This study discusses the competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in the use of technology and information in learning with competency indicators being the ICT training curriculum for madrasa teachers compiled by the Jakarta Education and Religious Technical Training Center. This study aims to determine the competence and problems of Islamic boarding school teachers in the use of information and communication technology in online learning during this covid 19 period. This study uses a case study with all teachers as respondents at MIN 4 Langkat. The research method used in this research is a survey method using a questionnaire that is shared via a google form. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis that describes the qualifications of teacher competence in the use of ICT into four levels, namely very low, low, medium, and high. From the results of the data that has been analyzed, it was found that the competence of teachers in ICT is very low in the ability to use and utilize applications, which is 52%. Furthermore, a very low indicator is found in the experience aspect of participating in training at 57%. This shows that training activities are the most dominant factor causing the low competence of teachers in the use of ICT in learning and therefore the most effective solution to overcome them.

The present study was exploratory and diagnostic in nature to examine the level of psychological dependence on social media networking sites usage of college youth in Chennai city of Tamil Nadu. This research was adopted survey method and structured questionnaire was collected from200 college students residing in Chennai city to gather the information and perception on psychological dependence on social media networking sites addiction. The data collected were subjected to data analysis using PSPP software and statistical tools such as, percentage analysis, descriptive analysis and exploratory factor analysis to understand the level of social media addiction of college students. psychological dependence on social media networking sites variables have been reduced to Five independent factors and the most dominant factor is Communication Factor (CF) followed by, Curiosity Factor (CUF), Attention Factor (AF), Time Factor (TM) and Upgradation Factor (UF) in their order of dominance.College youth are opined thatthey are more excited and curious to use a greater number of social media networking sites due to growth of internet and mobile penetration.To conclude, college youth can use social media networking sites with some limit timer through self-control and they should spend their quality time in the real world rather than the virtual world.

Berdasarkan uraian diatas <br />sistem informasi sangat diperlukan survey melalui kuisioner terkait sejauh mana keterampilan guru<br />di bidang TIK. The study aims to know the level of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) usage, the level of Extension Workers’ performance, the relation between the use of ICT and the performance of Extension Workers, and factors related to the use of ICT in Agricultural Extension Centers, Fisheries and Forestry (BP3K) Jati Agung, South Lampung District. This study was conducted at BP3K Jati Agung Regency, South Lampung District in 2017  with 17 respondents of Extension Workers. The research method used is a survey method. Methods of analysis used were descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation. The results showed that Extension Workers have a high rate of ICT utilization and a high performance level.  The use of ICT has a significant relationship with the performance of Extension Workers and factors related to the use of ICT are age, education, income, and cosmopolitan characteristics. Key words: extension workers, ICT, performance

The seriousness of the school/madrasah in updating instructional media hampered by the incompetence of some teachers use ICT-based learning media as one way of presenting the material. Mastery and knowledge of information technology will facilitate the teacher in finding the source of learning, so that students will not get bored attend classes. ICT training has been able to change mindside teacher of the conventional learning becomes more interactive learning. Teachers are becoming more aware that the presence of technology is inevitable in the learning process. Rapid technological developments should be exploited so that teachers who emerges is a positive impact, and not vice versa. The use of technology can help the learning process becomes more effective and efficient, and fun.

