The use of the legacy of Eastern scholars and thinkers in the upbringing of young people as modern intellectuals is one of the urgent problems. The hadiths collected by Imam al-Bukhari, the teachings of Naqshbandi, the teachings of Tirmidhi, the wisdom of Yassavi, the works of Ibn Sina, Farobi, Beruni, Mirzo Ulugbek, Yusuf Khas Hajib and others provide views on the education of youth, the use of their sources in the educational process important. The views of Eastern scholars and thinkers on child education can also be used to improve inclusive education. In an inclusive learning environment, classes are conducted according to the abilities of the children with disabilities, taking into account their weaknesses. Then the child's social adaptation, such as the ability to work in a team, joint work planning, enrich the content of activities, the acquisition of cultural and hygienic skills, will be accelerated. It also requires thinking skills, understanding of adults and classmates, and collaboration with them. The task of the study is not how much knowledge children with special needs have when entering school, but how important it is for them to be ready to acquire new knowledge, adapt to the environment, analyze events independently and master movement skills.

The principle of construction and examples of implementation of the developed mathematical model of the smoke exhaust system designed for operational use in case of fire for the elimination of gas pollution and lowering the temperature in the premises. Estimated target features of the installation are based on existing experience, namely: expected aerodynamic airway resistance: 80 Pa and volumetric air mixture flow rate of 3.3 m3/s. The specified characteristics and parameters necessary for the design, or modernization of existing axial fans, and their choice for three operating modes: independent work, joint work with the supply of finely divided water, joint work with the foam generating plant. Simplifications were used in the development of a mathematical model: scheme of the design of the axial fan, which does not involve the presence of a guiding apparatus; it is assumed that the flow in the operating cavity of the pump is axially symmetric; it is assumed that the thermodynamic process taking place in the pump cavity is isothermal; simplified formula of the lifting factor and drag coefficient of the grid is used on the basis of known table data. The mathematical model takes into account: the dimensions of the smoke exhaust system, the number and size of the blades, the angle of attack of the blade, the frequency of rotation, the amount of aerodynamic resistance of the airway, the density and the amount of supply of finely divided water or foam. The examples of the implementation of the developed mathematical model of the smoke exhaust system are illustrated in the form of diagrams of the location of the working points (volume flow of air mixture, m3/s, pressure, Pa; power of the engine of the smoke exhaust system, W) at operation of a smoke exhaust system in the conditions of the average airway for the three above-mentioned operating modes.

AbstractEach school is part of the community and at the same time, a provider of education services. This makes school a Learning Community for both teachers and students. While in the case of students this is a mission accomplished, in that of teachers’ things seem to be a bit more difficult. The latter ones should see themselves as members of a Professional Learning Community (PLC), where each teacher should cooperate with the other to achieve common goals, engage in common research activities for the progress of their school, take part in evaluating school results and propose plans to improve them etc. This research aimed to identify teachers’ perception of the role of school as a Professional Learning Community, to identify how school boards support and encourage this idea through participative management and to identify lines of joint research in which teachers are involved. The instrument used was a questionnaire having 30 close-ended items, administered to pre-university teachers from Bihor county, Romania. The implementation period was January to June 2016. The results show that there is collaboration between the same subject area teachers, who form committees to discuss, analyse and propose solutions. The research has also showed that more effort is required to improve collaboration between more experienced teachers and those who are at the beginning of their career, to improve collaboration between different subject area teachers by getting them to engage in joint projects, but above all, there is a need for a greater involvement of teachers, of school boards in managing schools so that participative management is achieved.

Best-Estimate calculation results from complex thermal-hydraulic system codes (like Relap5, Cathare, Athlet, Trace, etc..) are affected by unavoidable approximations that are unpredictable without the use of computational tools that account for the various sources of uncertainty. Therefore the use of best-estimate codes within the reactor technology, either for design or safety purposes, implies understanding and accepting the limitations and the deficiencies of those codes. Uncertainties may have different origins ranging from the approximation of the models, to the approximation of the numerical solution, and to the lack of precision of the values adopted for boundary and initial conditions. The amount of uncertainty that affects a calculation may strongly depend upon the codes and the modeling techniques (i.e. the code’s users). A consistent and robust uncertainty methodology must be developed taking into consideration all the above aspects. The CIAU (Code with the capability of Internal Assessment of Uncertainty) and the UMAE (Uncertainty Methodology based on Accuracy Evaluation) methods have been developed by University of Pisa (UNIPI) in the framework of a long lasting research activities started since 80’s and involving several researchers. CIAU is extensively discussed in the available technical literature, Refs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7], and tens of additional relevant papers, that provide comprehensive details about the method, can be found in the bibliography lists of the above references. Therefore, the present paper supplies only ‘spot-information’ about CIAU and focuses mostly on the applications to some cases of industrial interest. In particular the application of CIAU to the OECD BEMUSE (Best Estimate Methods Uncertainty and Sensitivity Evaluation, [8, 9]) project is discussed and a critical comparison respect with other uncertainty methods (in relation to items like: sources of uncertainties, selection of the input parameters and quantification of their uncertainty ranges, ranking process, etc.) is presented.

