Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic requires children to study at home. All student learning activities are carried out at home with guidance from parents. So that the role of parents in educating children is in the first place. Parents are the main responsibility for the education of their children. The purpose of writing this article is to see how the efforts made by parents in accompanying their children during the pandemic. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The method is, the method used is based on data obtained from the research field. In this study, besides wanting to see the child's learning process, the role and parenting pattern or mentoring of parents to their children during online learning that you want to observe carefully. Parents can apply teaching methods that involve daily activities such as making food, cleaning the house, or other things that can be created with the material being studied by the child. From the results of research on the role of parents in accompanying children during online learning, they still find various obstacles ranging from a lack of understanding of the condition of each child.   Abstrak Adanya pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan anak untuk belajar di rumah. Seluruh kegiatan belajar siswa dilaksanakan di rumah dengan bimbingan dari orang orang tua. Sehingga peranan orang tua dalam mendidik anak berada pada urutan pertama. Orang tua merupakan penanggung jawab utama dalam pendidikan anak-anaknya. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah melihat bagaimana upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh orang tua dalam mendampingi anak selama pandemi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode tersebut merupakan, metode yang digunakan berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari lapangan penelitian. dalam penelitian ini selain ingin melihat proses pembelajaran anak peran dan pola asuh atau pendampingan orang tua kepada anak anaknya selama pembelajaran daring yang ingin diamati secara seksama. Orang tua bisa menerapkan metode pengajaran yang melibatkan kegiatan sehari-hari seperti membuat makanan, membersihkan rumah, atau lainnya yang bisa dikreasikan dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari oleh anak. Dari hasil penelitian peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak selama pembelajaran daring masih menemukan berbagai kendala mulai dari kurangnya pemahaman akan kondisi anak masing-masing.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran apa saja yang orang tua berikan selama mendampingi anak dalam kegiatan belajar di rumah pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pegabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui kegiatan yang dikemas secara workshop tentang peran orang tua di masa pandemic Covid-19 dalam pembelajaran daring bagi anak usia sekolah dasar, sedangakan yang menjadi khalayak sasarannya adalah para orang tua di Desa Cikalongsari Kecamatan Jatisari Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi orang tua dalam membantu, membimbing anak belajar secara daring di rumah dan memahami bagaimana pentingnya pengawasan bagi anak dalam proses pendidikan, sekaligus dapat merasakan bagitu berat tugas seorang guru dalam mendidik anak di sekolah. Kata Kunci: peran orang tua, masa pandemi covid-19   This community service activity aims to find out what roles parents give while accompanying children in learning activities at home for elementary school aged children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in community service activities is through activities that are packaged in workshops on the role of parents during the Covid-19 pandemic in online learning for elementary school aged children, while the target audience is parents in Cikalongsari Village, Jatisari District, Karawang Regency. The results of this community service activity provide knowledge and understanding for parents in helping, guiding children to learn online at home and understanding how important supervision is for children in the educational process, as well as being able to feel how heavy a teacher's task is in educating children at school. This research is to find out how online learning is during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP 5 Muhammadiyah Tulangan. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method that will describe the research results. The method of data collection was done by conducting interviews with the teachers who teach at the school. The approach used in this research is ethnography and phenomenology to find out directly the efforts made to improve the results of learning activities. In order to continue to provide good education, the teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan are trying to understand the problems of online learning, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak. Several attempts were made to improve student learning activities. The results of this study found that there were two kinds of efforts, namely online learning with creative teaching methods and offline learning with a capacity of 50%. Understanding the material provided by the teacher can be accessed in face-to-face learning which is limited to 50%. Thus, learning activities during COVID-19 can take place as fully and effectively as possible by making maximum efforts to make the efforts that have been made.

