Awareness of the nature and frequency of complaints against health care professionals working in police custodial health care services could provide opportunities to improve patient safety. To explore this freedom of information requests were sent to police services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, to professional regulatory bodies and to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. Eighty-seven percent of police services responded but only a minority provided complete responses, with data not being held, or not being held in an easily retrievable format, being provided as reasons. The nature and frequency of complaints were similar to a previous 2017 study, suggesting a failure to learn lessons from the investigation of complaints and implement change in clinical practice. No evidence of an accessible complaints handling and recording procedure was provided across the police services surveyed. Regulatory bodies provided some information on the nature of complaints made against doctors and nurses working in police custodial settings, but that for paramedics was unable to do so. It is recommended that the communication loop between police services, those bodies providing health care and forensic medical services and regulatory bodies needs to be closed. A common reporting system or the application of established complaints handling procedures and reporting structures, which could be achieved by transferring these services to the National Health Service, may enhance patient safety in police custody.

Yoga tourism has witnessed a consistent development in the recent years. People around the world have become more mindful of health care options which has led to an increase in the quality of wellbeing care as a need in the minds of most age groups today. The worldwide fascination with yoga has inspired many people to travel in order to practise this activity. Kemetic yoga rapidly evolved into the wonder of yoga tourism, which nowadays is a vital and profitable component of the wellness tourism industry. This unique yoga practice draws yoga lovers from across the world, according to an official statement released by the Egyptian tourism minister promoting it internationally. In 2019, Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism collaborated with CNN broadcast to produce a short documentary about Kemetic yoga to highlight wellness tourism in the country. Egypt is a unique destination for Kemetic yogis. Although few researchers have studied Kemetic Yoga as an aspect of tourism, this research focused on the examination of marketing strategies that Egypt needs to apply to promote itself as a competitive destination for yoga. Kemetic yoga tourism is a new travel trend in Egypt, promoting a rising touristic attraction and encouraging the potential of further research. This paper focused on the examination of marketing strategies Egypt is currently implementing to promote itself as a viable yoga destination, and to recommend other marketing strategies to promote Kemetic yoga in Egypt. The methodological approach consisted of a constructivist research paradigm, a qualitative methodology and an interview-based data collection method. Intense, semi-formal interviews were conducted with Kemetic yoga practitioners from different experiences and yoga levels who had travelled to Egypt to practice Kemetic yoga. Keywords: tourism, yoga, medical, health care, wellness, marketing, Kemetic, Egypt

Children’s health is considered as an investment and wealth in society. (Engle et al., 2011) Interventions during first 5 years is golden period because of gains in physical and psychological development, is considered as one of the effective factors in the disease prevention and health promotion. (Campbell et al., 2014). According to the World Health Organization, all parents need information on healthy child development. In addition, mothers’ knowledge is one of the important aspects of child nurturing. This perspective study conducted on mother’s knowledge regarding child millstone development at Daratoo Medical Health care center in Erbil city of Kurdistan region of Iraq. Data were collected during September 12, 2019–March 12, 2020. A convenient random sampling was used to choose 100 Mothers who visited at Daratoo Medical Health care center for Medical seeking. Regarding inclusion and exclusion criteria; inclusion criteria were mothers who have children <15 years old visited health center and who did consent informed. This research studied that most of Kurdish mothers had poor knowledge regarding child millstone development including all domains (social, language, gross, and fine motor). This study concluded that mother’s level of education, types of family, and mother occupation has a vital role regarding mother’s knowledge toward child millstone development. That mean the older aged other with high level of education and high parity have a good knowledge about children development.

Abstract Background Posthemorrhagic hydrocephalus of prematurity (PHHP) is a result of intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). IVH occurs in 6 to 23% of the preterms in countries with advanced medical health care. Most of these patients will eventually require the use of ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS). The purpose of this study is to assess the risk factors of VPS implantation in patients with PHHP who have been treated with ventricular catheter with subcutaneous reservoir (VCSR). Methods The retrospective study was conducted evaluating 35 premature patients who suffered from severe IVH. Their mean gestational age was 28 weeks. The assessment included antenatal factors such as gestational age, birth weight, and intrauterine and perinatal infection. Postparturient period factors such as the IVH grade, time between diagnosis, and VCSR implantation and body weight on VCSR implantation were also considered in the study. Postprocedural complications, such as bacterial cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) infection, sepsis, and skin lesions, were evaluated. Data were calculated with R program, version 4.04. Results From among 35 evaluated patients, 23 (65.71%) required a VPS. Median of birth weight was 1,190 g. Infections were observed in 11 (31.43%) cases. Mean time between IVH diagnosis and VCSR implantation was 2.6 weeks. Postprocedural complications occurred in 19 (54.29%) patients. None of the evaluated factors has proven its statistical significance (p > 0.05) for being a potential risk factor for VPS implantation. Conclusion External factors seem to not affect the necessity of VPS implantation in patients after the severe IVH. Ostensibly, there seems to be no difference between the grades III and the IV of Papile's IVH scale regarding VPS implantation necessity.

