The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia affects almost all aspects of our lives including in education where learning patterns turn into online learning. Strain on the eyes can cause discomfort and may lead to decreased productivity. The purpose of this counseling is to improve the understanding of maintaining the health of children's eyes in this period of online learning by applying the pattern of use of gadgets properly and correctly. The results of this activity showed that there was an increasing the knowledge of participants. Before counseling, only 4.5% of participants had good knowledge about how to maintain eye health. After being given counseling, the level of good knowledge of the participants increased to 60%. Pay attention to ergonomic sitting positions such as computers/laptops are placed in line with the eye view and optimal room lighting settings are performed as good lighting supports eye health. Get used to giving enough time for the body to rest periodically for example resting the eyes every 2 hours after the use of the gadget. The frequency of rest after using a computer is proven to increase comfort and relax the power of eye accommodation. When resting your eyes it is recommended to do physical activity outdoors to be exposed to sunlight.
The problems generally faced by farmers are that vegetables easily rotting due to delayed selling time and higher hygienic standard of vegetables. Based on an interview, we acknowledge that the farmers are unable to understand the utilization of ultraviolet irradiation technology. UV irradiation facilities - which help kills various types of bacteria, spores, protozoan viruses and algae - should be placed near vegetable harvest location. The physical part of vegetables requires special attention and they should not be moved on a regular basis to prevent damages. However, the harvest location is quite distant from electricity sources. As a solution to overcome this problem, a solar powered UV irrayer facility equipped with a portable bag is required. Besides that, the tool should be fitted with branded plastic casings to hold the vegetable to improve selling value, safety, and readiness of the vegetables. The objective of the utilization of this appropriate technology is to improve the quality of the harvested crops. Vegetables will be free from bacteria and risks of Covid-19 exposures. The target of this program is to improve vegetable selling sales rate and to improve the prosperity of the farmers better, or at least as high as pre-pandemic era. The method used to procure this appropriate technology is a design thinking method that covers empathy, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The implementation of the counseling and training activities were conducted on-line and off-line whilst also applying a strict health protocol. The activity was conducted for 4 months.

The role of SMEs in supporting the development movement and the Indonesian economy is no longer in doubt. Several times the economic crisis has hit Indonesia, but SMEs can still get through. The flexible nature of SMEs as well as being very vital makes them ideal as an economic driver during difficult situations. But unfortunately, there are still many SMEs that do not have clear and targeted business plans, causing their businesses to not last long. The purpose of community service that will be achieved in this activity is to provide understanding and improve the skills of SMEs actors so that they have the ability to practice compiling business planning and budgets that will be applied to their business, so it is hoped that these SMEs actors can have written guidelines as maps and action plan in running its business. The method used is based on a group approach. The series of activities started from surveys and in-depth interviews to explore problems faced by partners, followed by a coordination meeting of the PkM– community service proposer team to analyze partners' needs and prepare materials. The delivery of material in the form of counseling is carried out online (Zoom meeting), containing: instilling a basic mindset about the importance of making a business plan and the impact of the absence of a business plan, then steps to compile a business plan accompanied by procedures for making a business budget in writing.
Biopore Infiltration Hole (LRB) is an alternative and simple technology for rainwater infiltration that can be useful as a processor for organic waste from households and can be applied in narrow urban residential areas such as in Kota Bambu Selatan (KBS) Sub-district. LRB technology in general is to reduce water inundation, increase groundwater reserves, and reduce the volume of organic waste. Therefore, the Community Service Program of the Environmental Engineering Study Program has the aim of providing counseling and training to PPSU officers (Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling Workers) of KBS Sub-district in implementing LRB in accordance with technical requirements without impacting groundwater pollution. The method used was to provide LRB educational materials aimed at the community, especially PPSU officers through direct explanations, educational posters and brochures. The current condition is that KBS Sub-district already has LRB at several points in 2017, however it got some technical problems such as pipe size is too small, namely 7.5 cm (minimum pipe diameter requirement is 10 cm); there is dredging activity, there is no top cover so that small animals often enter, and in some locations there is often stagnant water.

Keumamah is made from the preservation of eastern little tuna (Euthynnus affinis). For keumamah production, boiling of fresh eastern little tuna in water, is one of the main process which requires a lot of energy. The keumamah producers utilize three-stone like stove with wood biomass as the fuel. The stove adoption is economically motivated since the fuel is cheaper than other form of commercial energy and relatively easy to obtain. However, the stove is inefficient and wasting the wood. Inefficient burning of wood releases smoke and volatile organic compounds (VOC) which are dangerous to human health and harmful for the environment. Therefore, in this community development program, two keumamah producers, located near Lampulo fish harbour - in Banda Aceh, were introduced to better practices in utilizing biomass wood as energy source. They were firstly given the information on the reverse impacts on health and environment introduced by three-stone like stove. The team has developed an improved biomass stove with improved efficiency, less fuel consumption and much cleaner combustion. Later this clean better design biomass stove with its advantages was introduced. From the test of performance, the stoves showed: 1) faster cooking time; 2) reduce fuel consumption by nearly 30%; 3) reduced smoke; and 4) flexible usage of working space with modular design. It is the intentions of this program for the stove to benefit the keumamah producers and their workers with less expending for fuel and cleaner work environment.
