The recognition as a scholar upon al-Marbawi, whom significantly contributed in the scholarly literatures that which became reference for Muslims within the Malay Archipelagos is undisputed. In spite of the accolades, al-Marbawi was not spared from criticism; in which his background and qualifications in the discipline of hadith were disputed. The arguement stemmed from al-Marbawi's beginnings in the quest for hadith knowledge which was deemed unclear and further aggravated by the void in the details concerning the credence of his teachers. This article therefore aims to study the development of al-Marbawi's pursuit in acquiring his studies from his childhood to adulthood. To achieve these objectives, qualitative research was employed by way of library research in addition to content analysis methods that were fully used in the process of data collection and analysis. The findings show that there are two phases of study al-Marbawi's study of hadith; the basic phase of study being while he was studying in Malaya under the tutelage of Tuan Husin Kedah while the later stage refers to studies in his adulthood which took place in egypt involving formal studies at the al-Azhar University as well as informally through the books of Sahih Muslim and Jami‘ al-Tirmidhi. In summary, the varying periods of study of al-Marbawi proves that he was an authoritative scholar in the discipline of hadith.

Abstract Background:There are no recognized quantitative diagnostic criteria, which is one of the difficulties faced in trauma orthopedics. The purpose of this study is to quantitatively evaluate the degree of bone healing after internal fracture fixation with the individualized differential ratio method. Methods:Patients with a lower limb fracture treated at the Orthopedics Department of our hospital were recruited. At the time of follow-up, the degree of bone healing was evaluated by two orthopedic physicians and one imaging physician. Patients were divided into the bone healing group (group A), the poor bone healing group (group B), and the nonunion group (group C). Three-dimensional geometric models of the unaffected limb and the affected limb after simulated removal of the internal fixation were established, corresponding to the basic phase and the simulated phase, respectively, and the average CT gray value (average CT value) was obtained. Wall thickness analysis was performed to obtain the median wall thickness after meshing. R2 (median wall thickness ratio), R4 (CT value ratio), and R5 (healing index ratio) were obtained by calculating the ratio of each value in the simulated phase to that in the basic phase. Results:A total of 79 patients were included in the study, and 112 CT scans were performed. The frequency of categorization in groups A, B, and C was 49, 37 and 26, respectively. The correlation coefficient between the degree of bone healing and R2, R4 and R5 was 0.654, 0.060 and 0.542, respectively. The median R2 in groups A, B, and C was 0.91, 0.80, and 0.67, respectively. On ROC curve analysis, R2 was more effective in evaluating bone healing and nonunion than R5. The best cutoff point for R2 in predicting bone healing was 0.84, and the best cutoff point in predicting bone nonunion was 0.74.The individualized differential ratio method can be used to quantitatively evaluate the fracture healing state, with the median wall thickness ratio as a more intuitive and reliable judgment index.

This paper presents the findings of the research carried out at the Hellenic Air Force’s 120 Air Training Wing, with the objective to define the characteristics and dimensions of emerging adulthood among student pilots during the initial and basic phase of flight training, and also to investigate the extent to which these characteristics are related to the type and content of their training. As shown by comparing the findings of the research with similar studies in the Greek context, in which students have participated, student pilots seem to be crossing the threshold of adulthood much earlier than their peers who are university students. Moreover, due to the content of their training, their views on the characteristics and dimensions of adulthood focus mostly on responsibilities and duties rather than on the rights of the adult phase of life.

Article visualizations:

In this work, the previously formulated mesoscopic model of a cysteine-silver solution, in which silver mercaptide clusters are considered as hard «sticky» spheres, is implemented on the basis of the LAMMPS software package. The key parameter that has a direct impact on the morphology of the forming aggregates and the behavior of the system depends on the salt concentration. The test calculations show that the constructed model can reproduce the stage of the maturation, the formation of the fibers of the gel-network and the coagulation of the cysteine-silver solution at the mesoscale level.

The paper presents the results of the study of phase composition and electrochemical performance of lithiummanganese oxide spinel with excess lithium of nominal composition of Li1+xMn2O4 obtained by solidphase method. It was established that samples with x = 0.1 and 0.2 were composite materials with LiMn2O4 being the basic phase and Li2MnO3 being the impurity (3 and 7 mas.%, respectively) also comprising trace amounts of MnO2. The composite material with 3% of Li2MnO3 (x = 0.1) retained 80–90% of the initial specific capacity after 300 chargedischarge cycles at C/2, while singlephase stoichiometric spinel LiMn2O4 retained less than 70–75%.

Abstract In according with the stated conception the purpose of the present work is the reconstruction of some of innumerable microstates of α phase of ferritic steels, definition of its macroparameters and their subsequent comparison with indicators of mechanical properties of industrially let out steels. The establishment of a correlation between the measured indicators of mechanical properties of already created materials and the calculated state parameters of their basic phase opens an opportunity of mechanical properties prediction of materials in dependence on their prehistory that as a matter of fact represents the central task of material science. Simulation of α-phase state of series of industrially let out ferritic steels and alloys is executed in the assumption of identity of its composition to composition of steel or alloy as a whole. The correlation between indicators of mechanical properties of steels and alloys and state parameters of their basic phase is traced.

This paper proposes a framework to systematize the scope of reclamation works that optimize the agricultural, forest, aquatic, natural, economic, and cultural values of areas after the exploitation of mineral raw materials by mining. The framework describes characteristic reclamation works, which may become the basis for estimating the financial value of reclamation projects and for securing financial means for the implementation of reclamation tasks. Three phases of reclamation are represented in characteristic reclamation works. The preliminary phase includes works related to the development of design-estimate documentation. The scope of these works is the same regardless of the direction and type of post-mining facility. The technical (basic) phase is the completion of earthworks that prepare for the biological (detailed) phase, which includes introduction of biological systems into areas transformed by mining activities. The scopes of works of the technical and biological phases are different, depending on the planned function of the post-mining area and the type of material extracted.

Abstract The effect of new technologies has reached translation as any other field of knowledge and renovated the practice, research and theory in translation. This simply suggests the need to revisit translation theories and adopt theories from other disciplines where relevant. The current paper is an attempt to inter-subjectively adopt the mathematical game theory into translation. In addition, it is not only a call to probe into the understanding of texts by adopting semiotic texts represented in political cartoons but also to go deeper with translators by making them work together in a crowdsourcing context within an online platform governed by the rules of the adopted theory to practice other processes such as revision as a basic phase in translation. Empirically, the results proved that the adopted theory matches, to a good extent, the situation of Crowdsourcing, which gives better results concerning the translation process.
