Based on a step-by-step detailed analysis of the historical experience of projects and proposals for the development of the government quarter in Kyiv, the author draws analogies and focuses risk factors on the corresponding modern concepts proposed by architects for implementation in the 21st century. Proposals and competitions for the construction of the government and administrative center, which took place over the past century, have left behind a significant theoretical material that can be used in modern design. At the same time, we consider especially valuable the experience of blunders and limitations that did not allow to implement projects in previous epochs. Based on the author's thesis on the similarity of these negative factors throughout the 20th and early 21st century, risk factors have been formulated and principles have been crystallized that are and will be relevant in the near future for the modern design of the government center. The analysis of historical experience from the point of view of studying of not only positive, but, first of all, negative experience with the subsequent extrapolation to an actual building situation is rather new for modern Ukrainian architectural practice. Meanwhile, we argue that the need for appropriate research is due to the significant similarity of risk factors, which, if ignored, can lead to similar consequences – partial implementation or complete non-implementation of projects. The article draws analogies between the competition for the construction of the Government Quarter of 1934-1935, the post-war restoration of Khreshchatyk, proposals for the placement of the administrative center of Kyiv on the Left Bank and modern development projects of the Rybalskyy Peninsula ("Kyiv City") and the Telychky district.

Islamization of Java becomes an actual topic of religious social research because the phenomena not only relate to religious discourse but also other aspects. This research focuses on the Islamization of the government center of Salatiga Central Java. The aims of this study are: to find the academic answer to why Islamization occurred in the government center of Salatiga in Central Java, to find out the Islamization process underway, to describe the dominant factors affecting Islamization, and to describe the impact of Islamization on religious life around the central government. The benefit of this research is to contribute the theories of Islamization of Government center of Java in the late of 20th century. This study is a descriptive research and causality analysis.  The events were limited to those of 1985 to 2018. The data were sourced from the archives, inscription, news, interviews, and literature. The results of the study found that the Islamization of the Salatiga government center was carried out because the infrastructure was still European patterned. The actualization of Muslim religiosity was not well supported by this infrastructure. The symbol of Islamization is the transformation of the villa on the west of the city square into a mosque. The Islamization was successful because of the symbiotic factors between political parties, rulers, scholars, Islamic universities, and religious organizations. There was no significant impact yet on the improvement of spiritual and social lives around the government center. This study enriches theories about the symbiotic relations of religions, politics, and social changes in Java in the late 20th century.

ABSTRACT. Government policy is one of the factors that can affect land value in an area. One of the government policies is the determination of land use planning in the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) and Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) which are arranged by considering suitability, harmony, and balance of cultivation and protection functions, time, technology, socio-cultural and defense security function. This research aims to find out and prove the relationship between the land value and the effect of land use planning on land value in Gamping District, Sleman, D.I Yogyakarta. In this research used land trade transactions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017and 2018 that obtained from the ATR / BPN office of Sleman Regency. These datas are then corrected by adjusting the data type and time correction. The results of the correction are used to form a land value model. Modeling land values was developed by using multiple linear regression analysis with independent variables such as land use planning (RPL), land use (PL), distance to main road (JJU), distance to housing (JPR), distance to downtown (JPK), distance to campus (JKM), field’s wide (LB), distance to the district government center (JPB), and distance to subdistrict government center (JPC). Evaluation model use determination test (R2), t table test and the result of the evaluation model are tested with Coefficient of Variation (COV). From these six years, only in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 land value modeling could be modeled.  From the result of research, it is known that the land use planning effect the land value. But only significantly affected in 2016. This indicates that the land use planning has little effect on land value.

The method used is this research is a quantitative analysis with ‘zooming’ concept. The analysis process is devided into three stages with nine assessment indicators. The stages are; (1) identifying the most ideal provinces using spatial centrality, external accessibility, and the vulnerability of macro-scale natural disaster variables, (2) identifying the most potential province using the potential of social condition, the potential of infrastructure development, and the potential of national economic integration variables, and (3) determining the most suitable zone to be the location of nation’s capital development, which is using variables of physiological and regulational suitability (land availability, water aviability, and the vulnerability of micro-scale disaster). The results of this research indicate that Paser Distict in Kalimantan Timur is the most potential region to be the future nation’s capital of Indonesia.

Since a period of Hindu-Buddhist influence,Cirebon region has been an important area, although geographically not as a government center. The existence of the Huludayeuh inscription shows that the area was noticed by the rulers of the Sunda Kingdom. When the Sunda Kingdom suffered a setback and Muslim communities on the coast developed to form political power, the southern region of Cirebon flourished. One of the developing settlements is the Gegunung Village on the edge of Ci Pager. This study shows some archaeological objects in the area. The results of this study are expected to be used as input for policy decisions in the management of ancient relics. In Gegunung Village there are several petilasan as an early sign of the emergence of settlements. Based on oral traditions, the emergence and development of these settlements began with a border guard post.

This article describes the process of forming Wehrkreise III as the East Priangan defense area and the transfer of the administrative center of West Java Province to Lebaksiuh in 1947-1948. The research method used is the historical method. The results of this study indicate that the onslaught of the Dutch military in West Java during the years 1947-1948 was faced by the struggle agencies by forming defense pockets called Wehrkreise III. Each defense bag can do its own guerrilla battle. The Commander of Wehrkreise not only oversees the struggle agencies but also oversees the civil administration in West Java. The Wehrkreise command center and the West Java provincial government center were initially in Tasikmalaya. But the Dutch military offensive made the Governor of West Java and the Wehrkreise commander move their seat to Lebaksiuh. This move was intended so that the republican government in West Java could continue to run because Lebaksiuh was a relatively safe area from Dutch attacks..

The purpose of this research was to express public perceptions of diplacement the government center from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya Malaysia. The type of research used is qualitative, with accidental sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation, while data analysis methods used descriptive methods. The results of the research suggest that the society strongly agrees with displacement of the government center from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya with various factors, one of which is the reduction of congestion, but the community has several obstacles in administrative management because it takes a long time to get to Putrajaya. However, overall the people's perception of the transfer of the government center from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya was very good and supported the decision taken by the Malaysian government. And Malaysia is also one of the countries that is successful in the process of moving the center of government, as well as being an example for other countries who want to move the center of government

Field data obtained in five districts / cities in Aceh can be represented as a sample of all regions in Aceh. The cities that are used as primary data references are Kota Lhokseumawe, Banda Aceh, Meulaboh, Takengon, and Langsa City assuming Lhokseumawe and Langsa represent Coastal Aceh, Banda Aceh Aceh Government Center, Meulaboh representing the south west Aceh region and Takengon representing the central Aceh region . It is increasingly clear that Narcotics and Prostitution Practices have become Aceh's problems that must be addressed and overcome by the government and the community in a continuous and simultaneous and comprehensive manner so that they do not become widespread in the future.
