Tobacco farmers are individuals who are members of farming groups engaged in the cultivation of the agricultural sector in the form of tobacco. When carrying out tobacco cultivation activities, farmers are vulnerable to work accidents. The purpose of this research was to describe the characteristics of work accidents on tobacco farmers in Kalisat District, Jember Regency. The research design used descriptive quantitative. This research employed a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 97 tobacco farmers as respondents. The research data were collected through a demographic questionnaire and a work accident accident questionnaire.  In the type indicator, it was found that 43.3% farmers often experienced incidents of being hit by immovable objects. In the object indicator, 36.1% farmers often experience accidents due to work equipment. In the indicator of the nature of the wound 26.8% farmers often experienced minor injuries and 9.3% stated that they always experienced these incidents. In the indicator of the location of the wound, farmers often experienced injuries on the hands, namely 36.1%. In the cause indicator, 66.0% farmers stated that they rarely use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). According to the results of this study, work accidents among tobacco farmers in Kalisat District are still highly prevalent. This research will be utilized as a preventative and assessment tool for public health center in the application of UKK and for PPL to develop outreach activities in order to reduce the number of work accidents.   Keywords: agricultural; tobacco farmer; work accidents; descriptive

K3 program aimed to provide security for employees in carrying out their work and reduce company costs. If work accidents and illness arise due to work relations, occupational safety and health (K3) must be a top priority in all companies in order to achieve satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of the level of workforce satisfaction with the K3 program in the AMP (Asphal Mixing Plant) section of PT. Kerinci Development in 2017. The design of this study was descriptive. The population is all labor in PT. Prima Pembangunan Kerinci AMP section with 30 samples. The method of sampling with total sampling technique, the study was conducted in March - August 2017 and the research instrument using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study as many as 13 workers (43.3%) were not satisfied with work safety and as many as 17 workers (56.7%) were not satisfied with the work health of the K3 program in the AMP (Asphal Mixing Plant) PT. Prima Pembangunan Kerinci in 2017. It is hoped that the company leaders will conduct routine health checks every month and also leaders pay more attention to employee safety by providing training on awareness of using personal protective equipment and introducing personal protective equipment and ways of using it, so that employees can use at any time in the event of a work accident.

A work accident is an undesirable adverse event against a human, damaging property or disadvantage to the process. Data from the ILO in 2013 says that one worker die every 15 seconds due to workplace accidents. This study aims to analyze accidents in welding workers in CV. Cahaya Tiga Putri Kelurahan Sungai Sapih Kecamatan Kuranji Padang in 2017. The research design used was cross-sectional study. This research was conducted at CV. Cahaya Tiga Putri Padang located at Jalan Lolongkaran Sungai Sapih Padang in December to July 2017. The population of this research were welding workers. Samples were taken using total sampling technique, as many as 32 people. Data were analyzed univariat and bivariate with chi-square test. The result of the research shows that 46,9% of respondents have work accident, 53,1% of respondents have unsafe behavior, 53,1% of respondent have unsafe condition, 56,3% respondent have bad knowledge. From the statistical test results known there was a relationship between unsafe acts with work accidents, there was a relationship between unsafe conditions with work accidents and there was a relationship between knowledge with accidents. To reduce the number of occupational accidents, it is expected that workers should always working with using personal protective equipment (PPE), create a safe working environment and for the owner in order to improve worker knowledge by providing training and promotion of occupational health and safetty such as counseling about PPE.Key words : Work Accident, Unsafe Action, Unsafe Condition, Knowledge

Every job must have risks and potential hazards that threaten, the existence of rules and regulations governing the implementation of work intended to minimize the occurrence of a work accident. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of work accidents, the causes of work accidents and the most dominant factors. This research method uses quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study amounted to 40 of 62 respondents. Data collection by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results of research on the types of workplace accidents that occur are tripping, hammering, electric shock, in the hands and legs. While the causes of work accidents that occur are lack of knowledge of workers, physical conditions that do not support, do not wear personal protective equipment, the alarm system does not meet the requirements, the authority of the equipment due to frequent use. The most dominant factor of the types of work accidents is statement X1.3 (hammered) with a percentage value of 62.50%, and from the cause of work, an accident is statement Y1.3 (Not wearing personal protective equipment) with a percentage value of 65 %.

A work accident is an event that is obviously undesirable and causes losses such as time, property and loss of life. In conditions of work accidents required the process of controlling the potential hazards as a cause of accidents. The purpose of this research is to arrange draft of manual document of safety and health in PPSU DKI Jakarta. This research uses research and development method. Informant determination was done by purposive sampling technique. Informants amounted to 5 people, namely Lurah, Sekretaris Kelurahan, Section Head Economic Development and Environment, Workers Coordinator PPSU and PPSU Workers. The data were collected using semi structured interview technique and field observation. The result of this research is the design of work safety and health manual document at PPSU DKI Jakarta. Suggestions that researchers recommend to the Kelurahan in particular the work units of Penanganan Prasarana dan Sarana Umum of Kelurahan include: reviewing aspects of OHS in SOPs, conducting polls with PPSU workers, making strategic control measures involving workers directly, implementing OSH culture every work implementation, always checks the feasibility of PPE, and improves the performance of K3 in the form of making new SOP according to the needs of K3 PPSU.