ABSTRAK  Sekolah dasar Islam Al-Ikhlas merupakan satuan unit dari Yayasan Masji Al-Ikhlas (YMAI)  yang terus mengalami peningkatan baik dari pembelajaran, jumlah siswa dan sarana prasarana. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana strategi peningkatan lingkungan sekolah di sekolah dasar Islam Al-Ikhlas Jakarta Selatan. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk memahami fenomena tentang sesuatu hal yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian dan mendeskripsikan dalam bentuk bahasa dan kata-kata. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa strategi peningkatan lingkungan sekolah di SD Islam Al-ikhlas secara internal yaitu kepemimpinan, sumber daya manusia, kurikulum dan kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dan keuangan. Sedangkan strategi peningkatan lingkungan secara eksternal melalui peningkatan peran orang tua/masyarakat, peningkatan teknologi dan kebijakan pemerintah.  Kata Kunci :Strategi, peningkatan, lingkungan sekolah    ABSTRACT  The Al-Ikhlas Islamic Primary School is a unit of the Masjid Al-Ikhlas Foundation (YMAI) which continues to experience an increase in both learnings, the number of students, and infrastructure. The purpose of this research is to find out how the strategy for improving the school environment in Islamic elementary school Al-Ikhlas, South Jakarta. This research method is carried out with a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the phenomenon of something experienced by the research subject and describe it in the form of language and words. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the internal strategies for improving the school environment at Al-Ikhlas Islamic Elementary School are leadership, human resources, curriculum and teaching, and learning activities, and finance. Meanwhile, the strategy for improving the environment externally is through increasing the role of parents/community, improving technology, and government policies.  Keywords : strategy, improvement, school environment

This study aims to determine the role of school residents in the formation of the religious character of students in Al Husna Islamic Elementary School and Al Qudwah Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research (field research). The research was conducted in two places, namely (1) Al Husna Rangkasbitung Islamic Elementary School and Al Qudwah Integrated Elementary School Kalanganyar. Data were collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are; (1) religious character is needed and must be possessed by students to face changing times and moral degradation. The formation of religious character can be assessed from the aspect of the spiritual attitude of students. (2) the role of school residents such as principals, teachers and parents is very important in shaping the character of students, educators as second parents in schools are the main motor in shaping the religious character of students. (3) the role of parents cannot be underestimated in an education, students who spend more time at home ideally parents should be able to synergize in the formation of the religious character of students when at home. (4) inhibiting factors for the formation of religious character in Islamic schools, one of which is educational policies that are not in line with the school program. (5) efforts are being made to optimize the formation of religious characters by providing education and training for teachers around character building, appreciation of students and parental liaison books.

This study aims to determine the process of online learning and offline learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Tanggulangin Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative method. Methods of collecting data by conducting interviews with one of the teachers who teach at the school. There are two kinds of learning carried out by SMP Muhammadiyah Tanggulangin, namely online learning and offline learning. Online learning began to be implemented when the government issued a warrant to study at home. However, in June 2020 the school decided to continue offline learning. This learning has special requirements so that students can enter school offline again. Until now, offline and online learning can run in a conducive and orderly manner.

Micro teaching merupakan kegiatan mengajar yang dilakukan secara sederhana dan merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga dapat belajar berbagai macam metode mengajar bahasa Inggris. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar micro teaching mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 28 mahasiswa pada semester tiga. Data diperoleh melalui pembelajaran daring dan wawancara yang dilakukan melalui grup WhatsApp ataupun chat pribadi. Melalui pembelajaran micro teaching, mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar melalui pembelajaran micro teaching, mahasiswa juga dapat menggunakan berbagai metode mengajar pada pembelajaran micro teaching, baik melalui Zoomataupun mengirimkan video presentasinya. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah sebagai langkah awal bagi mahasiswa untuk menjadi seorang guru atau pendidik karena telah memiliki ilmu dan kepercayaan diri agar nantinya ketika lulus dari Universtas Graha Nusantara para mahasiswa menjadi alumni yang pintar, penuh percaya diri, dan bertanggung jawab. Micro teaching is a simple teaching activity and is one of the learning methods that can improve teaching skills. Besides that, students can also learn various methods of teaching English. The purpose of this research is to improve students' micro teaching learning skills through online learning using the Zoom application. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method involving as many as 28 students in the third semester. The data was obtained through online learning and interviews conducted through WhatsApp groups or private chats. Through micro teaching learning, students can improve their teaching skills through micro teaching learning, students can also use various teaching methods in micro teaching learning, either via Zoom or sending video presentations. The benefit of this research is as a first step for students to become a teacher or educator because they already have knowledge and confidence so that later when they graduate from Graha Nusantara University the students become alumni who are smart, confident, and responsible.

