Esta investigación se desarrolló en la ciudad de Itagüí, es un Municipio ubicado en el sur del departamento de Antioquia-Colombia, el estudio que se realizó fue transversal, y pretendía conocer la percepción del usuario frente a los servicios prestados por el ente deportivo de esta ciudad. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios del programa “Ocio, tiempo libre y recreación” de la Secretaría de Deportes y Recreación de Itagüí por medio del instrumento EPOD de Nuviala (2008). Está herramienta está conformada por cuatro dimensiones, las cuales se adaptaron al medio, la escala fue validada en su contenido por medio del Alpha de Cronbach con un valor de 0,826. Los ítems mejor valorados fueron los técnicos o instructores y actividades. Dentro de los grandes hallazgos se demostró que hay más participación del sexo femenino que masculino en los programas que oferta el ente Municipal. This research was developed in the city of Itagüí, it is a Municipality located in the south of the department of Antioquia-Colombia, the study that was carried out was cross-sectional, and it sought to know the user's perception of the services provided by the sports entity of this city. The objective of this work was to determine the level of satisfaction of the users of the program "Leisure, free time and recreation" of the Secretariat of Sports and Recreation of Itagüí by means of the EPOD instrument of Nuviala (2008). This tool is made up of four dimensions, which were adapted to the environment, the scale was validated in its content by means of Cronbach's Alpha with a value of 0.826. The best valued items were the technicians or instructors and activities. Among the great findings, it was shown that there is more participation of women than men in the programs offered by the Municipal entity.

Background/Aims The presence of fathers during labour and birth can have favourable outcomes for the health of the mother, father and infant. However, there are few studies on fathers' experiences while being present during labour and birth, which necessitates the development of a valid questionnaire for this purpose. The aim of this study was to translate and culturally adapt the first time fathers questionnaire into Persian. Methods A total of 220 first-time fathers at private midwifery counseling centers were given a translated questionnaire to complete. Forward-backward translation of the questionnaire was conducted and content, face and construct validity were examined. After extracting factors and item distribution, confirmatory factor analysis was performed. Cronbach's alpha was used for reliability. Results A valid 19-item questionnaire with four dimensions, ‘worry’, ‘acceptance and support during labor’, ‘support during and after birth’, and ‘preparedness’ was obtained. The Cronbach's alpha was 0.78. Conclusions The Persian questionnaire is valid and reliable for examining the experiences of first-time fathers. It can be employed to evaluate fathers' experiences during labour and birth in midwifery services planning to promote quality of care during childbirth.

Background Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a widely accepted scientific advancement in clinical settings that helps achieve better, safer, and more cost-effective healthcare. However, presently, validated instruments to evaluate healthcare professionals’ attitude and practices toward implementing EBM are not widely available. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine the validity and reliability of a newly developed knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) questionnaire on EBM for use among healthcare professionals. Methods The Noor Evidence-Based Medicine Questionnaire was tested among physicians in a government hospital between July and August 2018. Exploratory factor analysis and internal consistency reliability-based Cronbach’s alpha statistic were conducted. Results The questionnaire was distributed among 94 physicians, and 90 responded (response rate of 95.7%). The initial number of items in the KAP domains of the Noor Evidence-Based Medicine Questionnaire were 15, 17, and 13, respectively; however, two items in the practice domain with communalities <0.25 and factor loadings <0.4 were removed. The factor structure accounted for 52.33%, 66.29%, and 55.39% of data variance in the KAP domains, respectively. Cronbach’s alpha values were 0.81, 0.81, and 0.84 for KAP domains, respectively, indicating high reliability. Conclusions This questionnaire can be used to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour of healthcare professionals toward EBM. Future testing of this questionnaire among other medical personnel groups will help expand the scope of this tool.

