Thematic learning in elementary school has obstacles in its implementation, one of which is related to the media. The results of the observation show that students need pictorial media. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of pictorial modules to support learning. The researchers used research development or Research and Development (R&D), according to Borg and Gall. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Based on the results of material expert validation, it was 89%, linguist validation was 88%, and media expert validation was 84%. The results of the student readability questionnaire were 88%, and the teacher's readability questionnaire was 92%. The conclusion is the thematic module of the development of transportation technology for elementary students was developed suitable for use in learning.

Factual conditions require the development of teaching materials in thematic learning using a scientific approach to improve the available teaching materials. This study aims to: 1) examine the factual conditions for the use of teaching materials in thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum; 2) knowing the development of scientific based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 3) knowing expert judgment on the feasibility of scientific-based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 4) knowing the effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students; 5) knowing the teacher's assessment of learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for grade IV elementary school students; 6) knowing the response of students to learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses Development Research with qualitative and quantitative research designs. The development process uses the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel which has been modified to be the stage of defining, designing, and developing. Teaching materials that have been validated by experts get the category of "very valid and without revision" from expert responses and teacher evaluations with agreed criteria, student responses to the use of teaching materials in learning get very good responses from students. The results of the trials using the experimental design The Before And After Design show that there is an effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of PPKn; 2) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on social studies learning achievements; 3) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of science. Scientific based thematic teaching materials for Grade IV Primary School students can be used in learning.

This study aims to: (1) produce Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students, (2) know the feasibility of Pop Up Book learning media on Cultural Diversity materials in North Sumatra grade IV elementary students from the validation of eligibility by material experts and media experts. This research is a type of research and development with reference to the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan (1974). Furthermore, the model is adapted into 3 stages, namely: (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Development (Develop). The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative. The media developed is validated by one material expert and one media expert. Validation by media experts is carried out 2 stages and produces a product in the form of Pop Up Book media that is eligible for grade IV elementary students.  . Validation by media experts is carried out 2 stages and produces a product in the form of Pop Up Book media that is eligible for grade IV elementary students. Thus the learning media developed is considered worthy of use in learning.

This study aimed to develop and provide an enjoyable, meaningful, and cultural – based English textbook for elementary school students on the coast of Kurau village, Bangka Belitung Province. The observation and interview were undertaken to acknowledge the needs of the students in improving and advancing their understanding of English as well as to afford them an expedient textbook to be explored. Lee and Owens (2004) model has been used for this research and development study in designing the book. Total physical response method was also implemented in some exercises within the book to engage students’ attention and comprehension towards English learning. The data gathered in this study were collected through questionnaires, pre-test, and post-test. Based on the data analysis, the research finding shows that the cultural-based English textbook for elementary students is feasible. Feasibility obtained from the book was very good. Percentage of assessment by the content expert reached 82 % and the media expert was 87%. The calculation of T-paired test showed that there was a difference in learning achievement between the pre-test and the post-test score, which was 70.00 to 78.00 or increased 15%. Thus, there is an increasing score and this cultural – based textbook is effective to be used by the elementary students.

The objective of this research is to find out the effectiveness of using English songs in teaching pronunciation to elementary students with descriptive method. Descriptive method was taken from the description of the situation of the object based on the fact in the field.  Meanwhile, the research design which was conducted in this research was classroom action research design by Miles and Hubermann (2010). Based on the research result and discussion, the use of English songs as the media in teaching pronunciation to the students in SD Bintang Pertiwi, the students’ ability in pronouncing English words has improved significantly. Songs were used as media because the lyrics of the song were easy to memorize. Therefore, it is possible for the students to comprehend the words they have listened and pronounced. English songs are effective to use as media in teaching pronunciation to elementary students. There is a significant improvement of students’ ability in pronouncing English words.

Many elementary school students today bring its own problems with the dissolution of cooperative and opinion appreciation character. Especially at this era of implementation character based 2013 curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to find a solution to overcome it. After going through a series of studies, then selected solution in the form of development strategy of coorperative and opinion appreciation character for elementary school students. This research has done in the research development approach. So it will produce the product of learning video as reference material for teacher. In this research the researcher appoints students of elementary school program as model teacher. The results showed that the implementation of social science learning application of coperative script strategy, all strategy steps have been done and have an impact on the development of the character of cooperation and opinion apprecdiation of the students especialy in social science learning. Thus it can be concluded that the development of social science through cooperative script strategy effective and efficient to reestablish the character of cooperation and opinion appreciation on self elementary students.

