Mucormycosis, often known as black fungus, is a fungal infection caused by the mucormycetes fungi. Zygomycetes is a class of fungi. Mucormycetes, the fungus that cause mucormycosis, are found all throughout the world, especially in soil and in decaying organic waste like leaves, compost piles, and animal dung. It is not contagious and cannot be passed from one person to another. Mucormycosis (also known as zygomycosis) is a dangerous but uncommon fungal infection caused by a fungus known as mucormycetes. Molds can be found all over the place. Mucormycosis is a fungal infection that primarily affects persons who have health issues or who use medications that reduce the body's capacity to resist infections and illness. Infections are most typically acquired when mould spores are inhaled or, less commonly, when spores enter the body through a cut in the skin. It takes place after COVID-19. Home remedies, such as consuming probiotics, and foods that promote immunity, can help to minimise mucormycosis. The main purpose of this review Related to Mucormycosis is to diminish the growth of Mucormycosis by taking Ayurvedic Treatment.

Black fungus is also known as Mucormycosis, and it is occasional but threatening infection. Black fungus is caused by getting into exposure with fungus spores in the surroundings. It can also form in the skin after the fungus enters through a cut, scrape, burn, or another type of skin trauma. Fungi live in the environment, particularly in soil and decaying organic matter such as leaves, compost piles, rotten wood, particularly in soil, compost, and animal dung. This fungal infection is caused by a type of mould known as 'mucromycetes’. It should be noted that this rare fungal infection affects persons who have health issues or who use drugs that weaken the body's ability to fight the infections. There are different types of mucormycosis Trusted Source, including rhino cerebral (sinus and brain), pulmonary (lung), gastrointestinal, and cutaneous (skin) mucormycosis. The COVID-19 generates a sudden change in the interior environment of the host for the fungus, and the medical treatment administered unknowingly promotes fungal development. COVID-19 causes harm to the airway mucosa and blood vessels. It also causes a rise in serum iron, which is required for the fungus to grow. Broad-spectrum antibiotics not only kill potentially harmful bacteria but also beneficial commensals. Although antifungals such as Voriconazole prevent Aspergillosis, Mucor survives and grows due to a lack of resistance. Long-term ventilation decreases immunity, and there is conjecture that the humidifier water that is delivered along with the oxygen transfers the fungus. It is ubiquitous and found in soil and air and even in the nose and mucus of healthy people. It affects the sinuses, the brain and the lungs and can be life-threatening in diabetic or severely immunocompromised individuals, such as cancer patients or people with HIV/AIDS. Doctors believe mucormycosis, which has an overall mortality rate of 50%, may be being triggered by the use of steroids, a life-saving treatment for severe and critically ill Covid-19 patients. Steroids reduce inflammation in the lungs for Covid-19 and appear to help stop some of the damage that can happen when the body's immune system goes into overdrive to fight off coronavirus. But they also reduce immunity and push up blood sugar levels in both diabetics and non-diabetic Covid-19 patients. It’s thought that this drop in immunity could be triggering these cases of mucormycosis.

Mucormycosis (also known as zygomycosis) is a dangerous but uncommon fungal infection caused by a fungus known as mucormycetes. Mucormycosis can be caused by a variety of fungi. Mucormycetes are fungi that belong to the Mucorales scientific order. Molds can be found all over the place. Mucormycosis is a fungal infection that primarily affects persons who have health issues or who use medications that reduce the body's capacity to resist infections and illness. After inhaling fungal spores from the air, it most usually affects the sinuses or lungs. The majority of people are unaffected by these fungus. Breathing in mucormycete spores, on the other hand, can induce an infection in the lungs or sinuses, which can spread to other regions of the body in patients with compromised immune systems. It can also happen as a result of a cut, a burn, or another sort of skin injury. The fatality rate varied based on the patient's underlying condition, the type of fungus, and the affected body part (for example, the mortality rate was 46 percent among people with sinus infections, 76 percent for pulmonary infections, and 96 percent for disseminated mucormycosis). Antifungal medicines such as amphotericin-B, isavuconazole, posaconazole, and various combinations are used to inhibit the growth. Mucormycosis was studied for its spread, symptoms, treatment, prevention, and consequences.