Introduction: The problem that is often experienced by young women is anemia. This anemia condition causes them to feel lethargic, dizzy, and a pale face. This situation causes them to be less eager to carry out activities and interfere with their learning concentration. Objective: This study aimed to determine the reliability test results of the questionnaire on the level of knowledge about anemia in adolescents. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study method. This research was conducted on February 28, 2021. The study population was all adolescents in the Islamic Boarding School of Tahfizh Putri Alfirdaus Hidayatullah, Sekardangan, Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The sample size of the study was 24 adolescents. This study used a modified questionnaire for adolescent knowledge about anemia (Zulaekah, 2007). The questionnaire used in this study only used 8 items from the original questionnaire. The data analysis carried out was Mean, Standard Deviation, and Cronbach's Alpha. Results: Based on the results of the reliability test on the adolescent knowledge level questionnaire, it was found that Cronbach's Alpha was .594. This illustrates that the questionnaire is good enough to be used as an instrument in research. Conclusion: A modified questionnaire about the level of adolescent knowledge about anemia can be used in a study.

El estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la gestión del conocimiento en la productividad de la empresa CONSTRUCTORA PBG E.I.R.L. San Martín de Porres, 2020. El tipo de investigación fue de tipo básica, diseño correlacional, transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 70 colaboradores, con una población censal de 70 trabajadores, con instrumentos validados por expertos y una alta fiabilidad. La escala de percepción de la gestión del conocimiento, para el presente estudio presentó confiabilidad con Alfa de Cronbach de 0.788 indicando una fuerte consistencia interna, y la Escala de productividad, para la investigación presentó validez de confiabilidad con Alfa de Cronbach de 0.891 indicando una fuerte consistencia interna. Los resultados  descriptivos de la  variable gestión del conocimiento  según los trabajadores el 35.7% lo considera deficiente, el 42.9% los considera regular y el 21.4% es considerado como eficiente; en la dimensión Creación del conocimiento, el 28.6% lo considera deficiente, el 50.0% los considera regular y el 21.4% es considerado como eficiente; en la dimensión Transferencia del conocimiento el 25.7% lo considera deficiente, el 45.7% los considera regular y el 28.6% es considerado como eficiente; en la dimensión Aplicación del conocimiento el 28.6% lo considera deficiente, el 42.9% los considera regular y el 28.6% es considerado como eficiente. Los resultados nos indicaron la gestión del conocimiento se relaciona con la productividad se relacionan moderadamente con un (Rho 0,622 y p-valor 0,000)   The research study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge management on the productivity of the company CONSTRUCTORA PBG E.I.R.L. San Martín de Porres, 2020. The type of research was basic, correlational, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 70 collaborators, with a census population of 70 workers, with instruments validated by experts and high reliability. The knowledge management perception scale for the present study presented reliability with Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.788 indicating strong internal consistency, and the Productivity Scale, for the investigation, presented reliability validity with Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.891 indicating strong internal consistency. The descriptive results of the knowledge management variable according to the workers, 35.7% consider it deficient, 42.9% consider it regular and 21.4% consider it efficient; in the Knowledge creation dimension, 28.6% consider it deficient, 50.0% consider it regular and 21.4% consider it efficient; In the knowledge transfer dimension, 25.7% consider it deficient, 45.7% consider it regular and 28.6% consider it efficient; In the Knowledge Application dimension, 28.6% consider it deficient, 42.9% consider it regular and 28.6% consider it efficient. The results indicated that knowledge management is related to productivity and is moderately related to a (Rho 0.622 and p-value 0.000)

