The article analyzes the views of scientists on the use of lapbooking in elementary schools. It is found that the methodology of lapbooking allows you to unlock the potential of each student in the process of creating individual or more often collective work. In particular, the lapbook forms key skills and abilities, which are required by the educational vector of the New Ukrainian School. In addition, it takes into account cross-curricular learning and social competencies, which help each individual to become successful and adapt in society. The article proves that the use of Lapbooks is reasonable not only when studying a single topic, but also as a complex, systemic type of work, as close to the project and research activities as possible. It was found out that the introduction of lapbooking at different stages of studying subjects is effective, as it covers different types of activity: pair and group work; search methods and work with information (ability to work with sources, generalize and systematize, draw conclusions, formulate own statements concisely and informatively). It is noted that the technique of lapbooking can be applied as early as preschool age with a gradual complication of high school. Consequently, the general essence of lapbooking is systematized with the help of integrative diagrams and charts. It is determined that the educational industry must be flexible to timely respond to changes in society and provide the professional market with specialists, successful and active citizens who are able not only to adapt, but also to realize themselves. The innovativeness of the lapbooking method is that it combines different areas of activity simultaneously: informational, research, design, communicative, creative, technological, aesthetic. The results of the study allow us to recommend lapbooking as the main method of work in elementary school (when studying any topic or academic subject).

The implementation of nature-based solutions (NBSs) can be a suitable and sustainable approach to coping with environmental issues related to diffuse water pollution from agriculture. NBSs exploit natural mitigation processes that can promote the removal of different contaminants from agricultural wastewater, and they can also enable the recovery of otherwise lost resources (i.e., nutrients). Among these, nitrogen impacts different ecosystems, resulting in serious environmental and human health issues. Recent research activities have investigated the capability of NBS to remove nitrogen from polluted water. However, the regulating mechanisms for nitrogen removal can be complex, since a wide range of decontamination pathways, such as plant uptake, microbial degradation, substrate adsorption and filtration, precipitation, sedimentation, and volatilization, can be involved. Investigating these processes is beneficial for the enhancement of the performance of NBSs. The present study provides a comprehensive review of factors that can influence nitrogen removal in different types of NBSs, and the possible strategies for nitrogen recovery that have been reported in the literature.

The article gives an analysis of problems of formation of skills in children of the senior preschool age to build stories of different types. On the basis of the theoretical analysis of psycho-pedagogical and special literature, based on the main definition of «building a story», a subordinate term is formulated in relation to the topic of the study: «building stories of different types» The psychological and pedagogical conditions of formation of sustainable skills of creation and expedient use of stories of different types in children of the senior preschool age are revealed and substantiated. The components, criteria, indicators and levels of formation of abilities to build a different type of narration in children of the sixth year of life are determined. The stages of formation of persistent skills for building different types of stories by senior preschoolers are singled out. The lack of effective pedagogical technologies in relation to the formation of skills in the children of the senior preschool age to build and expedient use of narration of comprehensive typing significantly reduces the effective preparation of children to school. The proposed pedagogical and motivational technology for the formation of children of the sixth year of a sustainable ability to create stories of various types provides the small person an effective communicative tool, which will definitely promote its self-realization both in school environment and in career, society, own life. The prospects for further research are outlined, such independent types of stories are presented as a story - an instruction and a story - a presentation.

Social and emotional difficulties are common during the kindergarten stage, the changes between family and school environment leave the child at risk of a range of emotional and social problems at that point. This pressure confronts the child's weak ability at that age, linguistically, to express his feelings and thoughts in a clear and understandable manner, as well as the beginning of his ability to control and organize his feelings and behaviors. All this constitutes factors that make the child's adaptation process on the emotional, social and cognitive level difficult during the kindergarten stage. While many studies confirm that the child is an emotional and social being par excellence, and while educational programs emphasize in most of their content on cognitive learning, the child's needs, personality and sentiments are ignored, hence the question raised about the role of emotional competencies in establishing other competencies? Since the kindergarten stage by its nature requires that the child learn to adapt to the environment and establish healthy relationships, our paper aims to study the relationship between emotional competencies (Self-awareness and Self-regulation*) and their indicators and social competencies (Social awareness and Relationships skills*) and their indicators and determine the mutual impact between them. As a tool for this study we used SEAM scale to measure emotional and social competencies to measure the relationship between emotional variables as an independent variable to see its effect on the dependent variable, which is in our study social competencies. Using the inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and simple linear regression coefficient) to measure the relationship between two variables, results demonstrated that there is a positive semantic relationship confirms that emotional competencies and their determinants are highly influential competencies that establish social competencies and their determinants at preschool age. Participant were 191 children, aged 4 to 6 years old at the time initial assessment, in kindergarten, within the group of schools relied to the Moroccan Foundation for promoting preschool education.

Clay of the deposit Liepa is used for the production of ceramic building and finishing bricks in the factory “Lode” in Latvia. In the present work different types of these clays were investigated and “quartz effect” was determined using quartz sand as a leaning material. The substitution of quartz sand with milled E-glass fibre from Valmiera Glass was investigated and the changes in the magnitude of the quartz inversion effect were analysed. Thermal expansion was the main method for the determination of possible formation of cracks during technological process. Powder of milled glass fibre in amount of 5–10 % affects such properties as water uptake, porosity and apparent density and provides the required material properties at a lower firing temperature.

AbstractPlurality is considered to be one of the most important indicators of rurality in the contemporary society. But in what sense can plurality and diversified geographic context of countryside make a difference for development of farm tourism, if any? This paper aims to explore the significance of rural diversity of Croatia for farm diversification into leisure-orientated activities. The main method is comparison of spatial distribution of those farms, on the one hand, and seven different types of rural areas, on the other. Among others, the results indicate the significance of overall (mass) tourism development along the coast for development of tourism on agricultural households. Furthermore, age and education are confirmed as important factor in the process.

The analysis of contemporary pedagogical studies, the practice of special pedagogy and psychology shows that the dialogic speech development of preschoolers with mental retardation continues to be an urgent problem in the field of education and upbringing of children with disabilities. We analyze the views of various researchers on the significance of the dialogic speech development of preschoolers. It is noted that despite the apparent simplicity of the dialogue, greater independence from language norms, participation in effective communication presents significant difficulties for children of this category. We also present an analysis of the results of our own diagnostic examination of dialogic speech of senior preschoolers with mental retardation. We reveal the features of performing three tasks by children of senior preschool age in the general education group and a group of children with mental retardation. Tasks revealed the ability of children to answer questions of different types, implement the plot using the characters’ dialogue, and request information. It turned out that children with mental retardation are characterized by a long “inclusion” in the task, poor vocabulary, use of simple phrases, and inability to update their speech and thought capabilities. At the same time, the obtained data allow us to outline a perspective in the development of dialogue of children.