Occupational accident is one of the most frequent problems with workers in the company. This work accident usually occurs because of the factor of the worker himself and the working environment which in this case is from the employer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the most dominant factors that affect the workplace accident prevention efforts on the occurrence of work accidents in CV. Pacific Harvest Muncar Banyuwangi. The research design used was cross sectional. The research population is All employees in the production department CV. Pacific Harvest of 273 people and a large sample of 162 people. The sampling technique using Simple random sampling and data collection using questionnaire then analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed that there is influence of K3 assurance against work accident (p-value = 0,022 <0,05); there is effect of K3 training to work accident (p-value = 0,039 <0,05); there is influence of APD to work accident (p-value = 0,023 <0,05); no effect of workload on work accident (p-value = 0,938> 0,05); and There is no effect of working hours on work accidents (p-value = 0.699> 0.05). The conclusion is expected for the respondent to pay more attention to health and safety while doing his job because of the many factors that can cause the work accident, the use of personal protective equipment according to the rules and always pay attention to the condition of the field and safe action in work will decrease the risk of accident work.

One of the causes of workplace accidents is the lack of awareness of the use of personal protective equipment for workers in the workplace. One of the ways to prevent workplace accidents is to require personal protective equipment (PPE) that meets the requirements, namely: comfort in use, does not hinder the work process, and provides effective protection against types of hazards. The objective of this research was to analyze the knowledge, attitudes, actions of employees in the use of personal protective equipment with work accidents at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The design of this research was quantitative method of correlation(correlation study)  and approach cross sectional. The sampling technique was use Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with a sample of 96 respondents, the processing unit and engineering unit at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The results of the research data were analyzed by ordinal regression test. The results of statistical analysis with ordinal regression showed that there was no relationship between knowledge, attitudes, actions of employees in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) with the occurrence of work accidents at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The company must play an active role in giving awareness to employees about the importance of adhering to procedures and complying with the regulations in the use of personal protective equipment while working

This research is conducted because a high number of accidents occured during the workplace in PG. Krebet Baru. There were about 45 accidentsin 2013 and 32 out of 45 accidentscame from the Maintenance Division.  This research is needed for the purpose of decreasing the number of accidents. The methods used in this research are hierarchycal task analysis (HTA), standarized plant risk analysishuman reliability assessment (SPAR-H), and fault tree analysis (FTA). In this research, there are 4 stations. They are milling station, purification, maturation, and spinning. Based on this research, there are 5 accidents. They are damaged muscle, damaged bone, graze, damaged eye, and injuries from a fall. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the workplace conditions and the lack of worker awareness on the importance of protective equipment usage are the main causes of these work accidents. Based on these causes, the suitable solution is to change several work methods and instruct the workers about using protective equipment.

Abstract Objective: This study aimed to assess the medical students’ opinions and views on undertaking SLICE as a formative assessment. Methods: This was a qualitative, exploratory study. Purposive sampling technique was used to select final year medical students who have undertaken a formative assessment through SLICE in their clerkship rotation. Total 32 students participated in this study .Four sets of focus group discussions (FGD) were conducted from medical students who had recently gone through their clinical clerkship modules for Pediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery and Gynecology& Obstetrics. Each recorded FGD was transcribed verbatim. Thematic analysis was conducted manually. Themes were identified from the transcribed data, coded and analyzed. In order to achieve adequate coding and researcher reliability, investigator triangulation was performed. The initial thematic analysis was performed by the primary investigator. Thereafter, two more investigators independently analyzed the data. Before the data was finalized, all the three investigators reached a final consensus upon the themes that had emerged, ensuring triangulation of the analyzed data. Results: A four staged thematic analysis was conducted, in which five major themes and five sub-themes emerged. The main themes being: Purpose, Learning, Timing, Relevancy and Fairness of SLICE. Conclusion: The students generally thought that SLICE was effective in enhancing their clinical skills learning and should be conducted more frequently with minor adjustments. Continuous...

PG. Poerwodadie is one of the white crystal sugar factories left by the Dutch East Indies. In the production process with a fairly high risk of work accidents, the company provides Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). However, most workers have not complied with the use of PPE in the work area. Therefore, it is necessary to research factors related to non-compliance with the use of PPE. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between age, years of service, education, and attitudes with workers who were not obedient in using PPE. This research uses quantitative with the cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all workers at the PG. Poerwodadie manufacturing station totals 80 people. The study concludes that there was a relationship between the age of workers and non-compliance with the use of PPE with the value of Phi and Cramer's V = 0.337. There was a relationship between the working period and non-compliance with the use of PPE with a value of 0.329. There was a relationship between worker knowledge and non-compliance with the use of PPE with the value = 0.279. There was no relationship between worker attitudes and non-compliance with the use of PPE

This study aims to determine how the influence of operating capacity, sales growth and operating cash flows on financial distress. The population in this study israll agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013-2017. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling which produced 8 samples in a period of 5 years, namely as many as 40 units of data samples. The analytical method used is logistic �regression analysis which is processed. using SPSS Version 25. Based on the results of this study, it was found that simultaneous operating capacity, sales growth and operating cash flows influence the occurrence of financial distress. Then partially, operating capacity and sales growth have no effect on the occurrence of financial distress, while operating cash flows have a positive and significant effect on the occurrence of financial distress.�Keyword : Financial Distress, Operating capacity, Sales growth, Operation cash flow.