Objective: To translate and validate Clinically Useful Depression Outcome Scale on Urdu speaking Pakistani population. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Rawalpindi and Islamabad from January 2018 to November 2019 on a conveniently available sample. The process of translation and validation was conducted in two phases. In the first phase the scale was forward and backward translated. In the second phase it was validated on a convenient sample of 170 subjects. 85 of these were from clinical and 85 were from non-clinical setting. After descriptive analysis, Cronbach’s alpha as a reliability coefficient, test-retest reliability, item-to-total correlation for internal consistency, Pearson product-moment for convergent and discriminant validity, and independent sample t-test for contrast group mean comparison were computed for validation purpose on the data through SPSS 22. Cross-language validation and mean comparison of the original and translated scale were established on a separate sample of 82 participants as indicators for equivalence.  Result: The translated scale was found to be internally consistent with satisfactory Cronbach’s alpha and test-retest reliabilities.  Convergent and discriminant validity were in assumed directions. Significant mean differences between clinical and non-clinical groups indicated the diagnostic capability of the scale. Significant cross-language correlations and non-significant mean differences between original and translated version showed that the Urdu version can be considered as equivalent to original English version. Η μέτρηση της έκβασης του ασθενούς έχει λάβει εξέχουσα θέση στην αξιολόγηση των συστημάτων υγείας τα τελευταία 30 χρόνια ενώ παράλληλα άρχισε να φαίνεται ότι η φροντίδα της ψυχικής υγείας πρέπει να παρέχεται βάσει των αναγκών των ασθενών, με απώτερο στόχο να βελτιωθεί η ποιότητα ζωής τους. Κύριος σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας ήταν η αξιολόγηση των αναγκών, της ποιότητας ζωής και της λειτουργικότητας των ψυχικά πασχόντων που λαμβάνουν φροντίδα σε δομές ψυχικής υγείας στην Κύπρο. Επιπλέον, η έρευνα αποσκοπούσε στην διερεύνηση της σχέσης μεταξύ των μεταβλητών που μελετήθηκαν. Μέθοδος: Πραγματοποιήθηκε μια συγχρονική μελέτη (cross-sectional study). Η συλλογή των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε σε δομές ψυχικής υγείας στην Κύπρο,κοινοτικές αλλά και νοσοκομειακές, με την χρήση ενός ερωτηματολογίου το οποίο περιλάμβανε την ελληνική μετάφραση του εργαλείου Camberwell Assessment ofNeed Short Appraisal Schedule (CANSAS), την Κλίμακα Αξιολόγησης τηςΠοιότητας Ζωής του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Υγείας (WHOQOL-BREF), και τηνΚλίμακα Ολικής Εκτίμησης της Λειτουργικότητας (GAS). Αποτελέσματα: Το δείγμα αποτελείτο από 202 ασθενείς οι οποίοι λαμβάνουν φροντίδα σε εξωτερικές και νοσοκομειακές δομές των Υπηρεσιών Ψυχικής Υγείαςτης Κύπρου. Η μέση ηλικία των ασθενών ήταν 46,4 έτη. Το 53,5% των ασθενών ήταν άνδρες Το 58,4% των ασθενών έπασχαν από ψυχωσικές διαταραχές, το 34,7%έπασχαν από διαταραχές διάθεσης και το 6,9% έπασχαν από αγχώδεις διαταραχές. Ομέσος αριθμός ετών με τη νόσο ήταν 17,1 χρόνια. Ο συντελεστής εσωτερικήςαξιοπιστίας Cronbach’s alpha του ερωτηματολογίου αναγκών του Camberwell στην παρούσα μελέτη ήταν 0,75 γεγονός που δηλώνει αποδεκτή αξιοπιστία. Σε ότι αφορά στις ανάγκες σύμφωνα με το CANSAS, η μέση τιμή των εκλαμβανόμενων συνολικών αναγκών από τους ψυχικά πάσχοντες στην Κύπρο ήταν 9,56, η μέση τιμή των καλυμμένων αναγκών ήταν 4,08 και η μέση τιμή των ακάλυπτων αναγκών 5,51. Στηνπαρούσα έρευνα οι πέντε πιο συχνά αναφερόμενες ακάλυπτες ανάγκες ήταν 1)σεξουαλική έκφραση, 2) ψυχολογική ανησυχία ή ψυχική αναστάτωση, 3) οικείες σχέσεις, 4) συντροφικότητα και 5) καθημερινές δραστηριότητες σε φθίνουσα σειρά.Οι πέντε λιγότερο αναφερόμενες ακάλυπτες ανάγκες ήταν οι ανάγκες για 1)αυτοφροντίδα, 2) στέγαση, 3) χρήση τηλεφώνου, 4) φροντίδα παιδιών, 5) χρήση 7αλκοόλ. Το 18,2% δήλωσαν ότι δεν είναι καθόλου ικανοποιημένοι την ποιότητα ζωής τους γενικά, το 22,7% ότι είναι λίγο ικανοποιημένοι, το 29,3% ότι είναι μέτρια ικανοποιημένοι, το 21,2% δήλωσαν ότι είναι πολύ ικανοποιημένοι και το 8,6% ότι είναι υπερβολικά ικανοποιημένοι. Το 19,9% δήλωσαν ότι δεν είναι καθόλου ικανοποιημένοι με την υγεία τους, το 17,3% ότι είναι λίγο ικανοποιημένοι, το 34,2%ότι είναι μέτρια ικανοποιημένοι, το 18,9% δήλωσαν ότι είναι πολύ ικανοποιημένοι και το 9,7% ότι είναι υπερβολικά ικανοποιημένοι. Οι περισσότεροι ασθενείς είχαν σοβαρή διαταραχή της λειτουργικότητας (42,6%), το 28,7% είχαν μέτρια διαταραχή της λειτουργικότητας, το 19,8% είχαν ήπια διαταραχή της λειτουργικότητας, το 6,9%είχαν βαριά διαταραχή της λειτουργικότητας και το 2% είχαν καλή λειτουργικότητα.