Activity recognition in humans is one of the active challenges that find its application in numerous fields such as, medical health care, military, manufacturing, assistive techniques and gaming. Due to the advancements in technologies the usage of smartphones in human lives has become inevitable. The sensors in the smartphones help us to measure the essential vital parameters. These measured parameters enable us to monitor the activities of humans, which we call as human activity recognition. We have applied machine learning techniques on a publicly available dataset. K-Nearest Neighbors and Random Forest classification algorithms are applied. In this paper, we have designed and implemented an automatic human activity recognition system that independently recognizes the actions of the humans. This system is able to recognize the activities such as Laying, Sitting, Standing, Walking, Walking downstairs and Walking upstairs. The results obtained show that, the KNN and Random Forest Algorithms gives 90.22% and 92.70% respectively of overall accuracy in detecting the activities.

The covid-19 crisis is global but its socio-economic effects cannot be globally scrutinized. It is deeply local and huge. The research aimed at finding out and assessing community perceptions about Covid-19 and its socio-economic effects in Rwanda. It would inspire policymakers to renovate measures and policies that would help in rehabilitating all sectors in general and more affected groups in particular. From 30 districts of Rwanda, 510 respondents have been sampled through convenience and judgmental techniques. Findings revealed that people misinterpret the pandemic which lowers their level of compliance to Covid-19 preventive measures. Stay home orders were not a fruitful time for families whereby 84% of respondents were victims of domestic and sexual violence. However, with 16%, it was a good time for family cohesion. Isolation and social values frustration, family disorganization and dysfunctional, depression, and anxiety are major social effects of Covid-19.  Loss of jobs, decreased salaries, none compliance with preventive measures fines, incapacity to pay bank loans, inability to satisfy family basic needs, government extra investment in medical health care have enormously affected the Rwandan economy. Thus, there is a need of strengthening sensitization of covid-19 spread, preventive measures, short and long-term consequences associated with it. This would shift the population from their wrong perceptions of covid-19 and increase the rate of compliance to established measures so as to free Rwanda from the pandemic and return to a normal life situation.

Introduction: Medical practice is a highly emotionally and behaviorally demanding occupation. Thus, the design of teaching and learning programs in medical colleges need to be modified to adapt such need. Behavioral and social sciences must be implemented to develop competent medical health care workers. Educational programs in Egyptian medical schools are undergoing a gradual shift toward integration, student-centeredness, and early clinical exposure. The Psychiatry Department & Medical Education Department at the Armed Forces College of Medicine in Egypt in collaboration with the Medical Education Department at Michigan state university; developed behavioral & Social science curriculum by adopting ADDIE’s basic five-step model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation processes. The identified curriculum has been split into three divisions: social topics related to behavioral medicine, basic psychology, and clinical medicine related to behavioral science. Twenty-six topics were included in these three divisions and were distributed in the seven selected core competencies. The working team expects to include more sociocultural and anthropology topics in the curriculum in the future. Additionally, it is hoped that more time will be allocated for this module, so it would be more possible to include other teaching & assessment methods for developing global understanding of disorders, and practical skills for behavior modification, as well as, encourage students to consider actual treatment strategies in clinical case scenarios. It is also hoped that students could get the chance for early exposure to hospital-based cases. This will motivate the students by allowing them to come into contact with various real-life settings. Most of the existing work does not ensure the optimal and secured storage maintenance of big data. This is resolved in the proposed research method name called secured multimedia big data content protection system (SMBDCPS). The proposed scheme has using AES and SHA-256 hybrid mechanism for securing the keys of encryption and decryption. This method has integrated the key value of AES and SHA-256 together to generate the new key value for increasing the security level. The main advantage of the proposed scheme has required only small storage which is computation efficient. The overall performance of the proposed scheme has carried out on MATLAB simulation environment over the medical health care datasets. The performance proves the proposed scheme has yield better results than the existing scheme.
