The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of students’ science learning in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) at one elementary school in Taiwan. This study investigated student perceptions of both the content and language achievement of science learning in CLIL. Data collection techniques included graphic organizers, individual interviews, students’ self-assessment, and students’ tests. Findings showed that CLIL helped enrich student vocabulary size, foster student science knowledge, and lead them to expect to learn other subjects in English. They also enjoyed the CLIL approach, but expressed limited knowledge about the school flower.

This study aims to produce science learning tools that are valid, practical, and effective which consists of syllabus, lesson plan, teaching material, student activity sheets, and test sheets to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary students. This research was carried out using the 4-D model of adaptation Ibrahim, M., which is define, design, developing, disseminate and tested in class V of Jiken Elementary School, Kedondong I Elementary School, Sudimoro Elementary School, school year 2019/2020 with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results shows: 1) valid, according to the validity of the three validators with valid categories, 2) practical, in accordance with the level of observers seen from the activity of students increasing at each meeting and implementation of RPP, 3) effective, seen from appearing significantly different from the pretest and posttest test students' critical thinking and positive student responses. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of science learning tools oriented in guided inquiry is valid, practical, and effective for improving critical thinking skills of elementary students.

Local culture is the identity of an area where in this era its features are increasingly eroded by foreign cultures. It happened because of the ease with which foreign cultures enter and blend in with local cultures which can directly affect the cultural structure of the nation. Likewise with folklore as if forgotten. Folklore is one of the national cultural heritages which is a national honor with a diverse culture that must be introduced to students since elementary school. This study aimed to identify the children's stories based on local culture and implement literacy culture at SD Kartika XX-I Makassar. The approach used in this research was descriptive qualitative with survey method while the data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the data obtained, the researchers identified twelve children's story titles which were then carried out by literacy to elementary students of Kartika XX-I Makassar. The application of literacy culture in SD Kartika XX-1 Makassar by 1) distributing story books to students 2) reading about 15-20 minutes, 3) students identifying moral values ​​contained in the story, 4) strengthening the moral values ​​of the story children and the application of local culture in accordance with national values.

Resumo Os objetivos da pesquisa foram identificar situações de indisciplina em uma turma do 5º ano do ensino fundamental e analisar percepções e reflexões dos estudantes sobre a temática a partir de ações didático-pedagógicas. A investigação caracterizou-se pela pesquisa-ação e os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram: diários de aula e rodas de conversa. Foram identificadas situações de bagunça, conversas paralelas, agressões verbais e xingamentos. Notou-se certa resistência por parte de alguns estudantes para perceber como problematizar a indisciplina nas aulas. Alunos e professor, conjuntamente, construíram regras de convivência e diversos jogos de cooperação que buscaram despertar respeito pelo outro, compromisso e responsabilidade. A promoção de uma proposta de enfrentamento da indisciplina não deve vir acompanhada da ilusão de que os conteúdos em si vão resolver os problemas. É importante que o professor tenha claro que os resultados demandam tempo, exigindo paciência e comprometimento.Palavras-chave: Educação Física Escolar. Indisciplina. Jogos de Cooperação. Student perceptions and reflections on indiscipline in physical education classes Abstract The objectives of the research were to identify situations of indiscipline in a class of the 5th year of elementary school and to analyze students' perceptions and reflections on the theme from didactic-pedagogical actions. The investigation was characterized by action research and the data collection instruments were: class diaries and conversation circles. Messy situations, side conversations, verbal aggressions and name-calling were identified. Some resistance was noted by some students to understand how to problematize indiscipline in class. Students and teacher, together, built rules of coexistence and several games of cooperation that sought to awaken respect for others, commitment and responsibility. The promotion of a proposal to confront indiscipline must not be accompanied by the illusion that the content itself will solve the problems. Algunos estudiantes notaron cierta resistencia a entender cómo problematizar la indisciplina en clase. Alumnos y docente, juntos, construyeron reglas de convivencia y varios juegos de cooperación que buscaban despertar el respeto por los demás, el compromiso y la responsabilidad. La promoción de una propuesta para enfrentar la indisciplina no debe ir acompañada de la ilusión de que el propio contenido resolverá los problemas. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of discovery learning models in thematic science learning in State Elementary School 01 Pakan Rabaa, Solok Selatan Regency. The background of this research is the importance of teachers knowing the steps in applying discovery learning models in thematic science learning in order to create science learning that is not only oriented towards results or products but also processes. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data on teacher opinions were collected through interviews. Data in the form of interviews, observations and documentation were analyzed descriptively. Data analysis is performed through data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study were the teachers of State Elementary School 01 Pakan Rabaa, Solok Selatan Regency. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that thematic science learning with discovery learning models can involve students to develop knowledge and skills in solving problems, so that by applying discovery learning models can make students who are initially passive become more active and creative.Keywords: Discovery learning model, thematic science, elementary school