Η μείωση της βαθμολογίας των ακάλυπτων αναγκών σχετίζονταν με αύξηση της βαθμολογίας αυτοεκτίμησης της ποιότητας ζωής. Η μείωση της βαθμολογίας των ακάλυπτων αναγκών σχετίζονταν με αύξηση της βαθμολογίας λειτουργικότητας. Η αύξηση της βαθμολογίας των καλυμμένων αναγκών σχετίζονταν με αύξηση της βαθμολογίας ικανοποίησης για την υγεία.Συμπεράσματα: Τα εργαλεία εκτίμησης των αναγκών, της ποιότητας ζωής και της λειτουργικότητας μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν για εκτίμηση της κλινικής αποτελεσματικότητας και του κόστους των παρεμβάσεων, την παρακολούθηση της υγείας του πληθυσμού των ψυχικά πασχόντων, στον σχεδιασμό υπηρεσιών για κάλυψη των αναγκών τους, στην βελτίωση της ποιότητας της παρεχόμενης φροντίδας καθώς και ως ενίσχυση στην διαδικασία λήψης αποφάσεων στην καθημερινή κλινική πρακτική. Η ικανοποίηση των κοινωνικών αναγκών, πέρα από τη μείωση των συμπτωμάτων, φαίνεται να έχει ιδιαίτερη σημασία για την εξασφάλιση καλύτερης ποιότητας ζωής και καλύτερης ψυχοκοινωνικής λειτουργικότητας για τα άτομα με ψυχικές διαταραχές. Τα αποτελέσματα από την χρήση των εργαλείων στον πληθυσμό των ψυχικά πασχόντων στην Κύπρο φαίνεται να συμβαδίζουν με δεδομένα από άλλες διεθνείς έρευνες.

Abstract Background During the COVID-19 pandemic, most people had to cope with the restrictions of the lockdown, leaving them to their fears, insecurity and isolation. On the other hand, due to the unexpected ‘extra time’ there was room for new experiences and for personal reflections on what is essential in life, to perceive nature and relations more consciously etc. We, therefore, intended to analyze perceived changes of attitudes and behaviors during the time of lockdown, and whether these perceptions would contribute to personal wellbeing during the pandemic. Methods An anonym cross-sectional online survey was performed for data collection, using standardized questionnaires, i.e., the WHO-Five Well-being Index (WHO-5), Brief Multidimensional Life Satisfaction Scale (BMLSS), Awe/Gratitude scale (GrAw-7), and the newly developed Perceived Changes Questionnaire (PCQ). Results Within the number of respondents (n = 1277), women were predominating (67.5%). Participants’ mean age was 50.9 ± 14.9 years. Exploratory factor analyses showed that the 24-item Perceived Changes Questionnaire differentiated five factors that would account for 61% of variance: (1) Nature/Silence/Contemplation (Cronbach’s alpha = .87), (2) Spirituality (Cronbach’s alpha = .83), (3) Relationships (Cronbach’s alpha = .80), (4) Reflection on life (Cronbach’s alpha = .74), (5) Digital media usage (Cronbach’s alpha = .74). Strongest changes were observed for Relationships and Nature/Silence/Contemplation. Perceived changes were stronger among older persons, among persons with higher wellbeing, and among those who relied on their faith as a resource. These changes were predicted best by a person’s perception of wondering awe in distinct situations with subsequent feelings of gratitude. Stepwise regression analyzes revealed that participants’ wellbeing was explained best by low perceived burden and high life satisfaction (R2 = .46). Awe/gratitude, perceived changes in terms of Nature/Silence/Contemplation and low Reflections of live are further variables that would predict a person’s wellbeing among the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusions During the Corona pandemic, people tried to find ways to adapt to the outcomes of the restrictions. The perceived changes of attitudes and behaviors can be interpreted in terms of a reappraisal strategy. These can be measured with the extended version of the PCQ which was found to have good quality indices and a plausible factor structure. The reported changes contribute to persons’ wellbeing only to some extend, indicating that they represent an independent quality of relevance in peoples’ life.

