Teaching basic first aid activities is one of the most important area of children`s health education. The aim of the study was to analyse the educational effects of the pilot implementation of the author's curriculum in the provision of premedical first aid for preschool children. The knowledge and skills of pre-schoolers in the provision of first aid were analysed. The research was carried out in a private kindergarten in Warsaw. As a result, the knowledge and skills of preschool children about the principles of providing first aid was insufficient. After conducting the educational program, the level of knowledge and skills of children in this area increased significantly. Educational programs introduced as early as possible, already at the stage of preschool education, can contribute to greater awareness of health-related attitudes, may affect the skills of recognizing, responding to and providing basic rescue operations, and may influence the attention to the important role of health education.

Purpose: To comparatively analyze the oral health-related knowledge of mothers of children aged up to 3 years before and after the "Dental Home for Children" educational program (www.dentalendom.bg) Material/methods: The study involved a group of 90 mothers of children aged up to 3 years who visited the special educational and motivational website www.dentalendom.bg and completed our survey. We compared and processed the results of the survey using 90 control questionnaires, which were completed by parents who had visited the dental office without having attended an oral health education and motivation session in advance. Results: The results obtained from the survey completed by mothers of children aged up to 3 years show that their knowledge of the importance of fluoride prevention, the risks of nighttime bottle feeding with baby formula for a long time, mistakes in feeding, and the early transmission of cariogenic bacteria increased substantially compared to the mothers who did not visit the educational website. Conclusion: The obtained positive results give us reason to believe that e-learning health education programs are useful for both mothers and children aged up to 3 years.

A kindergarten gives extensive opportunities for cooperation with parents. The article is limited to present two aspects of cooperation. One area concerns health education, which can and should combine and integrate the activities of kindergarten teachers and parents, concerning children’s knowledge acquisition and formation of health-oriented behaviour. The second area concerns preparing preschool children for the future role of a tourist. Advantages of tourism for a child’s development were presented, including trips as an organizational form of kindergarten work. In addition to evidence confirming the numerous cognitive, health, cultural, and aesthetic values of trips, the importance of cooperation between a kindergarten and parents in this regard was highlighted. The article also contains many proposals for methodological solutions for the discussed issues.

The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pre-post test design. The study was conducted at Al Islam Bandung Hospital in 2018. Respondents consisted of 16 stroke patients and 16 stroke family families. The instrument uses a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that before and after the intervention there were significant mean differences in the level of knowledge of patients from 7.94 to 10.38 (p = 0.002), but in the variable readiness of stroke patients there was no significant difference in average seen from the mean value of 14.25 became 15.88 (p = 0.411). In the patient's family, it was shown that before and after the intervention there was a significant of mean difference in the level of knowledge from 5.19 to 6.81 (p = 0.012). Conclusion: health education has been shown to be influential in increasing the level of knowledge of patients and their families regarding stroke, readiness, the role of family carers for stroke patients, psychological support, and preparation for the care of stroke patients at home. However, health education does not affect the level of readiness of stroke patients for transition. Suggestion: readiness to accept the transition in stroke patients is not enough only by health education alone but family participation is needed in providing support to these patients therefore it is recommended that nurses always support the family to support stroke patients.

We consider a special area of didactics – teaching preschool children by means of choreographic art. We scientifically substantiate methodic support that effectively affects the development of preschool children by means of choreography, identifying, among other ways, the development of physiological and psychological qualities of this age category. We also define the principles and methods of teaching and upbringing by means of choreography in preschool education institutions. Interest in the study is also caused by the developed educational program “Basis of choreography” for preschool children, which provides for the construction of the teaching and education process in a spiral with improvement at each stage to a qualitatively new level of mastering the basics of rhythmics, the ABC of classical, folk, modern and ballroom dancing.
