Abstract This action research aims to improve the academic supervision competency of madrasa principals through technical guidance during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was carried out in January s.d. May 2021. The Action Research involved four heads of Madrasah Aliyah in Central Jakarta as participants, researchers as mentors, and three observers. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, filling out questionnaires, and document assessment. The research data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification, accompanied by a description of quantitative data on test results, process assessment, and document assessment. Actions are carried out in two cycles. The results of observations showed an increase in online mentoring participation from 75% in the first cycle to 87.5% in the second cycle; there was an increase in the ability of madrasah principals in preparing academic supervision from 72% in the first cycle to 92.5% in the second cycle; the increase in knowledge about academic supervision increased from 73.25 before the action to 83 after the action, and improvement in  the ability of the head of madrasah to prepare reports on academic supervision reached a score of 92.5%% at the end of the activity. Based on this research, it can be concluded that online technical guidance during the Covid-19 pandemic can improve the ability of madrasa principals to carry out academic supervision.   Abstrak Penelitian Tindakan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan kepala madrasah melaksanakan supervisi akademik pada masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui pendampingan daring. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari s.d. Mei 2021. Penelitian Tindakan melibatkan empat kepala Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Jakarta Pusat sebagai peserta pendampingan, peneliti sebagai pendamping, dan tiga observer. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, pengisian kuesioner, serta penilaian dokumen. Data penelitian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi, dilengkapi deskripsi data kuantitatif hasil tes, penilaian proses, dan penilaian dokumen. Tindakan dalam bentuk pendampingan daring dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan pertisipasi pendampingan daring dari 75% pada siklus-I menjadi 87,5% pada siklus-II; terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kepala madrasah dalam menyusun program supervisi akademik dari 72% pada siklus-I menjadi 92,5% pada siklus-II; kemampuan kepala madrasah menyusun laporan supervisi akademik mencapai skor 92,5%% di akhir kegiatan, dan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang supervisi akademik meningkat dari 73,25 sebelum tindakan menjadi 83 setelah tindakan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dapa meningkatkan kemampuan kepala madrasah dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the basic math skill students 5-6 years old can be improved through music and movement. This research was conducted at TKIT Ibnu Sina Duren Sawit, East Jakarta Timur, with as many as 27 students study subjects. The study was conducted in two cycles and accompanied by 2 teachers who act as observers, method action research. Data collected through observation and interviews as well as qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data were analyzed by comparing the students’ grades in cycle 1 and cycle 2 while the qualitative data was analized by data reduction, display data, and conclusion. The results showed an increase in students’ basic math skill through music and movement. In cycle 2 the development of the mathematical aspects of general intelligence has increased 23% from the initial conditions before the study, in wich each indicator increased by 52% compared to the time of observation. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the students’ basic math skill can be improved through music and movement. It is thus suggested to kindergarten teachers to use music and movement in order to improve the learning basic math skill of students. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah kemampuan dasar matematika siswa usia 5-6 tahun dapat ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan music and movement . Penelitian ini dilakukan di TKIT Ibnu Sina Duren Sawit, Jakarta Timur, dengan sebanyak 27 siswa subjek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan didampingi oleh 2 orang guru yang bertindak sebagai pengamat, metode penelitian tindakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan membandingkan nilai siswa dalam siklus 1 dan siklus 2 sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis dengan reduksi data, data tampilan, dan kesimpulan. Hasilanya menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan matematika dasar siswa melalui kegiatan music and movement . Pada siklus 2 perkembangan aspek matematika dasar telah meningkat 23% dari kondisi awal sebelum penelitian, yang mana setiap indikator meningkat sebesar 52% dibandingkan dengan waktu pengamatan. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan matematika dasar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan music and movement. dengan demikian disarankan kepada guru TK untuk menggunakan music and movement dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan matematika dasar siswa.