India is set to emerge as the diabetic capital of the world and it is very shameful prediction which India has to face. Heredity, Sedentary life style, lack of exercise and yoga, stress, and improper diet habits are main reasons for spreading of the diabetes. In order to prevent the primary onset we need to concentrate on the next generation of existing diabetes patients. Making them aware will be the first task, followed by provocation for action, followed by action in reality. As diabetes is metabolic disorder it cannot be treated merely by controlling blood sugar level. Ayurveda aimed at rejuvenating the body for not only controlling blood sugar level but also ensure that no further complication should be caused. Ayurvedic treatment for diabetes based on entire change in life style of the person, along with proper medication and diet patient is advised to lead healthy and active life.

Mucormycosis is an aggressive opportunistic fungal infection caused by fungi of the Phycomycetes class including Rhizopus species and Mucor species. The pathogen can be present in the environment, on the skin, and in the orifices of the body. There are several types including Rhinocerebral, Pulmonary, Gastrointestinal, Cutaneous, and Disseminated Mucormycosis.1 The spores infect the paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx, extending to the orbit and brain cavity in persons who have reduced cellular and humoral defenses. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a surge in the cases of rhino-orbital mucormycosis has become a life-threatening combination. Early diagnosis and intervention in the only way to save the vision and life of the affected patient.

Plastic production is escalating tremendously throughout the globe and the reason behind this is its durability and multipurpose utility. But there is a severe scarcity of its management. Tonnes of plastics are dumped into water bodies across the world. These plastics breakdown because of different reasons and results in the plastic debris of size <5mm termed as microplastics (MPs) which are hazardous to aquatic life. They are a potential source of toxins as they offer a large surface area to various chemicals present in the water body when these MPs are ingested by fishes it causes serious health issues leading to mortality of the fishes. Therefore, we comprehensively reviewed the sources of MPs in freshwater systems and its various types and how they get accumulated inside the body of fishes. We found that fishes ingest these particles by mistaken for food or accumulated these particles by consuming from lower trophic organisms. Some of the commonly studied MPs are PE, PS, and PVC, examined from the body of fishes. MPs can cause various ecotoxicological effects on fishes like behavioral change, cytotoxicity, neurotoxicity effects, and liver stress etc. Our review study finds that there is a paucity of information on the accumulation of MPs by freshwater fishes and there are very few studies on its effects also there is a debate whether this accumulation is subjected to the bio-magnification process which ultimately affects human life.

Cancer is currently one of the main health issues in the world. Among different varieties of cancers, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the world and accounts for 75% of the world's cancer. Indeed, skin cancer involves abnormal changes in the outer layer of the skin. Although most people with skin cancer recover, it is one of the major concerns of people due to its high prevalence. Most types of skin cancers grow only locally and invade adjacent tissues, but some of them, especially melanoma (cancer of the pigment cells), which is the rarest type of skin cancer, may spread through the circulatory system or lymphatic system and reach the farthest points of the body. Many papers have been reviewed about the application of image processing in cancer detection. In this paper, the automatic skin cancer detection and also different steps of such a process have been discussed based on the implantation capabilities.

Dengue fever is a disease caused by a family of viruses transmitted by mosquitoes. Dengue virus (DENV), a member of the Flaviviridae family, causes the most widespread mosquito-borne viral infection in humans around the world today. Dengue can affect anyone but tends to be more severe in people with compromised immune systems. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a more severe form of a viral illness. Symptoms include headache, fever, rash, and evidence of bleeding (hemorrhage) in the body. This form of dengue fever can be life-threatening and can progress to the most severe form of the illness, dengue shock syndrome. This chapter reviews the etiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, pathophysiology, transmissions, manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dengue.

The lymphatic system is very important in the immunological activities of the body. Clinicians confirm the diagnosis of infectious diseases by palpating the involved cutaneous lymph node for changes in size, heat, and consistency. Clinical pathologists diagnose systemic diseases through biopsies of superficial lymph nodes. In many parts of the world the goat is considered as an important source of milk and meat products. The lymphatic system has been studied extensively. These studies lack precise information on the natural morphology of the lymph nodes and their vascular and cellular constituent. This is due to using improper technique for such studies. A few studies used the SEM, conducted by cutting the lymph node with a blade. The morphological data collected by this method are artificial and do not reflect the normal three dimensional surface of the examined area of the lymph node. SEM has been used to study the lymph vessels and lymph nodes of different animals. No information on the cutaneous lymph nodes of the goat has ever been collected using the scanning electron microscope.