Selama masa pandemi COVID-19 anak sekolah dianjurkan untuk belajar di rumah. Ada banyak hal yang harus diajarkan kepada anak selama belajar di rumah, salah satunya sains. Sains sangat penting untuk diajarkan. Pengalaman sains yang menarik memungkinkan untuk pengembangan pemikiran ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya pengajaran sains sejak dini serta peran orangtua dalam pengajaran sains selama di rumah, dan juga aktivitas apa yang dapat dilakukan anak untuk mempelajari sains selama di rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dimana data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil studi pustaka. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orangtua sangat penting selama kegiatan belajar di rumah. Rumah adalah tempat yang tepat bagi Anda untuk mulai mendalami sains bersama anak. Ada banyak kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengajarkan sains kepada anak, seperti menanyakan berbagai pertanyaan berhubungan dengan sains dan melatih keterampilan tangan. Anak-anak belajar dengan melakukan, dengan mencoba ide-ide baru dan menantang ide-ide lama. Ini tidak hanya terjadi di sekolah. Orangtua dapat membantu anak Anda belajar dengan memberinya pengalaman belajar yang aman dan menarik dalam suasana yang mendukung. Kegiatan berikut dirancang untuk digunakan bersama anak di rumah dan di komunitas.   Kata kunci: Pandemi COVID-19, Pembelajaran Sains, Belajar Dari Rumah            Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, school children are encouraged to study at home. There are many things that must be taught to children while studying at home, one of which is science. Science is very important to teach. An interesting science experience allows for the development of scientific thinking. This study aims to determine the importance of teaching science from an early age and the role of parents in teaching science at home, as well as what activities children can do to learn science while at home. This research was a qualitative research where data was obtained based on the results of literature studies. The result showed that the role of parents was very important during learning activities at home. Home is the right place for you to start exploring science with children. There are many activities that could be done in teaching science to children, such as asking questions related to science and practicing hand skills. Children learn by doing, by trying new ideas and challenging old ones. This did not just happen at school. Parents could help their children learn by providing him with a safe and engaging learning experience in a supportive setting. The following activities were designed for use with children at home and in the community.

This research is motivated by one of the government programs namely Strengthening Character Education (PPK), especially in elementary schools to produce a golden generation in 2045. The characters studied include 5 main characters namely religious, nationalist, integrity, independent, and mutual cooperation. This research will be conducted at the SD Laboratorium UPI Tasikmalaya. In addition to instilling character education in daily activities, in this school, there is also a love for local wisdom. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the study, inculcation of character education based on local wisdom in the SD Laboratorium UPI Tasikmalaya was implemented through habituation and through classroom learning. The habituation is done not only in the classroom or in the school environment, but habituation also involves students' parents at home. In the learning process, the inculcation of character education based on local wisdom is applied by the teacher through learning materials, learning media, and also the evaluation of learning used. Planting character education is not enough to only be instilled in schools but there must be cooperation with parents of students at home.

Education outside the family, does not mean relinquishing the responsibility of parents in the world of education, this is done by parents due to the limited knowledge possessed by parents. But there are things that become cloudy in the process of children's learning activities carried out online. Based on the background of the problem, this researcher is expected to provide answers to the formulation of the problem described: 1) What is the role of parents in supporting the learning activities of junior high school children at home during the covid-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors for junior high school children's learning activities at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. The purpose of this study was 1) To determine the role of parents in supporting learning activities for junior high school children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. 2) to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors for junior high school children's learning activities at home during the covid-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency This study used a qualitative descriptive research method which took place in the village of Kumpulrejo. The process of collecting research data using the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing or data verification (conclusion drawing/verification). The results of this study can be concluded that the role of parents in supporting the learning activities of junior high school children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency is very important for their children. Children will be more enthusiastic about online learning which is done at home with the role of parents providing motivation and enthusiasm for children, parents as facilitators, parents supervising children in learning. The role of parents in the learning process at home has been carried out well. Although there were obstacles with the existence of civid-19 this research also went smoothly.

<p><em>The role of parents during the pandemic is needed in building of children's character at home. Character education in online learning can be doing by implementing the three slogans of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, namely, ing ngarso sung tulodo, ing madyo mangunkarso, and tut wuri handayani. Ing ngarso sung tulodo is the role of parents that can being an example for their children, ing madyo mangunkarso is the role of parents in providing enthusiasm for their children in learning at home, and tut wuri handayani is the role of parents in encouraging children in learning process. The pattern of character education by applying that three slogans is also harmonized which the teachings in Hindu religious literature. By using the literature study method, this paper uses references from various sources, namely journals, books, Hindu literary works, and the internet. By a literature study was found that Hindu literature sources have taught parents in educating children, from an early age to adulthood. Based on the Hindu literature, can be harmonized through the three slogans of Ki Hadjar Dewantara during online learning at home in bulding the character during the pandemic.</em></p>
