This study aimed to explain the case of ectoparasite infection and the life cycle of parasites in turtledoves (Geopelia striata). Sarcoptes sp. one of the ectoparasites belonging to the phylum Arthropods, the Arachnid class, and the order Acarina.Sarcoptes sp. can infect the skin of the host through direct contact with infected animals and the environment. Sarcoptes sp. infects by forming a lump under the skin and severe infection causes a crust to form on the skin and is accompanied by itching. Physical examination was carried out by means of inspection of the infected skin area. Subsequent examinations were carried out on the dead skin cells mixed with fresh manure macroscopically and microscopically. Macroscopic examination was done by observing the condition of the skin that is discraped. Microscopic examination using native examination. Based on the negative examination, it was found that there were Sarcoptes sp. mites on an objective microscope with a 40x magnification. Geopelia striata can be infected with Sarcoptes sp. through direct contact with sick animals. The incubation period of Sarcoptes sp. after infection from infected animals was 3-6 weeks.

Fasciolosis is a disease caused by infection with liver fluke (Fasciola sp). Fasciolosis is a parasitic disease that is important because it can cause high economic losses. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of gamal (Gliricidia sepium) leaf extract against mortality of Fasciola gigantica in vitro study. In present study was completely randomized design with six treatments and each treatment were divided into four replications. A total of 240 specimens from infected cattles were used in this study. The observation and recording of F. gigantica mortality in all treatments with concentrations of gamal leaf extract P1 (1%), P2 (2%), P3 (3), P4 (4%), K + (Nitroxynil 2%) and K- (physiological NaCl) rate was done in 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210 and 240 minutes, respectively. The mortality of F. gigantica was confirmed if there was no movement when triggered by anatomy tweezers then dipped in slightly warm water (50 15℃"> ). The data was analyzed using ANAVA Faktorial and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results of this study were shown the lowest and the highest mortality rate recorded at minutes 30 and 240 respectively. Moreover, the mean of mortality rate were peaked in nitroxynil (K+) and 1% gamal leaf extract treatment, while the lowest mean of mortality rate occurs in NaCl (K-) treatment. Present study conclude that gamal leaf extract has anthelmintic effect on the mortality rate of Fasciola gigantica. Gamal leaf extract with 1% concentration was claimed to be the most effective.

The study aimed to identify the total number of E. coli used in fresh cow milk in KPSP Ijen Makmur. The sample was used by as many as 16 samples from a group of cattle farmers. E. coli analyzed using Most Probable Number (MPN), 3 series of tubes. Before continuing the MPN test the milk must be diluted, 25 ml of milk was poured into the dilution of the 225ml peptone water buffered then homogenized for 2 minutes. MPN consist of presumptive coliform test if positive was found of gas and was cloudy, presumptive faecal coliform test positive was found in the gas and was cloudy, confirmed E.coli test if there was a black colony with or metallic green, continued by a biochemical test with red ring-positive Indole, Methyl Red positive the color is red, negative Voges Paskauer if there is no change in color, and negative citrate will turn green. Results showed that from the 16 samples of fresh milk used there were 7 samples of fresh milk that exceeded the contamination limit E. coli or < 3 apm /ml. Conclusion, number of E. coli in fresh milk at KPSP Ijen Makmur 43.75% of the total sample exceeded maximum contamination.

2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is a chemical compound resulting from the burning effect that is very dangerous for humans, plants, or animals which can cause skin damage, immunotoxic, hepatotoxic, carcinogenic, teratogenic, effects on reproduction, growth processes, neurobehavioral, and endocrine effects that are specific In addition, this compound can also reduce embryo weight and increase embryo mortality. This study aimed to determine the teratogenic of TCDD administration on eye diameters and body weight of chicken embryo. In this study there were 2 treatment groups, i.e: 1) P1 as a normal group without the addition of TCDD, and 2) P2 as a group with the addition of TCDD of 5 ng / egg with dissolved in 5 µL corn oil. The treatment was carried out for 7 days. The measurement data of eye diameters and body weight of chicken embryo were analyzed by the unpaired sample T test. The analysis showed that the teratogenic of TCDD had a significant effect on eye diameters and body weight of chicken embryos, where the teratogenic of TCDD caused a decrease in eye diameters and body weight loss in chicken embryos.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a sodium salt from glutamic acid which is currently very popular to be used as a food flavoring ingredient to stimulate appetite. Exessive consumption of MSG can disrupt the balance of antioxidants and ROS, and cause the negative effects of oxidative stress on testes. Coffee has high chlorogenic acid, function for antioxidants and reduce the negative effect on cell damage in the testes. This study aims to analyze the effect of robusta coffee extract on histological of mice testes induced with MSG. This study was completely randomized design (CRD), using 20 male mice for 5 treatment groups: K+ (MSG 0.12 mg and Vitamin C 6 mg), K- (MSG 0.12 mg and CMC Na 0.1 ml), P1 (MSG 0.12 mg and RCE 0.1 mg), P2 (MSG 0.12 mg and RCE 0.2 mg), and P3 (MSG 0.12 mg and RCE 0.4 mg) orally for 42 days. Histophatological scores were analyzed with Saphiro-Wilk Test and Anova. There is no effect of increasing testicular weight. 0,12 mg MSG can cause a decrease in the number of spermatogonia and spermatocytes. 0,2 mg robusta coffee extract can maintain the number of spermatogonia and spermatocytes.

This research is about testing the effectiveness of clove flower extract (Syzygium aromaticum L.) as an analgesic against the beating time caused by formalin male mice. This research is experimental with the Complete Random Design formula producing four times repetition (N = 4) and divided into five treatment groups (t = 5). Data were analyzed using ANAVA factorial test then followed by Duncan test. All tests are carried out with Product Solutions and Service Statistics (SPSS). The results of research and statistical analysis prove that clove flower extract at a dose of 1% is an effective dose compared to other treatment groups, seen from the amount of time licking male mice  which is smaller than other treatment groups. It can be concluded that the administration of clove flower extract has analgesic effectiveness against the reaction of male mice induced by formalin. The concentration of clove flower extract 1% is the most effective in reducing licking time.

Lipoma in birds is a benign tumor of adipose cells that often occurs in the subcutaneous area. White-rumped shama, more than three years old, was rushed to the puskesmas with symptoms of decreased activity and singing ability. The results of the examination were two round, multi-focal masses, firmly demarcated, yellowish in color with a soft, chewy consistency measuring ± 4 x 2 x 1 cm on the chest and ± 1 x 1 x 1 cm. in the abdominal area, firmly attached to the subcutaneous layer since six months ago, and getting bigger. The feathers around the mass are shed and vascularized on the surface of the mass. Surgery was performed because the mass suspected of being a tumor growing rapidly and causing pain. It was fasted two hours before surgery and the anesthetic used was a combination of ketamine HCl and xylazine. Postoperative therapy using the antibiotic enrofloxacin, ketoprofen analgesics, 0.9% NaCl fluid therapy and topical antibiotic gentamicin ointment. The tumor that has been successfully removed is yellowish in color with several areas of hyperemia and an oily surface. The results of histopathological examination characterized by the presence of adipose cells that appeared to proliferate well confirmed that the tumor was a lipoma.