<em>The research is based on an analysis of the problems of elementary school children and efforts to develop planning and counseling programs. This type of quantitative research with survey sampling techniques. The research location was in the elementary school in Klirong sub-district, Kebumen. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The results showed that there were several types of problems of elementary school children so that there was a need for planning counseling and programs to help elementary students optimal development.</em>

Thematic learning in elementary school has obstacles in its implementation, one of which is related to the media. The results of the observation show that students need pictorial media. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of pictorial modules to support learning. The researchers used research development or Research and Development (R&D), according to Borg and Gall. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Based on the results of material expert validation, it was 89%, linguist validation was 88%, and media expert validation was 84%. The results of the student readability questionnaire were 88%, and the teacher's readability questionnaire was 92%. The conclusion is the thematic module of the development of transportation technology for elementary students was developed suitable for use in learning.

The lack of learning media is one indicator of science learning less favored by elementary school students. The use of instructional media can overcome students' difficulties in understanding contextually material. The purpose of this research is to produce integrated learning media Computer Assisted Instructional learning material "rain" material in improving critical thinking skills of third grade elementary school students. This research method uses research & development with the Borg & Gall development model and field trials using one-group pretest-posttest design at SDIT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Sukabumi. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection instruments included interview guidelines, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and test questions. The results of this study are in the form of learning products for Computer Assisted Instructional integrated science elementary school with "rain" material. The results of the product validation show that the integrated Computer Assisted Instructional learning media is appropriate for use in elementary science learning with an average rating from the "Very Good" category validator. Field trial results show that the integrated Computer Assisted Instructional elementary school learning media with "rain" material is effectively used in the elementary science learning process to improve students' critical thinking skills with a gain of 0.81. So that the results of this study can be used in the learning process of science in students of SDIT Al-Khoiriyah Al-Husna Sukabumi and developed in other SD / MI.

Many elementary school students today bring its own problems with the dissolution of cooperative and opinion appreciation character. Especially at this era of implementation character based 2013 curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to find a solution to overcome it. After going through a series of studies, then selected solution in the form of development strategy of coorperative and opinion appreciation character for elementary school students. This research has done in the research development approach. So it will produce the product of learning video as reference material for teacher. In this research the researcher appoints students of elementary school program as model teacher. The results showed that the implementation of social science learning application of coperative script strategy, all strategy steps have been done and have an impact on the development of the character of cooperation and opinion apprecdiation of the students especialy in social science learning. Thus it can be concluded that the development of social science through cooperative script strategy effective and efficient to reestablish the character of cooperation and opinion appreciation on self elementary students.

Vocabulary instruction in elementary students differs from other level of education. It aims to empower them understand English vocabulary related to their surroundings.This study focuses on the implication of vocabulary instruction in elementary students through pictures. The use of pictures initiate and activate students curiosity on topic. This study focuses on the use of pictures in learning vocabulary to elementary students. The data collection technique was in the form of observation and field note in one of state Elementary School (SDN) in Surabaya. The study found that picture game is useful to empower students in learning English vocabulary. In addition, students are able not only to write the words correctly, but also to construct simple sentence. This study provides suggestionto integrate picturesin learning vocabulary.Keywords: Vocabulary, Instruction, Elementary Students

<p><em>The purposes this research was to determine that the aplication of the discovery learning model can improve the science learning achievement of grade VI elementary school students. </em><em>The research conducted was Classroom Action Research (CAR) for three cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meetin</em><em>g. </em><em>The stages of each cycle are planning, observation, observation and reflection</em><em>. </em><em>In the first cycle, the students who completed the test reached 60%</em><em>, in second cycle 80%</em><em>, </em><em>and the third cycle 87%. </em><em>These results indicate that the discovery learning model can improve the learning achievement of students in </em><em>grade</em><em> VI science subject</em><em> </em><em>matter at SDN Tepakyang.</em><em></em></p>