<em>Education in the era of disruption must maintain the value of the nation's character. Ecotourism Pancoh has the potential as an educational space for environmental character. The packaging in comics is useful for civilizing literacy. This study aimed to describe the way of developing and knowing the quality and feasibility of ecotourism-oriented thematic strip comics. This study was research and development by adapting the model of Borg &amp; Gall. The data were collected by observation, unstructured interviews, and questionnaires. The comic trials were conducted for fifth grade students of Bhayangkara Elementary School, Yogyakarta. The data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The assessment score of the media expert validation was 92,11 (very good), material expert was 95,33 (very good), teacher was 95,50 (very good), and student responses were 100 (very good). Thus the Pancoh ecotourism-oriented thematic strip comic was very feasible as a learning resource for elementary school students.</em>

Schools can take a strategic role in the implementation of anti-corruption education, especially in a culture of anti-corruption behavior among students. This study has the objective to know the anti-corruption education for elementary school students in the Kecamatan Gunungpati. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, descriptive analytical. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documents. Analysis of data using qualitative research phases according to Spradley. While in checking the validity of the data using a data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of anti-corruption education for elementary school students in the Kecamatan Gunungpati divided into two strategies that are inclusive (inserted in various subjects) and exclusive (extracurricular student). Implementation of anti-corruption education for elementary students in the Kecamatan Gunungpati have not been maximized due to various constraints, such that not all teachers follow the dissemination of anti-corruption education so have limited knowledge about planting and how effective anti-corruption education and efficient for elementary students and the lack of facilities and infrastructure supporters of anti-corruption education for students in elementary school. The impact of the implementation of anti-corruption education for elementary school students is increasing student achievement both in the classroom and outside the classroom, because students are accustomed to being kind, including honest, disciplined, caring, brave, responsible, and so forth. The conclusion is that the implementation of anti-corruption education should be internalized to the students at an early age in order to get used to conduct anti-corruption measures. The lack of use of learning media used for delivering material makes it difficult for students to understand the material. This study aims to develop media for fun thinkers based on HOTS questions for fourth grade elementary school students on theme 1, the beauty of togetherness. The development is carried out based on the ADDIE model procedure. The subjects in this development research are media fun thinkers based on HOTS questions for elementary school students grade IV theme 1 the beauty of togetherness while the object in this study is the validity of the media fun thinkers developed. This development research method is a qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis method. The data collection used is a questionnaire method with data collection instruments in the form of a rating scale by giving assessment instruments to 2 subject matter experts, 2 media experts, 2 practitioner responses, and 10 students as responses. The data obtained was calculated using the mean formula to determine the average media validity score. The average validity score of media fun thinkers based on HOTS questions in terms of material/assessment experts is 4.79 with very valid criteria, in terms of media experts it is 4.43 with very valid criteria, in terms of practitioner responses it is 4.63 with very valid criteria, and in terms of response students of 4.95 with very valid criteria. Based on the analysis conducted, the media for fun thinkers based on HOTS questions for elementary school students in grade IV, theme 1, the beauty of togetherness developed is valid and suitable for use in the learning process.

This study aims to: (1) develop thematic textbooks based on local wisdom of our best friend's environmental theme material for grade V elementary school students, (2) Know the validity, practicality and effectiveness of thematic textbooks based on local wisdom of our best friend's environmental theme material for grade students V elementary school. The development of thematic textbook learning media based on local wisdom uses the Research and Development (R & D) method. The development stages include: (1) Potentials and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Product testing, (7) Product revision (Sugiyono, 2016). The research was conducted with 33 students from class V SDN 2 Sendang Jepara Regency. Initial product development is a process of making media based on needs analysis. Expert testing or validation was carried out by 2 experts, namely media experts and material experts. The data collection method in this research is observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and comparison test of two independent groups, namely using the independent t-test. Based on the results of the trial, this thematic teaching material is very valid, very interesting, effective and can be applied in learning. This can be seen from the results of the validation test from three experts which show that the product is good. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the experimental class students had better learning outcomes than the control class. This means that textbooks based on local wisdom of Jepara Regency are developed effectively

This study aims to determine and described the learning creativity of elementary school students using the number head together learning model. This research method is a literature review research method. The stages of this literature review are data collection, data reduction, data display, discussion, and conclusions. The results showed that from 17 articles published from 2010-2020 about the number head together learning model and learning creativity of elementary school students, there were 2 articles that matched these variables. The number head together learning model can increase the learning creativity of elementary school students. The novelty of this research is the connection between one article and another that discusses the same topic. The impact of the results of this study is the increasing number of literature review studies to reinforce existing theories.
