students seem more aware of business needs than GCE students, and appear to have a greater awareness of teamworking. GCE students tend towards a recognition of leadership skills and improvement of self-sufficiency during higher education. Work experience is identified as the major need within higher education for SME employment across Europe and the acquisition of a foreign language is identified as a growing need for graduate employment, not only in Europe but also in certain UK business sectors.

This article examines the problem of implementing active teaching methods for students majoring in 125 Cybersecurity. The study of qualitative analysis of information security risks (IS) is presented on the example of studying the discipline "Risk Theory", namely the use of SWOT-analysis tools for risk assessment in the field of IS of small and medium business. General relevance and possibilities of using SWOT-analysis in the field of IS risk to study the internal environment of the organization, its strengths and weaknesses with the definition of enterprise strategies in the external environment: confronting threats to secure information (confidentiality, availability and integrity), and other its development. Based on scientific sources, the main research of the definition is analyzed: IS risks, risk analysis and their quality assessment. The content and procedure of SWOT-analysis are described. Using forms of group work and active methods (trainings) in the educational process, the basic factors for SWOT-analysis of the virtual organization "Internet Provider" were created, methodical expert assessments were conducted to identify the primary features of these factors, the analysis of the results was obtained.It is proved that the introduction of this technology in the educational process promotes the development of theoretical knowledge and the formation and development of practical skills of future specialists in information and cyber security

Objections to the fact that education is, on the one hand, overburdened by theory and separate from practice or, on the other hand, completely separate from theory can be found in contemporary researches and theory of education. These objections also imply the problem of selecting the content, as well as the way of teaching and formulating the desired outcomes arising from the education process. One of the possible solutions to this problem is the concept of “school for life”, which, in the pursuit of John Dewey’s philosophy of education, leads to the abolition of the false dichotomy of theory and practice in education. Contemporary education can, therefore, no longer be understood as a process in which passive subjects acquire knowledge, but as activity of subjects that by experimenting and innovating adjust the content that comes from experience and ultimately applies them again to everyday life. In this way, the outcomes of the educational process should be understood not as dogmatic reproductions of existing knowledge, but as an entity’s ability to participate fully in the life of the community to which it belongs, including lifelong education, participating in the process of acquiring work experience and active, responsible and constructive action within community. The demand for meaningful education related to the subject’s developmental age, its interests and close to its everyday life experiences is also shaped by the current reform of the Croatian educational system, which is developing under the concept of “school for life”. The aim of this paper is to establish the theoretical framework of such a request, to analyse specific Croatian case and to examine how close to the contemporary tendencies in education Croatian reform in school education has really come to.

The article analyzes the role of the educational game as a means of organizing the speech activity of medical students in English. The authors of the article emphasize the need to use active teaching methods in the educational process while learning English. It has been established that games in English classes can be divided into the following categories: games aimed at mastering new vocabulary; games aimed at grammatical material consolidation; communication games aimed at developing students’ monologs and dialogs. Methods, goals and tasks for forming a communicative model are highlighted. Examples of interaction between a teacher and a student are analyzed. It is noted that the conduct of professional games has a multi-faceted approach and is carried out according to a certain model. Systematic and purposeful use of games as a method of teaching English to medical students contributes to the effective learning in the educational process.

The article “Education in the Context of Interdisciplinary Paradigm in the Transitional Period” by Т. Dyak deals with the issues of interdisciplinary approaches in education in the transitional period. The problems of the essence and distinguishing features of education in the transitional period are defined. The role and place of interdisciplinary bonds as well the requirements for the educational process to meet the needs of the person, society and state are substantiated. The transitional period is revealed to be characterized by the emergence of a set of pedagogical practices caused by the pluralism of cultures, and, consequently, different requirements to education. The formulation of the educational goals and content should take place in a synergistic atmosphere. Intensification of education and the formation of personal qualities appear to be a universal human need nowadays. The problem of creativity as a manifestation of spirituality is emphasized to become the main criterion for the effectiveness of educational processes. Thus, the creation of the necessary, most favorable conditions for self-realization and self-development of a particular person by means of intellectual, emotional, moral, cultural, informational and other vectors of personality formation are found to be the most important tasks.

Abstract The higher education in Russia is now divided into two stages: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Regretfully, the educational process of baccalaureate students has revealed unsatisfactory preparation of young specialists, who have to undergo further training and adaptation to a high-tech industry. The lack of professional competencies of graduating students is rather disappointing for employers. Therefore, it becomes vital to improve the educational process and implement significant changes to the methodological system of education. It is necessary to encompass information technologies. This study is devoted to the educational program for mechanical engineers, which has been developed according to the main employers requirements. The effectiveness of this training approach was proved during the research experiment. It proved the hypothesis that the improved model of student training: leads to a more active and effective studying process, incorporates an individual approach to each student, and contributes to a more efficient development of professional competencies.