Abstract Purpose ‒The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between teachers’ performance appraisal methods and teachers’ job performance and its implications to teaching and learning explicitly in the context of Islamic Boarding Schools in Gontor, East Java Indonesia, a district that has more than 10 school branches in Indonesia. Designed/methodology/approach ‒A survey method was employed to collect the data from 110 teachers who had two to five years of teaching experiences. In data analysis, the researchers had applied a two-step approach to test the measured variables representing three latent constructs namely classroom observation, lesson planning, self-appraisal, and teachers’ job performance as the criterion variable.   Findings and Results ‒ The findings from descriptive analysis indicated that teachers perceived self-appraisal and classroom observation more frequently than lesson plan. Teachers viewed lesson plan as an adequate method used in teachers’ appraisal. Moreover, correlation analysis revealed that two of TPA methods namely classroom observation and self-appraisal, were positively correlated with teachers’ job performance, while lesson planning was found to have no correlation with job performance. The regression results concluded that the best predictor of teachers’ job performance was lesson planning. Research limitations/implications ‒This research only focuses on Islamic boarding school in Gontor East Java Indonesia.  Originality/value: The implementation of teachers’ appraisal in Islamic Boarding School is unique to educational institutions in Muslim country such as in Indonesia. Thus, the findings could be generalized to other school branches of Gontor and schools which have similar characteristic and curriculum to those of Gontor. AbstrakDegradasi yang terjadi pada Sungai Cikapundung telah teridentifikasi mengakibatkan menurunnya kualitas dan kuantitas Sungai, oleh sebab itu pemerintah Kota Bandung, telah mencanangkan dan melaksanakan Program Gerakan Cikapundung Bersih (GCB) untuk merevitalisasi Sungai Cikapundung melalui Partisipasi masyarakat, lokasi penelitian ini adalah wilayah bantaran Sungai Cikapundung di kelurahan Tamansari kota Bandung untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dan mengkaji faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengendalian limbah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode survey dengan penekatan deskriptif analisis, sampel penelitian ditetapkan sebanyak 80 KK melalui tehnik penarikan acak sederhana (Simple Ramdom Sampling) dengan instrumen kuesioner. Tehnik analisis untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian adalah analisis Regresi Berganda. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Tingkat Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Penghasilan, Lama tinggal dan Peran Pemerintah terhadap Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengendalian limbah yaitu sebesar 34,791% dalam bentuk persaman regresi ganda sebagai berikut: Y = 11,173+2,559 X1+1,610 X2+0,723 X3+0,587 X4+0,272 X5. Pengujian secara parsial menunjukan bahwa Tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh sebesar 42,3 %, Pekerjaan 6,5 %, Penghasilan 2,3 %, Lama Tinggal 3,2 %, dan Peran Pemerintah 15,8 % terhadap Partisipasi dalam Pelaksanaan Pengendalian limbah. Maka faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengendalian limbah di Kelurahan Tamansari Kota Bandung adalah Tingkat Pendidikan, Sehingga nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,838 artinya terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara faktor internal dan eksternal terhadap partisipasi. Maka koefisien determinasi diperoleh 70,2%, dan 29,8% merupakan kontribusi variabel lain.Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Pendapatan, Lama tinggal, Peran Pemerintah, Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengendalian limbah.AbstractThe Degradation occurs in Cikapundung river has been identified in decreased quality and quantity of the river, Therefore, the City of Bandung has launched and implement programs Cikapundung Net Movement ( GCB ) to revitalize the River Cikapundung through of program, the location of this is Cikapundung river in the village of Taman Sari Bandung to determine the level of community participation and assess the dominant factor affecting participation community in waste manageme. The method used in this study with a survey method descriptive analysis ( Ramdom Simple Sampling ) with a question instrument . Teknik analysis and answer the research hypothesi is multiple regress to analysis . The test results showed that simulation a significant difference between the level of education , job , income , length of stay and the Role of Government on Community participation in waste management and amount of 34.791 % in the form of multiple regression equal as follows. Y=11,173+2,559X1+1,610X2+0,723X3+0,587X4+0,272X5. The Partial examination shows that variable Educational Attainment of 42.3 % , Employment 6,5% , Income 2.3 %, long stay 3.2 %, and 15.8 % of the Government's role in the implementation of the Participation Control of waste. Tamansari village of waste in the city of Bandung is a very strong level of education between the internal and external factors Participation. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is one of the main supporters of educational services through the development of e-books. The purpose of this activity is to increase teacher competence in utilizing ICT to prepare the 21st century education system in facing the industrial revolution 4.0. This activity uses the community development method through training, mentoring and development in the preparation of e-book learning media. Instrument achievement of implementation indicators using pretest and posttest questionnaires for knowledge and skills of e-book development for teachers at Analysis of the results of achievement using descriptive analysis of the average value and percentage. The average pretest results of participants' abilities in developing e-books are still less visible from the results of less than 11%, very less by 77%, enough by 6%, good 4% and very good by 2% . The average posttest results of participants' ability in developing e-books increased, namely very less and less by 0%, enough by 26%, good by 60% and very good by 14%. The community development method is able to increase the knowledge and skills of teachers in developing e-book learning media

School-Based Assessment is one of the transformations in the education system. Changes in the field of education also involve various assessment methods, including the use of technology. This article will discuss the implementation of technology-based assessments in schools. The Ministry of Education Malaysia recommends using technology in education to ensure that its education moves in line with modernization. 21st Century Education (PAK-21) has been introduced to ensure the education system's quality can be improved. To serve this study's purpose, a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires was used in this study. The study population consisted of form one students in Mukim 12, Seberang Perai Utara, Penang. The study sample was 210 Form One students who were selected through simple random sampling. Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS, which involved descriptive analysis (number and percentage). According to the findings, teachers use less technology during the learning and facilitation processes. Findings show that teacher assessment methods are still conventional, contrary to the respondents' preference to use technology more often in the classroom. Teachers' unpreparedness towards using and applying technology in the classroom has resulted in the practice of PAK-21 not being successfully implemented.

This study aims to improve teacher competence in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. The research method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were 10 teachers at Mandau 011 Junior High School. The timing of the research is carried out in two cycles starting on Monday 11 February to Saturday 23 February 2019. Analysis of the data used is qualitative in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. While for quantitative data descriptive analysis is carried out by calculating the average value and percentage. The results of the study indicate an increase in the competency of 011 Mandau Junior High School teachers in planning authentic assessments with group guidance. there is a cycle I of the average teacher competence of 70,6 with sufficient categories. The average teacher competency in the second cycle is 76,3 which is included in the good category. Classically, as many as 90% of teachers have been able to plan authentic assessments properly.