AbstractClassrooms can be noisy and are challenging listening environments for children with auditory processing disorder (APD). This research was undertaken to determine if the Listening Inventory for Education-UK version (LIFE-UK) can differentiate children with listening difficulties and APD from their typically developing peers.To investigate reliability and validity of the student and teacher versions LIFE-UK questionnaire for assessing classroom listening difficulties.Cross-sectional quantitative study comparing children with listening difficulties with typically developing children.In total, 143 children (7–12 yr) participated; 45 were diagnosed with APD. Fifteen participants with reported listening difficulties who passed the APD test battery were assigned to a “listening difficulty” (LiD) group. Eighty three children from nine classrooms formed a Control group.Children and teachers completed the LIFE-UK questionnaire student and teacher versions. Factor analysis was undertaken, and item reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha. Teacher and student ratings were compared using Spearman correlations. Correlations between LIFE-UK ratings and APD test results were also investigated.Factor analysis revealed three factors accounting for 60% of the variance in the Control group LIFE-UK ratings. After removing six items with low factor loadings, a shortened seven-item version with three factors accounted for 71.8% of the variance for the student questionnaire; Cronbach’s alpha indicated good internal reliability for this seven-item version of the student questionnaire. Factors were also derived for the teacher questionnaire. Teacher and student ratings were correlated when participant groups were combined. LIFE-UK ratings correlated weakly with some APD measures, providing some support for the questionnaire validity.The results support the use of either the 13- or 7-item student and the teacher versions of the LIFE-UK to evaluate classroom listening and functional consequences of APD. Factor analysis resulted in groupings of items reflecting differences in listening demands in quiet versus noise for the student questionnaire and attentional versus class participation demands for the teacher questionnaire. Further research is needed to confirm the robustness of these factors in other populations.

Background: Moral sensitivity has been identified as a foundational component of ethical action. Diminished or absent moral sensitivity can result in deficient care. In this context, assessing moral sensitivity is imperative for designing interventions to facilitate ethical practice and ensure that nurses make appropriate decisions. Objective: The main purpose of this study was to validate a scale for examining the moral sensitivity of Brazilian nurses. Research design: A pre-existing scale, the Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire, which was developed by Lützén, was used after the deletion of three items. The reliability and validity of the scale were examined using Cronbach’s alpha and factor analysis, respectively. Participants and research context: Overall, 316 nurses from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, participated in the study. Ethical considerations: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Research of the Nursing School of the University of São Paulo. Findings: The Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire contained 27 items that were distributed across four dimensions: interpersonal orientation, professional knowledge, moral conflict and moral meaning. The questionnaire accounted for 55.8% of the total variance, with Cronbach’s alpha of 0.82. The mean score for moral sensitivity was 4.45 (out of 7). Discussion and conclusion: The results of this study were compared with studies from other countries to examine the structure and implications of the moral sensitivity of nurses in Brazil. The Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire is an appropriate tool for examining the moral sensitivity of Brazilian nurses.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyze the internal consistency of the evaluation instrument of the adherence to the good practices of childbirth and birth care in the professionals, through Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient for each of the dimensions and for the total instrument. Method: this is a descriptive and cross-sectional study performed in obstetric centers of eleven public hospitals in the Federal District, with a questionnaire applied to 261 professionals who worked in the delivery care. Results: The study was attended by 261 professionals, 42.5% (111) nurses and 57.5% (150) physicians. The reliability evaluation of the instrument by the Cronbach Alfa resulted in 0.53, 0.78 and 0.76 for dimensions 1, 2 and 3, after debugging that resulted in the exclusion of 11 items. Conclusions: the instrument obtained Cronbach’s alpha of 0.80. There is a need for improvement in the items of dimension 1 that refer to attitudes, knowledge, and practices of the organization of the network of care to gestation, childbirth, and birth. However, it can be applied in the way it is used to evaluate practices based on scientific evidence of childbirth care.