The article presents the results of theoretical justification and practical verification of modern possibilities of using the pictorial method (museum tours) in teaching the subject “The History of Economics and Economic Thought”. The article justifies the evolution of views on the range of sources on historical processes. A modern understanding of “a pictorial turn” in historical research was presented. The virtual museum as an informational resource, multimedia phenomenon, cost-effective model of museum space was considered. The educational experience of the EU countries in using modern methods of working with museum expositions to form economic thinking was studied. The need to turn the traditional paradigm of the museum as a center for preserving historical values into the educational interaction between the tourist student and the objects of the museum’s collection was proved. The article describes the content of the two-stage pedagogical experiment (between 2014 and 2018). The first stage explores the possibility of using educational museum tours and historically significant territories of cities as a method of studying the history of regional economics in the context of seminars. The author’s pedagogical product, that is regional thematic tours on the history of economics, was presented. The second stage develops and verifies the methodology of using online resources of Ukrainian museums (virtual tours, virtual exhibits) to organize the independent work of students in the context of this subject. The thematic catalog of online resources of Ukrainian museums for conducting research activities within this subject was created. The article presents research activities with the exposition of the virtual museum in the framework of the independent work of students. Based on the results obtained from the survey of students from higher education institutions of Ukoоpspilka, it is proved that working in the virtual museum space implies innovative, multidisciplinary, competence-oriented research activities, as well as an effective form of organizing independent work of students.

The article analyzes the views of scientists on the use of lapbooking in elementary schools. It is found that the methodology of lapbooking allows you to unlock the potential of each student in the process of creating individual or more often collective work. In particular, the lapbook forms key skills and abilities, which are required by the educational vector of the New Ukrainian School. In addition, it takes into account cross-curricular learning and social competencies, which help each individual to become successful and adapt in society. The article proves that the use of Lapbooks is reasonable not only when studying a single topic, but also as a complex, systemic type of work, as close to the project and research activities as possible. It was found out that the introduction of lapbooking at different stages of studying subjects is effective, as it covers different types of activity: pair and group work; search methods and work with information (ability to work with sources, generalize and systematize, draw conclusions, formulate own statements concisely and informatively). It is noted that the technique of lapbooking can be applied as early as preschool age with a gradual complication of high school. Consequently, the general essence of lapbooking is systematized with the help of integrative diagrams and charts. It is determined that the educational industry must be flexible to timely respond to changes in society and provide the professional market with specialists, successful and active citizens who are able not only to adapt, but also to realize themselves. The innovativeness of the lapbooking method is that it combines different areas of activity simultaneously: informational, research, design, communicative, creative, technological, aesthetic. The results of the study allow us to recommend lapbooking as the main method of work in elementary school (when studying any topic or academic subject).

Telework, also known as remote work, is now an increasingly popular work system in Poland and around the world. However, the reasons for undertaking remote work by individual teleworkers may be different. The article contains a literature review in terms of both the explication of the concept of teleworking and the motives for undertaking it. The results of the author’s study were also presented, the aim of which was to identify the most important factors influencing the interest in teleworking among students. It was shown that the main motivating factors to work remotely are flexible working hours, the ability to work anywhere in the world and independent work organization. The study was a pilot study carried out just before the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the introduction of remote work in many organizations that had not used teleworking so far. The intention of the author is to conduct a similar study every one to two years in order to compare the main motives for undertaking remote work before and during the pandemic, or just after its completion

The Natural History Society of New Brunswick (1862-1932) based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, produced an impressive body of research, including significant geological discoveries. Research and public education output of the Society was prolific. George Matthew, the Society's leading geologist published more than 200 scientific papers. Between 1862 and 1917 the Bulletin of the Natural History Society of New Brunswick records more than 800 lectures read before the Society and public audiences. Lectures were often at the leading edge of scientific discovery, such as Matthew's 1890 report of the first authentic Precambrian fossil. This amateur society supported the research of its members by developing a significant library. The only other library in the city with scientific resources belonged to the local Mechanics' Institute, later acquired in part by the Natural History Society. It is clear from library reports and minutes that, from the beginning, the intent was to provide members access to a science library necessary to support their research activities. Both libraries were particularly important as the Great Fire of 1877 destroyed personal libraries while the Society and Institute libraries were untouched. The library was particularly strong in North American and British journals and classic works in early geology. Some of the research shortcomings of Society members may have been a result of the library's weakness in European technical literature. The library and collections of the Natural History Society of New Brunswick formed the basis for the present New Brunswick Museum.

The prolonged availability of seafarers on board of water vehicle during voyages forms the features of professional labor activity. When assessing the medical and sanitary situation of life and vital activity of the crew on board a ship, it is necessary to take into account a set of conditions that are integrated into a single notion — «ship environment ». The ship’s environment affects the personnel’s body for the entire period while people are on the voyage. It can cause changes in the state of health. The article presents a review of the literature devoted to the study of the influence of climatic and geographical factors accompanying maritime labor. Natural factors occupy a significant share among the large effects of the ship’s environment that affect the health of seafarers and, accordingly, their ability to work. Among them, the greatest contribution is made by temperature, physico-chemical properties of air, photoperiodic fluctuations. The homeostatic systems of the seafarers ‘ body are very closely dependent on the natural situation of the seas. These conditions impose high requirements and can cause the development of premorbid and pathological conditions. To ensure the protection of the health and working capacity of the crew, it is necessary to study the influence of external factors. The main directions for ensuring the safety and strengthening of the health of seafarers are: forecasting and prevention of health disorders, prenosological diagnostics and timely medical support, rehabilitation measures in the post-voyage period.