This study discusses the empowerment of productive zakat aimed at fostering the welfare of mustahik. This research is a programme on the implementation of the Zakat Amil Agency in the distribution of zakat. This research uses qualitative method in order for it be relevant to the results achieved. The sources of the data in this study are relevant literature both in the form of books, journals and articles used to compile theories about problems that are the objects of the research. Based on our findings, the mustahik receive zakat from the Zakat Amil Agency with the scheme of productive zakat. In relation to the data compilation in this study, the techniques used include the activities and the development of the Zakat Amil Agency in daily activities to manage zakat and mustahik’s productive zakat in organizing the programmes. Data analysis was conducted by structuring data in the form of compiling, classifying and testing data during the research. Data analysis was carried out to describe the processes and results of examinations from transcripts and notes and other materials. In relation to the qualitative approach, the data analysis is conducted in three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and reduction of conclusions.

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the diction, (2) prosody, and (3) the use of stylistic collection of poems "Mixed roar of Dust" by Chairil this Anwar.Penelitian using qualitative methods that are deskriptif.Objek this study were 1) structure, diction, figure of speech, prosody, stylistics and 2) the meaning or message contained in the poetry of Chairil Anwar. This research data is lines and verses that contain 1) the structure, diction, figure of speech, prosody, and style, as well as 2) the meaning and the message or thought that would be submitted by the poet. Data collection techniques are engineering documentation. Techniques and procedures analysis using three grooves: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that one characteristic of poetry Chairil Anwar is the powers that be in the choice of words. Every word he created capable of causing a strong imagination, and evoke a different impression, able to liven up the atmosphere, with vivid, so it emits a deep compassion for peniklmatnya. In addition, the strength in diction, characteristic lies in the poetry and literary.

This research motivated presence of symptoms that can be seen in the field that the biological activity and learning outcomes have not achieved the expected result of 78. The cause of the low biological activity and learning outcomes is presumably because the teacher actively describes the material, give examples, and exercises while students just listen, take notes, and do the exercises. Learning as it failed to give students the chance to discover, establish and develop his own knowledge. This type of research is done in an attempt repair of the problems mentioned above is a Classroom Action Research. Data of this research is taken using an instrument tests, observation sheet and evaluation test results are processed in a qualitative study. The results showed that by using cooperative learning type Number Heads Together can increase the activity of learning and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA1 SMA 4 Pontianak. This research aims to describe the types and meanings that appear in lexical cohesion in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The benefits of this research are theoretical and practical benefits. This research uses descriptive qualitative recearch. The data of this research are in the form of words and phrases contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye, the source of data in this study is a collection of texts in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. In this research, the writer uses descriptive method, using documentation technique, namely reading and taking notes. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of this research data uses triangulation theory. based on the results of the research found, there are as many as 97 lexical cohesion data in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The results of the lexical cohesion research data contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye include the types of repetitions as many as 55 data, which consists of 12 data epizeukis repetitions, 3 data repetition of tautotes, 14 data of anaphora repetitions, 11 data of epistropha repetition, simploke repetition of 3 data, 9 data for mesodiplosis repetition, 2 data for epanalepsis repetition, and 1 data for anadiplosis repetition. Then the type of synonymous lexical cohesion is 6 data, antonym is 18 data, collocation is 6 data, hyponym is 5 data, and finally equivalence 7 data.Key words: lexical cohesion, novel Pergi, Tere Liye

This research is a classroom action research which aims to find out the planning, process, and results of beach ball learning methods in students' German speaking skills. The research data consists of two types, namely: qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data is obtained through observation, and quantitative data is obtained through the first cycle and second cycle speaking skills tests. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results showed that speaking skills with the percentage of grades obtained by students in the first cycle reached 60.66%, and the second cycle reached 78.25%. These results indicate that the application of the beach ball learning method increases in students' German speaking skills

