Data Source: The relevant variables and the other parameters were extracted from the both pdf and SPSS files of PDHS. Study Design: Bi-variant cross tabulation was used to determine the level of association between the hypothesized variables using the Pearson chi-square statistic. Results: Age and wealth index showed a highly significant relationship (p<0.0001) in determining the knowledge of tuberculosis. Moreover, the increasing level of education showed a decreasing trend of misconception about the spread of TB. Conclusions: Though the results of the study indicated a highly significant relationship between the socio-demographic factors and knowledge of tuberculosis, there is a dire need to launch awareness campaigns by the public and private sector organizations to enhance the level of correct knowledge and conception of large masses.

The aim of this article is to show that an evaluation of cultural aspects does not always mean an operation with "soft", non-quantifiable data. It is possible to refer to cultural variety of regions also with the help of numeric indicators, so-called "hard" data. As an example, differences between the Czech borderland and inland are studied in this article. The used characteristics are the percentage of native persons and number of municipality parts per municipality. Dissimilarity ratio of these indicators in space is evaluated by statistical analysis methods: independent-samples T test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square tests. Component analysis outputs help to complete the findings. Statistically significant differences between the identity of the Czech borderland and inland were proved. The impact of the former Czech-German linguistic boundary on the degree of regional identity of the inhabitants is still sensible.

The purpose of the present paper is to examine how the school leaders frame their own experiences of managing change within the school system. The mixed method design was used to answer the research questions and understand the research problems. Both the qualitative and the quantitative data were used to identify the frames orienting school leaders to manage change within the school setting. The obtained data showed that the participants employed most of the frames (structural, political, human resource, and symbolic) in managing school change. The data revealed that the human resource frame appeared universal in most of the cases. Understanding principals’ perceptions of change management can help practitioners as well as academics to work more efficiently and address the needs of the school leaders.
