The aim of this research is to examine the effect of distance (online) instrument training in problem-based learning model for violoncello education on the performance and academic success of cello students during the coronavirus (Covid 19) epidemic. A single group pre-test-post-test design was used in the study, which was carried out in a trial model and in which quantitative data were collected. The study group consisted of a total of 6 cello students studying at Karabük University Safranbolu Fethi Toker Fine Arts and Design Faculty Music Department in the 2020-2021 academic year. “Cello Knowledge Test” and “Rubric” were used as data collection tools. Single group (uncontrolled) pre test-post test data were analyzed with Wilcoxon and Friedman tests, which are non-parametric methods that are used to compare data that do not show normal distribution. According to the quantitative findings, it was observed that the scores obtained from the knowledge test and the rubric, As a result of the research, it is suggested that the potential of problem-based learning should be investigated further by music educators and researchers should apply the problem-based learning model in distance or face-to-face education with different scenarios and different materials. The ability to solve problems is a skill that students need to have in dealing with various problems in life. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models; cognitive styles and interaction between both factors on science learning outcomes of students in class VII of MTs 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur in academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study sample consisted of an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 29 students. Data collection was conducted using two types of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) to measure students cognitive styles and students' learning outcomes test in essay forms. The Problem Based Learning model affect the learning outcomes, there is significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who have Cognitive field dependent (FD) style that is taught by the Problem Based Learning model and students who have Cognitive FD style that is taught by conventional learning models. The results show that the value of the experimental class post-test is higher than that of the control class. In short, the experimental class with the application of the Problem Based Learning model in the learning process provides higher learning outcomes than that of the conventional models.

This study aims to determine and improve students' understanding of the Information System Audit material using the problem-based learning model. It is hoped that this research can provide benefits for the development of effective learning models to support the formation of the personality and scientific qualities of students and improve the skills of lecturers in developing learning models. This research is a classroom action research with a problem-based learning model. The research subjects are students studying at the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Halu Oleo University in the 2018/2019 academic year who take information systems audit courses. The results showed that implementing the problem-based learning model could improve students' understanding of the information system audit material. It can be seen through an increase in students' complete learning from before when the pre-test was 0% in a row; from each cycle, there was an increase until the post-test was 95.6%. Students' interest in inactiveness and collaboration is also good, namely 3.44 (scale 1-4). This study also found that the problem-based learning model improved students' ability to solve problems, think critically, and build their knowledge because information systems audit materials require direct skills and in-depth understanding.

ABSTRACT: “Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model and Student Achievement Motivation in Gaining the Physics Learning Achievements”. The research describes the interactive influence between model of learning and achievement motivation toward Physics learning achievement. The research used a quasi experimental study with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were the students of Class X Mathematics and Sciences at the Public Senior High School 1 Kubutambahan in Bali, Indonesia, consisted of four classes or 130 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two-ways analysis of covariance. The results of this study reveal that the student achievement is due to the differences in learning models. Higher learning achievement was achieved by students who received treatment of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model. The differences in student achievement are due to also the differences in achievement motivation. Higher achievement of learning achieved by students who have high achievement motivation. Lastly, there are the interactive influences between learning model and achievement motivation towards the student achievement.KEY WORD: Learning Model; Learning Achievement; Motivation; Physics Subject.    About the Authors: I Made Yuda Suryawan, S.Pd. adalah Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNDIKSHA (Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha) di Singaraja 81116, Bali, Indonesia. This research was an experimental research that aimmed to know and measure the effectiveness of the application of Problem Based Learning model (PBL) with the assistance of animation media on tetragon material. This research type was quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was the students of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Mandai with a random sample of 28 students in an experimental class. Data collection using a test of learning achievement that has been validated by the expert. The data of this research were analyzed descriptively and inferential with normality test as prerequisite analysis test. The results of the data analysis showed that the average pre-test was 45,57 while the average post-test was 84,32. Average gain scores normalized 0,72 in the high category and normally distributed for learning achievement data. Based on the t-test obtained 0,000 < α = 0,025 we could conclud that there was a significant increase. The post-test also showed that 26 out of 28 students (92,86%) have reached KKM score in mathematics in SMP Negeri 5 Mandai. The results of this study indicate that there was a significant improvement on the mathematics learning achievement of students after being taught with PBL model with the assistance of animation media on tetragon material.

Presentation on the topic of Salt Hydrolysis can be started from a real problem, using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The PBL model should be able to increase students curiosity to get concepts independently. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PBL model on salt hydrolysis lessons about the students learning outcomes in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent groups post-test only design. Data are normal and homogeneous, as of hypothesis testing uses t-test is done at alpha 0.05, obtained tcount 5,2 and ttable 2,67. The result showed that the learning outcomes on salt hydrolysis lessons between classes using PBL model are higher than conventional model in SMAN 1 Ranah Pesisir.