This study aims to describe the factors that support students' ability in the learning process to speak using video. This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was done in four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Quantitative data was gained from the score of the student's speaking test. The test was given at the end of every cycle. The qualitative data was collected through the result of observation. It described the factors that support the students' ability to speak based on the result observation from the collaborator activities both the students and the researcher itself. The research aimed to explain how video can increase students' speaking skills in the second semester of the English Education Study Program for IKIP Gunungsitoli. Using video can increase students' skills in speaking. Quantitative data support it included test results in every cycle. The quantitative data show that students have improved speaking skills in every cycle using video and reaching the indicator of success. The students' ability to speak cannot pass the score standard in the cycle because most students cannot convey their ideas about the material. However, in cycle II, there is increasing in student's ability to speak. The quantitative data also is supported by the qualitative data through observation results. The observation sheet result describes that the students' activities improved every meeting by using video.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Jarimatika method in improving the multiplication ability of grade III students of MI Manba'ul Huda Tunjungrejo for the 2019/2020 academic year. This study describes the application of the Jarimatika method to the third grade students of MI Manba'ul Huda and then analyzes the suitability of the theory with practice so that its effectiveness can be determined. Collecting data in this study used interview and documentation methods while data analysis used Milles and Huberman's model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Jarimatika method can improve students' numeracy skills. Students look active and happy when applying the Jarimatika method. The test results showed that the majority of students had good multiplication arithmetic skills. In addition, there are three criteria for the effectiveness of learning methods that must be met. First, the learning completeness of grade III students shows that the majority of students have exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. Second, there is an increase and a difference between initial understanding and after learning. Third, it can increase the interest and motivation of students who have difficulty calculating multiplication

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA, dan sintaks pembelajaran dengan metode dengar pandang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitati. Sumber data penelitian adalah interaksi pembelajaran antara pengajar dan pemelajar BIPA dalam video Pesta Akademia 21 Tahun APPBIPA: Kelas Maya APPBIPA Jawa Timur dan Sumatra Utara. Adapun data penelitian berupa kalimat yang mencerminkan tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA dan sintaks pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dengan metode dengar pandang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) bentuk tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA meliputi ucapan terima kasih, ucapan minta maaf, ucapan memuji, dan ucapan selamat. (2) Sintaks pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dengan metode dengar pandang meliputi tahapan, penyajian konten oleh pengajar BIPA,  pengajar BIPA menjelaskan konten, pengulangan konten, dan pemelajar BIPA mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara.Katakunci: dengar pandang,  sintaks pembelajaran, tuturan ekspresif Abstract:This study aims to describe the expressive speech act of BIPA teachers and the syntax of learning using dengar pandang method. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The source of research data was learning interaction between BIPA teachers and learners in the video Pesta Akademia 21 Tahun APPBIPA: Kelas Maya APPBIPA Jawa Timur dan Sumatra Utara. The data were sentences that show the BIPA teacher's expressive speech act and the syntax of learning speaking skills using the pandang dengar method. Data were collected by using observation technique. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman model, including the stage of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed: (1) the expressive speech acts of BIPA teachers include thanking, apologizing, praising, and congratulating. (2) The syntax of learning speaking skills using pandang dengar method including stages of content presentation by BIPA teachers, content explanation, content repetition, and BIPA learners develop their speaking skillsKeywords: dengar pandang, learning syntax, expressive speech

The barrier of learning listening is experienced by students that make them feel anxious. Consequently, it easily effects their performance during listening class. Therefore, this study is aimed to describe the anxiety types and causes of anxiety confronted by EFL students in listening class at university level. To accomplish this aim, Qualitative research designs was applied by the researchers. The research subjects were English Department Students in IAIN Tulungagung. The research data were obtained through observation in listening class and in-depth interviews to the six most anxious informants. Then, the collected data was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In order to check trustworthiness of data, theoretical and methodological triangulations applied. The result of this study was revealed that there were six symptoms of anxiety confronted by the students in listening class, that were categorized as the type of Arousal Anxiety (ArA), Apprehension Anxiety (ApA), and Mixed Anxiety (MA) also revealed five causes of anxiety. Those results inform the lecturer to be understood about students’ anxiety and start to create the joyful learning in listening class so that they are more comfortable following the class.
